We reserved a table in advance; with a bit of luck, you might get one without a reservation. Very delicious dishes and very attentive and friendly staff! It's good to know that the menu changes a little every week. The Maultaschen (swabian pasta) and Cordon Bleu, for example, are made in-house. Every visit is worth it 😊

The chef knows their craft and works with finesse. The selection of regional wines is good. The price is reasonable. The service is very friendly and attentive. The rustic ambiance is cozy and fits the overall concept. Whether at a table or at the bar, take advantage of the opportunity if you can get a seat 😜 We had a lovely evening and would love to come back again.

A spacious terrace with a few tables; reservations are preferred. The service was good and fast. The ribs were perfect in both flavor and texture. The salad was fresh and of a decent size. Although parking isn't easy on this street, there's a parking lot just a few meters away with plenty of free spaces.

We arrived hungry – we left happy (and plump)! At the Alte Zunft, we weren't just served – we were pampered! The service? Fast, super friendly, and with a really good mood. You rarely experience such warmth (except maybe at Grandma's when you ask for a third helping 😄). The steak was a poem – wow on the outside, yum on the inside! The Maultaschen? A culinary home base. We didn't want to get up. In short: We felt completely at home, were well looked after, and ate like kings with Swabian pedigree. We'll be back – no question.

Incredibly good and lovingly prepared food! We were truly impressed! I'm the daughter of a chef and am truly spoiled. I haven't eaten this well in a long time, and at such reasonable prices, too. 11 out of 10 stars! If I lived nearby, I'd be here all the time. Huge praise to the chef!

Cozy atmosphere & first-class food The Alte Zunft in Achern impresses with a really cozy atmosphere, especially at the bar. There you have the opportunity to chat not only with the friendly boss, but also with other guests in a relaxed atmosphere. The changing menu is simply great! The quality of the high-quality meat is excellent - every dish literally melts in your mouth. The desserts are also a real highlight. Although some dishes are a bit more expensive, the quality makes it absolutely worth it. We would definitely like to come back!

Nostalgia from the 80s and gourmet gourmet come together. No wish remains unfulfilled. A small but very fine kitchen. Any food is not just pleasing to the eye but a classic that is second to none. Chef Michi and his angels in the kitchen are responsible for the palate, Dani and her girls ensure the mood and wet throats with always new drink variations. We Swabians feel very comfortable here (thanks to Bert). Claudi and Klaus

Such a cute restaurant! Are not from the area, were in Strasbourg and were hungry in the evening. Were allowed to stay without a reservation. Great atmosphere, nice staff, food very tasty.

The three of us ate there today and it was great. The location is very timely but extremely relaxed, the service was great and the food was outstanding. The deer ragout and the iron steak are highly recommended. Be sure to stop by!!!

Small and very fine family-run restaurant. Be sure to reserve. We had a wonderful evening as a couple. Food and drinks were great. What impressed us most was the friendliness of everyone in the restaurant. No matter whether landlady, waitress, cook. Everyone was attentive, friendly and took the time to give tips and recommendations for food and drinks. We have never felt as comfortable in a restaurant as we did here, thank you very much.

If I could, I would give more than five stars. The food was excellent. The ambience matched the name exactly, it was very cozy. Great and courteous service. Everyone was super nice and at the end the boss came out of the kitchen and asked. There is love and passion in it. More than recommended!

The food was so good we ate here twice during our stay in Achern. Lovely, cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. We really enjoyed the wild boar ragu, the ribeye steak and the fried potatoes.

I never thought there would be such great food here!!! We came across the Old Guild by chance, came here spontaneously with a group of 10 people, and were not disappointed. The menu is varied, the portions are just right and the dishes are simply delicious!!! Very well seasoned, freshly prepared. It doesn't really get any better! The interior of the Old Guild has a 'traditional' design and has not been modernized for a long time. But it's very comfortable to sit in, everything is clean and well-kept (I've rarely seen such well-maintained toilets!!!). It was really great, the service and the friendliness of the staff towards my children too (the children's meal came first!!! Someone thought of that ;)) We felt very comfortable! Thanks!

In a nutshell...we have rarely been served such great food!!! We each ordered the flank steak... my wife, as it was on the menu, and I a larger salad instead of the fries. The meat was so tender, you almost didn't have to cut it, the knife fell through just because of its own weight... the salad was simply world class, everything was top fresh... nothing... but nothing at all to complain about. The food we ordered isn't necessarily a bargain...but I believe...worth every penny. We were passing through and were lucky that we called and made a reservation... in the evening we found out that some requests had to be rejected because there were no more places available. Despite the outside temperature of around 32°C, the staff was super friendly...quick and accommodating...simply great...a successful evening...if we come through Achern again, we will eat there again. Many thanks to the kitchen team and the service...as a guest you can tell that you put your heart and soul into your jobs...please keep it up.

Ein sehr schöner Außenbereich, welcher zum verweilen einlädt. Wir saßen draußen, da es zu der Zeit sehr warm war. Hunde sind hier gerne gesehen. Bedienungen sind sehr sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Die Seisekarte ist sehr vielfältig aber auf ein minimum reduziert, was auch sehr gut ist, weil die Gerichte einfach auf den Punkt sehr gut und sehr lecker sind. In unserem Urlaub war es das beste Restaurant in dem wir waren. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren gestern zu einer Geburtstagsfeier dort und ich muss sagen Hammer!!! Es war mehr als eine Gaumenfreude. Ein Muss für Leute die in Achern Essen gehen möchte. Das Personal sehr nett und freundlich, der Koch lässt sich auch sehen und fragt gerne nach ob alles geschmeckt hat, klein aber sehr sehr fein

Wer es urig mag. Und mal gut bürgerlich ein bißchen anders essen mag. Eine sehr ausgewogene Speisekarte mit saisonalen Gerichten und Klassiker mag, der ist bei Pia Bert Daniela und Michi genau richtig! Das Essen ist der Hammer. Es gibt auch etwas speziellere Getränke. Spitzbuckel Bier und Scheibel Schnaps. Wir haben heute meinen Geburtstag dort gefeiert und es war phänomenal.

Zum Abschluss unserer Irland-Frankreichreise sind wir fast zufällig hier eingekehrt und haben Spaß, kulinarisch und menschlich: ein Backhendl, der einen ausgewogenen Kartoffelsalat mit genug Säure hat und mit gebackenem Rucola als Topping serviert wird. Ich empfehle dazu noch einen gemischten Salat und bin satt und glücklich. Die Weinempfehlung der Chefin - ein Sauvignon blanc - war ein Treffer, fruchtig ausgewogen und eine passende Wahl zum Essen. Meine Begleitung isst ein Steak in Rotweinsauce mit Pommes und Salat, dazu ein Ulmer Bier: ich habe 15 Minuten lang einen überaus zufriedenen Mann neben mir: danke an dieses tolle familiengeführte Lokal. Zum Schluss gab es einen Kräuterlikör - vom Gründer der Wirtschaft selbst hergestellt. Merci beaucoup!

Wenn Jemand kocht, - als wäre es für ihn selber; Wenn er die Gerichte präsentiert als wäre Jedes eine Liebeserklärung; Wenn Qualität und eine ehrliche, natürliche Freundlichkeit hinzukommt, - dann, - ja, dann fühlt man sich wirklich wie ein König, - und dazu muss man noch nicht einmal nach Frankreich, sondern "nur" nach Achern!

Vorab: Ich war selten so begeistert von einem Restaurant ! Ich habe 50€ ausgegeben, und jeder Cent war es wert ! Womit anfangen ? Mit dem Service. Das Ankommen und begrüßt werden ist doch der Türöffner, oder ? Ich hatte tel. reserviert und wurde sofort bedient. Nur wenige Minuten später fragte mich eine andere Servicekraft, ob ich schon bestellt hätte. Das lokale Bier, Vor- und Hauptspeise kamen sehr schnell, die Beratung zu Wein und Digestif war vorbildlich. Der Küchenchef hat zwischendurch und nachher nachgefragt. Alle sind freundlich und locker. Die machen aus Beruf Berufung und Leidenschaft, das Erlebnis des Gastes steht stets im Vordergrund. Das Essen. Das (riesige) Onglet-Steak, ‚englisch‘ bestellt, war perfekt in Qualität und Garpunkt, die geschmorten Rotweinzwiebeln mit Jus eine Geschmacksexplosion, die ‚Pommes‘ waren die besten in meinem Leben, handgeschnitzt. Die Deko zur Hauptspeise war optisch und geschmacklich ein Kunstwerk. Der gemischte Salat mit Croutons war auch besonders, auch das Dressing. Die Getränke. Das Bier (siehe Bild) stammte aus einer Manufaktur in Lauf (ehemalige Glashütte). Köstlich. Der Rioja (nicht auf der Karte, aber auf Nachfrage) war eine ideale Begleitung zu Fleisch und Jus. Das Ambiente. Drinnen klassisch rustikal, draußen an der Hauptstraße trotzdem gemütlich, mit viel Grün, stylischen Wärmestrahlern. Sehr geschmackvolle Deko auf den Tischen. Bei diesem sensationellen Gesamtpaket habe ich den Straßenverkehr vollkommen überhört (was nicht jedem gelingt, aber man kann ja auch drinnen sitzen). Die Karte ist klein und übersichtlich, was ich sehr schätze. Steaks sind die Spezialität, es gibt aber auch kleine Speisen. In Anlehnung an den Guide Michelin: Die Alte Zunft ist einen Umweg wert 👍🏻 Danke an das tolle Team ! P.S.: als kleine, wohl gemeinte Anregung - die Rotweinauswahl ist etwas sehr von Spätburgunder geprägt - vielleicht noch einen Merlot und/oder ein Cuvee aus hiesigen Anbau auf die Karte nehmen ?

Alles sehr lecker und alle super lieb

Das Essen und der Service waren erstklassig !! Lediglich die Tische an der Strasse sind keine gute Idee !!! Viel Lärm und Abgase sind lässtig. Gerade abends wenn die Poser unterwegs sind. Aber trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert !!!

Hier isst man immer erstklassig - und dementsprechend cool ist es dann auch meistens. Trotzdem ist das Personal stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Den "Gastgarten" an der vielbefahrenen Hauptstraße muss man allerdings nicht unbedingt super finden. Drinnen ist es hingegen sehr gemütlich. Eindeutig empfehlenswert!

Boa Ey - der Hammer! Eher zufällig in der alten Zunft gelandet und waren total begeistert! Man merkt das mit Herz & Liebe der Betrieb familiengeführt wird...! Wir hatten das Spargel-Cordon-Bleu und die Wok-Ente. Was soll ich sagen: Eine solche Qualität bekommt man selten geboten. Es war derartig lecker dass wir noch einmal wieder kommen mussten! (Obwohl wir 230km entfernt wohnen) Man reservierte uns nach einem sympathischen Small-Talk einen Tisch für zwei Wochen später, dann drei Personen - und, noch einmal extra DANKE dafür = 3x das Spargel-Cordon-Blue. Obwohl es zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht mehr auf der Karte stehen sollte entsprach man unserem Wunsch, wo gibt es das denn bitte sonst noch !!!??? Und auch beim zweiten Besuch waren wir von der Qualität und der Herzlichkeit begeistert - Wir saßen "bis zum Feierabend" draußen, genießten einfach den lauen Abend... Danke! War seit langem mal wieder in der alten Zunft essen u muss sagen,dass mir die Speisekarte früher besser gefallen hat,mehr saisonal und abwechslungsreichere Auswahl,trotz allem war das Essen sehr gut und das Personal wie immer sehr aufmerksam und freundlich!Komme gerne wieder.

Hier ist ein Besuch ein absolutes MUSS . Urig-gemütliche Atmosphäre und toller Service. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar und dennoch kreativ. Wir waren überrascht von der tollen Auswahl an diversen Steaks ( Onglet,Flst Iron Steak..etc).Wir entschieden uns für eine Bärlauchsuppe mit hausgebeiztem Kachstatar, das Onglet-Steak mit Rotweinzwiebeln und Pfeffersauce und zum Abschluss für die Dessertvariation. Der Service war unglaublich herzig und aufmerksam und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist angemessen. Wir haben das Essen und den Abend allgemein sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Da man gut draußen und drinnen Sitzen kann hat es schon mal Pluspunkte. Gute Karte mit sehr guter und feiner Auswahl,muss man probiert haben. Freundliche Bedienungen. Um die Sauberkeit sind Sie zumindest bemüht.

Une belle journée ensoleillée, une table bien mise et une équipe chapeauté par un chef hors du commun ! Sur les conseils du patron nous avons choisis une viande tendre à souhait, un plaisir pour le palais. Tout était parfait de l'entrée au plat en passant par le vin. War das 1. Mal hier. Habe den „Marktsalat“ bestellt f. ca. 17€. Optisch auf den 1. Blick sah es sehr gut aus. Der Geschmack des Dressings hat mich sofort an ein Fertigdressing erinnert welches im Supermarkt erhältlich ist, die Putenstücke fand ich leider auch nicht sonderlich gut. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre ist locker, gemütlich.

Sehr uriges Restaurant, klein aber fein. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, leider wenig Platz. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, dafür aber hervorragendes Essen. Insbesondere die Steaks sind sehr zu empfehlen. Dieses mal den Scheiterhaufen probiert. Der Garpunkt war perfekt getroffen, die Sauce gut abgestimmt. Ein wenig mehr Pommes wären auch ok gewesen, aber Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt soweit. Die Bedienungen haben sich freundlich und schnell um alle Anliegen gekümmert. So kommt man gerne wieder. Wichtig dabei ist jedoch vorab zu reservieren. Aufgrund der beschränkten Platzanzahl ist sonst kaum ein Platz zu ergattern.
