Wir kamen spontan zu diesem wunderbaren, im Wohngebiet und bei der Landesbibliothek liegendem Restaurant. Wir hatten zwar nicht reserviert, aber das war kein Problem. Man konnte bei gut 21 Grad abends noch schön draußen gemütlich sitzen. Das Team war sehr sehr nett und freundlich. Wir hatten Gemüsemaultaschen und Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat. Sehr zu empfehlen und ausgesprochen lecker. Alles handgemacht und mit Liebe garniert. Wir kommen gerne beim nächsten Besuch in Stuttgart wieder hier vorbei.

Very good food. Rustic atmosphere. Slightly unfriendly boss. The ladies absolutely cannot pour beer. No vegetarian dishes!

Wir waren zur Feier unserer Hochzeit dort und es war genau wie wir es gewollt hatten. Das Restaurant und die Aussicht über die Weinberge ist einmalig. Das Personal, wie immer, freundlich und hilfsbereit aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen ist der Hammer. Schwäbische Küche vom feinsten und Preis Leistung ist top. Es hat allen Gästen sehr gut geschmeckt und jeder ist satt geworden. Also alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen gern wieder.

While staying in Stuttgart with my boyfriend, we booked into this restaurant whose location in the heart of the vineyards immediately made us want it. Once we arrived, we were not disappointed by this incredible view of the vineyards imbued with autumn colors. The Rotenberger Weingärtle offers typical German dishes of excellent quality, with fresh products elegantly arranged on the plate. There is a wide choice of wine which is very nice to accompany the dishes. We opted for the Schwabenpfännle which brought together several specialties and for dessert we had a Kaiserschmarrn which was by far the best I tasted in Germany, with a homemade plum and thyme compote. I have no complaints about the service which was also impeccable. I will come back with pleasure!

On August 26, 2024, the “Zom Schiller” inn opened with a new team after an 8-month break. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the start of the new host. Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of the garbage cans behind the tap stand. The two waiters had no plan, but fought bravely against the chaos. The meal took an unusually long time and was just edible. The outside of the knuckle was burnt and very tough, the (very small) loin that was served with it came from a cooking bag. The fries with the schnitzel were as hard as plywood. There were also some long faces at the next tables. In general, everything seemed very uncoordinated and chaotic. It's a shame, we were hoping for a better start. There's still a lot of room for improvement here to even come close to reaching the level of the old core team. The kitchen also needs to be significantly better. Good luck! At some point we'll come back...

Primera noche en Stuttgart, a poca distancia de Pullman Fontana Hotel y tan contento de que confiamos en Trip Advisor para recomendar aquí! Nuestra dulce camarera Andrea encontró un asiento a pesar de no tener reservas. Luego se tomó el tiempo para ayudar a dos estadounidenses a elegir la cena. La ensalada mixta incluía verduras muy frescas, tomates y sorpresa de kraut encurtido y zanahorias. Vestirse era magnífico. La sopa de ternera con fideos panqueques era tan delicioso y luego llegó la cena! Hubby tenía Maultaschen geschmalzt (pasta rellena de carne) y ensalada de patatas y mi Schwabischer Lunsenteller (lentejas, salchichas, fideos) que completó esta fantástica experiencia. De alguna manera logramos terminar un increíble Apple Strudel. El chef salió y preguntó si todo estaba bien. ¡Oh, sí! ¡Felices americanos en Alemania! ¡Y ahora debemos regresar al hotel!
