I stayed at this location for a week on business. Room: Clean, like new condition, simple and very stylish Breakfast: super tasty, high standard, individual requests possible, the bread/rolls were very tasty, it is also possible to specify earlier than officially stated in consultation Staff: Two people, very friendly and helpful, communication with one person mainly in English without any problems, uncomplicated, great service General: Beautiful building, small town with few options, very rural, a fine restaurant on the golf course a few minutes away, quiet location

The lovingly and extremely tastefully renovated school building, the fantastic breakfast, the very good Spanish wines, the delicious food and the warm hospitality form an ideal symbiosis for a relaxed and enjoyable vacation or a short but wonderful weekend. Thank you for all of this.

A really nice hotel in a quiet location. Lots of details and everything furnished with great attention to detail.

Unfortunately we only stayed in this gem for one night, but we could have stayed much longer. Very nice hosts, tasteful, clean rooms, quiet location and an excellent breakfast. Unfortunately we couldn't test the restaurant because it was closed on Sundays. Good starting point for exploring the Kraichgau. We will be back!

Just a great place. We were enthusiastic about the website and the reviews right from the start and were really looking forward to the accommodation. Our stay far exceeded expectations. The hotel: Great, high-quality furnished house, you immediately feel at home when you enter. Rooms: Very stylish and clean rooms, with a great bathroom and a super comfortable bed. Dinner: We were served a very tasty and varied 6-course menu (fish, meat and vegetarian, all freshly prepared by the owner Suchanya), plus excellent Spanish wines (we immediately bought a box to take home 😉) Breakfast: Rich selection of freshly baked bread and rolls (the owner Jean-Marc is a baker!), fruit, vegetables, cold cuts and various egg variations, plus a delicious (oat milk) cappuccino from the portafilter. Suchanya & Jean-Marc: The absolute highlight, however, are Suchanya and Jean-Marc. They are so incredibly warm, helpful and friendly that you feel comfortable and at home from the first second. Suchanya prepares the most delicious food and Jean-Marc answers every little question and even sits down at the table and chats with you (of course only if you want). In summary, I can only give 5/5 stars and simply thank you for this unique stay and the great hospitality. We plan to come back very soon

Relax!!! Both the lovely, enthusiastic owners, top quality food for both breakfast and evenings with delicious wines👌. Excellent room with balcony in a quiet area where you only hear the cozy bells of the church. The room is beautifully decorated with high-quality materials. Near vineyard, hiking and cycling trails. We also spent a day at the thermal baths in Sinsheim. We would love to come back!

We are repeat offenders and were there last year. And I have to say we'll be back, the quality and charm of the house lives on under the new management.

The old school has been beautifully renovated into a beautiful hotel with high-quality materials. Quiet area. We were kindly welcomed. A very tasty and healthy breakfast.

I can't comment on the rooms (hotel) as we were only there for dinner. Great renovated house with chic and charm. Food, there were tapas, everything freshly prepared and of high quality. The prawns were unbeatable! I can recommend the house without reservation. Everything was super good.

We were able to spend a wonderful Pentecost weekend at the Old School and had a get-together at Vino y Tapas on the eve of our wedding. Very stylishly furnished with a fantastic breakfast menu and delicious bread. We would love to come back next year, highly recommended.

We stayed in this hotel for one night, it was an experience from the first to the last minute, there was nothing missing, communication was problem-free from start to finish, even the fact that we checked in after opening hours was problem-free. The rooms and the entire interior design are very upscale, many details and materials have been thought through. The breakfast buffet is second to none, homemade and everything prepared fresh and with a lot of love, we'll be back, absolutely top!!!

Completely thrilled and simply overwhelmed with the attention to detail, the very high quality materials and the Spanish accents in this beautiful hotel. A very friendly and courteous couple as hosts. A breakfast of superlatives...in short, from my point of view, a hotel that I have never experienced before. And I mean that in more than a positive way. 5-star level, but affordable. If you are really looking for something “special”, I can highly recommend the “Old School”. We will be back. Thank you. 🫶🏼

Small hotel in Kraichgau in a lovingly renovated former school building. Given the fantastic breakfast, very reasonable prices too. The hotel is currently run by two people - so if someone doesn't answer the phone right away, just try again later - it's worth it (and don't be alarmed if you're greeted in English). The whole building is very tastefully decorated - especially the reception and the guest room are real gems.

I stayed for one night in this hotel, which was furnished with great attention to detail. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The room and the breakfast room are very elegant and of high quality. The breakfast was very tasty and had everything your heart could desire. From June there will also be a Spanish kitchen. I'll be back then at the latest.

An incredible hotel, and above all exceptional owners who do everything to make your stay perfect. A welcome and service that is both classy and friendly. You can see right away that they love their job. Everything was impeccable. The magnificent room with crazy materials and very refined decoration. Absolute calm as if we were all alone. And the quality bedding that makes you spend a night like on cloud nine. And what about breakfast? Just incredible. Served at the table, a first for us. There was absolutely nothing missing. In short, by far the best hotel we have been to and I can tell you that we have already been to star establishments. All with incredible value for money 🙏 In short, don't hesitate for a single second.

We were there one night and I found out about it through the internet. I really liked the pictures and the atmosphere there. When we got there, we were greeted in a very nice and friendly manner, our room was fantastic with attention to detail and little touches. In addition, everything is very high quality and beautifully furnished. The breakfast in the morning left nothing to be desired, because it was also just PERFECT! I felt like I was in heaven 🤩 The breakfast room also invites you to have a cozy meal. Price performance totally fair!! We will be back definitely!! 🤗

Die Alte Schule Tiefenbach ist eine wunderschön gestaltete Unterkunft, die mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und umgebaut wurde! Thomas ist ein großartiger Gastgeber und das Frühstück ist grandios. Jeden Tag neu, sehr lecker und frisch. Wir kommen in 2024 auf jeden Fall wieder und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Nähe zur Therme in Sinsheim ist auch super.

L'appartamento era molto bello e spazioso, dotato di tutti i confort. Purtroppo il ristorante era chiuso e l'abbiamo scoperto solo al nostro arrivo. Il servizio non è stato all'altezza delle aspettative, non c'era una reception e al nostro arrivo non abbiamo ricevuto istruzioni sulla casa o indicazioni sulle gite da poter fare nella regione. Poi siamo rimasti molto delusi quando abbiamo chiesto di poter fare una lavatrice (ovviamente pagando quanto dovuto); ci hanno risposto che non c'era e ci hanno suggerito di andare a una lavanderia automatica a 30 km di distanza. Poi per caso abbiamo visto al piano terra una lavanderia completamente attrezzata, con lavatrici e asciugatrici. No comment.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel, wir waren im Juli drei Nächte dort, es hat alles gepasst, sehr gute Ausstattung im spanischen Stil, das Frühstück ein Highlight, sehr abwechslungsreich, tägl.eine neue kleine Überraschung und toller Service,(sehr gute Weine), leider hatte das Restaurant auf Grund von Personalmangel geschlossen, unsere absolute Empfehlung und ein großes Dankeschön!

Sehr schöne Zimmer, die sehr stilvoll, hochwertig und bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht eingerichtet sind. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und umfangreich, mit selbst gebackenem Brot, wirklich frischem Orangensaft, ausgewählten Marmeladen und weiteren Beilagen. Der Inhaber ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig in einem kleinen Dorf, aber man erreicht z.B. in 15 Autominuten die Therme Sinsheim.

Tolle Einrichtung. Inhaber/Service sehr zuvorkommend. Grandioses Frühstück. Vom Niveau 5 Sterne zu einem unschlagbaren Preis. Gerne wieder.

Die Unterkunft bekommt von uns fünf Sterne, da einfach alles gepasst hat. Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll und durchdacht eingerichtet, man merkt, dass hier auf Details geachtet wird. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und von anderen Gästen haben wir nichts mitbekommen, Erholung pur. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Man merkt die Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück war Weltklasse; selbstgemachter Joghurt, selbstgemachte Marmelade/Honig sowie Avocado, Garnelen, Melone mit Schinken, selbst gebackenes Brot, frisch gepresster O-Saft, Müsli, sehr gutem Kaffee und und und.. Ich empfehle diese Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter, es ist selten, dass man auf so etwas gut abgestimmtes antrifft, super gut. Wir waren im Übrigen mit unserer 2-jährigen Tochter unterwegs, die es auch toll fand. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Fantastisches Hotel. Mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Technisch hochwertige Ausstattung. Sehr freundlicher und auskunftfreudiger Inhaber. Schade das das Restaurant aufgrund von Personalmangel geschlossen hat. Wenn man in der Gegend ist sollte man dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall versuchen zu buchen. Es sind auch nur 6 Zimmer vorhanden. Zum Frühstück gibt es sogar frisch gebackenes Brot. Meine absolute Empfehlung.

Wir haben 4 Nächte mit unserem Hund Bobby gebucht. Es war unser erstes Mal in Tiefenbach, aber sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal. Die „Alte Schule“ ist ein absolutes Schmuckstück. Mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, von der Bodega bis zu den Zimmern spanisches Flair pur. Durch das individuell zubereitete Frühstück mit täglich wechselnden Köstlichkeiten, selbst gebackenem Brot und frisch zubereitenden Marmeladen einfach nur lecker😋. Die Gastgeber inkl. Ein wunderschön frisch renoviertes Gebäude mit viel Luxus, Sehr ruhige Umgebung mit viel Vogelgezwitscher. Wunderbar zum wandern und zurück kommen.
