Were only in the restaurant. Very good food, great service. Price/performance ok

We were there for a meeting - nice conference room, sufficient and good food, but the lunch was lukewarm and overly salty. That could be better...

Nice, quiet hotel with clean rooms and a delicious restaurant.

The hotel is a bit away from Ulm but in a quiet location and Ulm can be easily reached by bus in about 15 minutes. The Hotel Löwen restaurant with its very good and fine meat and fish dishes and other seasonal dishes is highly recommended. The staff are also very friendly and pamper the guests. A warm greeting to the service employee Pietro who pampered us and gave us a good attitude. Grazie mille. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again and can highly recommend the Hotel Löwen in Ulm.

Excellent hotel, we stayed here one night and wished we would stay longer to try more dishes from the restaurant’s menu. The food was delicious and we were happy about the focus on local cuisine and specialities. Quiet, clean and cozy room. Breakfast was also great, extra plus for the bread and pastries quality. Friendly staff that spoke English. We loved everything about our stay.

A typical german gasthof with restaurant. Hotel - descent price for the quality they offer, nice clean rooms, very friendly employees. Breakfast - 15€, all you need, but nothing special. Definitely not enough fruit for me. Rastaurant - this time I ate vegan and it was great. Fantastic pumpkin soup with perfectly measured quantity of pumpkin oil nad seeds in it. Taste was natural, perfectly spiced. It is not hard to make a good pumpkin soup, so the devil lies in details. Their great detail was good pumpkin oil. Vegan curry was also fantastic, portion even a bit too big for me, taste perfect with grilled vegetables inside. I took a side salad, where they put some mustard in dressing, just as I like it and how you will find salad in many german restaurants. I will not lose time with explaining beer. Beer is in Germany always good, no matter where you drink it and no matter what type of beer yo order. It is a land of beer. I was here before and I will sure be back again. One of the best gasthouses in Ulm. Highly recommend it.

Nice and very well maintained hotel near Ulm. Very tasty dinner! It was very accommodating that we were immediately offered a small map with nice, nearby “walkies” for our dog. We walked the same route, partly along the river, in the morning.

The price-performance ratio is not right. 👎

Very good food, very friendly attentive staff

We stayed at the Hotel & Gasthof Löwen for one night with our son as a stopover. We received a very warm welcome, the room was very clean, the team was without exception courteous, helpful and friendly. The dinner & breakfast in the inn was delicious, freshly prepared and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. Children are welcome. We felt comfortable and can absolutely recommend the hotel.

We will definitely come back!!!!!! The location of the hotel was as stated, there was a great transport connection to the city center. The entire staff, especially the boss, were very helpful and friendly. The service was good, the room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. For our little daughter, the dog Fritz was the icing on the cake. Clear recommendation.

We regularly go to the Löwen Restaurant and are always impressed by the quality of the food and the service. Unfortunately, prices have now risen so much that we are currently affording this pleasure much less frequently.

We celebrated our wedding in the large hall and can only say praise. Everything was extremely organized, special requests were catered for, the food was fantastic and the service was more than nice and accommodating. You can tell that you are a well-coordinated team. The rooms are very nice and were also highly praised by our guests. We can only recommend you and have more than positive memories of our days with you.

09.06.24 - last night we were invited by friends to the Gasthof Löwen again. First: The food was again very good, the price (although high) and performance were again good given the quality of the food. The portions were so large that a small food package could be taken with you. The service was quick and we were repeatedly asked if everything was okay and if we had any further requests. From this point of view we (10 people at a table) were very satisfied. BUT: What didn't work at all was the noise level from an event above the restaurant. My watch reminded me that 70dB over a long period of time can damage hearing. A conversation between everyone involved at the table was only possible with great concentration. Some of the windows vibrated. The bass that reached us suggested disco music. Only when the group above us had a meal break did the noise reduce to around 60dB, which already seemed pleasant to us. The attempt to reduce noise using a service staff had little success. The noise level was reduced from the initial approx. 80dB to the mentioned approx. 70dB. Dissatisfaction with the noise could also be clearly heard at the tables next to us. We were particularly sorry for the wedding party of 12 people who took their seats shortly before we left the restaurant. Everyone's faces showed clear dissatisfaction with the noise. Unfortunately, at such meetings with friends and acquaintances, there is hardly any alternative means of escape at short notice. Where can you escape to with 10 or 12 people without a reservation? We would have liked to have stayed longer and had something to drink, but it was just too loud for us. Our conclusion: I would be happy to eat at the Gasthof Löwen again. But ask beforehand which events are taking place at the same time and then, if necessary, reschedule the date accordingly. December 2023: Friendly staff, quick service and we were again very satisfied with the taste. Not cheap, but quality costs money. Addendum. We had dinner at Löwen a few days ago. We each had a pan of chanterelles. The taste was again very good and plentiful. However, we each ordered a white/sour wine spritzer. This is not recommended. Next time we'll order water. It's cheaper and probably doesn't taste any different than the watered down drink we were served.

In the middle of Wiblingen. Right on the street but the rooms are at the back and therefore quiet.

Stayed there with 2 dogs while in transit. We got a nice room on the ground floor, which made walking the dogs easier. Good staff with good price/performance ratio. Any time

At the restaurant we were not given a drinks menu and the food options (except for 2 starters) only had meat. No main course that at least contained fish or another alternative. Then I just took the small salad, which was one of the only non-meat dishes. And there was just a dead beetle on the lettuce leaf (which also looked dead for a long time). And then the waitress said: “Yes, it’s normal with a salad”. No, it is not normal to wash the lettuce leaves beforehand. Who knows what else is in the other dishes. Prices also way too expensive. Can't understand the good recessions at all

The rating applies exclusively to the restaurant: There is delicious Swabian home-style cuisine of a really good standard and with modern influences. Requests are responded to in a very friendly manner, everything went quickly and the food tasted great! The quality of the food was very good, absolutely justified price-performance ratio. The service staff are all attentive and courteous! I've already eaten at Löwen twice and will definitely come back! Furnishings, cleanliness, choice of drinks etc. everything was wonderful

A nice modern hotel with large rooms and chic bathrooms. The employees are all very friendly and polite. There is also a very good selection of different foods at the breakfast buffet. The restaurant has a good selection of regional dishes and the price-performance ratio is okay. Of course the food was also delicious.

The food is really excellent and the service is outstanding too! I can highly recommend this restaurant. An all-round successful culinary experience – I’ll definitely be back!

We had our family Christmas dinner there; Although it tasted very good, I was a little disappointed with my portion for the price I paid. We were also surprised that the prices for the "pre-Christmas card" were increased again compared to the "Christmas card".

3 thin slices of sauerbraten, mixed with a thick tendon, unfortunately tough...2 slices of dumplings......I can't recommend it.....when I commented that the meat wasn't good, all I got was the answer. ..that's always the case...food wasn't warm either...

Had Cordon Blue with spaetzle and cream sauce, which I really enjoyed. The Pinot Noir Rose quarter had too much acid. The price is way too high €8.30. Service OK and friendly.

First time ever visited Ulm with great hospitality by Lowen team. Would strongly recommend to stay here in Ulm for driving Romantic Road for visiting Rothenburg on de Tauber, Nordlingen, Wurzburg, Bamberg, Nuremberg and many more cities

Essen hat in der Qualität noch Luft nach oben, Mitarbeitende scheinen nicht unbedingt Spaß an Ihrer Tätigkeit zu haben.

Scelto cena tipica della zona. Purtroppo la peggiore cena a Ulm da tanto. Käsespätzle pessimi, Zwiebelrostbraten da cercare con il binocolo e cipolle tipo gimma da masticare. Solo l'insalatina e la cortesia del personale salva un punteggio peggiore. Qualità/prezzo pessimo. Peccato. Personalmente eviterò e non consiglierò il ristorante. In albergo non sono stato.

Super freundliches Personal Super Essen 👍 Habe nicht übernachten da wir geschäftlich nur einen Tag Seminar hatten.

Durch den Fine-Dine-Gutschein sind wir auf den Gasthof Löwen aufmerksam geworden. Nachdem uns die Gastfreundschaft und der Zwiebelrostbraten an dem Freitagabend schlichtweg umgehauen haben, waren wir zwei Tage später gleich wieder dort, um die Rinderrouladen zu verkosten. Das ist moderne, ehrliche Wirtshausküche auf höchstem Niveau. Die 60 km werden uns davon nicht abhalten, wieder zu kommen.

Wir waren am Samstag zum Mittagessen dort und haben Rindsrouladen mit hausgemachtem Kartoffelpüree gegessen. Kann man kaum besser machen: Das Fleisch war zart und das Pürree fluffig. Einzig die Soße dürfte mehr Schmackes haben und ein paar Stückchen Gemüse mehr wären auch nicht verkehrt. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Einrichtung angenehm schlicht und geschmackvoll, nicht überdekoriert. Es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz für Gäste. Gerne wieder!

Essen war sehr lecker, aber eher im oberen Preissegment. Ehrlich gekocht, sehr , sehr freundliche Bedienung, schneller Service, sehr gerne jeder Zeit wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Vielen Dank dem Hotel- und Bedienungspersonal. Alle sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, flott und flexibel. Die Speisen sind regional, saisonal, huebsch angerichtet und sehr lecker. Mein Zimmer war sauber, effizient, geraeumig und ruhig. Das beruehmte Kloster Wiblingen ist zu Fuss erreichbar, die Busanbindung in die absolut sehenswerte Stadt Ulm voellig problemlos. Die Wahl des Hotel&Gasthof Loewen war perfekt fuer unser Familientreffen: ein voller Erfolg! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im großen Saal gefeiert mit 75 Gästen. Organisation und Durchführung war top! Ebenso das Essen, unsere Gäste und wir waren begeistert. Es war erstklassig und kann nur empfohlen werden. Ganz großes Lob an das gesamte Team!

Klasse familiengeführtes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, alles ist blitzsauber. Sein Auto kann man kostenlos parken, auf Sonderwünsche wurde direkt eingegangen und diese wurden sofort erfüllt. Wenn ich mal wieder in Ulm bin, buche ich hier nochmal. Vielen Dank liebe Familie Geiger!

Wij hebben dit hotel willekeurig gekozen op de terugreis van Italië naar Nederland. Fijn hotel, vriendelijk personeel, schone kamer met fijne bedden en lekker gegeten. Ook de afstand van en naar de doorgaande snelweg was goed.

Liebes Team vom Löwen, wir haben im Mai diesen Jahres unsere Hochzeitsfeier bei euch ausgerichtet. Diese Bewertung ist deshalb schon lange überfällig und absolut verdient mit 5/5 Sternen! Wir wurden von Anfang an perfekt betreut. An dieser Stelle ein großes Lob an Hr. Gruschke. Auf alle Fragen haben wir innerhalb kürzester Zeit ausführliche Antworten erhalten, er hat in allen Situationen mitgedacht und Ideen eingebracht, hat uns rechtzeitig an wichtige Termine erinnert und war dabei immer mega freundlich und mit Spaß und Leidenschaft dabei. Auch das Probeessen war perfekt organisiert und von ihm begleitet. Nun zur Location: die Bilder auf der Homepage sehen schon wunderschön aus, aber steht man selbst im großen Löwensaal mit der Holzkuppel ist es noch 10x schöner. Wirklich traumhaft für eine Hochzeit! Der DJ hatte sein eigenes Eck, dahinter war genug Platz für das Dessertbuffet und die Fotobox hat ebenfalls in einem weiteren kleinen Nebenraum Platz gefunden. Die Bar ist praktischerweise quasi auf der Tanzfläche, so war immer Betrieb und auch die nicht so tanzwütigen Gäste wurden dazu verführt ein Tanzbein zu schwingen. Ebenfalls perfekt für eine Hochzeitsfeier ist das angeschlossene Hotel. Einfach kurz über den Flur laufen und ins Bett fallen lassen. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön, der Aufenthalt jedoch nur sehr kurz, da wir bis zum Ende gefeiert haben und mit Baby der Tag doch recht früh wieder beginnt. :) Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir haben den Löwen schon für unsere Hochzeitsfeier gebucht, ohne dort großartig das Essen probiert zu haben. Seit der Buchung haben wir dem Löwen fast monatlich einen Besuch abgestattet und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Besonders die Saisonkarte war immer ein Gaumenschmaus. Für unsere Hochzeit haben wir ein sehr leckeres Menü zusammengestellt. Auf unsere Sonderwünsche (z. B. Saisongerichte ins Menü aufzunehmen) wurde, soweit es dem Löwen für so einen großen Rahmen möglich ist, problemlos eingegangen. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass wir einen echten Glücksgriff mit dem Löwen gelandet haben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das komplette Team hat, wie wir es auch vom normalen Restaurantbesuch kennen, einen super Job gemacht. Hier stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen! Auch von unseren Gästen haben wir nur positive Rückmeldungen erhalten, sowohl zum Essen, zum Service als auch dem Hotel.
