Man wird Herzlich aufgenommen, wird freundlich bedient und man kann sich sehr gut mit dem Wirt unterhalten.

Ich hatte das Rumpsteak mit Bratkartoffeln und das war sehr lecker, Ambiente und der Service waren gut.

Das Essen und die Bedienung sind super, deswegen alleine muss man schon hier hin gehen... Das einzige was uns nicht so gefallen hat sind die weissen Bodenfliesen, als wenn man in eine Küche kommt und nicht in ein Restaurant...die gemütliche gutbürgerliche Atmosphäre kommt da leider nicht so richtig auf. Wir waren sonst sehr begeistert und kommen gerne wieder...

Wir waren mit vier Personen in der Gerüchteküche in Malente und waren rundum zufrieden. Sehr leckere deutsche Küche, gute Auswahl auf der Speisekarte, große Portionen und ein wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Vom Rumsteak über Brathering bis zum Fischgericht waren alle Gerichte sehr lecker. Freundlicher Service und angenehme Atmosphäre – können wir definitiv weiterempfehlen und würden wiederkommen.

Das es noch so eine gute Qualität gibt in der heutigen Zeit ist außergewöhnlich.

Wir waren heute Abend auf Empfehlung hier Essen, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Vom Service übers Essen, einfach nur Top. Hier wird definitiv noch mit Liebe und frisch gekocht. Portionen und Preisleistung einfach nur Top. Hier fühlt sich der Gast Willkommen. Vielen Dank dafür.

Die Preise für Essen sind noch erschwinglich und das Essen ist gut.

Wir haben den Oster-Karpfen genossen. Auf den Punkt gegart, super lecker. Sehr freundlicher kompetenter Service. Ein Muss: Reservieren!

Die Gerüchteküche in Malente ist mittlerweile eine feste Intuition und das Lokal gibt es gefühlt seit über 10 Jahre. War für die Besitzer sicherlich nicht immer einfach, aber wir wurden freundlich empfangen (zu dritt) und hatten einen schönen Tisch am Fenster. Mit den bestellten Gerichten waren wir sehr zufrieden, aber auch der Service ist freundlich, knackig und auf den Punkt. Alles in allem eine runde Angelegenheit und wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis finden wir übrigens als angemessen und gut.

Nach meinem Geschmack etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Bedienung war gut und schnell. Beim Essen ist Luft nach oben.

Wirklich faire Preise, nettes und gemütliches Ambiente, gutes Essen, alles frisch, hausgemacht und lecker und freundlicher Service. Heute Mittag wieder zum Essen zu dritt da gewesen.Die Küche ist unglaublich gut.Service Top .Alle Tische waren besetzt. Einfach lecker und nicht zu überbieten.

Wunderbarer Hamburger Pannfisch. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Ambiente ist zuerst nicht so sehr ansprechend, es hat den Charme der 80er, aber man sitzt ruhig und das Essen ist hervorragend. Die Preise sind günstig insbesondere wenn man die Qualität der Speisen bedenkt.

Gutes Essen, Preise angemessen, Servicepersonal etwas unterbesetzt für den Andrang. Räumlichkeiten könnten etwas gemütlicher eingerichtet sein und die Temperatur etwas erhöht werden.

Sehr nettes Lokal mit solider wie man es so schön nennt gut bürgerlicher Auswahl in sehr guter Qualität. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist sehr gut ein reelles Lokal ohne Schickschnack. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Mittagstisch tolle leckere Gerichte die Rinderleber gebraten ein Gedicht und das Schollen Filet auch. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und nett. Gerne wieder😉

Kleine Karte aber Auswahl mehr als ausreichend. Essen war schmackhaft und Portionsgröße war gut. Waren auch zweimal bei unseren Kurzaufenthalt in Malente dort zum Essen gewesen.

Essen war von guter Qualität und auch sehr lecker. Portionen nichts für den ganz großen Hunger. Preis/Leistung aber insgesamt O.K. Ambiente leider nicht so doll 😕 Ein einlaminiertes, doppelseitiges Blatt, als Speisekarte? Kann man schöner machen! Personal nett und sehr bemüht 👍

A very nice restaurant with a solid selection of very good quality. The price-performance ratio is very good; a real, no-nonsense place. The only thing that could be improved is the interior ambiance; the wall color seems rather cold; a beige tone would help with the flooring, too, and then please add the old-fashioned oak look.

We had a wonderful visit at Gerüchteküche in Malente. We ordered the Jägerschnitzel, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was crispy, the mushroom sauce rich and tasty, and the fried potatoes golden and crunchy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and we felt at home right away. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, perfect for a nice dinner. All in all, a great experience. We will happily come back and can highly recommend this place.

A very nice restaurant, conveniently located near the city center. It was difficult to find a restaurant open on a Wednesday, but we were able to stop here. The owner was very accommodating and fulfilled our every need. The fried potatoes are cooked to perfection—highly recommended, nice and crispy and not greasy. The fish is also very tasty. I liked the ambiance. I would happily eat here again, even if it weren't so far away. We were here on vacation.

Great service and excellent food. The mustard sauce with the pan-fried fish was divine. On the second evening, we had asparagus and boiled potatoes, a phenomenon for us; here in the Hesse region, we only get standard fries and croquettes. Your fried potatoes are superb, perfectly matched to the dishes, unlike a nearby country inn, where they're served half-raw for a lot of money. We'd love to come back, but unfortunately not until next year.

The ambiance was okay, but it could have been better. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, so it took a while. We had pan-fried fish and Balkan-style schnitzel. Both were delicious. Unfortunately, they only serve two schnitzels, but sauce is only available for one. Extra sauce costs an extra €3.50. A shame, but 🤷‍♀️

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch. The super-delicious fried fish, boiled potatoes instead of potato salad were no problem, and the more than sharp-witted waiter delighted us. The food was super fresh and hot. The ambiance loses a point, as we were seated right next to the kitchen, and the smell of cooking and the napkins, due to the waiter's swing, wafted through the swinging kitchen door. Unfortunately, there was no window that could be opened. It was my first time there and certainly won't be the last.

Leckeres Essen zu angemessenen Preisen . Ambiente könnte gemütlicher sein , aber es ist ok. Auch wenn es auf den ersten Eindruck nicht so gemütlich und ansprechend wirkt ,ist das Essen letztendlich überzeugend .

Friendly staff, delicious food, slightly rustic atmosphere

Wir waren zu viert zum Abendessen und haben aus der Karte vier verschiedene Gerichte ausgesucht. Jedes einzelne Essen war hervorragend, sowohl von der Qualität der Zutaten als auch von dem Geschmack. Der Service war zurückhaltend, aber gleichzeitig sehr freundlich und präsent. Wir waren vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis begeistert und kommen sicher wieder.

Birthday dinner with a total of ten people on a Sunday lunchtime. Direct hit! Very nice, courteous innkeeper. Short wait until all drinks were served. Normal waiting time until everyone (!) has been served their hot, freshly prepared meal - a la card. It tasted excellent, among other things. Grilled plates, chicken, and everyone was full and happy. We'll be back!!!

I was there last night and unfortunately I have to say it was absolutely nothing. I had previously seen the menu online - very meat-heavy and small, but I found a dish with 2 schnitzels, 2 fried eggs and fried potatoes... wonderful, fried eggs with fried potatoes, my favorite dish... when I was there and said that I would like to have this, the not-so-nice gentleman said that wouldn't work... I said, 'but here... you just have to leave out the schnitzel...' No, that wouldn't work... Wow... that's really inflexible... Of course I could have returned the two schnitzels on the plate, but throwing food away isn't my thing... So I had little other choice and in an emergency I ordered herring with fried potatoes... hmm, what can I say... there was bacon in the fried potatoes and that doesn't go well with herring at all... that's also noted on the menu! I have a strong suspicion that this is a large bag of gastro fried potatoes that are already peeled and topped with bacon... off to the pan, that's it... I was annoyed afterwards that I still gave a tip... because you only give it if the service was great, but it wasn't... I absolutely can't recommend the shop and I will never go there again

We spontaneously came here for dinner and the menu was so delicious to read that we changed our minds several times. Finally it was the grill plate with rump steak, chicken breast, pork medallion and fries, with onions and mushrooms And for me a colorful salad. Because we had read so much about the fried potatoes, of course they had to be... We both shared dishes and side dishes and we can BOTH say it was all very, very tasty! For dessert we shared the Swedish cup with bourbon vanilla ice cream, applesauce, eggnog and cream. This was in no way inferior in taste to our main courses! It was extremely well attended and a reservation seems to make a lot of sense here, we were very lucky! The herbal liqueur No.1 also tasted good! We'd love to come back!

Fantastic food. We got a table for the same day and were very satisfied with the service and the speed of serving. But the quality of the food in particular is top notch. Fresh ingredients, well prepared and seasoned. The salad was crispy. We were very satisfied and would like to come again.

In my opinion, unfriendly service. Two older women came in front of us and were immediately shouted at when they were looking for a suitable table. The information was meant for you and us: all tables were occupied. When I commented to everyone that there were still empty tables without a reservation sign, I was cheekily replied that the tables remained empty. I asked to be a little more friendly, the waitress said: We are understaffed. He saw that my husband has a disability. Was sent away despite the many empty tables.

Access is via stairs, dining is indoors and outdoors. The prices are a little higher but the taste is good. Cash and card payments are possible

***** The Rumerküche restaurant completely impressed us with its fish dishes! The hake with mustard sauce was a poem - tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned, while the mustard sauce gave the dish a wonderfully spicy touch. The Hamburg panfish, prepared with three different types of fish, was also an absolute highlight: crispy fried, excellently seasoned and a real taste explosion. Both dishes were not only a culinary delight, but also visually appealing. A visit to the Rumor Mill is a must for every fish lover!

Ein sehr angenehmes, ruhiges Restaurant in dem man entspannt ein sehr leckeres Essen genießen kann. Wir waren am ersten Tag unseres Urlaubs da und kamen innerhalb von 10 Tagen noch zweimal vorbei. Egal ob Grillplatte, Hamburger Pannfisch oder Salat mit Hähnchenbrust, alles ein Hochgenuß. Zum Nachtisch "mußten" wir jedesmal das unwiderstehliche Schokotörtchen und dazu einen Haselnuß Brand wählen. Dazu freundlicher Service - perfekt!

A very pleasant, quiet restaurant where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal. We were there on the first day of our vacation and came back twice more within 10 days. Whether it's a grill platter, hamburger panfish or a salad with chicken breast, everything is a real treat. For dessert we always "had" to choose the irresistible chocolate cake and a hazelnut brandy. Plus friendly service - perfect!

Vi fik klassisk tysk mad. En schnitzel hver. Det var ok, men heller ikke mere. Tilbehøret var uinspirerende og kedeligt. Vi tænkte egentlig, at vi kunne have lavet det bedre selv. Stedet var bedre, da vi spiste der for nogle år siden.

Nice welcome, even though I was traveling alone. I was allowed to sit at a table for four. As a Baden resident you are happy when there is Baden wine. I had hake fillet with parsley potatoes, and Dijon sauce and salad. The food was wonderful. Big compliments to the kitchen. Maybe it will work and I'll come by again.

Food was very tasty and homemade. The portions were very good and the prices were really reasonable. The friendliness of operation can still be optimized. If the first restaurants hadn't been full, we honestly would have left after the "welcome". At some tables the chairs were leaned against the table. Due to a lack of staff, you shouldn't sit there, which could have been said more nicely. There are sun and shade spots on the terrace.
