A wonderful, unassuming restaurant that's worth a visit. Great ambiance and incredibly delicious food; everything is freshly prepared and tastes simply fantastic. Andrea is the soul of the place! We highly recommend it. The children get something to paint, and everyone is very friendly and attentive. We'll be back on our next visit to Stuttgart 👍 The people of Cologne ☺️

Excellent food, glamorous terrace in the heart of the urban city of Vaihingen. We drove all the way from Hildrizhausen. Highly recommended, especially Gunther's excellent beef sausages, which were delicious and crispy. Andrea was an excellent lady.

This was my second time there. The food was amazing and quite delicious every time. Very good Swabian cuisine with large portions, plenty of spaetzle, and plenty of sauce! You'll definitely be full! In the winter, I was inside in the very cozy wine bar. Yesterday we went outside, which is somewhat hidden behind the house. A quiet terrace under a parasol. Attentive service!

On that day and time, the restaurant was fully booked. We had also made a reservation over a week ago and had a wonderful spot. I estimate that the restaurant has around 40 to 45 seats. Possibly even 50. The food was very, very tasty. Roast beef, wild hare, Maultaschen, Wiener Schnitzel, everything was perfect and very, very tasty! The ambience was just what you would expect from a restaurant of this kind. The service from “Andrea” as a person also deserves 5 stars. An absolutely cool lady who was anything but shy. She did an outstanding job considering that she had to do everything on her own. Taking the drinks, preparing the drinks, serving the drinks, taking the food order, serving the food order, clearing away, taking the payment – ​​and all this in a fully booked restaurant. Despite this pressure, nothing was missing and everything was served correctly. It is inevitable that there are extreme waiting times here. I was more than positively surprised during my visit to the Unmüßig wine tavern. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a friendly service person who immediately created a warm atmosphere. Where can you still find such a rustic Stuttgart original today? The wine recommendation was a real hit – exactly to my taste. The menu started with a garlic soup, and what can I say: I have eaten a lot of garlic soups, especially in the Czech Republic, but this one was simply exceptionally tasty and unique! For the main course I chose the Käsespätzle, accompanied by a salad, which I probably underestimated a bit - the portions are really generous. The cheese spaetzle was fantastic: juicy, perfectly pan-seared and folded together like an omelette. On top there were freshly fried onions, which gave the dish that little something extra. When I had to capitulate because of the quantity, the rest was kindly offered to me to take away without me having to ask. An all-round successful experience with delicious food, great service and an authentic atmosphere. Clearly for me: 5 out of 5 stars! Anyone who comes to Stuttgart should not miss a visit to the Unmüßig wine tavern.

It has become increasingly difficult to get traditional suebian fare in Stuttgart. The Weinstube is a premier Inn to feast on Rostbraten with glazed onions and spaetzle. The latter did not come shaved as it is lege artis but from a decent press and where airy and light and full of yolks as one can only hope for. Respectable wine list, too.

We spontaneously went there for dinner yesterday because we were looking for a restaurant with good food. Because of the good reviews, we chose the Weinstube Unmüssig. We weren't disappointed! There was also goose with dumplings and red cabbage, which I chose. Simply delicious! First class food! My husband also really enjoyed the Swabian plate! The food really has a special touch. The waitress Andrea is also very friendly and quick. We'll definitely come back when we're here again. A big compliment and thank you!

If you want to eat well in Stuttgart, you have to go to the Weinstube Unmüssig. In the run-up to Christmas, the roast goose is a must at Unmüssig, so perfect, tender and the side dishes are also very good. Pumpkin soup or lamb's lettuce first and then, if it fits, an excellent dessert. If you prefer Swabian cuisine, we highly recommend Maultaschen, Schwabenteller, Rostbraten, Spätzle or something completely different: Wiener Schnitzel (with mushroom sauce) better than in the famous Figlmüller in Vienna. The visit is rounded off by the very courteous staff and, when appropriate, the boss is happy to take care of his guests himself.

Here you can get very tasty, home-style food at fair prices. The selection of drinks and food is not too big but not too small either. The wine bar is also cozy, small and very rustically furnished. The food and ambience is great. Unfortunately, the service is super unfriendly and also decides whether the beautiful garden is opened. Nuestra dulce camarera Andrea encontró un asiento a pesar de no tener reservas. Luego se tomó el tiempo para ayudar a dos estadounidenses a elegir la cena. Das Essen war, wie immer, sehr gut. Die Bedienung (Andrea) war stark ausgelastet, musste die Getränke selbst richten, war aber sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir hatten den großen Tisch am Eingang, waren also nicht so im Gedränge und fühlten uns dort sehr wohl.

Vorneweg das Positive, das Essen war gut. Schlecht war, dass wir eine halbe Ewigkeit warten mussten, bis wir erst einmal Getränke bestellen konnten. Dies liegt daran, dass es im Service nur eine Person gibt, die alles machen muss. Sie muss sogar die Getränke richten. So kommt es auch, dass man weniger konsumiert, als man es normalerweise tun würde. Zweiter Negativpunkt ist, dass es sehr laut ist und man sich kaum unterhalten kann.

As usual, the food was great and so was the ambience. However, we noticed the service was unpleasant again and again. You have to expect unpleasant sayings and a relatively loose mouth. Finally, she complained about not enough tips. This has really never happened to us anywhere. All you can say is pretty bad for business. Of course we won't be coming any more for the time being. Ich hatte am 26.12.23. einem Tisch für 11 Personen reserviert um meinen 60. Geburtstag zu feiern. Den Tisch hatte ich schon im August bestellt und die Personenanzahl nochmals am 22.12. mit einem Anruf im Lokal bestätigt . Als wir dann am 26. Dezember im Lokal ankamen, wunderten wir uns sehr, dass uns ein Tisch zu gewesen wurde, an dem nur acht Personen Platz hatten. Zwei weitere Personen sollten an einem kleineren Nebentisch Platz nehmen und es ist kaum zu glauben. Eine einzelne Person hätte sich an einen einzelnen Tisch setzen sollen . Ein Mann, der an der Bar saß oder an einem kleinen Nebentisch man weiß nicht genau ob das jetzt der Chef war oder sonst irgendjemand hat zu mir gesagt er hätte mir das doch am Telefon gesagt. Daraufhin habe ich gesagt mir mit Ihnen habe ich überhaupt noch gar nicht gesprochen. Ich hatte immer eine freundliche Dame dran. Er meinte dann nur ihr könnt natürlich alle an einen Tisch sitzen aber dann sitzt ihr wie im Flugzeug fanden wir dann auch richtig lustig, da ich mich eigentlich auf meinen Abend sehr gefreut hatte. Wir kommen schon seit ich glaube mein Sohn hat jetzt nachgeschaut über zehn Jahre in die Weinstube un müßig und sowas ist uns echt noch nicht passiert. Damit hat sich das Lokal für uns jetzt auch erledigt Leider, weil dir auch immer weiter empfohlen haben, aber das werden wir jetzt nicht mehr tun und selber werden wir das Lokal auch nicht mehr besuchen . das Essen war wie immer sehr gut darum tut es uns auch echt leid aber es gibt ja auch noch andere Restaurants, in denen man gut und lecker essen kann und freundlich bedient wird.

Das Essen war wirklich toll. Trotzdem werden wir nicht wiederkommen, denn wir haben uns als Gäste nicht willkommen gefühlt. Das Servicepersonal, eine einzelne Dame, war an Unfreundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten, genervter Gesichtsausdruck und absolut nicht tolerierbares Verhalten. Wir hatten für 14 Personen reserviert, der Tisch war für 12 Personen eingedeckt und wir saßen zu zwölft schon sehr eng. Erst meinte sie schnippisch, sie hätte für 14 Personen eingedeckt und dann, wir müssten halt zusammenkuscheln, es sei nicht zu ändern und fertig. Kein freundliches Wort des Bedauerns. Um Getränkenachschub zu ordern, mussten wir an die Theke, kein Nachfragen, ob was fehlt, ob noch was gewünscht wird. Ein sehr schlechter Stil in einem ansich schönen Lokal und wirklich leckerem Essen. Schade!

Da das Schollenfilet leider von der Karte gestrichen wurde, mußten wir zum Schwarzbach in der Dürlewangstr. ausweichen. Schade.

Es schmeckt nach Zuhause. Ich würde öfter hin gehen, wenn es mein Einkommen zulassen würde. Leider ist essen gehen für mich seit einigen Jahren unmöglich. Für jeden der es sich leisten kann destinitiv empfehlenswert!

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier essen. Trotz des charmanten Ambientes enttäuscht die Weinstube mit einem unfreundlichen Service, der leider auch zu lange brauchte, um den Tisch mit Getränke zu bedienen.Leider dauerte es auch eine Ewigkeit bis das Essen gekommen ist, obwohl noch viel los war. Das schmackhafte Essen könnte dennoch einen Besuch wert sein, wenn du Geduld mitbringst.

Op doorreis naar Italie sliepen we een nacht in Stuttgart. Dit tentje gevonden via Google omdat we zin hadden in een Duitse schnitzel. Heel knus tentje met een knusse aankleding. Ook kregen wij tijdens het eten een happystone op onze tafel neergelegd. De schnitzel was lekker en een flinke portie. Als toetje warme kaiserschmarren. Dit was teveel dus hebben we in een bakje meegekregen. De bediening was heel aardig en maakte achteraf nog een praatje over hoe wij hun hadden gevonden en waar we naartoe gingen. Fijne ervaring! Op de terugreis gaan we hoogstwaarschijnlijk nog een keer langs…

Wir waren schon sehr oft hier zum Essen und es hat uns immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Es ist immer voll und man sollte schon Plätze reservieren . Man kann froh sein das es noch so einen tollen Betrieb gibt . Bravo macht weiter so .

Die Kässpätzle waren ganz gut. Nicht jede sollte im Service arbeiten, wenn ihr das nicht liegt.

Wir waren das erste Mal da auf Empfehlung von Freunden. War super. Da macht man alles richtig, wenn dort hingeht.

Wir waren diesmal nur zu zweit da, hatten reserviert und fanden uns an einem der beiden kleinen "Katzentische" gleich hinter dem Eingang wieder: einer direkt an der Tür, der zweite direkt am Klo. Das restliche Ambiente können wir nicht bewerten, weil wir gar nicht weiter ins Lokal hineinkamen. Der Laden war offensichtlich trotz der relativ frühen Abendessenszeit knallvoll, ebenso offensichtlich kamen Bedienungen und Küche nicht mehr ganz hinterher. Aber er herrscht eben Fachkräftemangel im Gastrobereich und mehr als arbeiten kann man ja nicht, die Bedienung war immerhin freundlich und bemüht. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist für ein so kleines Lokal sehr ordentlich. Das Essen kam nach ca. einer dreiviertel Stunde und die Portion war mehr aus ausreichend und geschmacklich sehr gut zu einem angemessenen Preis. Wenn wie nicht so schnell wiederkommen, liegt das eher am Tisch, den man uns zuwies.

Sehr urig! Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt, obwohl viel los war wurden wir zügig bedient. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist nicht allzu groß, dafür gibt es immer eine wechselnde Wochenkarte. Das Essen war sensationell (ich hatte Zürcher Geschnetzeltes mit Rösti, mein Mann Wild). Der Wirt hatte trotz des Trubels Zeit für einen Plausch, sehr nett und zeigte uns auch noch Bilder von seinen neusten Koch-Kreationen. Toll hier, man fühlt sich wirklich als Gast :-)

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 12 Leuten dort. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker, die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Aber leider war der Service unglaublich schlecht. Die Damen waren völlig genervt, gaben schnippische Antworten und die FFP2 Masken hingen entweder unter der Nase oder es wurde gar keine getragen. Nach dem Essen wurde das dreckige Geschirr fast 10 Minuten auf dem Tisch stehen gelassen (das Restaurant war da nicht mehr voll besetzt). Auf die Frage, ob die beiden Kinder vielleicht das Wlan nutzen dürften, gab es ein "Das Passwort geben wir nicht raus!". Es gab auch keine Nachfragen, ob man noch etwas trinken möchte. Bei jeder Bestellung musste man sich erst einmal um die Aufmerksamkeit der Servicekräfte bemühen. Das Fazit: das Essen kann ich weiterempfehlen. Aber das Personal sollte dringend eine Schulung in Gastfreundschaft und Service órientierung bekommen.

Eine tolle Weinstube mit sehr leckren, schwäbischen Spezialitäten wie Gaißburger Marsch oder saisonalen Speisen wie Gans und Wild. Service war sehr zuvorkommend, schnell und hatte immer einen lockren Spruch drauf. Reservieren empfohlen, wir waren an einem Montag Abend da und es war voll.

Great menu selection, tasty german red wines, seasonal mushroom dishes, sizable portions at very reasonable prices! Top that with several gluten free dishes, English langiage menu and service, helpful waitress ... old style dining decor matched with super clean, modern bathroom facilities.... a pleasure that will be repeated! Wir haben heute bei der Weinstube Essen ToGo bestellt. Das Essen war so lecker wie wir es gewohnt sind, wenn wir in der Weinstube vor Ort gegessen haben. Das Essen war noch heiß, das Fleisch super zart. Salat, Grillgemüse, Spätzle und Pommes, alles war perfekt. Wir werden bestimmt wieder dort Essen abholen und die lokalen Restaurants unterstützen. Es wäre ein Jammer, wenn es solch tollen Restaurants nach Corona nicht mehr geben würde.

wir bestellten am freitag abend telefonisch essen zum abholen, der service war sehr nett und kompetent! die maultaschen der kartoffelsalat sowie die soße waren zu 100% selbstgemacht und wirklich sehr lecker! wir waren sehr wirklich sehr zufrieden und werden bestimmt wieder bestellen. wer maultaschen gerne isst ist hier genau richtig!!

Good place if you want a traditional German Gaststube, rare nowadays. Quiet, clean, gemütlich. Very good meal, excellent quality. Beer, many wines of course.

Wir haben hier als Familie zum mitnehmen bestellt. Guter Rostbraten und ausgezeichnetes kleines Schnitzel als Kinderportion bei sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Ambiente des Innenraumes und der Terasse lässt nicht automatisch auf die hervorragende Kochkunst schließen, alles etwas schlicht, rustikal. Ich habe das Eintreten nicht bereut. Auch wenn es etwas laut war, das Essen entschädigte.
