Delicious and good home-style food. For a clubhouse it is very good and great atmosphere with the amore :) and the portions, at least the schnitzel, are really very large and the price is completely reasonable.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and everything looks very harmonious. The selection of food is sufficient. I myself had the Maultschen with potato salad and onions. They were very good. The staff is also very, very friendly and you feel welcome. We also went outside in the summer.

The food is ok. Also considering the price, it's difficult to understand the whispering when the numbers are announced. I only go there during the week, and when the weather is good, it's relatively quiet inside and people can sit outside. If there isn't enough going on, food is sometimes brought out. The clearing is rather intrusive. You're still eating when the young lady stops next to you and then takes the plate with you. Not that you have to run again. The little older Italian is particularly friendly to the guests.

At the entrance there was a board with the daily meal. We overlooked these and ordered from the menu. Unfortunately we were not made aware of the daily menu. As we were leaving the restaurant we discovered this card. There were four dishes on it. Three of them would have been in our selection to order.

Unfortunately you have to go to the counter and place your order yourself. The service staff are not to blame for the poor service rating, but rather the fact that you have to leave the table for every product and order at the counter.

Very large portions proposed in this restaurant located almost in the forest. We had à Great dîner and good time there. Staff was friendly. The food was not the finest food ever but it hit the spot.

Lots of space - especially outside with a large playground for the children, nice, fast team, good and plentiful food - mostly self-service, which usually works great. Unfortunately, there is also a "fixed fee for changes", which sometimes has a strange effect when you have an extra 2.50 euros on the bill for cream instead of gravy on the children's spaetzle...

So here the price/performance ratio is just right and you will receive a very friendly welcome and farewell! You'll be happy to come back there.

Fresh, tasty, uncomplicated, inexpensive!

Went there for the first time today, stopped by by chance. Access to the car park today is quite narrow and busy, probably because of a sporting event (clubhouse). The reception (you are seated) by “Amore” (boss?) was very exuberant, but not unpleasant. The system explained to us: choose your dish from the menu and order at the checkout, where you also have to pay for the drinks from the self-service. You receive a receipt for the food and the order number is announced over the loudspeaker when it is ready for collection. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the impression that it was quite loud inside (little soundproofing?). There are some sheltered places outside under a pergola, and many more in the garden. We found it unpleasant that the tables were too high in relation to the (quite comfortable) garden chairs. The chairs sink a little into the gravel floor. Outside there is a larger playground for kids with a sandpit, slide and swings etc. We thought it was good that there were comparatively few dishes on the menu. These dishes are supplemented by around 5 daily specials. According to “Amore”, the dishes on the menu change every 3 months. We had Maultaschen with potato salad including a small side salad - tasted good, decent portion, freshly prepared. We paid around €40 for the food and two drinks (Radler 0.5 liter bottle). Okay for us. If we could suggest an improvement, it would be to replace the loudspeaker announcements of food to be picked up with pagers. The announcements are sometimes very difficult to understand, especially when you are having a lively conversation... The glasses and plates are cleared away by restaurant employees, but it can take a while. In view of the omnipresent staff shortage, it is a bearable circumstance for us. We'll definitely come back.

Maultaschen und Bratwürste haben seit geraumer Zeit deutlich in Geschmack und Qualität nachgelassen und sind nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Dafür haben die Preise aller Speisen und Getränke deutlich angezogen. Früher war das Lokal ein Hort guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses - das ist vorbei. Im Außenbereich stehen die Tische und Stühle auf grobem Schotter ! Man kommt sich vor wie auf einem Güterbahnhof - bei Hitze heizt sich das Schotterbett zudem stark auf - sehr unangenehm.

The food was good, but the waiter "Amore" was super pushy. He gave us schnapps without asking, which was probably well-intentioned, but was completely wrong for 3 women, even though you then have to explain why you aren't allowed to drink alcohol for health reasons. Even after that, he sat down at our table three times and chatted away so that we couldn't talk anymore. That didn't work at all and bordered on harassment. It's a real shame for the rest of the team, but we'll never come back... I paid in haste.

The food was good. But the dessert (apple cake & brownie) is not recommended in our opinion. The food, drink and desserts cost us around €70. I definitely recommend the restaurant for good food and good ambience :)

Great energy on a beautiful Saturday afternoon/evening! Very popular and once you spend some time here you understand why. I walked here via a trail in the woods but there’s ample parking. Comfortable seating inside or outside, but everyone was outdoors on this lovely Saturday in June. The kids have plenty of areas to play, including a playground and some local sport club fields. The food is authentic and delicious as well as reasonably priced. Drink options are vast, although the bier vom fass choices were weak. Seems every restaurant in the area is sponsored by either Schwabenbrau or Stuttgarter Hofbrau. Wish Rothaus had a stronger presence in Stuttgart. Anyway, the owner is active and friendly and the staff are great. You really can’t go wrong here!

At the end of March we celebrated my husband's 70th birthday. After prior consultation, our expectations were exceeded: all wishes were addressed and implemented and the adjoining rooms that we occupied were beautifully decorated and well furnished. There were enough child seats for the little ones and the dogs were also taken into consideration. The food - we ordered a buffet - was very tasty and plentiful. Our “supervisors”, i.e. service staff, were very attentive and quick. Our whole celebration was so successful that we look back on it very fondly. Some of our friends have already returned there. The enthusiasm is generally great! Thanks again to the whole team. We can only recommend Weitmann.

We were there for the first time today. Nice restaurant and a great playground, our 2 year old son was in seventh heaven. Prices absolutely fair. 1 star deduction because: -French fries for the child took quite a long time, but unfortunately they were still raw inside. -Parking spaces available but in good weather (like today) it can be tight -Self-service food (absolutely okay for us): unfortunately you sometimes don't understand the loudspeakers with the number very well. E.g. vibrating beepers would be better

A self-service restaurant with a great beer garden. Unfortunately the knives were a bit blunt so I couldn't cut my schnitzel properly. The potato salad was very tasty. Unfortunately the roast was a bit tough. I think it's a shame that you have to pay 1.5 euros if you want e.g. spaetzle instead of fries. The table decorations and other facilities are very nice. Unfortunately we didn't really like the dessert. The apple fritters were too dark. Nevertheless, we would like to come back.

Everything is right here, even for families. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the special ambience; the decoration has been lovingly selected and arranged. As soon as you enter the dining room, you are greeted with a smile by the employees. The food is rich and tastes on point. The menu ranges from cheese spaetzle, schnitzel and cordon bleu to onion roast. Everyone will definitely find something here. To top it all off, there is also coffee and tea, which you can enjoy on the outdoor terrace when the weather is nice (as well as the food). Unfortunately, it's no longer a given these days: families are welcome here. Behind the restaurant there is a great playground with climbing frames, Bonby Cars when the weather is good, a sandpit,... Thanks to the creators! Conclusion: The great staff, the very good food and the great ambience ensure that I will happily come back.

It's not exactly your typical restaurant, but it's a perfect place to eat, especially if you're going with kids. The waiters do not come to the table, it is self service, but the owner personally receives and greets all customers, and explains how the restaurant works if they have never been. The selection on the menu is limited, mainly traditional mild food, but it is delicious. The swings for the children are spectacular for a restaurant.

A very very nice place. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was simply homely. You come in and are greeted very friendly and explained straight away how it works... Service staff repeatedly come to the table to inquire whether everything is OK, but without seeming intrusive. All in all, it's one of the best places we've visited. Eine wunderbare Entdeckung auf unserer Wanderung vom Schloss Solitude zum Stuttgarter Feuersee. Eigentlich wollten wir nur mal ganz kurz reingucken - aber dann hat uns "Amore" so freundlich begrüßt und uns sein Gaststätte gezeigt, dass wir unsere Vesperbrote spontan im Rucksack gelassen haben. Danke für guten Service, leckeres Essen, gute Organisation und für den angekündigten Schnaps, wenn wir wiederkommen!

To put it in Swabian terms: it wasn't that bad! The Cordon Bleu was excellent, the meat was absolutely perfect: well done, but still wonderfully juicy. The breading was obviously homemade, much better than the industrial mash that is common everywhere today. The boss bustles around the restaurant all the time and takes care of things! It couldn't be better!

Unique service in the name "Amore" - where Amore can stand for every guest, waiter and person in this store. The real "Amore", however, is absolutely unique and its type has become a rarity in Stuttgart's gastronomy. The shop is quickly converted to accommodate 12 guests on what is already a very busy holiday. The food is also very tasty! ❤️

Wir waren schon öfter im Waldhaus zum Essen und meistens auch sehr zufrieden. Jetzt hatten wir u.a. einen Rostbraten bestellt und waren sprachlos, als der Teller kam. Das Thema Preiserhöhung ist ja in aller Munde, wenn aber gleichzeitig die Portionen noch kleiner werden, ist das mehr als grenzwertig. Für 28.90€ gab es ein kleines Stück Fleisch mit einem Berg Zwiebeln darauf. Leider durchzog auch noch eine Sehne das Fleisch. Gute Qualität sieht anders aus. Nach dieser Erfahrungen kann ich den Rostbraten nur eingeschränkt empfehlen.

Das ganze Ambiente wird erst so richtig rund mit der Fürsorge durch Amore… Seine herzliche Art, die Gäste zu betreuen und sich mit kleinen Gesten um deren Wohl zu kümmern, runden das Erlebnis dort Gast zu sein, vollends ab. I have found my favorite Swabian cuisine restaurant! Every bite was flavorful, the portions generous, a fantastic atmosphere where people were enjoying their food and drinks after being greeted by the restaurant owner. It is a form of self-service restaurant, which enables it to sell at prices any money-conscious Swabian would approve. The food served there is created with the best preparation. I would happily recommend the Ente Brust, beautifully grilled with salt crystals that explode in your mouth, accompanied with Apfel Rot Kraut, sweet and vinegary, I cannot remember such a nicely prepared one, and delicious almond balls, all combined in a dish that will keep you happy for the rest of the day! The restaurant is towards the outside of Stuttgart; however, it is well worth the visit to get an authentic taste of how good Swabian cuisine can be!

Old fashioned Einrichtung... Aber das Essen ist richtig gut. Bürgerlich aber pfiffig gemacht. Sehr freundliche Bedienungen und Chef hält die Gäste bei Laune. Ein Lokal, dass definitiv einen Besuch lohnt!

Wir hatten einen herrlichen Nachmittag vor Ort und haben mit Amore 😘 in bester Gesellschaft gegessen und getrunken. Das Essen war sehr lecker, kam super schnell, sehr gute Qualität und ein sensationelles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir hatten das cordonbleu, sehr lecker und mehr als genug. Der Service ist top, das Personal ist freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Und das Wichtigste, sie haben gute Laune. Das Highlight ist amore als Herr des Hauses, ein wirkliches Unikat, das gute Laune, ein großes Herz und hohen Unterhaltungswert hat. Man verlässt das Lokal mit guter Laune und denkt noch lange daran. Danke dir Amore und wir kommen wieder. Bleibt - Du und Dein Team - so wir ihr seid. Das Waldhaus ist nett eingerichtet und hat eine heimelige Atmosphäre, es lebt aber dank des Teams.

In grossen Abständen kommen wir als Stuttgarter immer wieder in dieses Lokal im Rahmen von Freizeitgestaltungen in der Umgebung, hatten auch schon Feiern dort mit wirklich grossem Umsatz. Was mir jedoch absolut nicht gefallen hat und keinerlei Verständnis findet: dass bei einer Beilagenänderung ein Aufschlag erfolgt! Nicht etwa, dass man eine unübliche nicht auf der Karte sowieso erscheinende Beilage umdisponieren möchte, sondern in meinem Falle sogar nur das weglassen der Pommes auf meinem bestellten Schnitzel,dafür den sowieso zu diesem Essen gehörenden Salat etwas grösser gestalten! Trotz meiner mehr wie erstaunten Nachfrage über diesen Tatbestand, wertete man das als Umbestellung und ich musste einen Mehrpreis bezahlen! Ein äusserst den Gast "AUSNEHMENDER " Vorgang mit keinerlei Respekt einem bezahlenden Kunden gegenüber! Sehr sehr selten erlebt man ein solches abzockendes Verhalten in einem Lokal,das auch von den Gästen an meinem Tisch derart gewertet wurde. Da lobe ich mir die Restaurants, die freie Beilagenwahl im Rahmen der Angebote offerieren bzw - was selbstverständlich sein sollte - ein unproblematisches umbestellen selbstverständlich sehen - was eigentlich die Regel ist! Arrogant geworden ? Vorsicht : das Blatt könnte sich wenden trotz sehr schön gestaltetem Aussenbereich!
