This was our first time eating at the food truck. We generally eat there every weekend. The ambiance is new and really lovely. Now, let's talk about the service. What really bothered me was the hectic, rushing pace of the staff as they ran past our table. Are you all in a hurry? I've never experienced anything like it, and it completely disrupted the atmosphere. Otherwise, the service was unobtrusive. The food was rather bland. I ordered pork tenderloin with Spätzle and salad. I specifically requested that the meat be cooked thoroughly when I ordered. The food arrived, and the meat was dark pink inside. Okay, that can happen. I politely told the server that I had specifically ordered it cooked thoroughly. Her response was, "Yes, but our chef always cooks it that way." My reply: "I'm certainly not eating it like that." So, I sent the meat back and left the Spätzle bowl untouched. I politely asked again if I should eat the Spätzle half-cold or if it would be possible to put them back in hot water once the meat was cooked. Hmm, the service desert that is Germany. In the end, the Spätzle were absolutely tasteless (probably they forgot the salt in the dough), the meat was relatively dry and slightly tough (a well-prepared fillet is tender and juicy), but the sauce was incredibly delicious. You have to pay at the counter, which is a complete no-go. I've never experienced anything like it before; okay, it's normal in kebab shops. We stood there for minutes, and nobody seemed to care, even though there were three people behind the counter. For a restaurant in this price range, I expect better service (in many restaurants, the server even comes to the table during the meal to ask if everything is alright, but not here), better food, and above all, payment at the table. It's also worth mentioning that the restaurant was only half full, and there were plenty of staff around. We definitely won't be coming back.

A truly cozy restaurant with a "day trip" feel, right on the Aacher and Fedbach Bridges. A beautiful interior, with a covered outdoor area! The menu is unparalleled in terms of offerings and price range (see photos)! First-class food quality, unbeatable value! A highly recommended, rustic restaurant with a reputation far beyond the region! Very friendly and fast service! The restaurant is also popular with hikers and cyclists! On the recommendation of the restaurant, we took a short hike up the Bienenbuckel (with a viewing platform) through the vineyards and along the beautiful wine trail, and then returned to the restaurant!

Very delicious food, with a nice selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Highly recommended!

Ein echter Geheimtipp! Urig, herzlich und fantastisches Essen Wir sind auf Empfehlung von Ortsansässigen im Restaurant des Hotels „Alte Zunft“ gelandet – und was für ein Glücksgriff! Atmosphäre & Service: Ein total schnuckliges, uriges Restaurant mit echter Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Man spürt sofort, dass das Haus mit Herzblut geführt wird (mittlerweile schon in 2. oder 3. Generation). Der Service war überragend freundlich und aufmerksam. Man merkt direkt, dass hier eingespieltes Stammpersonal mit Freude am Werk ist. Essen: Die Speisekarte bietet eine tolle Auswahl. Wir hatten als Vorspeise die Tapas-Platte – fantastisch angerichtet und geschmacklich absolut top! Auch alle weiteren Gerichte waren durchweg super lecker. Reservierungstipp: Wir hatten großes Glück, spontan noch einen Tisch für zwei Personen zu ergattern. Da es sehr gefragt ist, empfiehlt es sich definitiv, vorab kurz anzurufen oder zu reservieren – besonders, wenn man in einer größeren Gruppe unterwegs ist! Ein riesiges Dankeschön für den tollen Abend! Wenn wir wieder in der Ecke sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder. Eine absolute Empfehlung und definitiv einen Besuch wert!
