We were here for a short vacation and a long weekend. We chose this property because the breakfast was conspicuously praised online. The rooms: It was fine in itself, but had minor repair defects. The handle to the bathroom came towards you and when you turned on the heater in the bathroom, a small panel at the bottom fell off. But otherwise great. Unfortunately we forgot to report these defects. If it hasn't been fixed yet: Room 205. ;) The bathroom was otherwise actually quite stylishly furnished. Unfortunately, the mattresses always pushed apart when you wanted to find each other. That was also a small minus point. Hence the 4/5 stars. The service: The staff was completely amazing! Multilingualism available, everyone was friendly, you could also have a nice chat. A smooth 5/5. The location: Very beautiful scenery! The property is an eye-catcher! Very nicely renovated. It radiates a good mood! It is also located directly on Lake Berzdorf. Also a 5/5! The restaurant: Unfortunately I have to note a lack of vegetarian dishes. That ensured that we didn't go any further. I had a salad the first night. It was tasty! But hardly any vegetarian food in 2025? .... 3/5 The breakfast: The breakfast is very well stocked and tasty. Here too, the service really scores. However, it's not as great as the internet thinks. For example, there was a lack of milk alternatives. All in all, still very good! Big plus point: We can enjoy our latte macchiato in the courtyard or in the room. The additional charge for breakfast was reasonable. 4/5. I think you can easily recommend the hotel and have a nice and quiet time. But be careful! The party room faces the courtyard! If you want to enjoy a quiet stay, you should ask when booking whether the ambience was booked for an event (wedding, etc.). Otherwise it can become rather stressful. :D We would come again.

We celebrated our wedding at the Falkenhardt manor on April 5, 2025 and are incredibly happy about the decision we made. The day was simply perfect, not least thanks to Caro (planning) and Lisa (flowers), who put so much heart and soul into planning our wedding. Everything was super uncomplicated and every wish was read from our lips. Everything was implemented exactly as we wanted. We couldn't have imagined our dream wedding more beautifully. On the day itself everything went perfectly. The entire service team did a great job and the food was incredibly tasty. The feedback from our guests was similar to “great service, mega location, mega flowers - everyone was super nice and warm”. We will never forget this day and are very happy that the entire team did such a great job. We felt super comfortable and simply had nothing to endure. A really nice, cute restaurant with a lot of charm! The owner is incredibly warm and accommodating - you immediately feel welcome. The waiters are also super friendly and attentive. The food is always really tasty and made with a lot of love. I always enjoy coming here – absolute recommendation!

The host family only offers reservations for events. The house itself is quaint and very cozy, you immediately feel at home. It's easy to talk at the tables without being disturbed by the noise level. The meat dish and the dessert were both a poem. Our vegetarians weren't quite as enthusiastic. The service from the landlady was super friendly, cooperative, quick and charming. Any time! The only bitter pill was the price of the total bill. We certainly understand that such an event-only concept and quality simply has its price. But as a customer you have to be aware. I therefore rejected my first impulse to celebrate my big birthday there.

We were there spontaneously after a walk by the lake. The service was great, friendly and open-minded. Fantastic atmosphere on the beautiful Rantzauer Lake. The food was really very good. Everything is great for the price, we'll definitely be back.
