Rotenberger Weingärtle in Stuttgart

We went to this restaurant for lunch during the week (not a holiday) following our civil ceremony/wedding. The venue was busy, but not fully booked – lunch was served from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We had personally reserved seats on one of the terraces in advance. These were canceled at short notice and moved indoors. The reason: another wedding party had already announced their arrival, and the owners, due to negative previous experiences, do not want to serve two parties outdoors. It's annoying that this wasn't communicated during our initial contact. We had chosen the location precisely because of the view and the short distance to the registry office. Due to the last-minute change and our schedule, we had no alternative and had to accept the indoor seating. Upon arrival, the originally reserved outdoor seating was occupied by a couple (table for 10 people). Additionally, the daily special was schnitzel, which was sold out by 1:00 p.m. Coincidence? Due to this faux pas, I can't give a better rating. Especially since we always enjoyed eating there, though never as a group. But that's finally over now. Please note: There's a charge of €5.50 per tablecloth and €1.90 per cloth napkin - see photo!

Excellent food in beautiful surroundings with very friendly service. The fact that we were allowed to bring our dogs after a lovely walk to the burial chapel and through the vineyards made our visit perfect.

Früher gab es wunderbaren Kuchen aus einer bekannten Bäckerei. Heute war es anders, zu kleine Stücke und nicht wirklich gut. Schade diese Änderung

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe (35 Personen) da. Von der Reservierung über die freundliche Kommunikation im Vorfeld, das Eingehen auf Wünsche sowie Empfang, Essen und Getränke vor Ort war dies ein sehr schöner und angenehmer Abend auf der verglasten Terrasse mit wunderbarem Ausblick über die Weinberge und nach Uhlbach.

Food was delicious, service was very good despite the restaurant being full. Somewhat loud acoustics, otherwise everything was great. I'd love to come back.

Super delicious Swabian food, very friendly service. If you sit outside you have an outstanding view of the vineyards, depending on where you sit. We didn't have a reservation and were there during the week, but I think it's advisable to make a reservation if you want to be guaranteed a spot. The only drawback I think is the parking situation. But it could also be that there are good parking spaces nearby - I don't know about them. However, I was lucky and was able to get one of the two parking spaces in front of the restaurant. All in all, there isn't much more to say, I was pleasantly surprised across the board and will definitely come here again next time I'm in the area.

Jederzeit wieder! Wir waren mit der Grossfamilie und 3 Kids da und waren alle total begeistert. Die Kids waren mit Malen und Karten spielen (bekommt man dort) beschäftigt, während wir auf das Essen warteten. Und das Essen war einfach sensationell: ob Salat, Fleisch oder Risotto- 100% top Qualität und Geschmack. Wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt, hat man auch noch eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Weinberge. Danke an das Restaurant-Team für ein tolles Erlebnis!

Food was good, fairly priced. The ambience and the view on the terrace are a dream. Among the service people, there is usually one person who knows their stuff well and can give advice, the rest are more so-so.

After a wonderful hike through the vineyards, we had a good time in the Weingärtle.

I've been coming here for years now - it's really become a tradition for us. And every time it’s a highlight! As always, the service was friendly and warm, and our waiter surprised us again with really fine white wine from the direct environment - perfect for the food and exactly our taste. The onion roast was tender and juicy, the spaetzle was handmade and the potato salad - like grandma's, honestly! Ma notices that people are cooking with Liab. The whole thing is cozy, you just feel great in Windergarda Now let's go to the next mole - after all, tradition has to be maintained

Wonderful winery right in the vineyards near the grave chapel with a large terrace and winter garden so you can sit outside at any time. The new owners are very nice, the service is great and the kitchen is a dream! Price performance is more than suitable! We'll be back!

Today my husband and I took a spontaneous trip to the grave chapel on Württemberg. We then returned to this great restaurant with Swabian cuisine. Very friendly staff, super delicious food and a great view of the vineyards. We would be happy to come here again.

Heavenly food in the middle of the vineyard, It's always a heavenly experience to drive to Württemberg, just 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city, to enjoy this wonderful restaurant! Great food, also vegetarian, with a very personal service that is rare! The terrace is a special experience but must be booked well in advance. But the dining room is also cozy. Always my pleasure!

A really great restaurant with rustic furnishings and a beautiful terrace with a view, located a few hundred meters away from the grave chapel on the Württemberg. The menu offers a good selection of regional cuisine and the food is high quality and tastes really good. The staff are very nice and helpful, we felt comfortable and welcome.

We recently celebrated my father's birthday with 11 people at the Rotenberg Weingärtle. That was a very good decision! The service was excellent from the welcome to the fireworks for the birthday child to the farewell. We were also very happy about the table with the beautiful view. My demanding uncle also praised the food. Everything was very nice - we would love to come back!

You can always go here. The food is super delicious, every time! The waiters are all extremely friendly and have a sense of humor. If we just want to have a great day we go to the Rotenberger Weingärtle.

Ambitious and friendly team serves excellent dishes. My favorite, roasted black pudding, very tasty. Schwabenpfännle and shreds of beef with spaetzle were also perfect. Only the Kaiserschmarrn doesn't quite reach the level of the other dishes. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

Five of us ate at the Rotenberger Weingärtle today and have to recommend the restaurant without hesitation. Throughout the evening, Denis would serve us in a particularly humorous way and guide us through the menu and the individual courses. It was a celebration! The quality of the dishes and the service are outstanding. A really big compliment! We will come many more times.

Best German cuisine in Stuttgart! We come regularly from Heilbronn just for the great food and the beautiful ambience. Whether it's food or wine, everything there is of special quality. The service is also always excellent. Denis in particular leaves nothing to be desired and advises guests on everything from wine accompaniment to the right dessert. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Rotenberger Weingärtle.

There was an incredible rush when we were here. Luckily we had reservations. The staff managed quite well despite the chaos, which I find extremely surprising. Overall the food was good. The highlights were the potato salad and the Kaiserschmarrn. We wouldn't order the Sunday roast or the quite simple (leaf) salad plate again. All in all it was nice here and we'll be back.

Food was very tasty. Price wise. Beer comes from a small brewery. If you're lucky you can sit on the terrace. We didn't have a reservation and were therefore unlucky. But we'd love to come back.

Absolute recommendation! The food at the Rotenberger Weingärtle is always incredibly tasty, freshly prepared and the menu changes seasonally. The wine selection is also very fine. The service is unbeatably friendly and warm and the ambience with a view of the vineyards and the grave chapel is unique. We always enjoy coming back home with a comfortably full stomach ;)

We recently dined here and had mixed impressions. The service was really excellent - the staff were very friendly and attentive, there's nothing to complain about. However, we were less enthusiastic about the food. Unfortunately, the Wiener Schnitzel consisted more of breading than meat, which was a bit disappointing. The potato salad was okay, but there was still room for improvement. Overall, the food was passable, but we would have expected more for the price. All in all: Good service, but the price-performance ratio for the food isn't quite right.

Hübsche kleine Mittagskarte für einen Dienstagmittag; die Blutwurst mit Kartoffelpüree war gut gewürzt, nur nicht knusprig genug, wie sich das für ein im Westfälischen Pannhas (Pfannenhase) genanntes Gericht gehört. Der Salat mit den 2 Zuckerüberbackenen, kleinen Ziegenkäsen ist seit Anbeginn dieser Küche ein Gedicht, die Wintersonne auf der verglasten Terrasse eine Wohltat.

We celebrated my grandfather's 90th birthday at the Weingärtle and would like to thank you very much. From the planning to the evening itself, everything worked wonderfully. My grandpa and all the guests were thrilled by the beautiful location, the delicious food and the extremely friendly and attentive service that the employee Till offered us. We will fondly remember this unforgettable evening.

Very nice restaurant, the terrace is particularly great in summer. The waitresses are friendly. The food is good and plentiful, but the price is quite expensive. The toilets could also be renovated, they don't look so great anymore and seem a bit unkempt.

immer wieder ein herrliches Erlebnis, auf der Terrasse lecker zu essen und den stets freundlichen Service zu genießen. So ist das Weingärtle auch meine absolute Lieblings-location im Raum Stuttgart. Von urig-schwäbisch bis herzlich gastfreundlich findet man hier alles. Grandios gelegen in den Weinbergen über der Stadt. Uneingeschränkte fünf Sterne dafür.

Wir haben zum Geburtstag einen Tisch reserviert. 9 Personen. Soweit alles ok, bis der Salat kam. Mein Mann hat drei mal Gammelsalat bekommen, mit braunen schlunzigen Teilen im Teller. Nicht nur an einem Blatt sondern an ganz vielen. Nach dem Dritten Salatteller das oberste Blatt umgedreht..und schon wieder...Wirklich ekelig. Das beste war der Spruch von dem Typ hinter der Theke.."als Kind wohl noch nie im Dreck gespielt!" Das letzte!!..Die anderen Kellner sehr nett und Bemüht. Haben versucht das beste daraus zu machen mit kostenlosem Kaffee und Eis für die Kids. Trotzdem haben wir daraufhin den Tisch für's Kaffeetrinken gecancelt. Die Ausgangskontrolle sollte wohl etwas besser sein. Und der Typ hinter der Theke..geht gar nicht!!Das Essen ist sehr hochpreisig..da sollte es möglich sein einen frischen Salat zu bekommen und nicht einen Gammelsalat.

Very nice restaurant with a great view of the vineyards. 🍇Beautifully decorated and clean. We were there in a large group and were served very warmly and quickly. The food was good, not overly outstanding, but OK. The prices are more expensive than usual. If the price reflected the quality of the food that would be fine, but this wasn't the case for us. We may come again because of the beautiful view and great location for hikers. However, there are better alternatives for our taste. All the best 👍

We had the great New Year's Eve menu, a compliment to the kitchen and service team. A great organization, a great menu selection in perfect execution with a matching wine selection. We look forward to our next visit in summer at the latest to enjoy the wonderful terrace.

We went to the Weingärtle for the New Year's Eve menu yesterday and it was really excellent. Super delicious food, great wine, perfect service and a wonderful atmosphere. We would love to come back and can only recommend the restaurant to everyone.

Friendly restaurant. Unfortunately, there were long waiting times for ordered dishes and there was also no agreement between courses. During the course of the visit, the service's attention dropped significantly. Tried to be friendly, but the service team seemed uncoordinated to outsiders and uninformed about the menu that was apparently available as a replacement at short notice. Mineral water price unreasonably high. Otherwise fair prices and nice location. But the service should be more professional please.
