The dishes are prepared with great attention to detail – a true taste experience from appetizers to desserts. We were particularly impressed by the homemade pasta and the fresh seafood. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and ensures that you feel completely at home. The wine selection is first-class and perfectly complements the dishes. A true gem for all lovers of Italian cuisine – we'll definitely be back!

Original text: In the last few years we have eaten in the pergola quite often. The food was good and you could sit and chat relatively comfortably, especially in the benches. Unfortunately, the owners never gave us the feeling of being guests during all this time. As a rule, you weren't greeted and the grumpy reaction when you entered the restaurant gave the impression that you weren't happy about the guests but rather annoyed about the extra work. Over time we got used to it and learned to ignore it - until the last visit. There were three of us and when the plates were taken away one person was still eating. One person ordered coffee and when asked if anyone else would like anything, the answers were “I have some more” and “I'll eat - a little later”. With that we announced that we would like to take something else shortly afterwards. The coffee was brought, but after that no one showed up at our table to clear the remaining plates or take another order. Looks and signs were ignored, even though the owner was at the neighboring table four times to ask for further requests or to serve drinks. After over an hour we managed to get a waiter's attention. We asked for coffee. When he replied that the machine was now clean, we kindly pointed out that a very unfortunate situation had now arisen because we and our order request had not been taken into account for over an hour. The waiter left without comment and called the owner, who appeared at our table extremely angry and loudly reprimanded us that it would be closing time in 10 minutes. He leaned threateningly on our table with both fists. When he pointed out that we had been waiting for service for over an hour and that the remaining dirty plates hadn't even been served, he countered that we could have gotten our coffee at the counter (!) and they weren't interested (!). In addition, they had eaten themselves and therefore had no time. To the argument that he had been at the next table four times during this time without paying any attention to us, he replied almost aggressively that they were only human. We immediately asked for the bill and had to wait almost a quarter of an hour for it - even though there were only three tables left in the restaurant at that point. Of course, we are all human and in the past we had always made a point not to order anything when we could see the owners were eating; even during regular opening hours because we didn't want to disturb them while they were eating. But when I go to a restaurant I expect a minimum level of service - actually friendliness - but under no circumstances do I have to get my drinks at the counter like in a snack bar. In addition, our friendly and justified criticism was responded to without any insight or unpleasant behavior. This is really too much for us. Too bad.

Unfortunately you had to wait a long time for service even though there wasn't much activity... The sauce for the cream schnitzel wasn't that good otherwise the food was fine. The women's toilet has defects.

Nice rustic atmosphere and a really tasty, well-topped pizza at a reasonable price. No ingredients are spared. One point deducted from the service because they didn't ask if you wanted any more drinks, but we were there at Christmas and the hut was full.

2021: Food was a pleasure as always and recommended to everyone. Some of the employees are too stressed and therefore a bit unfriendly. I actually don't know that! 11.2024: Things have changed for the better for a long time. That's how I know the pergola and that's how it is again. Food, service (of course also the boss) and cozy atmosphere are delicious, nice and homely ;-).

As a former Kirchhainer, I have known la Pergola for years and always enjoyed eating there. When I went there last week for the first time in years, I was really looking forward to the food. As usual, the food was very tasty this time and the prices were reasonable. However, there is still something to complain about in the way the customer is treated. When I finally wanted to pay for my meal with the card because I didn't have any cash with me, the owner reacted quite annoyed and said that this was only possible from 15 € and that this applied to everyone. I then said that I would like to give a tip by card payment in order to get the minimum value of €15. I even tipped not just €15, but even more than that. Here too, the owner unfortunately reacted rather rudely, so that I was annoyed at the same moment that I had rounded up even further. To be honest, this behavior wasn't worth a cent of tip to me. What a shame!

Friendly with excellent pizza and salads. I need to return and try the pasta dishes. The large (gross) pizza crusts can be more variable in their thickness, with some sections thicker than the New Yorker in our group preferred. The personal size (mittal) is reliability perfect. The location is suitable for both families, gathering with friends, and dates.

If you've been wanting to eat something good for a long time, you definitely have to go here! The food is always fantastically delicious! The service is top and super friendly. You always feel welcome! We are already counting the days until the next visit!

Half an hour before the break he was very unpleasantly surprised or offended that I wanted to order fish. Another restaurateur who has an overflowing ego. He was very unpleasant. I've had enough of places like this, they serve like punishment and you, the little customer, should appreciate them. Bad.

“Hospitality consists of a little warmth, a little food and great peace.” Unfortunately, my children and I were not able to have this experience in this restaurant. We had ordered a table for three people and were asked by the boss to choose one of the reserved tables as none had been prepared for us. We chose a table by the window and the waitress brought us the menus and picked up the drinks We were aggressively insulted by the boss, telling us that we weren't allowed to sit there and that we had to vacate the place immediately. Like beaten dogs, we changed tables, speechless and stunned. Then we were ignored and no longer served. We then completely lost the restaurant leave disappointed! I have known and appreciated the food and the ambience since my childhood, which makes me all the more disappointed that the guests there are now shown so little appreciation and humanity. There have already been two unpleasant situations of a similar nature, marked by the unfriendliness of the staff and myself Nevertheless, because of my open and people-friendly nature, I gave the restaurant another chance. Likewise, the owners do not use negative reviews as an opportunity for self-reflection and opportunity for further development, but instead follow passive-aggressive behavior and shame their guests there too. After more than 30 years, I will no longer visit this restaurant and I sincerely wish the owner and his family health, a lot of strength and serenity.

Zwei ältere Damen gehen in dieses Restaurant, werden darauf hingewiesen, dass sie sich einen Tisch aussuchen können, nur um dann von einem Mitarbeiter oder sogar Chef aufs unfreundlichste angebellt zu werden, dass sie dort nicht sitzen können. Eine Frechheit die seines Gleichen sucht und daher dafür sorgen wird, dass keiner aus dem Freundes und Bekanntenkreises mehr dort essen gehen wird. Ich mein, Pizzabuden gibt es wie Sand am Meer.

Hello everyone, First of all, the pergola has been around in Kirchhain for as long as I can remember. This is probably due to the good quality of the food and the staff. When you come in you are warmly welcomed and shown to a table. The ambience is cozy and warm. You feel comfortable and can eat in peace. The staff is friendly and extremely confident. Here you simply notice that you are welcome. I don't even want to start with the food. The food is very good. It's tasty, warm and impressive. If you are in Kirchhain and are looking for good food, then the Pergola is the right place for you.

There were 4 people there, service was OK, food was very good. Paid a little over €100 with 4 people, starters and main courses + drinks.

Pizza was in the oven for far too short a time. It was still cold and not through. Prices very expensive for this service.

Will and remains the best pizzaria for me. Others aren't bad, of course, but Pergola has been my favorite since 1990. As we all know, tastes differ, but that's mine.

Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung (vermutlich der Geschäftsführer). Drei Minuten nach der Reservierungszeit wird man schon aufgefordert den Tisch zu wechseln wenn die restlichen 3 der 5 Personen nicht sofort kommen. Zur Strafe dafür, dass nicht alle pünktlich waren, bekamen wird erst, trotz mehrfachem Nachfragen, nach einer halben Stunde die Speisekarten. Als wir, zur Entlastung die Karten selbst holen wollten wurden wir in einem Ton angefahren, den ich mir nicht noch einmal gefallen lassen werde. Nach einer Stunde gab es erst das Essen. In einem unmöglichen Ton mussten wir uns abkanzeln lassen. Das Essen war mäßig und mit wenig Liebe zubereitet. Das müssen wir uns auf keinen Fall ein weiteres Mal zumuten!

For food: I had a Cordeun Bleu with fries and cream sauce. The fries weren't seasoned, the sauce tasted like ready-made sauce, the meat didn't taste fresh (it was pretty hard instead of tender) and I completely missed the ham. There was enough cheese included. Portion was as expected. I give this 2 stars in terms of taste and appearance. About the service: Absolutely bad. I asked for a children's chair and was just shown where it was and then had to get it from the cloakroom myself. We ordered salads as a starter. As soon as these were on the table, the main course arrived. We were not looked after at all during the meal. Sorry, but since I trained as a restaurant specialist myself, I certainly have a different view of the service, but it was really miserable. The ambience is rustic and appropriate. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant. It's probably only the regular customers who live here.

Von der guten Italienischen Gourmet Küche hat sich das Restaurant Pergola weit entfernt. Desinteressiertes Personal den Gästen gegenüber. Grottenschlechtes Carpaccio, es war mal unbeschreiblich gut. Personal kann nicht mal Auskunft über die Beilagen geben. Den Grappa nach dem bezahlen der Rechnung gibt es auch nicht mehr. Für einen Rechnungsbetrag von 60 - 70 € Kann ich woanders gut essen gehen

Die Pergola gibt es in Kirchhain schon seit ich denken kann. Dies ist jedoch leider keine Qualitätsaussage! Meine Bewertung in 2023: Essen: 2 Sterne, Service: auch 2, nicht besonders freundlich. Kam mir vor wie angefertigt. War nur ok, mehr auch nicht. Ich komme so schnell nicht wieder. Der Konsument hat die Wahl. In Kirchhain gibt es leckerere Lokale, Pizzen oder Imbisse. War mal wieder ganz lecker. Ich kenne das Restaurant seit 1986.

Essen sehr lecker und schnell zubereitet, leider kam nach dem Essen keiner mehr um neue Getränke aufzunehmen oder zum kassieren. Ich musste selbst aufstehen nach vorne laufen und bezahlen. Getränke hatte ich nur eins und über eine Stunde lang nichts mehr.

Sehr leckere Pizzen, sowie Salate und die derzeit der Saison entsprechende Spargelgerichte, tolles Preis Leistungsverhältnis und netter Service. Da gibt es zum Abschluss auch noch einen Absacker. Komme wieder.....

Es ist ein kleines und feines Restaurant. Die Stimmung ist echt gut hier und des Personal sehr nett. Das Ambiente ist auch echt gut. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker und umfangreich für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Ich habe mir das Cordonblö bestellt und das Fleisch war echt zart und die Füllung echt lecker. Das andere war Schweine Medaliongs mit Pilzen und Rahmensoße war auch echt lecker und das Fleisch war auch sehr zart. Echt Respekt an die Küche das sie so was leckeres kochen können und so schnell es war nicht so viel Wartezeit bis das Essen kahm.

So stellt man sich ein italienisches Restaurant vor, nette Bedienung ,schneller Service, top Preise 👍

Das Essen ist geschmacklich einfach super lecker. Alle Wünsche werden vom Personal und der Küche umgesetzt. Freundlichkeit wird in diesem Restaurant gelebt was zu einem gelungenen Abend beiträgt. Wir gehen sehr gerne dorthin und bleiben der Pergola treu.

Einrichtung schon etwas rustikal. Der Chef ist schon etwas mürrisch. Die Pizza ist aber lecker und der Primitivo war sehr lecker.

Ich war mit meinem Umzugstrupp am 2.1.22 hier und wir waren wirklich zufrieden. Meine Echipă hatte Pizzen ohne Ende . Ich hatte ein Șnițel de Porc 🐷 cu Cartofii prăjiți 🍟 Sollte die Constelații so sein wie damals werden wir wieder hier auf kreuzen !

Bin immer mal wieder Gast, seit meiner Kindheit. Einrichtung ist rustikal, aber gemütlich - man fühlt sich wohl. Ein Verbesserungspunkt wäre Peperoncino-Öl anzubieten, was man so aus Italien als "Topping" für Pizzen kennt. Wir bekamen stattdessen Tabasco und Öl, was aber kein Ersatz ist. Später gabs jedoch noch ein Dessert aufs Haus, was total nett war. Klare Empfehlung, komme immer gern wieder!

Typischer Italiener in Deutschland, Pizza ist für deutsche Verhältnisse leicht über dem Durchschnitt, noch meilenweit von italienischer Pizza in Italien entfernt. Bedienung freundlich und flott, Preise ebenfalls durchschnittlich. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch auf der geräumigen Terrasse Platz nehmen.

Nonostante sia sempre prevenuto verso i ristoranti italiani all estero , stavolta è ripeto Stavolta ho dovuto ricredermi! Tutto azzeccato , personale gentilissimo , servizio rapido , cibo ottimo (io personalmente ho preso la sogliola con salsa al vino bianco) e conto più che proporzionato! Mi sono recato, diverse volte, presso il ristorante "La Pergola". La cucina è di ottima qualità. Il ristorante si rivolge a qualsiasi tipo di clientela. Il menù proposto offre la possibilità di scegliere piatti ricchi e vari. Il personale si è rivelato, inoltre, cordiale e molto disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta. I prezzi sono onesti. Ѐ un ottimo locale. Ve lo consiglio caldamente.

Das Restaurant hat ein nettes Ambiente. Man kann drinnen und bei schönem Wetter auch draußen sitzen. Das Personal ist freundlich und schnell. Auf der Karte gibt es eine gute Auswahl. Die Preise sind günstig. Das Restaurant hat 2 eigene Parkplätze, darüber hinaus kann man auf der Straße parken. Die Pizza gibt es in 3 Größen. Meine mittlere Cappricciosa mit ganz viel Knoblauch war nach 5 Minuten da und sehr gut. Der Teig war dünn, locker und knusprig. Die Beläge waren frisch und sehr gut. Der bestellte viele Knoblauch war richtig gut vorhanden. Ich habe es einfach nur genossen. Teilweise hatte man einen Blick in die offene Küche. Die Fleischgerichte an mir vorbei getragen wurden waren groß und sahen sehr lecker aus. Die Toiletten waren sauber und haben frisch gerochen.

Sono stato diverse volte in questo ristorante situato qualche chilometro fuori da Stadtallendorf e devo dire che al momento è il migliore ristorante italiano dei dintorni. Gestito da Italiani trapiantati, si può entrare e parlare tranquillamente in italiano. La scelta di cibi nel menù è abbastanza ampia anche se prevalgono un po' i piatti pieni di crema e intingoli che tanto piacciono ai tedeschi. Io in qualche occasione mi sono fatto fare una semplice aglio, olio e peperoncino, che non è incluso nel menu, e devo dire che il cuoco non ha affatto perso la mano con i piatti semplici e gustosi che si trovano in Italia. Fanno anche le pizze ma onestamente non le ho mai provate perché alla vista non sono particolarmente stuzzicanti. Se devo fare un appunto è sulla scelta di alcune materie prime. La mozzarella che servono, per esempio, è di bassa qualità persino per un banco di un supermercato, figuriamoci per un ristorante. Secondo me potrebbero cercarne una più buona. Anche l'espresso è discreto e migliorabile. Manca inoltre, secondo me, un tagliere di salumi e qualche selezione di formaggi italiani. I prezzi sono onesti: ieri sera per aglio, olio e peperoncino, bruschetta con mozzarella, radler da 0,3l, caffé ho speso 18,80€. Nel complesso: vale assolutamente la pena provarlo.

Die Pizza hier schmeckt genial. Die Speziale ist unser absoluter Favorit. Auch Nudeln schmecken wunderbar. Der Gastraum ist rustikal italienisch gestaltet. Draußen sitzt man nicht so schön. Das geht woanders besser. Leider, deshalb keine 5 Sterne, ist der Getränkeservice sehr schleppend. Von alleine wird selten gefragt, ob man noch was möchte. Man muss ständig darauf aufmerksam machen. Daher holen wir am Liebsten und essen zuhause.

Gutes Essen und gute Getränke in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Sehr freundliche Bedienung die in kurzer Zeit das gewünschte gebracht hat. Hinterher gab es noch ein kleines Gratis Getränk (Schnaps, Likör).

Toiletten alt aber sauber. Terrasse mit schöner Sonne Lage. Vegetarisch optisch und geschmacklich top. Pizza gross und reichlich belegt. Spargelportion etwas knapp. Empfehlenswert für Mittagstisch
