Weinstube Mögle in Stuttgart

The decor is rustic and quaint, and the service was fast and friendly. The food was outstanding. Whether it was Maultaschensuppe (swabian ravioli soup), veal schnitzel, roast beef with onions, or the Apfelküchle (apple fritters with vanilla sauce), everything was absolutely delicious. Excellent quality. We'd love to come back on our next visit to Stuttgart.

A very nice, traditional Swabian restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and great staff. Based on a friend's recommendation, I reserved a table at this charming restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a roast beef with onions and cheese spaetzle. The roast beef was perfectly medium and of very high quality. The meat was what you'd expect from an upscale steakhouse. The cheese spaetzle was wonderfully creamy. The others were also very impressed with their dishes.

The Weinstube Mögle offers regional cuisine of the best quality. The menu with typical Swabian dishes is small - but the quality is in every detail. Even inconspicuous side dishes are apparently only made with the best ingredients - the potato salad side dish, for example, had: B. a clear taste of real beef broth. The onion roast, which has already been praised many times by other testers, was incredibly tender with an excellent sauce that was definitely homemade. Although I wasn't asked what it should be like, it was actually exactly how I like it (medium). The service was quick and friendly. So from my side there is absolutely nothing to complain about - completely untypical for what is usually said about the Swabians. I'd love to come back.

I was invited to Mögle yesterday and was unfortunately very disappointed. The food was very tasty and everything was relaxed until a larger group arrived - I would like to add that we were really nice guests and everyone else except me, who comes from Sigmaringen, are all locals and also frequent guests. When asked a nice question - we would like something more to drink - the "service person" lost the necessary politeness and also the appropriate volume. When she was asked the next normal question about the dessert menu, she felt personally attacked...even if she was stressed and perhaps a little overwhelmed - every guest deserves a level of professionalism, decency and politeness. Because I have been working as a waiter in the catering industry for 31 years and have worked in the same restaurant for the last twenty years I am no stranger to the lack of staff and stressful guests. But I have never experienced anything like that and there is no excuse for the behavior. I only feel sorry for my dear friends, who always go through life politely and with a lot of understanding for everything and everyone and who are treated with so little appreciation - unfortunately also by the boss. The next dinner together will be in another restaurant where I no longer want to be treated like that.

Yesterday evening we were guests at the Weinstube Mögle and enjoyed the excellent food and the extraordinary hospitality of the Eichhorn family. Of course we are really looking forward to the next visit.

Mir fehlen die Worte!!!Heute Abend zum Essen mit Freunden,wie seit Jahren immer wieder zu Geburtstagen und Gansessen.Essen immer super,Bedienungen immer freundlich.Aber heute...mir fehlen die Worte.Bedienung überfordert,verständlich...Lokal gut besucht.Wir wollten noch was bestellen..kam schon eine pampige Antwort.Mussten dann noch ewig warten .Bedienung immer noch unfreundlich.Gastgeberin hat sich beim Holger beschwert...Antwort war...Sie müssen ja nicht kommen,wenn man mit der Bedienung nicht zu frieden ist.Er steht hinter seinem Personal.So eine unverschämte Bedienung haben wir noch nie erlebt.Wir werden nicht mehr dieses Lokal betreten.

We once had roast beef with spaetzle and once we had pork loin in chanterelle cream sauce. Both dishes were first class. The meat, both from the roast and the loins, was of the best quality and excellently prepared. The salad was extremely fresh and the dressing was first class. What is particularly noteworthy is that the first-class potato salad is served in a separate bowl so that it does not mix with the other salt dressing. Wow, we've never had that before. We would particularly like to highlight the top service, attentive and extremely courteous at all times, despite the restaurant being full. All in all an enjoyable evening in a tavern like something out of a picture book (of old times), suitable for the senior audience: lots of wood, old furniture, old decorations - that's where you become historically romantic... The cuisine is classic Swabian, everything is delicious and fresh, always at a high level: it couldn't be better. So you come to eat, but you're happy to stay a quarter longer because the service is friendly and on the ball.

Today we were at a small celebration in the wine bar. Food was great and authentic, the only waitress did a great job with dedication and friendliness. Don't pay for the ambience. It doesn't matter at all that the toilets are from the 60s. It has to be that way! I hope that such quaint establishments don't fall victim to modernization madness at some point or that the innkeepers don't have to give up! Good luck for continued success!

Wir waren heute bei einer kleinen Feier in der Weinstube. Essen war toll und authentisch, die einzige Bedienung hat ihre Aufgabe mit Hingabe und Freundlichkeit super gemeistert. Ambiente nicht zu bezahlen. Da ist es auch vollkommen wurscht, dass die WCs aus den 60igern stammen. Das muss so sein! Ich hoffe, dass solche urigen Wirtschaften nicht irgendwann dem Modernisierungswahn zum Opfer fallen, oder die Wirtsleute aufgeben müssen! Viel Erfolg weiterhin!

Holger Eichhorn prepares one of the best roasts in Stuttgart and also other Swabian cuisine at its best: simple, tasty and the best ingredients. Ambience cozy and simple (wine bar), service ok, toilets could be renovated, but since I prefer to go there to eat, 5 stars anyway. ;-) Never been disappointed so far. Relatively small menu with special menus adapted to the season.

Rustic atmosphere, small, cozy restaurant. Super delicious, home-made German home-style food as you would imagine. Grandma and Grandpa also enjoy it here! You should definitely make a reservation as it is not very big.

Einfach nur lecker schwäbisch essen. Vom Kartoffelsalat bis zum Rostbraten und anderen Gerichten die der Schwabe so liebt ist alles auf der Speisekarte. Und dies in einer urigen Umgebung.

Uriges Ambiente mit immer freundlicher Bedienung und typisch schwäbischen Gerichten in top Qualität und fairen Preisen für die Qualität der Gerichte und der verwendeten Lebensmitteln.

Bislang noch nie was zu meckern gehabt. Der Service ist immer freundlich und meistens sehr zügig. Das Essen schmeckt immer, am liebsten esse ich hier den Zwiebelrostbraten. Die Einrichtung ist urig...

Hätte nicht gedacht, dass es noch so ein gutes schwäbisches Restaurant gibt! Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und schlicht, sodass man sich ganz auf das Essen konzentrieren kann - und das ist einfach sehr gut und ohne Schnickschnack, wie in Kindertagen. Ausgezeichnetes Fleisch (das Ochsenfleisch zergeht auf der Zunge!), leckerer Salat, reichlich portioniert - alles top, auch die freundliche Bedienung. Gerne kommen wir wieder, auch mit Besuch, um diesem zu zeigen, wie authentische schwäbische Küche geht.

Ένα εξαιρετικό μαγαζί για παραδοσιακή γερμανική τοπική κουζίνα. Τα πιάτα ήταν όλα υπέροχα και η ατμόσφαιρα πολύ ζεστή. Η εξυπηρέτηση εξαιρετικά φιλική, γρήγορα νιώθεις πως γευματίζεις στο σπίτι κάποιου φίλου και όχι σε ένα εστιατόριο. Με προθυμία μας εξήγησε η υπεύθυνη για τα πιάτα και μοιράστηκε και πληροφορίες για την "μυστική" συνταγή μιας σάλτσας 😉🤫 Οι τιμές για αυτό που προσφέρουν είναι καλές. Μπράβο γιατί πραγματικά το αξίζουν.

Sehr urig und schon ewig eine Anlaufstelle für gute deutsche Küche, wirklich sehr gutes Essen und gut organisierte Mitarbeiter. Muss man allerdings lange vorher reservieren.

Wir haben nach einer Weinwanderung noch im Mögle reserviert. Es hat alles gut geklappt. Das Essen war gut und ausreichend. Gemütlichkeit mit netter Bedienung. Alles etwas "oldshool", was uns 50+ sehr gefallen hat. Hätten nicht gedacht ,dass es sowas noch im Stgter Einzugsgebiet gibt. Sehr gut, weiter so ! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Essen war gut und lecker. Es war etwas laut da auch recht voll aber ok.

Der Rostbraten war, wie immer, sehr gut!

Wir kommen ab und zu ins Mögle - meist zum Rostbraten-Essen, der auch mit Beilagen sehr gut ist. Dieses Mal haben wir uns für ein Gansessen entschieden. Der Salat vorab mit Kartoffelsalat war gut - die Beilagen wie Blaukraut und Knödel waren ok, die Gans war nicht ok... trocken, nicht knusprig, zäh und unfachmännisch zerlegt - und geschmeckt hat sie uns überhaupt nicht! Schade - zum Gansessen werden wir nicht mehr kommen , da auch der Preis dafür nicht gerechtfertigt ist.

Holger hat's einfach drauf...und die Krönung für mich sein Kartoffelsalat ,Soßen und Dessings....einfach rundum perfekt

Mi hijo y mis dos nietos hicieron una gira "hombre" durante una semana. Cenamos nuestra cena en este entorno familiar de Weinstube Moegle. Nos hicieron sentir totalmente relajados y como en casa. Ayudaron con el menú. Los cuatro pedimos diferentes comidas. La cerveza fue maravillosa. La comida era auténtica. Nos reímos y quedamos totalmente satisfechos. Espero algún día volver a visitar!
