We're incredibly lucky to have a restaurant like this in our neighborhood! The family owners are super friendly, and you can tell they run the place with passion. They serve hearty, mostly Swabian home-style cooking. Whether you're relaxing in the cozy beer garden in the summer or inside to watch football or play darts, you'll find something to suit your taste. They also serve Altbier—a true rarity in Stuttgart (please keep it 😛)

We were there at short notice and didn't regret it. The service was friendly, the food was tasty, plentiful, and served quickly. We ate outside because the weather was nice...

The food and staff are truly top-notch, and the atmosphere is also fantastic; I feel very welcome. The schnitzel is the best in all of Germany (I've eaten a lot of schnitzel).

The bosses, Tommy and Bianca, are great, and so are the employees, they have good food and there is also a beer garden. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was great. Good, home-style cooking. The restaurant is showing its age, but it still has its charm. The waiters are attentive, and the food was good. I wouldn't want to sit in the smoking area, but there's another area. We were there during a VFB game. It was fun; everyone was immediately really nice. We'll be back.

Inexpensive, good middle-class restaurant, small beer garden that has now been spruced up, quietly located on a green street, schnitzels are freshly made and tasted delicious, as did the French fries and the fresh salad. A little too salty for us as we tend to eat low salt, but it will be okay for most people. All in all, we were quite satisfied, especially since the innkeeper couple are very friendly.

It feels like coming home 🫶🏼 There is simply the best sausage salad here 🥰 we have almost eaten the entire menu, every single dish was simply delicious 🤤 🤌🏼. We really enjoy coming and are looking forward to sitting in the beer garden again soon.

5 Sterne reichen für Bianca und Tommy, den Inhabern, fast nicht aus. Ich bin im Nachbarhaus aufgewachsen, habe meine Kindheit vor der Kneipe in der Spielstraße erlebt. Nun bin ich nur noch selten dort...und dennoch ist es immer wieder wie nach Hause kommen. Solche kleinen Eck-Kneipen, da wird eben nicht nur Bier getrunken. Das Hohenstaufen kümmert sich um alle Anliegen in der Nachbarschaft, nimmt Pakete entgegen, hört zu. Es gibt auch immer jemand zum Quatschen unter den Gästen, sollte man alleine kommen oder Lust auf neue Kontakte haben. Das Essen ist portionsmäßig auf echte Schaffer ausgelegt- reichlich, schwäbisch und lecker. Besonders schön ist es auch im Sommer. Draußen sitzen, Publik-Viewing beim Fußball, Austausch. Neu-Seelberger sollten unbedingt mal vorbei schauen. Die Urgesteine trifft man dort :-)

Ausgesprochen freundliche, gemütliche und bodenständige Kneipe ohne Allüren, wie es sie in Stuttgart zu wenig gibt. Leckeres Essen, zu empfehlen vor allem das Schnitzel. Essen und auch die Getränke zu sehr fairen Preisen. Besonders im Sommer zu empfehlen mit dem Biergarten.
