I quickly booked a hotel as I drove past and was surprised that I ended up in a Catholic conference center and hotel - the many crosses and the picture of Wolki at the reception take some getting used to.
The facility is magnificent, yet modern and quite new. The room was large, functionally furnished and clean. I had a great view of Cologne.
The breakfast was good, the breakfast room was just packed when I was there.
Since all the restaurants were closed on Tuesday evening, I walked into town in 10 minutes and went to a really good little Italian restaurant "Ristorante Italia".
The drunken old guy...the friendly young Asian girl...TLC...90 Days to the Altar. On top of that, the comforters smelled. However, Wolfsschlucht...delicious and perfect.
A pleasant, modern hotel in a historic building. Very good breakfast, our room was a bit dark (despite the lighting) and the beds were relatively soft.
Today we were able to hold a meeting of former colleagues from BWH Peine with 17 people at your place. Thank you very much for the tasty food and the very good service from the waitress. We'd love to come back.
4 of us stayed in this hotel for one night and we were warmly welcomed by the Italian lady who manages it, which made the arrival even more pleasant. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, with a hot shower always available. The only flaw: some power sockets didn't work, which created some minor inconvenience. Breakfast was plentiful, although average. Overall, the welcome, courtesy and kindness of the management were truly impeccable. It's a shame the restaurant no longer exists because from the outside it gave us the idea that it was really beautiful! Peaceful and quiet area.
We went on a short city trip and were very happy with our choice of hotel. The location is great - just 10 minutes walk to the old town. There are many good restaurants in the area, so we didn't even have to move the car during our stay.
A big plus point: There is free parking directly at the hotel, which was extremely helpful. The breakfast was also very good.
We would particularly like to highlight the friendly and courteous staff - high praise and many thanks!
The internet was also excellent throughout the house - strong reception and a fast connection.
We plan to visit Coburg again and will definitely stay at this hotel again!
A small point of criticism concerns the beds: although they were comfortable and clean, we had specifically booked a room with a double bed. Instead there were two single beds pushed together. Unfortunately, the resulting gap between the mattresses was a bit annoying.
Only applies to the restaurant for the schnitzel special on Friday.
The portions are very large for the price (€11.90). The fries are included but can also be exchanged at an additional cost.
I was definitely full and it was delicious.
It's not easy to get there using public transport, so a car is recommended.
We have been there many times and mostly satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The prices for it have increased. The asparagus soup was so salty that it was actually inedible. The potato salad tasted like bucket goods. The other food wasn't anything special either. You couldn't pay with VISA.
It's not surprising that even on Easter Monday the inn was practically empty. Quite a disappointment.
