Went here because it was No1 for German food. The food was delicious. Full of flavour carrot & ginger soup followed by very tasty grilled duck. My friend loved the spring rolls and said the beef goulash was very tender. Ariana was very charming and courteous. We were the only customers at the time so can’t comment on the ambience but we were happy anyway. We had a lovely meal. Thank you Ariana and Michael.

It was my first time here and I'm thrilled. Very good service and it tasted wonderful. I could also get a parking space even though every table was occupied. Only the map seems almost too extensive to me. But everyone certainly sees it differently. We ordered the roulades and the pork medallions and for dessert Kaiserschmarren and apple rings with vanilla ice cream. Yummy.

Cozy ambiance & first-class food The Alte Zunft in Achern impresses with its truly cozy atmosphere, especially at the bar. There, you have the opportunity to chat not only with the friendly owner but also with other guests in a relaxed atmosphere. The changing menu is simply fantastic! The quality of the premium meat is outstanding – every dish literally melts in your mouth. The desserts are also a real highlight. While some dishes are a bit more expensive, the quality makes it absolutely worth it. We'd definitely be happy to come back!

The food was excellent. The price-performance ratio was justified. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The food is very good, it is a small restaurant, you should definitely make a reservation. We were all satisfied and would love to come back.

Wir sind zufällig auf der Fahrt zwischen Düsseldorf und Nürnberg hier „gestrandet“, weil das Lokal in der Nähe der Autobahn liegt. Wir waren vom Essen, der Gastfreundschaft und dem Service begeistert. Die indischen Gerichte waren exzellent!

Homemade Thuringian dumplings and a goose breast with sauce and Rotraut: a Sunday dinner just as I wanted it. The atmosphere is also, as expected, very secret, as it should be in the village. The service is very courteous and friendly. I and the others who were there (8 people) really enjoyed it and enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Here you are always welcomed in a friendly manner and with a smile, the food is delicious, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. You can collect a Touringen stamp in the beer garden - but it's worth stopping here for more than just one time ☺️ !!!

The market jug in Rostock is a real gem! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is super friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic – fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared with a lot of love. We were particularly impressed by the regional specialties. The drink selection is also great, with a nice selection of beers and wines. Price-performance ratio also fits! We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the Marktkrug.

Our evening yesterday was very nice. The fish was delicious as always 😋 The salmon tartare in particular was a great culinary delight
