Me and my fiance went there to celebrate our engagement and I couldn't have chosen a cosier and inviting place to do so. The food was amazing and the staff were friendly. The chef came out to greet us throughout the experience and afterwards. It really gave a personal touch to the meal and made it all the more special. We also opted for the sake pairings and the variety available was equally amazing. The sake pairings were perfect for each course. Would highly recommend.
A very small shop with just a few small tables in a residential area. Reservations are therefore highly recommended. The seating (low stools without backrests) isn't very inviting. It also smells quite strongly of food, so the door is usually left open, which creates a draft depending on where you sit. The spinach with peanut sauce wasn't what you'd expect; the sauce tasted too much of coconut milk and not enough of peanut or sesame.
The fried rolls were too doughy for our taste, so we didn't enjoy them all that much. Another roll with mango was also, to be honest, not great; the mango was still too hard/unripe. The nigiri, however, were very good. All in all, the sushi was okay, but we've had much better. The service and friendliness, however, were outstanding; we've rarely been served so nicely.
Those were the best çiğ köfte I've ever eaten! Perfectly seasoned! The owner was also very, very friendly! I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!
We stumbled upon Papa George's by chance while passing through and were thrilled. The pizza was delicious, freshly prepared, and ready quickly.
Highly recommended!
Great food!! I'd leave the ambiance out of the review, as the food truck is parked in a parking lot in front of a hardware store, and it's not exactly idyllic. BUT the food is super delicious; you can eat it there, take it with you, or have it delivered. :-) Very, very friendly service, quick preparation, and again: super delicious! The food was incredibly delicious with a subtle hint of cinnamon (shawarma). The falafel was the tastiest I've ever eaten. The falafel could have had a bit more garlic and sesame flavor for my taste. You can also pay with debit card/mobile phone.
I ordered the Tartufata to go. Taste-wise, it was average, but the crust was very thin and crispy – almost perfect. However, the price of almost €20 for a delivery pizza with such sparse toppings isn't justified. The pizza itself tasted good nonetheless.
The owner is fully committed to his business and puts his whole heart and soul into it. This is evident in every aspect, which is why I'm giving it full marks.
A wonderful stay at the Hotel Alte Schule in Tiefenbach! The hotel impresses with its charm, warm hospitality, and all-around pleasant atmosphere. The absolute highlight is the exceptional breakfast: lovingly prepared, extremely varied, and of outstanding quality – it truly leaves nothing to be desired. A perfect start to the day! Highly recommended; we would love to return.
