Very nice and elegant place, kind and competent owner. We will definitely be back, I highly recommend it, but only to those who love beautiful things.

We spent 4 nights at the Hotel Wendl at the end of October. It was wonderful, we were able to relax and unwind - also thanks to the courteous service. We used the wellness area with infrared cabin and Finnish sauna every evening. The breakfast was well stocked and offered plenty of healthy food, so that we could set off on our hikes well fortified. The location in Freyung is ideal: a good starting point for the national park and at the same time the city life of a small town with shopping opportunities. The rooms face south, so there is no noise from the street. Gladly again!

Aanrader! Heerlijk eten en top bediening. Adresje van de wijnhandel mee gekregen om zo nog een paar lekkere flesjes wijn mee naar Nederland te kunnen nemen. We komen wanneer we in de buurt zijn, zeker een keer terug.

We actually wanted to book this hotel because of the good reviews using a Jochen Schweizer voucher that we received as a gift. But unfortunately we keep getting rejected. So only one star. Very unfortunate.

Excellent hotel, we stayed here one night and wished we would stay longer to try more dishes from the restaurant’s menu. The food was delicious and we were happy about the focus on local cuisine and specialities. Quiet, clean and cozy room. Breakfast was also great, extra plus for the bread and pastries quality. Friendly staff that spoke English. We loved everything about our stay.

End-of-year dinner with the family. Reservation worked wonderfully. 6 p.m. on time in the restaurant, the goose fat and bread quickly arrived, after 20 minutes we finally had drinks. Drinks came after over 40 minutes. After another 30 minutes we were able to order the food, appetizer after over! 1 hour and 45 minutes. Main course after almost 2 hours and 15 minutes. Dessert after 2 hours and 40 minutes. Food and preparation good, can't complain, just enough in quantity, price in the upper segment. Roundabout, for a Sunday evening, sure, we're not on the run, but we would have ordered a little more now and then if the waitress had paid us some attention. Our entire stay dragged on for 3 hours and 30 minutes, which was definitely too much for a Sunday evening when everyone had to leave on Monday. For the price and performance, we were a little lacking in the extra flair. It felt like the kitchen was a bit overloaded due to the rush at 6 p.m.

A beautiful 3 star hotel in Landsberg. The hotel is in a country house style, but still modern and very clean. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very lovingly prepared. Coffee of your choice is made fresh by the nice service ladies and brought to the table. We liked it very much. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back again.

Very tasty food and rich breakfast. Rooms are a bit older

Was there on Tuesday for dinner with a business colleague. Very good food. Not exactly cheap - but you get what you pay for. The service/operation leaves nothing to be desired. The menu selection for dishes is - let's say: modest. But there is something for everyone. And the “something” is also very good for that. All in all: Very good value for money. You can eat really well and comfortably here.

Years of constant construction work, the former star temple has now been deflated and permanently closed.

I celebrated my big birthday. Tables and rooms were prepared with a lot of love. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. Staff, service and flexibility were impeccable. Many thanks to the Riede that this day will be remembered forever.

Unfortunately, the spa area is a bit old. But otherwise very nice! Scrambled eggs were added especially for us! Thank you! ❤️
