Weinberg-Restaurant in Stuttgart

Yesterday the worm was in there. Were yelled at by the waiter. The place should be allocated to us. Then for 2 cups of coffee and 2 pieces of cake 18 euros. The waiter advised against “Hag” coffee because it would taste bad. Sure, the restaurant has its costs, but at some point the pleasure becomes too expensive. Previous visit 2 x lentils and spaetzle, 2 small drinks 42 euros. In the catering industry you can feel the galloping inflation on the first. Service only 2 points. Visit 5 weeks ago, I wrote: Great restaurant with wonderful Swabian dishes and unusual drinks such as quince or dandelion spritzer. Lentils and spaetzle were very good, the other dishes and the salad were also wonderful. Service very good. Very well attended. Reservation recommended. Locally cozy. Beautiful view all around, located directly on Württemberg. Next time I'll order an onion roast.

Disappointing. I had high expectations based on the Google reviews, but I was very disappointed. The waitress didn't really seem interested when we arrived and it took a long time before we could order drinks. The restaurant was still empty at this point. The food was lukewarm. The pork cheeks were good. Spätzle, Kässpätzle and potato salad were a bit tasteless. We had four different dishes. None came out hot. The Kaiserschmarrn also came almost cold. Maybe we just had a bad day but I don't know if I would come back.

Great restaurant with a Swabian menu. We got a place in the winter garden, where it was pleasantly warm even in winter and there was a great atmosphere. The cheese spaetzle was very tasty, as was the mixed platter with meat and Maultaschen. We were also absolutely impressed by the Kaiserschmarren for dessert. The staff was very friendly and we even got a surprise to toast because we were celebrating a birthday there. :)

A beautiful restaurant in Stuttgart, in the middle of vineyards. The food is very well cooked, the Schnitzel magnificent. The deer was nicely done, and the Spätzle matched perfectly. The restaurant is very Kids friendly, with a special menu just for kids, they bring it earlier and deliver some drawing utensils. The service is good, but not professional. The prices are very fair.

Location with a top view. But that’s it! It's a shame, I was used to better food. You are told by the host that less food is served (senior portion) so you want to throw away less, okay! Very sustainable! However, the prices did not turn out to be to the customer's advantage. Nothing changed... the food wasn't great! Spaetzle overcooked, sauce over salted, schnitzel thin as a cardboard box. Too bad! We won't eat there anymore.

Everything was great! A few steps from the restaurant you have a very nice view over Stuttgart! The food was extremely tasty and there was nothing missing, except perhaps that the Flädlesuppe as a starter and the Maultaschen with potato salad as the main course couldn't fill me up 100%.

I really liked everything! The Rotenberg is really great! Just small points: Unfortunately you can't see the drinks menu on the website. Maybe you can put the potato salad in a separate bowl with the schnitzel so that it doesn't get out of the breadcrumbs.

While staying in Stuttgart with my boyfriend, we booked into this restaurant whose location in the heart of the vineyards immediately made us want it. Once we arrived, we were not disappointed by this incredible view of the vineyards imbued with autumn colors. The Rotenberger Weingärtle offers typical German dishes of excellent quality, with fresh products elegantly arranged on the plate. There is a wide choice of wine which is very nice to accompany the dishes. We opted for the Schwabenpfännle which brought together several specialties and for dessert we had a Kaiserschmarrn which was by far the best I tasted in Germany, with a homemade plum and thyme compote. I have no complaints about the service which was also impeccable. I will come back with pleasure!

There were four of us having dinner. Nothing works here without a reservation! The food was extremely tasty and the prices were high. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, although it was a bit hectic, but that was due to our table right at the entrance. Gladly again.

From the winery you have a really beautiful view, which is impressive even in the dark. Without a reservation, we were able to get a table and choose the wine that suited us from the wine selection. It has a rustic design and, thanks to the patio heaters, can easily withstand colder temperatures even in the winter garden. We ordered a Kaiserschmarrn, which was served with plums and cream. A real insider tip, the Kaiserschmarrn is one of the tastiest I've ever eaten. Paying by card wasn't a problem, the value for money for the great view was also okay.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time! Fantastic Viennese schnitzel with potato and cucumber salad, pork cheeks, homemade spaetzle etc. Great service, super friendly and cheerful staff despite being busy. Great location, we'll be back very soon.

The risotto, the spaetzle and the shredded beef were a dream! The baked potato was rather poor. We had to wait a long time for the second course and our coffee was forgotten. The service pwrsonak was very nice and friendly! Carving pumpkins for Halloween is a great idea!!! A great place!

As visitors to the Südback trade fair, we were looking for a restaurant that offered regional cuisine to end the day. In large groups of around 15 people or more, there is a card with fewer options. The service was very interesting because we arrived in a group of 18 people and we were divided into three tables. The service wasn't that good because the first two tables had already ordered and the third table always had to wait a little longer than 10 minutes for them would order or be served.

A restaurant with that certain something! Not only the view and the ambience, but also the service and food are excellent. Delicious and traditional local cuisine is complemented by seasonal specialties. The staff is competent and obviously enjoys their job. Absolutely recommended! Because of the large crowds, be sure to make a reservation - which, by the way, works perfectly!

I booked this restaurant in a vineyard above Stuttgart to celebrate my mother's birthday with friends. Everything was great... the ambiance, home-made, very tasty dishes, wine and dessert. I think I'll drop by next time I'm in Stuttgart.

The restaurant was very full and we arrived before the reserved time. Nevertheless, a place was quickly found for us. Very friendly staff and delicious food. A successful evening. Only the heaters in the winter garden weren't that great - either on (= very hot) or off (= very cool). But it was just a detail. No reason not to come back! I would like to visit the restaurant once a day to enjoy the view.

Sensational food In the Rotenberger Weingärtle you know how Swabian food is cooked: The Schwabepfännle is ideally balanced with every component - from the perfectly cooked carrots to the Kässpätzle to the Maultaschen and pork cheeks - everything is very well seasoned and brought to the point. The kitchen here knows exactly what they are doing. There is also a delicious selection of wines and very friendly and humorous staff, although the house is still completely full. We were there on a Wednesday around 8pm and it was packed. Luckily we had a reservation, which is really necessary. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the food was great and, if it hadn't already been dark, the view of the vineyards, Uhlbach and the surrounding area. I had 2 very thin and crispy schnitzels and a delicious potato cucumber salad.

We were there to celebrate our wedding and it was exactly how we wanted it. The restaurant and the view over the vineyards are unique. The staff, as always, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The food is awesome. Swabian cuisine at its finest and price performance is top. All guests enjoyed it very much and everyone was full. So all in all we highly recommend it and we would be happy to come back.

Yesterday was the first and certainly not the last time in the Weingärtle! With a little help from my charming Swabian, we spontaneously got a table - but as a normal person, I would recommend reserving something in advance! For dinner I had a salad, Maultaschen soup and as a main course the onion roast with spaetzle with a super delicious sauce. Plus a light beer from the ice-cold stone mug – mega! In short: I had nothing to complain about, not everyone can do that! Everything is top notch and the service is also excellent. The nightcap with the special vintage rounded the whole thing off perfectly. Thank you very much for that and see you soon!

There were huge portions: grilled black sausage so only eaten if you were really hungry; Lentils with spaetzle and strings very tasty. Prices reasonable.

We ate there together on Sunday and were delighted with the lovely selection of honest Swabian food. The service is excellent and the ambience is beautiful, especially with the view of the grave chapel. The food was also consistently delicious except for the meat, which, although it was still pink on the inside, was already very firm and dry. The salad was crisp, the spaetzle and the sauces were excellent. All in all we were very satisfied, but I wouldn't order beef here again.

An insider tip for wine lovers and connoisseurs!

It was a very nice experience to eat there. We had previously announced by phone that we would be arriving a little later, but that we would need our food quickly as we were going to the scorpions concert straight afterwards. When we were there we were warmly welcomed and our food was taken straight away. Our food came incredibly quickly and they took special care of us the whole time we were there. It was the best schnitzel I've ever eaten. You can't get enough of the view. To everyone: please eat there, it's worth it!!

Great restaurant, I particularly recommend the boudin which doesn't look like much on the menu but it's amazing! All meats are excellently cooked with sauces and accompaniments. The service is top notch and gives very good wine advice. If possible, ask for the terrace to enjoy the panorama.
