Die Betten stehen weit auseinander, die Matratzen sind hart, die Bettdecken klein. Ansonsten ist es super. Das Frühstück ist köstlich, und die Auswahl beim Abendessen ist zwar klein, aber fein. Das Personal ist hervorragend, 5 Sterne. Parken, Internet und die Lage sind ausgezeichnet. Hunde sind gegen eine Gebühr erlaubt, was toll ist.

Super schönes Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, vor allem beim Frühstücks Buffet! Die Mädels machen einen super Job👍 Waren sehr zufrieden!

Sehr erholsame Hotel Anlage mit Nähe zum See und man kann sich gut entspannen und die Örtlichkeit genießen… Freundliches Personal und wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben…!!!

Ein Kleinod für Menschen, die Ruhe suchen und sich über eine Infrastruktur wie 2 Restaurants, Badesee, Joggingstrecke und charmantes Ambiente freuen. Alles Klasse in Schuss und wir haben es sehr genossen. Sogar der spontane Geburtstagsblumenstrauß konnte noch organisiert werden. Lieben Dank und sicherlich auf ein nächstes Mal.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage, das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett, die Ausstattung hochwertig und Zimmer und öffentliche Räume sind sauber.

Wir waren das zweite Mal hier im Urlaub und es war auch dieses mal wieder sehr schön. Das gesamte Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und ausreichend. Auch das Essen in den beiden Restaurants war ansprechend serviert und geschmacklich auch sehr gut. Preis Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall. Das einzige was mir gefehlt bzw. nicht so gefallen hat, war die geringe Auswahl an alkoholfreien Getränken wie z.B.Cocktails. Gerade wenn man keinen Alkohol trinken will/kann/darf aber man gerne so tun will als ob, ist die Auswahl doch sehr begrenzt. Ebenfalls schade ist, daß es keinen Kühlschrank gibt, gerade bei solchen warmen Tagen. Vielleicht wäre ein Gemeinschaftskühlschrank im Foyer oder an einem anderen Ort der für die Gäste erreichbar ist, eine Möglichkeit. Die Zimmer an sich, waren schön eingerichtet, nur was die Sauberkeit angeht, könnte noch etwas besser sein. So waren einige Spinnenweben im Zimmer vorhanden. Trotzdem würden wir immer wieder gerne kommen. Denn auch die Lage ist schön ruhig, abgelegen und man kann hier richtig gut entspannen.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Nur leider war Küche bis 21 Uhr angeschlagen und 20 Uhr gab es nur noch Salate oder Vorspeisen. Aber diese waren lecker.

Alles ist einfach erstklassig. Ich habe hier eine Hochzeit begleitet und von allem gesehen und gekostet. In jeder Hinsicht empfehlenswert.

Sehr schöne Lokation direkt am See. Schön ist, dass dieses wunderbare Gut von den jetzigen Besitzern praktisch "gerettet" wurde. Hat einfach mega Flair. Auch die Küche war fantastisch. Frisch und sehr bekömmlich. Tolles Frühstück. Insgesamt wirklich ein schöner Aufenthalt mit ein paar Mängeln. 1. Fliegen am Frühstücksbuffet sollten wenn möglich dezimiert werden. Das war manchmal nicht sehr appetitlich 2. Der Reinigungsservice geht GAR NICHT !! Beim Einzug lange blonde Haare auf dem Boden und weiße Spuren auf der Tagesdecke undefinierbarer Art ( igitt). Auf Nachfragen wurde noch einmal nachgeputzt aber auch die tägliche Reinigung ( wir waren längere Zeit) hat einfach nicht immer stattgefunden und wenn dann sehr spartanisch. Diesen Reinigungsdienst hat dieses schöne Hotel einfach nicht verdient. Bitte unbedingt ändern. Sonst aber ein traumhaftes Hotel.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Gut am See. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die außerordentliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Teams an der Rezeption. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Die ruhige Lage am See und die schöne Umgebung tragen ebenfalls zu einer erholsamen Atmosphäre bei. Als kleine Anregung für die Zukunft wäre ein direkter Badesteg zum See oder eine bessere Ausschilderung der vorhandenen Zugänge wünschenswert. Das würde den Aufenthalt für Badegäste noch komfortabler machen. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Traumhafte Location mit Luft nach oben bei Gastronomie ​Wir haben zwei Nächte im Gut am See verbracht. Insgesamt ein solider Aufenthalt für einen Kurztrip, der vor allem von der Lage lebt, aber beim Gesamtanspruch eines solchen Hauses noch Potenzial ungenutzt lässt. Die Zimmer: Die Ausstattung ist optisch sehr hochwertig und modern. Besonders die Lichtinstallation sorgt für eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Badezimmer punktet mit einer tollen Dusche (Regen- und Handbrause per Knopfdruck, auch gleichzeitig nutzbar). Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Betten bestanden aus zusammengeschobenen Einzelbetten, die nachts leider auseinandergedriftet sind – bei der ansonsten hohen Qualität der Möbel etwas schade. Frühstück & Gastronomie: Hier ist das Bild leider durchwachsen. Das Frühstücksbuffet wirkt bodenständig, ist aber für den Anspruch des Hotels nicht besonders herausragend. Auf Nachfrage wurden individuell vegane Optionen ermöglicht. Eine Auswahl an Convenience-Aufschnitt; positiv hervorzuheben sind jedoch die scheinbar selbstgemachten Aufstriche. Ein großes Manko ist die fehlende Deklaration: Weder Allergene noch die Kennzeichnung „vegan/vegetarisch“ waren am Buffet ersichtlich. Das ist heutzutage eigentlich Standard. ​Abends haben wir in der „Remise“ (Italiener) gegessen. Das Essen war solide, aber keine „Geschmacksoffenbarung“ und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz überzeugend. Auch hier fehlen rein vegane Gerichte auf der Karte – man muss auf Pizza oder Pasta ohne Käse ausweichen (Improvisation). Service & Ambiente: Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich, sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Die Ruhe auf dem Gut ist fantastisch und die Location an sich (gerade für Hochzeiten oder Tagungen) absolut unglaublich. Dass es keinen Wellnessbereich gibt, war uns vorher klar – eine kleine Fasssauna würde das ländliche Idyll allerdings perfekt abrunden. Fazit: Für zwei Nächte in Görlitz völlig in Ordnung, für einen längeren Urlaub würde uns jedoch die kulinarische Raffinesse und die Detailverliebtheit beim Komfort fehlen.

Waren zum Brunch, Speisen waren gut, preislich aber nicht überzeugend. Waren vor 2 Jahren dort, da gab es auf den Toiletten noch Deo, TaTücher und einiges mehr, jetzt nicht mehr, die Toiletten passen nicht zum sonstigen Niveau. Service empfanden wir als recht langsam und unaufmerksam, schade. Lage finden wir sehr schön, großer gepflegter Parkplatz

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Etwas abseits gelegen, dafür aber in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Berzdorfer See und in der wunderschönen Oberlausitz, die viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge bietet. Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal , egal ob Rezeption oder Frühstückscrew. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr ansprechend und reichhaltig und ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Gerade war ich mit Begleitung im Hotel Gut am See,nur um mich mal zu erkundigen um bei einem nochmalige Besuch vom Görlitz und Umgebung eine Unterkunft zu buchen. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und sehr ansprechend. Leider wurde ich an der Rezeption nicht war genommen und als dann mal jemand kam, nach meiner Bemerkung das wohl noch Weihnachtsdekoration von der Decke hängt,einfach stehen gelassen und so konnte ich mich leider nicht nicht informieren. Also ich fand das mehr als unangenehm und ich werde mich natürlich nach einer anderen Unterkunft umsehen. Also so eine Rezeption ist der erste Ansprechpartner und das Aushängeschild eines jeden Hauses und vor Allem entscheidet der Gast da nach wenigen Sekunden ob Gut oder ebebd nicht. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Hotel Gut am See. Es ist einfach traumhaft am Berzdorfer See gelegen...einfach idyllisch und zum Runterkommen genau das Richtige.Wir waren mit Freunden übers Wochenende da zur 20 er Jahre Party.Location zur Party in der Pizzeria einfach mega toll.Deko und Flair wie in den goldenen Zwanzigern.Tolle Band...Wir können auch nur das Personal loben...alle sehr lieb und haben immer ein offenes Ohr. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder diese Ruhe und das wunderschöne Hotel muss man immer wieder besuchen.

Traumhafter Ort mit wunderschöner Aussicht

Die Silvesterparty war einfach super. Wir kommen wieder. Das Essen und die Getränke waren ganz unser Geschmack. Der DJ hatte auch für jeden etwas auf Lager. Getanzt werden konnte bis zwei Uhr morgens!

Sauber, nettes Personal, alles bestens.

Wirklich eine hervorragende Erfahrung. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, kompetente Beratung und eine spürbar hohe fachliche Qualität. Man nimmt sich Zeit, erklärt alles verständlich und geht individuell auf Fragen und Bedürfnisse ein – das fühlt man sofort. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Görlitz und die Anfahrt dadurch ein wenig länger. Für die Qualität und den Service nimmt man das aber gerne in Kauf. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel 🤩 verbindet Geschichte mit Gegenwart – wenn Sie Ruhe, Luxus, die Sprache alter Steine ​​und Stille erleben möchten, sind Sie hier genau richtig.

Außergewöhnliches Hotel! Es wurden alte Stallgebäude umgebaut und Altes und Neues harmonieren perfekt. Tolle Zimmer, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, aber Bonuspunkte gibt es für die Lage am See und die traumhafte Ruhe. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Das Hotel ist etwas ab vom Schuss, dafür aber sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet. Das einzige was mir gefehlt hat, war ein großer Spiegel und im Bad könnte etwas mehr bzw helleres Licht sein. Das Restaurant war vom Ambiente her sehr schön, aber Preis - Leistungsverhältnis nicht u bedingt gut. Der Service hätte auch etwas besser sein können. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut. Insgesamt war es ein schöner, ruhiger Aufenthalt mit Empfehlung für einen Besuch.

We had dinner there. It was an impressive, large room with mighty pillars. The food was okay, but for the price range, there's still room for improvement in our opinion. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Incredibly great for a short break, the room is fantastic, you can see that the complex is still new. The bathroom with a rain shower is fantastic. And most importantly: staying with a dog is no problem from start to finish. You really feel at home there, and the location by the lake is hard to beat 🤩 One year later: Even after my second visit, I can only give it 5 stars! Dogs are still very welcome, there's nothing missing, and I think the breakfast has even gotten better!

Service was unfortunately subterranean, otherwise a very picturesque place

All the good things have already been mentioned, and they're 100% accurate. In brief, just two minor things that could be improved: no refrigerators in the rooms, dogs are welcome, but where do we put our "pee bags"?

This year we visited Görlitz for the fifth time, and we spent two weekends at Gut am See. Great location, beautiful rooms, and excellent cuisine. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the dinner was excellent. We'll be back next week.

A quiet place, superbly situated near an artificial lake. Good food and excellent Polish service. Prices are reasonable for Germany. The restaurant kitchen is open from 5 p.m.

Bertsdorf Lake and the Gut am See estate are always worth a visit. The excellent service makes you feel at home.

The sound makes the music... Yesterday we wanted to eat ice cream in the local restaurant. After we parked and got out, an excited receptionist came rushing out and verbally more or less chased us away, arguing that we were in a hotel parking lot (nowhere signposted) and that one of his guests had to carry their suitcases that far because of us Our conclusion after yesterday's attempt to visit: In the future, we will no longer bother both the catering and hotel industries with visits and recommendations to friends

Great hotel on Lake Bertzdorf, wonderful garden, everything very well-kept and landscaped. Very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are very nice and quiet. A small refrigerator would have been great. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired - fantastic! The lake is just a few minutes away. You can rent bikes. Parking is right next door. We'll definitely be back.

A very nice place to stay. The breakfast was good and well-presented. The rooms were well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately, it's difficult to cuddle up to your partner at night because the beds slide apart. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Visually, it's quite impressive from the outside. It looks very well-maintained, and the staff seems very friendly (from what I noticed while driving past). I can't comment on what it's like inside, as we're staying at a guesthouse in town.

Beautifully situated on the lake (as the name suggests). Very good service at the hotel; any criticism was addressed promptly. I liked the room and especially the bathroom. Parking is good, especially for motorcyclists. The restaurant serves good, high-quality food. The service in the restaurant is always attentive, but not overly friendly, unlike the service at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it's very tasty, with a good selection.

I can definitely recommend the hotel. Great location and a beautiful ambiance. We felt very comfortable. The room deducted a small point due to the lack of air conditioning. Otherwise, it was excellent.

Unfortunately, after three weeks, two major misrepresentations on the website have not been corrected. This prompts me to write this review. First, the suggestion that you can sail on Lake Berzdorf. This is only possible if you bring your own boat (great). Second, the published restaurant opening hours are incorrect. It only opens at 5 p.m., meaning there's no opportunity to enjoy a snack, cold drinks, or coffee and cake during the day. The hotel bar is not open. Since there is no other lobby or common area, the evenings at the hotel are quite quiet. The breakfast buffet and the extremely friendly and attentive service were outstanding.

We stayed at this hotel with our 13-month-old and were absolutely delighted. Our room was large enough to easily accommodate a bike trailer and still had enough space for the little one to play. The two hotel restaurants offer delicious food, and the central park offers the opportunity to let the children romp around in a relaxed atmosphere. The location is ideal. The harbor and various swimming options are nearby. The sandy beach is about a 20-minute walk away. Hagenwerder train station is also a 20-minute walk away for a trip to Görlitz. The only thing missing in the park is a small playground, as there were many parents with small children present. I don't see this as a negative, but rather as an opportunity for improvement.

There are two restaurants on site. On the first evening we had Italian food in the right wing of the hotel. Sensational pizza, etc., and even though the waitress had to look after eight tables on her own, she was always friendly and very attentive. There was local beer from Landskron 👍 We give this part of the restaurant 4-5 stars. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed in the other restaurant with the vaulted ceiling. We had our two-year-old grandson with us and waited over an hour for the food. The potato soup was lukewarm and the bottom of the bowl was barely covered. Not acceptable for the money, considering the price and the quality of the food. The justification was that it was a child's portion. Potato soup!!! Even though there were two waitresses on site, who also served eight occupied tables, you got the feeling that the service in the kitchen was not running smoothly. Our blonde waitress was helpful and friendly, though. Our main course was good, but not served warm enough. The portion was rather small there too. We also thought it was a shame that Bitburger beer was served in this part of the restaurant, even though the region has a top-notch brewery. Landskron is still brewed according to old brewing traditions and isn't an industrial beer. It suits an investor better if local beer is served. This also supports the region where they earn their money! It would be a great idea. Otherwise, everything has been beautifully renovated and maintained. Top-notch. We can't rate the rooms because we were traveling in a motorhome. We wish you continued success...

We celebrated our wedding here. It was a wonderful day. Thank you so much to the team. You did a fantastic job. The guests who used the rooms were very satisfied. You have truly created a dreamlike place here.

The location is very convenient for bike rides, and the lake is just a few minutes' walk away. Beautiful property, spacious and beautifully landscaped park. We had a quiet room with very minor flaws – a tile in the shower was broken, and the skirting board was loose and sticking out. We missed a minibar, or at least a mini-fridge, in the suite. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and fresh, the waitresses were very dedicated and always replenishing supplies. Even special requests for lactose-free milk were fulfilled, thanks again. Our first dinner at the restaurant next door, outside, was not as organized. Unfortunately, there were very long waits, and by the end, we were out of dessert. There was also no table assignment or division between the two waiters; we were served alternately by both of them. They were jumping around in circles, and we almost felt a bit sorry for them. Nevertheless, it was nice for a quiet weekend of relaxation and can be recommended.

Excellent hotel on Lake Berzdorf. We slept very well. Pleasantly large rooms with plenty of storage space and a bathroom with a rain shower are just a few things we liked. The breakfast served leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel is ideally located for activities on the lake, cycling, or exploring Görlitz. The restaurant in the cross-vaulted ceiling is also highly recommended.

Great absolutely quiet location everything new and well maintained, next to the castle

We visited the restaurant on recommendation. The hotel/restaurant is beautifully designed, and the ambiance in the restaurant was promising. Unfortunately, I have to say that it was the worst kitchen performance I've ever experienced, and I was in the German Armed Forces for eight years. The food was cold, and I don't mean lukewarm, I mean cold!!! The asparagus wasn't even remotely cooked and had a bite of raw kohlrabi. The hollandaise sauce was unfortunately just melted butter, even though we specifically requested hollandaise sauce. My son ordered pasta with tomato sauce and got an indefinable mass of overcooked pasta with a tasteless orange sauce. What can I say other than that I strongly advise everyone not to eat at the Gut am See restaurant. 👎👎👎

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary with family and friends at this beautiful hotel and were very pleased with the rooms and the ambiance. Super friendly staff, excellent cuisine, and delicious cakes—our guests echoed this sentiment. Thank you for the wonderful time at the hotel.

We visited the Remise restaurant and were surprised by an incredibly delicious pizza. This alone makes it definitely worth a visit on your next visit to the area.

Highly recommended, nice quiet rooms and great breakfast

A very nice, quiet hotel complex with very friendly staff, a sufficient breakfast buffet, and very attractive rooms. The food in the restaurant was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back. We highly recommend the hotel. .

Three of us were guests today, staying overnight with breakfast, May 13th/14th, 2025, at Gut am See. The ambiance and decor, the rooms and style were all fantastic, of course. At the bar, however, there was a young girl who was perhaps a bit out of place, as she couldn't answer any questions about cocktails, didn't know which bottle looked like which, and otherwise had zero communication skills. Unfortunately, she left without saying hello (it's just the way it is, even if she couldn't care less). It's not really her fault that she was ordered to the bar at her young age. The prices still have to be paid, and at the bar, a certain amount of entertaining, celebratory value is demanded. The older Polish employee was much more confident, but also very distant. This is, of course, decadent "criticism" and perhaps even exaggerated; it merely reflects my own insignificant opinion. A bit more relaxed verbal ping-pong with guests would be welcome. Otherwise: top hotel!

We were here for a short vacation and a long weekend. We chose this property because the breakfast was conspicuously praised online. The rooms: It was fine in itself, but had minor repair defects. The handle to the bathroom came towards you and when you turned on the heater in the bathroom, a small panel at the bottom fell off. But otherwise great. Unfortunately we forgot to report these defects. If it hasn't been fixed yet: Room 205. ;) The bathroom was otherwise actually quite stylishly furnished. Unfortunately, the mattresses always pushed apart when you wanted to find each other. That was also a small minus point. Hence the 4/5 stars. The service: The staff was completely amazing! Multilingualism available, everyone was friendly, you could also have a nice chat. A smooth 5/5. The location: Very beautiful scenery! The property is an eye-catcher! Very nicely renovated. It radiates a good mood! It is also located directly on Lake Berzdorf. Also a 5/5! The restaurant: Unfortunately I have to note a lack of vegetarian dishes. That ensured that we didn't go any further. I had a salad the first night. It was tasty! But hardly any vegetarian food in 2025? .... 3/5 The breakfast: The breakfast is very well stocked and tasty. Here too, the service really scores. However, it's not as great as the internet thinks. For example, there was a lack of milk alternatives. All in all, still very good! Big plus point: We can enjoy our latte macchiato in the courtyard or in the room. The additional charge for breakfast was reasonable. 4/5. I think you can easily recommend the hotel and have a nice and quiet time. But be careful! The party room faces the courtyard! If you want to enjoy a quiet stay, you should ask when booking whether the ambience was booked for an event (wedding, etc.). Otherwise it can become rather stressful. :D We would come again.

Nice hotel with pleasant training rooms. Nice staff, clean rooms. Beds take a bit of getting used to, but OK outdoor area and location on the lake highly recommended.

Staff is friendly, rooms are nice, upscale facilities. The location is very nice right on the lake, but unfortunately not easily accessible without a car. It is very quiet and has a beautiful courtyard.

I was only there for one night on a business trip but was super satisfied. From the first phone call to check out. The rooms are spacious, clean and, above all, quiet. Night's sleep is guaranteed!!

Great ambience, great cuisine, great staff, everything is just perfect. A property like this renovated so perfectly is fantastic. We were thrilled.

The Gutshof am Berzdorfer See is a very nice hotel complex in the countryside, with plenty of parking space 2 restaurants with seating in the garden. It is about 300m to the lake. So very suitable for swimming and relaxing. The rooms are in a quiet location, very well equipped, spacious and clean. We had a very nice New Year's Eve celebration with good music and a tasty buffet in the restaurant. What could be improved is that when you visit the restaurant without being a hotel guest, you are often turned away even though there are still enough seats available. Finally, there are 2 restaurants available, which is perfectly laid out. Best regards R. Heise

We were here for 4÷1 day over New Year's Eve. It was a nice and pleasant party with good food, good music (the dance floor was rarely empty) and a small but nice fireworks display. The staff - from the operators present to the DJ and other service assistants - was also great!!

A hotel where you can actually hear the mice coughing. We haven't experienced such a quiet hotel in a long time.

We had already booked in August for the Christmas brunch on December 25th. reserved. When we showed up yesterday we were told that brunch would not be happening and they had neglected to inform us about it. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they couldn't accommodate us for the Christmas buffet that day or the next. So we had to go back and see where we could get our Christmas dinner for 8 people. We were very disappointed and upset about this. We wish you had informed us early or found a better solution on site.

Ordered places for Christmas dinner and didn't get anything because our reservation was on another list that got lost. Went home hungry. Sorry - doesn't work at all

Unfortunately we were very disappointed today. We had already made reservations in August for the Christmas brunch that was supposed to take place here today. 9 people, 1 child. Three weeks ago we asked again personally whether brunch would be okay and we were told yes. Unfortunately, we were there today and were told that there was no brunch at all. We weren't the only ones who made reservations for brunch either. In short, we got no place, no food, just a free drink for everyone as compensation. Never again……..

My family ordered brunch for Christmas Day. When we arrived, everyone looked at us with gloomy faces and was still waiting at the entrance with their jackets. As a joke I asked if there was nothing here or why is everyone standing here? Unfortunately, the joke turned into a Christmas problem. We (9 people) were probably not listed, despite registering and asking again, and there would be no brunch at all. There would be a buffet but even that would be overbooked with 6 people. Now we were faced with the seemingly insoluble problem of getting somewhere to eat on the holiday. As “compensation” there was a free champagne and an apology. After a few minutes another family came with the same problem. This too was sent away again. Unfortunately very disappointing.

I was there for 3 days and I am very impressed. The surroundings are super beautiful. The right place to escape the stress of everyday life. The ambience in the hotel is very nice. The friendliness of the employees as well as the service is great. We felt completely comfortable. We will definitely go there again in the spring. LG S.M.
