Waldhotel the name says it all. Right next to the forest 🌳 wonderful for a holiday with your dog and family. I really liked the atmosphere. Everything fits and harmoniously. The rooms super clean. The fact that dogs are allowed is really great. Since we have a small son, cleanliness was important to me because of other dogs in the room. Breakfast was good. We would have liked to have dinner sometime. Unfortunately this is only available from Fridays - Sundays. Nevertheless, we spent 4 great days at the Waldhotel. We'll definitely be back. Were there for dinner. I had an Argentinian rump steak with onion, bacon beans and Röstitaler. The steak had a thick tendon, but it was at least 250 g. on the plate if the weight is not stated on the menu. The cooking point was slightly exceeded but still acceptable. There was nothing wrong with the other meals (20 people).

According to stories, I had hoped for more. The veal schnitzel we ordered was canceled 10 minutes after ordering because there was no more veal, Saturday evening at prime time... something like that shouldn't happen... Unfortunately, the new version with chicken wasn't a burner either; a longer bath in the pan would have been good for the schnitzel. ...and what's not possible is that the staff argue loudly behind the counter when the hut is full - that's definitely a no go!

Nice area and nice atmosphere. Service was nice. Food was so-so. Occasionally there are longer waiting times, which can be excused due to the large number of guests. However, you can also expect a lot of effort to be put into the food, as the choice of dishes wasn't much. The game burger was really top and cooked to perfection. The fries were unseasoned and extremely hard. The chicken schnitzel, which we ordered since there was no veal left, was rather bad than good. Baked way too soft. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesn't fit here at all. It was just a shame that there were no more calves. The dessert, nougat dumplings, was really good again. I can't say anything about the rooms because we didn't stay there.

We always like to come over. The food is simply delicious. There is good home cooking. The prices are great. For the children there is always a little surprise and ice cream with the food. The restaurant and hotel are lovingly decorated in a romantic and modern way. The terrace outside invites you to linger and inside there is even a fireplace for cozy warmth while eating. And if you still need a little adventure, you can climb the very high tower opposite.

Rating does not apply to overnight stays! Great location and nice furnishings, food ok - nice large garden with directly adjacent observation tower. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in terms of reliability. You book a table for a larger hiking group and shortly beforehand you get a cancellation because of an alleged other event that has proven not to have taken place. Unfortunately, being deliberately lied to doesn't show trust in me.

Very nice, family-run hotel. The rooms are magical. A little noisy, but bright, modern and in a cozy Alpine style. Ours was the “Watzmann”. Great view is included. The restaurant has a clear menu with good, rustic dishes. The schnitzels are great. Breakfast is a small highlight. The room is cute, the buffet is small. But everything is there. Coffee, delicious juice, fresh rolls, cold cuts, cheese etc. You can sizzle your own scrambled eggs to your taste and you can also cook the egg yourself according to your taste. Splendid. And the service is very attentive. We chose the hotel as the location for a trip to Marburg. Was perfect. Oh yes, dogs are welcome. And there are great dog walks/hiking trails all around...

The two of us visited the restaurant after a short hike in the nearby forest. The dog was allowed to lie at the table outside without any problem. We waited in vain for the promised water for the animal. The service seemed to be a bit overwhelmed or the restaurant was understaffed (May 1st), because we heard at the next table that there were problems with the bill. My waffle was served richly topped with vanilla ice cream and cream, but I still found €7 too expensive for a small waffle square. But I have to emphasize the good advice.

Location really has potential and parking is right in front of the door. Unfortunately the service is not up to scratch. At lunchtime I wasn't even asked if I wanted the card. Beer is limited to plain Licher or Benedictine. It's a shame, especially considering the beer garden. I paid for my beer at the bar on the way out because no waitresses got lost in the beer gates.

The hotel itself is quite nice and the staff is generally friendly. However, the hotel is very noisy and there is a smell of food from the restaurant in the hallways... and it sounds in the room as if you could still hear the schnitzel knocking from the kitchen. The bathroom is extremely small. Now I'm not that tall, but I'm wondering how a normal person would fit in this shower. I was told when booking that breakfast wouldn't be available on Saturdays until 8:30 a.m., so I booked without breakfast. When I walked past the breakfast room at 7:45 a.m., other guests were already having breakfast... It wasn't possible to print out an invoice, just a simple receipt. This could have been prepared, because I had written an email about it beforehand.

We stayed in the ZILLERTAL room and loved it. The dinner in the in-house restaurant was excellent. A great selection of different schnitzel variations, game but also steaks awaited us, as well as a well-stocked selection of drinks. The food was excellent and we slept wonderfully in the quiet, clean and tastefully furnished room - with a view of a wall-sized Zillertal picture. We will be back. thank you very much

Unfortunately I can't give any information about the rooms, but the food is great and the service is very friendly.

Schönes Ambiente, gutes Essen und zuvorkommendes Personal. Schlagermusik ist aber nicht unbedingt etwas, was man den ganzen Abend hören muss.

Schöne Lage,man kann bei schönem Wetter gut spazieren gehen,liegt direkt neben dem Aussichtsturm.Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür.

Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Auch für größere Feiern sehr gut. Wir hatten Kommunionsfeier dieses Jahr hier. Freitags ist Schnitzel Tag für ein super Preis. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Es war sehr viel los, Hochzeit und Tagesgäste. Essen war schnell am Tisch und für den Preis o.k.! Schnitzeltag. Das einzige ist der Preis der Getränke! Es ist schon überteuert wenn man für einen Apfelwein sauer 0,5 Liter 5.50 € nimmt. In Zukunft nur noch ein Getränk und danach wieder nachhause. Sonst wird es zu teuer!

Waren mit dem Motorrad da .. Hauptsächlich wegen dem Holzturm 😁..sehr tolle Aussicht..bietet sich an eine Kaffee und Kuchen im Hotel ..kann ich sehr empfehlen 👍👍👍

Schlechter Service. 1 Stunde aufs Essen gewartet. Salat sah gut aus, leider mit viel zuviel Weiß- und Rotkraut "aufgefüllt". Knoblauchbrot war aus Blätterteig ohne Knoblauchgeschmack. Spätzle waren Knöpfle, die so lange überbacken waren, dass man sie nicht kauen konnte.....knüppelhart. Preis/Leistung passt leider gar nicht.

Alles Tipitoppi, komme sehr gerne wieder.

Wunderschönes kleines Hotel direkt im Grünen am Ende eines Wohngebietes. Sauber und gepflegt. Hunde willkommen. Ambiente wie im Allgäu

Schnelle und sehr freundliche Bedingungen, Essen kam nach 15min. Wir hatten Schnitzel, Cordon Blue und vegetarischen Burger, schmeckte lecker und frisch gemacht; sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Café ist idyllisch gelegen, aber der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir mussten mehrmals nach Besteck fragen und zwar verschiedene Personen. Bis es dann kam, war die Waffel kalt.

Nettes Ambiente, freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen. Reservierung ist ratsam.

Czyste pokoje, śniadanie przeciętne. W hotelu spędziłem dwie noce i każdego wieczora internet działał dobrze od rana do godziny około 18:30, później co chwilę zrywał połączenie.

Es war herrlich.. Duftig frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Frühstück war perfekt.. Wir kommen wieder 👍😃

Also die negativen Rezessionen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ich war heute das erste Mal vor Ort und habe mir dort da. Freitag ist ein Schnitzel bestellt. Dieses kam relativ zügig und es hat unglaublich gut geschmeckt und ich esse wirklich regelmäßig Schnitzel, so dass ich das beurteilen kann.🤣 Ich werde hier nun definitiv regelmäßig vorbeikommen. Preisleistung ist wirklich in Ordnung für das, was hier geboten wird. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie kam auch zwischendurch vorbei, um zu fragen, ob es noch etwas sein kann und das mit einem sehr netten Lächeln 😊. Habe mich hier unglaublich wohl gefühlt! Weiter so 👏 Zu den Zimmern kann ich leider nicht sagen, da ich dort nicht genächtigt habe.

Leckeres Essen, allerdings war der Service wirklich nicht aufmerksam. In 2 Stunden hatte jeder 1 Getränk, weitere wurden nicht angefragt und leider lief auch kaum jemand vorbei, so dass wir mehrfach an der Theke nachfragen mussten (Speisekarte, extra Pommes, Bezahlung). Sehr schade

Ich habe auf meiner Motorradtour einen Abstecher zum Turm gemacht. Die Aussicht super schön. Zum Hotel kann ich nichts sagen und der Wanderweg, na ja eher ohne Motorrad.

Wir waren am Wochenende im Waldhotel am Turm. Wir waren alle (Gruppe von 11Personen, 9 Erwachsene zwischen 40 und 75 sowie 2 Kinder 4 und 8) durchweg zufrieden. Tolle, saubere Zimmer, sehr gutes Essen (Frühstücksbuffet sowie Abendkarte) und ein besonderes Lob geht an die beiden jungen Servicekräfte. Freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. 2 Daumen hoch. Das Haus selbst ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sehr einladend und geschmackvoll. Gut begehbare, weitläufige Wanderwege. Danke für das sehr gelungene Wochenende

Essen sehr gut, Schnitzel Salat vom Buffet sowie Pommes 👌, freundliche Bedienung sowie schöner Biergarten mit Kinderspielplatz...... Ruhige Waldlage und Aussichtsturm....
