Sushi Yama -Japanisches Restaurant in Görlitz

Very tasty food, friendly service, and a convenient location on the edge of the old town with easy parking. We've been there twice, for lunch. I recommend making a table reservation for dinner.

Friendly service, delicious sushi, and the wasabi is decent. The food is beautifully presented. 4 stars because the ramen lacked flavor and the price was inappropriate for the amount of ingredients in the soup itself. The friendly chef advised me, in a manly way, which beer was best, and he was absolutely right. The homemade sauce was also, unfortunately, weak :( Besides that, I recommend it; everything was delicious 😉. The drinks were tasty and the sushi was nice, and the price was reasonable for the quality.

Today we went to Sushi Yama, and it was incredibly delicious. We had a wonderful evening on my girlfriend's birthday. The food was very good, and we can't complain. Thank you so much, and we look forward to our next visit.

Very tasty sushi, freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive, although they didn't ask for drinks, which is a shame. Overall, though, a great restaurant that I'd happily recommend!

Came to have lunch with friends, very nice atmosphere, there is a small terrace, very nice service, the waiters also speak Polish. They said sushi for four people was prepared very quickly. The food was tasty, nothing extraordinary.

I think we hit a bad day. The rolls were not neatly made, very thinly sliced, Tempura soaked in oil (it smelled bad). Tom Yum soup - Garnelen Suppen practically no Shrimp, the pieces of shrimp were literally minimalist. Prices are rising and quality is falling.

You won't find better sushi than here. Simply.

Great Japanese restaurant in the heart of Görlitz. The staff was super friendly and gave us excellent advice on our sushi roll selection. We opted for the tempura mix and three sushi rolls. It was more than enough, even for two people. Delicious dips were served with it. The prices were more than reasonable. We definitely recommend Sushi Yama 👌

Service was an absolute disaster, we had ordered a table for 5 people. One person didn't get anything to eat that evening. Even after asking three times, there was only a shrug. The waitress then stopped showing up at the table. Wine was warm, other drinks were also forgotten and mixed up. There wasn't much going on that evening, so it was absolutely incomprehensible. In the end there was only a “sry”. Absolutely underground. Never again. Then go to the much better competition.

Food good. Service bad. Win guest didn't get anything to eat, not even after asking twice. That was the end of the evening. Also warm white wine.

I ordered RAMEN first, I got a bowl of beef broth with literally three pieces of hard meat, two pieces of mushroom and half an egg with no taste. Something that was supposed to be ramen didn't even become ramen. The man behind the bar informed me that they specialize in sushi. My question is, why is there something on the menu that is not sold? We paid for this pseudo ramen and left. In one word, a drama.

I like to eat sushi and know quite a few places, unfortunately I wasn't that happy here, the soup (Tom Ka Gung) was hardly seasoned, there were almost no shrimps in it (one, three times cut) and then I paid almost 6 euros, rather usury. I felt the same way with the sushi, a lot of rice and hardly any fish. The atmosphere is cold and uncomfortable. The service was very nice and attentive, but unfortunately that's not enough.

There is a beautiful artificial sakura tree in the hall. The food is very tasty, like sushi, like soups and everything else. Many different types of sushi. The waiters are very friendly and nice to the guests, some can speak both Polish and German. The order is delivered relatively quickly. You can eat in the establishment, or you can take it with you.

The staff is very friendly, the selection of sushi is very good. The sushi tasted very good and was freshly prepared, as it should be. Unfortunately there was no non-alcoholic draft beer as offered on the menu, you got a 0.5l bottle and glass. The dessert (mochi) was also disappointing for the price in terms of portion and taste. The restaurant is clean, the dishes (slate plates) are nice, but the music didn't really fit a sushi restaurant. Overall, we can recommend Sushi Yama.

Today, we didn't understand that, it was a catastrophe for us. Two small plates were served and no explanation. The Polish service person was very unfriendly, couldn't give any information, would come back in 2 minutes. She didn't come back. The order for 2 people was not brought. The Sushi Yama in Görlitz presents itself with typically Japanese restraint. The passion for Japanese cuisine including sushi can be tasted in all dishes. I have never tasted such good miso soup. The price-performance ratio is absolutely good. The quality of the food is excellent. We will be back definitely.

A nice Sushi restaurant in town! Miso soup was a really big portion and tasty. The sushi platter is a must try, just order it and you will not regret. And the sauces they bring for the sushi is great, a new taste to the sushi!

Solid sushi restaurant. Of course, as a layperson you will be overwhelmed by the huge menu, but if you wish, mixed platters of different types of sushi are prepared, for which you only have to specify a few basic conditions. To call it the undisputed best sushi restaurant in Görlitz wouldn't be fair. I think it's about on the same level as the Sushi House at Klosterplatz.

Auch ein Sushi-Kochkurs kann gebucht werden! Unbedingt mal ausprobieren! Man wird gut angeleitet, das Sushi schmeckt hervorragend und am Ende ist jeder pappsatt (für einen angemessenen Preis).

Wir waren für ein paar Tage in Görlitz zum Weihnachtsmarkt, hatten einen Tisch bestellt ,weil wir in der vergangenen Zeit schon einmal dort waren. Das Essen war sehr gut, aaaaber...... Wir waren mit 2 Pärchen unterwegs, eine Person isst kein Sushi und wollte ein anderes Gericht bestellen. Es stand in der Speisekarte auch gebratenes Hühnchen, aber leider nur mit Reis ( den diese Person auch nicht isst) nun wollte der Gast Nudeln dazu haben, es führte absolut kein Weg dorthin, nein dieses Gericht gibt es nur mit Reis, das ist leider gar kein Service. Was dan auch dazu führte, das unser Bekannter das Lokal verlassen hat und sich auf dem Weg zum Hotel eine Pizza gekauft hat. Ich glaube einen erneuten Besuch im Sushi Yama wird es von uns nicht mehr geben.

Es ist immer wieder ein Genuss und eine Freude hier Gast zu sein. Wir haben seit der Eröffnung hier schon einige Male gegessen und sind immer wieder begeistert. Auf Wünsche und Fragen geht das Personal gerne ein und steht jederzeit beratend zur Seite. Für mich persönlich ist das „gebackene“ Sushi das absolute Highlight, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. In jedem Fall lohnt es sich einen Tisch zu bestellen und sich einfach mal Zeit zu nehmen mit Freunden oder der Familie und ein wirklich tolles Essen zu genießen. Klare Empfehlung!

Przepyszne sushi i najlepszy tatar z łososia w okolicy 😍. Wszystko jest zawsze świeże i pyszne. Obsługa przemiła, pomocna i zawsze uśmiechnięta! Bardzo polecam zamówić mrożoną zieloną herbatę, świetnie komponuje się z całą resztą 😊

Ich überarbeite meine Rezension: Vor 4 Jahren war ich bereits einmal hier. Damals war der Service noch nicht ganz so gut. Z.B. wurde das nachbestellte Bier komplett vergessen. Heute passte alles. Das Essen war wieder sehr lecker. Wir wurden beim Bestellen gut beraten und die Getränke wurden auch schnell nachgebracht. .... ein rundum 5 Sterne Service. Gern kommen wir wieder.

Po deszczowym zwiedzaniu zoo udaliśmy się w kierunku tego miejsca. Miłym zaskoczeniem była obsługa złożona z Polaków. Sam Ramen - niby dobry, jednak ugotowane jajko a nie marynowane widziałem po raz pierwszy w ramenie. Sama wołowina mogła być również bardziej dogotowana - nie rozpływała się w ustach lecz była taka "do żucia". Obsługa bardzo miła, pomocna, mimo braku menu w języku polskim tak czy siak by pomogła w tłumaczeniu co czym jest.
