Christophorus in Stuttgart

I had high expectations for Christophorus, especially as a Porsche owner, but my experience was disappointing. I went with my girlfriend for her birthday, hoping to make it special. When I asked about a birthday cake, I was told it was not possible, which felt surprising for a restaurant of this level. The service and atmosphere did not match the price point (about €100 for the meal). Instead of feeling like a celebration, the evening felt transactional and uncomfortable. Overall, it was a “don’t meet your heroes” moment. I expected a premium experience that reflected the Porsche brand, but sadly it fell short.

A great menu with matching wines and excellent service. We will be happy to visit the restaurant again.

The visit to Christophorus was a completely successful experience for us. First the impressive Porsche Museum, then a stylish evening in the restaurant – a great combination! We enjoyed the 9 course menu. Everything was very elegantly arranged, the ambience seemed elegant and modern. The service is particularly noteworthy: the waiters were extremely attentive and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable - that really made the evening special. When it comes to taste, a lot of it is of course subjective, but anyone who is open to new culinary impressions should definitely try it out. For us it was a lovely evening that we will fondly remember.

Restaurant Christophorus – culinary delights at the highest level An evening at Christophorus is an experience for all the senses. The artistic greeting from the kitchen set the tone for an exquisite menu. The filet mignon with Béarnaise sauce was of outstanding quality, perfectly prepared and harmoniously complemented by crispy fries and fresh market vegetables. The stylish, quiet ambience with a view of iconic Porsche vehicles gives the restaurant a special touch. A small suggestion for improvement: The butter could be a little softer before serving. But overall a first-class culinary experience that will undoubtedly keep me coming back.

It was our first time at Restaurant Christophorus and we absolutely loved it! Our beautiful window seat with a view of the Porsche roundabout was a real highlight. Wir haben ein Abendessen im Christpherus reserviert und sind aus terminlichen Gründen etwas zu spät zum Reservierungstermin gekommen. Nachdem wir in der Reservierung extra zum Ausdruck gebracht haben gerne am Fenster zu sitzen, wurden wir bewusst nicht am Fenster platziert obwohl ein Tisch am Fenster der ganze Abend frei war, mit der Begründung das dieser nicht mehr eingedeckt wird, und mehrfach aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir ja zu spät gekommen sind. Ebenfalls wurden wir aufmerksam gemacht, die Reservierung wäre ja sehr aktuell (war ein Tag vorher) und dafür gibt es keine Fensterplätze. Ich habe persönlich noch nie bei einem so hochpreisigen Restaurant einen so arroganten und überheblichen Empfang vom Restaurantleiter erhalten wie im Christophorus und kann daher das Restaurant absolut nicht weiterempfehlen.

We were warmly welcomed and the waiters are very attentive and competent. The food was on point and just bombastic. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and received a sweet little greeting from the kitchen. We'd love to come back!

My wife and I wanted to have a glass of wine or a small beer. We were asked to leave with the words that we don't drink here, only eat. I thought that in a restaurant you could only drink wine. Unfortunately not in Christophorus.

The Christophorus in the Porsche Museum leaves nothing to be desired. The service is second to none, the location is hard to beat and the food and menus on offer are hard to beat.

The Christopherus was really great the other day when we were there. Every single dish was excellent. We had two different steaks and different side dishes. Plus a Pinot Gris and a glass of champagne. Service was also very attentive and friendly. Really exceptionally good! We'll be back 👌

Both the food and especially the service were terrific! I have never been guided through a dinner so quickly, but always in a friendly, relaxed and unobtrusive manner. We have been to Christopherus several times. Unfortunately this time it didn't live up to our expectations. The filet mignon was nothing, unfortunately just an average fillet of beef that was tender, but nowhere near the standard you would expect here. But the worst part was the men's room. The cabins looked like a train station toilet. The toilets were extremely dirty with feces. This should really be checked before the restaurant opens. That was the last time for us Christopherus…. ,

The food here was incredible. Each dish was so good, it didn’t matter what I ordered. The food was creative and amazing. The staff was so friendly and kind and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I loved the decor and all the little touches to Porsche.

Ended up taking my wife for lunch here and I will say hands down some of the best food and service I have ever experienced in my life you will not be disappointed at all. Also be prepared to pay but its well worth it.

Porche, you pay for the name, but that is not possible with food. Receive was fine and regular waiter 100%. The other one ruined it a bit by presenting the food on the table at too fast a pace without explaining what it was. The female vinologist, on the other hand, used her knowledge to make the accompanying wines even tastier than they already were. The cars are beautiful and worth the price, the food is "overpriced", the dessert had the most taste and that says enough.

Das Christophorus ist eines unserer ersten Adressen, wenn es um gutes Essen mit gutem Service geht. Leider bekommt man kaum einen Tisch, weshalb wir nicht allzu oft dort sind. Aber vielleicht ist das ja auch kein Fehler, denn so ist die Kulinarik nicht zu inflationär. Vor allem die Steaks sind ohne Zweifel erhaben. Deshalb von uns den Daumen hoch!

Eigentlich braucht man über das Restaurant Christophorus nicht viele Worte verlieren. Der Service ist meilenweit über dem Durchschnitt, gleiches trifft auf die Küche und die Weinauswahl zu. Die Steaks sind prima, ebenso das Abendmenu, das sehr abwechslungsreich ist. Alle Speisen sind ein Augen- und Gaumenschmaus. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

This restaurant is located on the top floor of the Porsche museum in Stuttgart. It beats the museum by far. It is expensive but very good quality. Food is well prepared and served. Service was perfect. All in all a very good business lunch.

We had a great and special evening, the first visit was outstanding from start to finish. The filet mignon medium rare was an absolute dream with delicious side dishes. The tagliatelle with parmesan and truffles as a starter were very tasty, as was the dessert. The service was great and incredibly attentive throughout the evening. It's worth treating yourself to something like this :-)

Ein top Restaurant mitten im Porsche Motorsport Herz. Aussicht nach vorne auf den Porsche Kreisel und nach hinten ins Museum. Unglaublich zuvorkommender Service. Die Steaks sind auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen und auf den Punkt gemacht. Zum Parken am Besten direkt in die Tiefgarage.

Essen in 01/2024. Von der Tiefgarage geht es direkt mit dem Aufzug zum Restaurant. Die Einrichtung ist modern, dunkel gehalten. Es gibt verhältnismäßig wenig Tische - was ich als positiv empfinde. Der Service ist aussergewöhnlich. Jeder Mitarbeiter kennt alle Produkte, Gerichte, Weine. Der Raum hat eine direkte Sichtachse in das Porsche-Museum. Leider ist dies auch das einzige Manko: Warum schließt man als Betreiber quasi die Jalousien hierhin? Mit offenen Jalousien wäre das Erlebnis noch besser. Die Speisen und Weine sind erlesen und von hoher Qualität. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Excellent food but the service was the star of the show - truly superlative! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Beautiful place, nice employees, poor kitchen. We were 4 around the table. Starters were not fantastic but acceptable. As main meals, 2 meat and 2 vegetables meals. Meat was disappointing. We took 2 rib eyes 250g at 55€ each. Opinion was the same, quality of the beef is really low, not at all what you expect in such a place. We said it to the waiter, he was sad and wanted to change the meat. We said no. For the veggie meals, nothing to say, not fantastic too but no complaints. At the end we paid 338€ for 4. Which is correct if it’s good, but it was not and mainly because of the quality at purchasing level. An advice: whatever you cook, if the raw material is of a poor quality, you cannot get something fantastic.

Das Christophorus ist halt das Christophorus. Hervorragender Service, hervorragende Steaks, deshalb eines der besten Lokale im Stuttgarter Bereich. Und sieht man das gesamte Konzept, ist es gar nicht mal so teuer. Deshalb von uns eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Die Preise sind gepfeffert bis unverschämt! Die Qualität des Essens ist ausgezeichnet!Das Ambiente ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß, wirkt muffig und altbacken. Die Hommage an Porsche findet sich leider nur in Details wieder. Ich denke, dass ein ordentlicher Mittagstisch, der schieren Zahl an Personal geschuldet, bei 30-35,-€ liegen könnte, um das Lokal zur Mittagszeit voll zu bekommen. Was ehrlich nervt ist, dass ein spontaner Besuch immer versucht wird abzuwimmeln, die Frage nach Reservierung usw. im Lokal angekommen stellt man fest, dass von Auslastung nicht die Rede sein kann.....

Super leckeres Essen in tollem Ambiente. Hier passt alles und auch die Angestellten haben einen super Job gemacht. Die Preise mögen etwas höher sein, aber sie pasen auch zur dargebotenen Leistung. Das Filet Mignon war auf den Punkt gebraten und schnitt sich wie durch Butter. Da geht man gerne wieder zu einem gepflegten Essen hin! Es ist ein Drama dort einen Platz abends zu bekommen. Man muss über Wochen hinweg im Voraus planen, das macht keinen Spaß.

Wie immer top Service, leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Geräuschpegel durch 2 große Gruppen. Essen war top auch wenn ich dieses mal leider ein etwas kleineres Stückchen erwischt habe.

Tolles Restaurant mit fabelhaftem Essen. Die Gerichte waren ausnahmslos sehr gut. Zudem eine wirklich sehr gute Auswahl an Getränken, bspw. die Spirituosen nach dem Essen. Der Service ist der Preisklasse entsprechend sehr gut. Das Ambiente mitten im Museum ist ein weiteres Highlight.

Sehr edles Restaurant in toller location im obersten Stock des Porsche Museums mit Panorama Sicht. Vor allem die Auswahl an Fleischgerichten sticht heraus. Der Service ist überragend und auch die Wein- und Aperitifauswahl ist außergewöhnlich. Perfekte Wahl für einen besonderen Anlass. Einzige Enttäuschung waren die Beilagen.

Das Christophorus spielt ganz klar in der obersten Liga und das sehr erfolgreich. Das Ambiente ist berauschend, die Freundlichkeit des Personals kaum zu überbieten und das Essen ist grandios. Ein Besuch lässt alle Sinne höher schlagen. Wer die Faszination Porsche auch über den Gaumen erleben möchte, ist hier absolut richtig!

Service absolut zuvorkommend und klasse auf zack, Essen ist gut und wird frisch und einsehbar zubereitet. Interieur ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß und wirkt veraltet. Ansonsten toller Ausblick.

Die Preise sind hoch und die Qualität der Speisen auch. Der Ausblick könnte für alle, die keine großen Autofans sind allerdings etwas schöner sein, da der Kreisverkehr und das Porschwerk gegenüber auch nicht gerade das schönste Bild abgegeben. Das Service ist auf sehr hohem Niveau, hier wird gut ausgebildetes Personal eingesetzt. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt beim Essen: Die "Fichtenbutter" von der Vorspeise hat etwas ranzig geschmeckt, was ich bei dieser Preisklasse als unakzeptabel empfinde. Ansonsten war geschmacklich allerdings alles einwandfrei.

Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service und ganz leckeres Essen

Mehr Schein als Sein, man zahlt für den Namen Porsche und das nicht wenig. Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht besonders.

Anlässlich unseres Hochzeitstags waren wir im Christophorus. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gruß aus der Küche, Vorspeise und Dessert hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Über das Lammfleisch waren wir enttäuscht, da es leider etwas trocken war. Wir haben etwas mehr erwartet, nachdem in den Bewertungen meistens alles hoch gelobt wird. Als die Rechnung kam waren wir etwas verwundert, da wurde der volle Betrag für die Vorspeise abgerechnet, obwohl wir das Kalbsbris weggelassen haben.

Hervorragendes Restaurant mit gehobener Küche. Die a la Carte Gerichte sind von der Anrichtung auf 1-Sterne Restaurant Niveau, geschmacklich war jedes Gericht ausgezeichnet und auf den Punkt getroffen. Das Steak vom Grill ebenfalls perfekt von der Garstufe. Der Service ist von der Aufmerksamkeit und Kompetenz sonst außerhalb von Sternerestaurants so kaum anzutreffen. Die Weinempfehlung war hat genau den Geschmackswunsch getroffen. Vom Interieur gehoben elegant eingerichtet, Aussicht entweder aufs Porschewerk mit Skulptur im Kreisverkehr oder ins Museum. Preislich natürlich gehoben, aber für das gebotene absolut gerechtfertigt. Reservierung empfohlen.

Steaks waren sehr gut, aber das Personal hat Samstags um 21.30 abgefangen aufzuräumen. Das fanden wir ungemütlich. Wir waren auch die letzten. Wirkte befremdlich, wenn man bedenkt das wir zwei Monate im Voraus reservieren mussten…
