We have one in September Happy birthday celebrated here for a whole afternoon until at evening. We have been before very good advice and were able to Design the day as we wanted, e.g. b we have the cakes ourselves brought along. Even with some We got help preparing. It was a very nice day. The Service and food was great!

The food was very good, very rural, you have peace and quiet. The staff was nice too. I can't rate the rooms.

The food was good. It was a part of a tour. My beer got lost because of how many people there were, and the servers weren't able to keep track of who ordered what. I can't speak to the rooms as I didn't stay the night, just had some lunch. Adorable pigs out back.

The remote country inn is in a beautiful location by a small lake. If you can sit outside, it's certainly a great location. Unfortunately it was too cold for that on the weekend. So the four of us ate inside. If necessary, you should also spend the night there. The waitress was unable to tell us whether a room was available or how much it would cost; it wasn't until an hour and a half after our stay that someone showed up to pass on this information. We then decided not to spend the night there. Overall, the service was friendly, neutral and OK. The food was OK. But you can't say anything more about it. The impression of the drinks was mixed: the wine offered on the menu was no longer available. The three rhubarb spritzers I ordered all looked different… My Aperol Spritz was fine. The Merlot I ordered afterwards was fine. Overall, the impression was that the staff were a bit overwhelmed on this Saturday evening. I can't say why that was. If we find ourselves in the area again, I would probably give the inn a second chance.

We visited the Kasch family on the motorcycle on September 13-15, 2024. Food, accommodation and service were great. ......for breakfast there are lots of other delicacies and real scrambled eggs!! We'll be back......

The way the country inn presents itself online is definitely not. The fact that the furniture in the room is quite old is basically ok, but the room shouldn't be worn out! The bedside table was broken, as were both windows (the window handle came against you when you tried to close it). The sockets were loose and coming towards you! There was a privacy film on the bathroom window, but it was only halfway up, so you could see into the bathroom from outside (window next to the shower)! Breakfast didn't have much of a selection and when I praise regional products, of course the scrambled eggs can't come out of the bag!

The garden is nice to sit in. Old fruit trees provide beautiful shade. There are lovingly designed and selected play areas available for children. Rowing boats, SUP and a pedal boat can be rented. The waiters are friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty but also very expensive.

A very nice country inn! Good cuisine, great ambience, great outdoor area that is also perfect for children! We'll definitely be back!

We have been there several times with the family and the location is one of the most family-friendly that we know - children have a variety of outdoor play opportunities and the spacious area offers many beautiful corners for adult guests to linger. Unfortunately, in addition to a lot of praise for the location, some criticism is also necessary: ​​Kasch - like many catering establishments - has recently increased its prices significantly. Simple dishes under 20 euros are hard to find on the menu. Steak, cutlet or a real Viennese schnitzel with fried potatoes cost almost 40 euros. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and its preparation as well as the service only match the price to a limited extent. Some of the wrong drinks were brought to us - alcoholic instead of non-alcoholic, others only came after we asked several times. When it came to the dishes, the Wiener Schnitzel was very dry and sober, the breading was dark, very thick and also sober and the small fried potatoes were very greasy. The currywurst we ordered was a boiled sausage and the extra curry sauce had the consistency of watered down tomato porridge. The taste corresponded to the appearance: watery and sober. The French fries served with it were full of fat. Another dish was roulades: here too the meat was quite firm and dry. All of the side salads were ok, but instead of being attractively presented with dressing, they were stuffed into a small bowl and swimming in a white soup. Other dishes - fish and roast beef - were okay. There was nothing to complain about here. The cakes and tarts that were served later were also good. Maybe we had a bad day with the service - it wasn't a lack of friendliness but rather a lack of routine, but the kitchen wasn't convincing - price and performance didn't match here.

We went here twice for lunch. If you sit outside, you are immersed in nature, you can see chickens and geese. If it is cool there are blankets, many places are covered. there are sheep somewhere. The food is tasty but it is not for guests in a hurry. You eat in a country inn and like to slow down. It also seems cozy inside. I can't judge the rooms.

Very proud prices. After two beers you can buy a case on the go. Food expensive too.

A wonderfully peaceful and idyllic spot like from another world - I was able to canoe with my two boys down an enchanted little canal right into the garden, wow. Trampolines, swings, pedal scooters - everything is there and a very clean toilet for the night on the tent meadow. Wake up in the morning by the crane to a rich, delicious breakfast with fabulously fresh, homemade Bircher-style muesli and wonderfully spicy home-baked Demeter rolls. The highlight was the staff - especially when they drove the left-behind tent after us the next day...really the best and natural hospitality - no hypothermic northern Germans! Thank you very much, the Kasch family, we would love to come back!

If you want to dine in the restaurant at this country inn, you should check the prices on the menu beforehand. An urban upscale restaurant can keep up with that. We had 3 herrings for €25 and a 200g steak for €36. The fried potatoes were from the deep fryer, the salad had no dressing because it was just at the bottom of the bowl. No reason to come back.

On a first-name basis with the wild geese The Landgasthof Kasch impresses not only with its location on Lake Behler, on the edge of a nature reserve, with its flora and fauna. No, the country inn impresses with the helpful, friendly people who work there and look after the guests. Thorsten Kasch (“Kaschi”) and his son Lasse ensure a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant, on the terrace and throughout the entire farm. The breakfast and cuisine on offer leave nothing to be desired. All products offered come from the region or even from the farm itself. We can only recommend this oasis of well-being. You can really enjoy nature there and if a spider gets into a guest room (it's a COUNTRY inn!!), you'll quickly find a helping hand to take it back outside. Idyllically located. A place to relax. The staff is out of this world. I haven't experienced such helpfulness in a long time. I can only get around with a walker but I forgot it when booking. Now I have a ground floor room. My luggage was brought to my room. The service during the meal was super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and menu are excellent and super tasty. Any time. The food was extremely tasty, we sat under a large oak tree, very homely. Service was mediocre: unfortunately one of the waiters didn't have it at all, 8 drinks for 7 people at the next table, despite accepting the order on a tray, and the requested wine list at the other table didn't come either. 3 course surprise menu... the surprise was that no dessert came after more than an hour, my companion had already left because she didn't want to wait any longer, and as an apology the full price was charged instead of a reduction in the price I rejected a coffee as an alternative, which is unfortunately inflexible and unprofessional! The service as a whole successfully passes empty plates and glasses instead of taking them away.

When you look at it from the outside you first think, oh, it looks pretty old. But if you look behind the facade, you will see a great beer garden, a mega property with trees, a view of a pond and a pasture. Swings, slides, trampolines, pedal cars, bobby cars and free-roaming animals invite children of all ages to linger. Very nice and courteous service staff, delicious food and a great ambience. We felt very comfortable.

We arrived today by canoe from Eutin and had a fantastic, very tasty and rich lunch with local products of the highest quality as usual. Children were enthusiastic and we were able to continue our journey in the canoes feeling well fortified. However, it would be good if the signpost in the Schwend were cut free again.

Super delicious chocolate cake 👌. Nice and clunky, just perfect! The cappuccino with oat milk was also really tasty 😊 It's nice and quiet outside with a wonderful view.

The outdoor areas are unkempt and the wind of the renovation backlog blows everywhere. I'm not picky, but how the overnight prices are determined would be interesting to find out. The same applies to the restoration. The food is of good quality but at ridiculous prices.

We were guests at the Landgasthof Kasch today and I have to say - all in all it was really disappointing. Sure, the location is great, we sat in the garden and it was a nice atmosphere with good weather. The staff was unfriendly, reacted with irritation and finally “complained” that we took “too long” to choose our drinks. The food came and the first impression was good, the portions were reasonable and it looked tasty and appetizing - which is to be expected given the prices. I had the plaice with fried potatoes - the fried potatoes were just greasy and they didn't taste like anything except old fat. In my plaice there was a black, wobbly, unappetizing piece, it turned out - it was the roe. I have never experienced anything like this because they actually remove them in every restaurant. But, something like that can happen too, the waiter accepted it in a friendly manner and wanted to pass it on to the kitchen - in the end they didn't accept anything, not even a drink, a coffee or something similar, no apology. Finally, a service person cleared away our drinks and glasses, even though we were still sitting - which somehow felt like we were being thrown out. Well, unfortunately the first and last time - even if the surroundings are really beautiful.

We took a hike around the Dieksee - the country inn is located in an idyllic location halfway. We sat outside under the shade of a tree and it was beautiful. The service was very friendly and the coffee and ice cream were very tasty. The nature all around - what more do you need. We will be back!

The biggest problem is the service, which was extremely rude despite friendly inquiries. It makes you wonder whether you really need it in your free time. Otherwise: You can make a Wiener Schnitzel for €30, but then it has to be good and not dry like here. Drinks prices completely absurd. Cake prices up to just under €8. There is certainly something better.

The atmosphere outside in the garden is very nice. The chickens and ducks run around freely. Are there other animals there too? Children are allowed to run around and play. Starter OK. But unfortunately the main course wasn't so good. Beans were hard, there were few potatoes and the chicken schnitzel consisted almost entirely of breading. There was no response to our complaint, which we even reported to two waitresses. Unfortunately, not even an apology. We're not going there anymore.

Even though Monday is actually a day of rest, we happened to meet someone at the inn. After walking a good 6 km here from Bad Malente, we were warmly welcomed with a cold draft beer. That's what I call service!

We visited the restaurant during our bike tour. The restaurant looks very nice and is located on the water. We ordered 2 burgers. My deer burger was very tasty. I thought the homemade roll was great! The meat was very tasty and tender. The service was very nice and attentive. We can highly recommend the restaurant to everyone!

A restaurant in a fantastic setting. A menu that contains only a few but very promising dishes. Unfortunately, the implementation left something to be desired. The starters served were not objectionable and very successful. However, the main courses were very disappointing. Green beans served as a side dish were almost raw, potato pancakes were as hard as a biscuit, 4 small half potatoes with a beef roulade are definitely not enough, a breaded chicken schnitzel that was pounded so thin that the breading was almost thicker. In terms of taste, the dishes were good but the price/performance ratio was absolutely poor. We expected much more here and have received it in the past. The restaurant is not recommended at this level. The complaints were also made known to the waitresses but there was no response, we were very disappointed!

We were there on May 1st and had a very tasty meal. Matje's housewife style and a super delicious salad. Both beautifully prepared. In a more than wonderful atmosphere, familiar, very friendly and accommodating. This wonderful place is also very suitable for families with children because it is so spacious in the garden. It can also certainly be easily integrated into hikes, bike tours and the 5 Lakes trip. We sat outside, the weather and everything around it was just great and we will definitely stop by here again on our next vacation! Wir hatten für den 2. Weihnachtstag um 13:45 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt und vorweg einen Bestellschein ausgefüllt und übermittelt. Wir konnten nicht pünktlich um 13:45 Uhr zu unserem Tisch. Das Mittagsmenü kam um 15:20 Uhr - für meine Verhältnisse viel zu spät! Da hätte ich eher schon ein Stück Kuchen essen können. Vielleicht sollte man nicht so viele Tische vergeben wenn man diese nicht in einer entsprechenden Zeit bedienen kann. Das Essen an sich war aber qualitativ sehr gut und lecker. Allerdings habe ich einen falschen Salat zu meinem Menü gereicht bekommen. Es wurde zwar gesagt, dass man diesen nachbessern würde aber ich war sowieso schon so genervt vom langen Warten, dass ich dieses ablehnte.

Zu Weihnachten hatten wir uns Essen für zuhause bestellt. Die Abholung war unproblematisch, das Essen praktisch verpackt. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Und nachdem der Wildbraten vertilgt ist, kann ich sagen, dass die Menge sehr, sehr gut war und der Geschmack einfach wunderbar! Einfach super lecker und immer wieder gerne! P. S.: Die Portion Wildbraten in Soße mit Knödel, Rosenkohl und Rotkohl hat 25,90 € gekostet und war jeden Cent mehr als wert.

Preis Leistung steht in einem schlechten Verhältnis.

Waren bei hier zum Essen für einen besondren Tag, auf den wir uns sehr gefreut haben, Ambiente und Speisekarte, frdl.Personal gefielen uns sehr! Wir warteten 1 Std trotz Reservierung. Bei einem der allerteuersten Gerichte hatten wir trocknes Fleisch, Soße, Klöße aus der Tüte, zerkochtes Gemüse. Wir sind enttäuscht u traurig, daran kann Gratis Schnäpschen (!) auch nichts ändern! Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant, heute war nicht viel los. Wahrscheinlich lag es Sturm. Super lecker Scholle, Sauerfleisch und kleine Schweinerei gegessen. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder

Wir waren zu zweit mit den Rädern von Eutin nach Plön unterwegs und kamen zufällig am Landgasthof Kasch vorbei. Wir wurden nett begrüßt, saßen mitten im Grünen und wurden (als Veganer/ Vegetarier) überrascht: Super leckere Gerichte, gute Portionen und wirklich lecker! Wir dachten: Vielleicht kommen wir auch mal als Hotelgäste wieder.

Essen war lecker, sehr teuer, Portionen sehr übersichtlich ( Sauerfleisch - Bratkartoffeln, beim Pannfisch war deutlich mehr auf dem Teller ). Wenn sich in dieser Preiskategorie niemand erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist - traurig. Personal wirkte überfordert

September 2021: Waren dort zum Abendessen. Zu der Zeit fand die Galloway Woche statt mit vielen Gerichten vom Galloway Rind. Hatten uns für den Galloway Roastbeef Burger entschieden. War, mit Orangensauce, völlig neues Erlebnis aber sehr lecker. In der Hauptsaison Tischreservierung empfehlenswert. Nachtrag September 2023 : Erneuter Kurzurlaub in dieser Gegend. Da wollten wir uns den Burger-Tag nicht entgehen lassen. Der Kaschburger mit Süßkartoffelpommes war richtig lecker und gut, den würden wir wieder nehmen. Klasse ist auch, dass man hier mit seinem Kajak direkt von der Schwentiene aus in den Garten des Landgasthauses paddeln kann, um sich dort mit leckerem Kuchen oder Torten zu stärken.

⭐️ Sehr leckere Küche in mitten ostholsteinischen Seenplatte ⭐️ Auf dem Landgasthof Kasch wird man freundlich von der schönen Atmosphäre und dem jungen Personal empfangen. Ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten gibt es sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Die Speisekarte ist üppig und hier ist für jeden etwas dabei. Das Essen wurde zügig serviert und schmeckte hervorragend. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist angemessen. Alles in allem komme ich gerne wieder und freue mich jetzt schon auf den nächsten Besuch an einem lauen Herbsttag ⭐️

LECKER! Sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer, wir durften unseren Hund mitbringen. Interessante, schöne Gegend. Waren im Rahmen einer Familienfeier dort, empfehlenswert!

Schöne Landschaft und ländliches Ambiente. Ruhig und idyllisch gelegen. Sehr gute Hausmannskost zu angemessenen Preisen. Der Service ist aufmerksam und sehr nett. Ich habe direkt wieder einen Tisch reserviert, um es noch einmal genießen zu können.

Came here for lunch. It was one of very few places in the area that is open on a Wednesday. Most restaurants in the area open Thursday to Sunday. Our meal was excellent, the waitress quick, helpful and friendly. The restaurant opened at 14.00, we arrived at exactly 14.00 and the restaurant was alread busy. We sat inside, but outside seating is available, chicken run free in the garden and there are boats and go carts available to use.
