A beautiful hotel with great service and delicious food.

A hotel where you can actually hear the mice coughing. We haven't experienced such a quiet hotel in a long time.

We had already booked in August for the Christmas brunch on December 25th. reserved. When we showed up yesterday we were told that brunch would not be happening and they had neglected to inform us about it. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they couldn't accommodate us for the Christmas buffet that day or the next. So we had to go back and see where we could get our Christmas dinner for 8 people. We were very disappointed and upset about this. We wish you had informed us early or found a better solution on site.

My family ordered brunch for Christmas Day. When we arrived, everyone looked at us with gloomy faces and was still waiting at the entrance with their jackets. As a joke I asked if there was nothing here or why is everyone standing here? Unfortunately, the joke turned into a Christmas problem. We (9 people) were probably not listed, despite registering and asking again, and there would be no brunch at all. There would be a buffet but even that would be overbooked with 6 people. Now we were faced with the seemingly insoluble problem of getting somewhere to eat on the holiday. As “compensation” there was a free champagne and an apology. After a few minutes another family came with the same problem. This too was sent away again. Unfortunately very disappointing.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed today. We had already made reservations in August for the Christmas brunch that was supposed to take place here today. 9 people, 1 child. Three weeks ago we asked again personally whether brunch would be okay and we were told yes. Unfortunately, we were there today and were told that there was no brunch at all. We weren't the only ones who made reservations for brunch either. In short, we got no place, no food, just a free drink for everyone as compensation. Never again……..

Ordered places for Christmas dinner and didn't get anything because our reservation was on another list that got lost. Went home hungry. Sorry - doesn't work at all

I was there for 3 days and I am very impressed. The surroundings are super beautiful. The right place to escape the stress of everyday life. The ambience in the hotel is very nice. Food was great and the property is always beautiful, unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour until we got something to drink, even though we were the first in the restaurant and other guests only arrived one by one.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights on business and was completely satisfied. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious and the rooms were spacious and clean. The quiet location was also convincing. I can only recommend this hotel.

Beautiful place and professional service.

Incredibly great for a short break, the rooms are great, you can see that the complex is still young. Fantastic bathroom with rain shower. And the most important thing: staying with your dog from A to Z is no problem. You really feel comfortable there and the location by the lake is hard to beat 🤩

Very “good at the lake” Very nice and pleasant stay for 2 nights. The accommodation has been very, very beautifully restored with great attention to detail. Rooms are a good size and the bed is comfortable. Only the pillows could be a little bigger/thicker. And for late risers it could quickly become restless, as the rooms facing the parking lot can be a little louder with the windows open due to the lack of air conditioning. But overall it's beautiful and worth a trip at any time. See you soon!

The island of the senses is a true retreat that gave us a wonderful end to everyday life. As soon as we arrived, we felt the calming atmosphere emanating from the idyllic surroundings and the friendly staff. The harmoniously designed rooms and the view of nature allowed us to immediately relax. We were particularly impressed by the spa area, which leaves nothing to be desired. The culinary offerings were exquisite and rounded off our stay perfectly. We will definitely come back to enjoy this oasis of relaxation again! Best regards from Pirna

I didn't have a room, the service and location are very nice and worth seeing.

Never again We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend in the supposedly quiet lakeside estate with friends. A few days before we were informed that the restaurants in the hotel would be closed to hotel guests on Friday due to an event. There was no mention of extreme noise pollution from a disco in the courtyard until after 2:00 a.m. Our room was directly above the party area. A complaint didn't help at all - the manager had no idea - "what should I do now?" In any case, the interests of the booked hotel guests (e.g. at least serving drinks and resting at least after midnight) were completely irrelevant in favor of an external company party.

The ambience makes you feel comfortable and there is delicious food, although there is little choice but great flair. I've learned to love it.

Were there as a family with a 5 and a 12 year old child. Unfortunately, dinner in the restaurant was not suitable for the children. The dishes were available as children's portions at a reasonable price. But it was too expensive for us and we ended up eating out the rest of the evenings. Swimming wasn't possible because of the weather and the nearest beach was 30 minutes away on foot. The room was very nice and the staff was very friendly. Without children, I would go on vacation again at any time.

From arrival to departure everything was perfectly organized and the atmosphere was simply enchanting. The meeting rooms were not only modernly equipped, but also offered a wonderful view of the picturesque surroundings of the lake, which made the work particularly pleasant. The food was a real culinary delight – fresh, varied and excellently prepared. Particularly noteworthy is the creative and high-quality cuisine, which delighted us with every course. The selection of drinks was extensive and of the best quality, so that every taste was met. The service was impeccable: the staff was extremely attentive, friendly and always there to accommodate our every need. You could literally feel the passion and commitment of the entire team to make our stay unforgettable. We loved it so much that we decided to return as weekend guests to once again enjoy the peace and beauty of this wonderful place. “Gut am See” is definitely worth recommending to anyone who wants to spend a special time in an idyllic and luxurious setting. "Gut am See", a very special refuge! We planned and celebrated our wedding for a whole weekend in this great atmosphere. The house offers endless possibilities in a variety of rooms, including a romantic estate. The bride and groom say many thanks to all the employees. Rooms great, kitchen great, service great! Our expectations were clearly exceeded.

Hotel service is very good, nice staff. Unfortunately the service in the restaurants is not that good. We sometimes waited over an hour for drinks. And we weren't the only ones. There is definitely a lack of staff here. Maybe you should focus on a restaurant here.

The sound makes the music... Yesterday we wanted to eat ice cream in the local restaurant. After we parked and got out, an excited receptionist came rushing out and verbally more or less chased us away, arguing that we were in a hotel parking lot (nowhere signposted) and that one of his guests had to carry their suitcases that far because of us Our conclusion after yesterday's attempt to visit: In the future, we will no longer bother both the catering and hotel industries with visits and recommendations to friends

A short distance from the lake, a beautiful yard, comfortable rooms, mosquito nets in the windows, excellent breakfast. Air conditioning may be missing only in the hot summer.

Hotel is just a few minutes from the lake. Unfortunately there is only a fan in the room, no air conditioning, it is very warm at this time. The staff was friendly. There is no choice at coffee time, no ice cream sundaes, just 2 types of cake.

We are guests here again and can only warmly recommend it. Whether you're staying overnight or just eating, everything is just right here. Above all, the warmth of all the employees and the owners! I would particularly like to point this out in relation to the currently 3 very bad reviews from the 25 person group. We were able to experience this ourselves in the evening... and all I can say is that maybe the next time you visit another restaurant, you should read up on how to behave as a GUEST in a restaurant! I work in the industry myself and I felt more than sorry for the employees' behavior! You are responsible for the way they behaved towards you!

Unfortunately, I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. We had a company party. 25 people, most from Stuttgart. Each of us had three courses. The food was ok. But the waitresses were overwhelmed and unfortunately unfriendly. In the end it was a disaster! To mark our 25th anniversary, management gave us a 25-year-old whiskey as a gift. We wanted to enjoy this together after eating and drinking plenty. Because how often does the entire team get together!? When we asked about empty glasses, we were then asked to pay €40 (!) corkage fee for them. Absolutely incomprehensible because, as I said, we ate and drank plenty. And there were no other guests in the restaurant other than us. Overall the service was poor. Perhaps the team, together with the managing directors, should be a little more informed about when to charge corkage and when not. You should have a bit of sensitivity towards your guests in the catering industry these days. We'll drink the whiskey somewhere else! This restaurant is definitely not recommended for larger groups. A visit that I will certainly not repeat and recommend.

I recently visited the Gut am See Restaurant and was very disappointed with my visit. The service was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. The waitress seemed annoyed by our presence and was neither attentive nor courteous. Our questions were answered curtly and rudely, and we were left feeling unwelcome. Unfortunately, this unfriendly service marred the entire dining experience. I expected much more from this restaurant and will definitely not recommend it.

Our visit to this restaurant for our company party with 25 people was an absolute disappointment. The service was rude, incompetent and aggressive. From the beginning we felt like we were unwanted. The waitress seemed completely overwhelmed by the number of guests and made it clear to us. Orders were repeatedly forgotten or taken incorrectly, and instead of apologizing, the staff reacted in an annoyed and unfriendly manner. What was particularly annoying was the aggressive manner of the service, which made us feel as if we were the problem. Questions or requests were responded to in a snippy and unprofessional manner. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable in the catering industry and gave our celebration an unpleasant aftertaste. Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances. If you value polite and competent service, you should urgently choose another location. Such poor service took away our enjoyment of the event. It's a shame and definitely not recommended!

An old manor shines in new splendor. Staying here is a really great experience. Friendly staff round off a successful short vacation. Görlitz is only a few kilometers away. The Bergwitzer See is a young local recreation area that is not yet overcrowded. An asphalt cycle path leads around the entire lake.

Booked via Booking, then came the message that the room was not available for the entire period, and there was no accommodation whatsoever, such as 1x breakfast for free or a baby cot for free. Very unfriendly and no accomodation if we make our own mistakes, we will never arrive :-)

As always, after coffee - satisfied, we go hiking again. In April 2024 another visit, coffee stop - apple cake + poppy seed cake, 2 cups of coffee = € 15.00 - good quality and the thought - you'll come here again... Keep it up.And then our walk at the moated castle and lake. And there was also space, including for the car. Am I doing something wrong with the rating? It's certainly at the expense of the space available....

I recommend the hotel 100%, a beautifully located large resort. Perfectly renovated. Comfortable bed, practical and clean bathroom. Large parking lot, friendly service. Breakfast was of a good standard, plenty to choose from and tasty. The restaurant has a very atmospheric atmosphere with tasty food. The big minus is the waiter who has no idea how to behave. It's a bit weak for this level of restaurant.

We had a big family celebration there. The buildings are stylish and historic. The studio on 2 floors was stylishly furnished. The inner courtyard invites you to relax and the lake is less than 3 minutes away!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit ruhiger Umgebung und trotzdem bis Görlitz nicht weit. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Leider nur von außen besichtigt. Wunderschöne Parkanlage und liebevolle und detaillierte Restaurierung der Gebäude. Unweit vom See und gleich neben dem Wasserschloß, welches noch auf die Sanierung wartet. Tafeln mit geschichtlichen Hinzergrund sehr informativ.

Wir waren heute am 25.12.2023 zum Weihnachtsbrunch in der Remise. Das letzte Mal waren wir zum Brunch vor vielen Jahren und kamen heute mit großen Erwartungen. Bis jetzt waren wir immer sehr zufrieden aber heute waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Die Speisenauswahl zum Mittag war unserer Meinung nicht gut getroffen. Es gab nur eine Speise mit Fleisch und das war Entenkeule, ansonsten gab es Klöße, Rotkraut, Lachs, Lasagne, Tagliatelle, Ravioli und Erbsensuppe. Dazu kam noch das die meisten Speisen nicht sehr warm waren. Da waren wir von damals ganz anderes zum Brunch gewohnt. Auch die Bruncheröffnung war diesmal nicht durch die Chefin selbst. Alles in allem waren wir heute nicht so zufrieden wie sonst. Sorry, aber so war unser Eindruck heute. Kristin und Steffen Ulrich

Wir haben drei wundervolle Tage in Görlitz verbringen dürfen und haben uns dafür recht kurzfristig im Hotel eingemietet. Der Preis für drei Nächte war absolut okay, das Frühstück mit 14€ pP sensationell. Viele selbst gemachte, leckere Salate, Eier in jeder Form frisch zubereitet, frische Brötchen, Müsli, reichlich Wurst und Käse, wirklich TOP! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht all unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls lecker und ist sehr empfehlenswert. Die Zimmer sind hübsch und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Betten hochwertig aber eher hart. Für meinen Rücken war es nicht ganz das richtige und leider gibt es auch keine große Matratze, so dass die Betten beim ankuscheln immer auseinander rutschen. Wir haben uns einfach im Baumarkt ein paar Kabelbinder besorgt, damit war dann alles Toppi. ☺️ Die Außenanlage des Hotels ist, wie das Hotel selbst ganz zauberhaft und wunderschön. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und vergeben von Herzen ganz wundervolle 5 Sterne. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Einfach schön.... Von Anreise bis Abreise ein Erlebnis

Wir hatten leider Pech mit dem Personal, es kann sein das sie ein schlechten tag hatte. Essen war ganz gut, Frühstück war echt super. Zimmer war super schön, aber es ist blöd wenn man 2 eizelbet als Doppelbett bekommt. Erst recht wenn es nachts dann auseinander rutscht. Standort Ambiente ist mega. Kleiner Tipp, essen drüben in Pizzeria, frühstücken im Hotel und Kabelbinder mitnehmen fürs Bett. Preis Leistung top

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Anwesen...super gelegen , am See , wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende mit einer Radtour um den See und Übernachtung , sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer....leckeres Essen...freundliches Personal...natürlich dementsprechend gehobene Preisklasse...waren sehr zufrieden , kommen gern wieder.

Vor Ort sind 2 Restaurants. Am ersten Abend waren wir im rechten Flügel des Hotels italienischen Essen. Sensationelle Pizza etc.und obwohl die Bedienung alleine 8 Tische versorgen musste, immer nett und sehr aufmerksam. Es gab einheimischen Bier von Landskron 👍 Dieser Teil der Gastronomie bekommt von uns 4-5 Sterne. Im anderen Restaurant mit dem Gewölbe wurden wir leider etwas enttäuscht. Wir hatten unseren 2 Jahre alten Enkel dabei und haben über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Die Kartoffelsuppe war lauwarm und der Boden der Schüssel gerade mal bedeckt. Für das Geld nicht akzeptabel gemessen am Preis und Wareneinsatz. Die Begründung war es wäre eine Kinderportion. Kartoffelsuppe !!! Obwohl 2 Bedienungen vor Ort waren die auch 8 besetzte Tische bedienten, hatte man das Gefühl, dass der Service mit der Küche nicht rund lief. Unsere blonde Kellnerin war aber bemüht und nett. Unsere Hauptspeise war gut, aber auch nicht ausreichend warm serviert. Portion auch da eher übersichtlich. Wir fanden es auch Schade, dass man Bitburger Bier in diesen Teil der Gastronomie ausschänkt, obwohl man in der Region ein Spitzenbrauerei vor Ort hat. Das Landskron wird noch nach alten Brauereitradition gebraut und ist kein Industriebier. Es steht einem Investor besser zu Gesicht, wenn einheimisches Bier auszuschänkt wird. Dadurch unterstützt man zusätzlich die Region wo man sein Geld verdient ! Wäre eine Runde Sache. Ansonsten Alles sehr schön saniert und gepflegt. Top. Zimmer können wir nicht bewerten, da wir mit dem WoMo unterwegs waren. Weiterhin viel Erfolg ...

Wir haben im Innenhof gesessen und es war einfach toll.

Sehr angenehmer, schattiger Garten. Das Angebot ist vielfältig und ansprechend. Auffallend freundlicher Service bestimmt das Geschehen. Das gesamte Umfeld lädt zum Verweilen ein. Immer wieder sehr zum Wohlfühlen.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön an einem See in der Natur eingebettet. Ideal um allen Alltags Stress loswerden zu können.

Nun endlich WILL ich meine 1. Bewertung bei Google diesem außergewöhnlichen Hotel widmen. Es tut mir leid, dies nicht ehern geschafft zu haben. Das "Gut am See" ist das BESTE Hotel welches wir je hatten. Da lohnt sich das Rausfahren aus Görlitz, um in dieser Oase zu nächtigen und zu speisen. Das Gebäude und die gesamte Parkanlage sind in einem sehr gepflegten und sauberen Zustand. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, fleißig und flink. Wir (meine Tochter, 10 Jahre und meine Mutter) waren insgesamt für 4 Nächte im April 2022 im "Gut am See". Die Zimmer waren sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet und alles war auf dem neuesten Stand. Wir hatten den Blick in den Innenhof, welcher zu jeder Tageszeit einfach unbeschreiblich schön war. Das Frühstück und Abendessen im Restaurant "Gewölbe" waren abwechslungsreich und sehr gut. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten auch Spaziergänge am nahegelegen Berzdorfer See genießen. Wir waren über Ostern dort und wenn ich nicht 700 km entfernt wohnen würde, würde ich jede Feier hier ausrichten. Wir möchten uns an der Stelle noch einmal herzlich bei Hr. Marth und seinem gesamten Team für die unvergesslichen Tage bedanken. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Tolle Lage und eine Ausstattung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ich war geschäftlich für eine Woche in diesem hotel und grundsätzlich völlig zufrieden. Einzig die ziemlich aufgeheizten Zimmer ( draußen 31 Grad) ohne Klimaanlage und die doch sehr lauten abendlichen/ nächtlichen Veranstaltungen auf dem Gut haben mich gestört. Da ansonsten alles perfekt war, gebe ich trotzdem gern 5 🌟

Das Ambiente und die Location sind toll. Der Service ist völlig indiskutabel. Ich habe auf ein Wasser 45 Minuten gewartet, 30 zum bestellen, 15 dann bis es kam. Die zwei Damen waren von mehreren großem Gruppen völlig überfordert. Da wird am Personal zu Lasten aller gespart. Die Pizza war ok,, preislich auch angemessen

Wir waren zu einem Geburtstag eingeladen. Der Kreuzgewölberaum, die Atmosphäre eines alten sanierten Gutes, großer Innenpark, Spaziergang in wenigen Minuten am Berzdorfer See. Hervorragendes, warmes Buffet.
