Pizzeria Carlo in Görlitz

A few months ago, it was my favorite pizza... Today I can say that we ordered it for the last time. Apparently, they now serve cake batter and less topping... it doesn't taste good at all. An absolute disaster!!

Very friendly and new owners. The pizza tastes great thanks to the new recipe, and the prices are fair. I'll definitely be back.

The new team that took over Carlo Pizza about two weeks ago is fantastic. I haven't had such a delicious pizza in Görlitz for a long time, as it was difficult to find a really good pizzeria. I'd rather pay the €1-3 than at a kebab shop, where I pay a bit less but get frozen pizzas. This pizzeria pays attention to the quality of its pizzas, as the dough also tastes great and everything is freshly prepared. The staff is friendly, and the price for a pizza is completely fair.

In my opinion, Pizzeria Carlo is the best in Görlitz. The pizza is always fresh, topped with great toppings, and tastes simply fantastic! The service is friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back!

First, the positive: the pizza tastes okay, even if it's absolutely nothing special anymore, especially if you remember the pizza from the old Carlo. That's why I'd like to observe a moment of silence for my former favorite pizzeria... Now, the negative aspect: that moment when you're excited about a typical Carlo pizza and then get a pizza where you have to pick the toppings: a very small slice of salami per slice, and the crumbs of feta cheese you could count on one hand. It was the same with the other pizza: a bit of onion and a bit of sausage, distributed so roughly that you could at least guess what kind of pizza it was. Unfortunately, that was the last time I ordered from there. Pizzaria Carlo rip💔

I've been here for 15 years and it's my personal favorite pizzeria. Unfortunately, everything is no longer as loving as Carlo used to be. It still tastes good, but the vegetarian pizzas in particular now taste boring and are poorly topped with vegetables. Also something to think about: pizzas are brought to people all over the city for free and delivered to their doorstep. This requires personnel and a vehicle and therefore causes high costs. If someone from Rauschwalde, for example, picks up the pizza themselves then you should be grateful. In the past there would have been a drink or something similar as there would otherwise be no advantage at all if you picked it up yourself. We wanted to have some pepperoni on one of our vegetarian pizzas, but that would have cost €2 extra. So we took the pizza without for €10 instead of €12 and then picked up our two pizzas for €21. By the way, it took 1 hour for pizza to be picked up. So it's no longer the case that you can spontaneously order pizza and pick it up, but you have to plan it in advance. Card payment on site is not possible. I didn't receive an invoice when I paid in cash.

I don't usually give reviews, but in this case, I actually feel obligated to make an exception. After entering Pizzeria Carlo and immediately attempting to place my order, I was met with a remarkably unfriendly response: "They're out of pizza today." Everything was "sold out"; "They're not baking any more pizzas here today," and that, mind you, on a Saturday, two hours before the shop's official closing time. In such a beautiful city as Görlitz, which is visited by countless tourists every year, this lasting negative impression was a real disappointment and simply unworthy of the enchanting city. Unfortunately, I can't rate the pizza itself, as I wasn't fortunate enough to even try it. Fortunately, there are recommendable alternatives in the immediate vicinity if you're craving pizza.

Unfriendly and insulting service. Doesn't know his own map. 2 hours before closing you are told that there is practically nothing. Zero hospitality...sad...a shame for Görlitz.

Ordered here a few times over a long period of time. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The food is always delicious, fresh and, above all, still really hot. So I haven't been disappointed yet. Every now and then it takes a while, you can plan on an hour, but I think it's okay now and it's definitely worth the wait. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely fine. All in all, I can absolutely recommend this pizzeria.

It's a complete disaster when you arrive on the weekend and immediately notice that the employee is completely unhappy because he had to stop smoking, and he clearly communicates this with the words, "I'm not doing that today, so get something else." That was definitely our last visit.

I ordered for the first time today. A salami pizza and Rigatoni al Forno. We love cheese, and it had it on it. I didn't find it too salty, as many have complained. However, it wasn't a proper minced meat sauce like I'm used to with Rigatoni al Forno; it was more of a tomato sauce, but everything tasted great. Delivery was within the stated time.

Doesn't take a card, should be changed here. So I can't say anything about the quality of the food. But of course not so good if you don't take a card in 2023.

Haben heut eine Pizza und ein Nudelgericht gekauft. Die Pizza war ok, aber die Nudeln waren einfach nur schlecht. Die ersten drei Gabeln schmeckten irgendwie muffig, auf meine Bestellung „Nr. 61 mit Schinken bitte“ kam erstmal die Frage was das wäre, danach die Bemerkung, dass kein Schinken dabei wäre (lesen kann ich schon ;) ) die Motivation lies zu wünschen übrig. Zwei Kellen Tomatensoße weniger wäre klasse gewesen. Gewürzt war es scheinbar nur mit Pfeffer oder Chili, ich konnte es nicht rausschmecken, da es mir den Mund weggefeuert hat (was nicht ausgeschrieben war, dass scharf wäre). Zu meinem Entsetzen wurde dieses Nudelgericht ohne Käse verkauft (war mein Fehler, dass ich es nicht gelesen habe, dass kein Käse dabei ist). Alles in Allem, einmal und nie wieder!

Viel zu salzig und richtig gummi artig, einmal und nie wieder. Zu Empfehlen ist die nicht, aber die Ränder schmecken Gut.

Nur für extreme Käsefreunde geeignet, denn ich hatte noch nie so viel Käse auf einer Pizza. Der war aber kein Mozzarella sondern undefinierbar und in der Menge dann ziemlich gummiartig in der Konsestenz. Die Zutaten auf der Pizza (zumindest Pilze und Paprika) waren aus dem Glas, nicht frisch. Es war das erste und letzte Mal, dass ich dort etwas zu essen geholt habe.

Bitte bis zum Schluss lesen! Es ist wieder sehr viel besser geworden! Top! Kann ich gern weiterempfehlen. Ich bin seit vielen Jahren Kunde. Bisher gab es nie etwas zu beanstanden. Es war immer sehr lecker und ich habe die Pizzeria stets weiterempfohlen. Leider hat sich das geändert. Die Nummer 3 jetzt schon zum 2. mal versalzen. Die Peperoni ist lasch und nicht im geringsten scharf, eher leicht sauer. Beim Salat war das Hähnchen trocken. Schade! Ich wünsche mir, dass ihr zu der bisherigen Qualität zurückfindet. Das wäre schön. Ich werde es ab und an mal wieder versuchen. Ich werde auch hier an dieser Stelle berichten, wenn es wieder schmeckt. Versprochen ! Über die anderen Produkte sagt meine Bewertung nichts aus! Was mir gefällt ist eure Freundlichkeit und der zuverlässige Lieferservice. Ich habe zwischenzeitlich immer mal wieder bei euch Essen geholt. Es hat sich glücklicherweise wieder stark verbessert . Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis 👍

Na pierwszy rzut oka wydaje się niewielki wybór ale po spróbowaniu kilku smaków kazda (powt.KAŻDA PIZZA ) jest inna.Ciasto zdecydowanie różni się od typowego.Jest Ciebie do opisania ale jeśli ciasto od pizzy może zaskoczyć to zaskoczyło.. pozytywnie.Polecam z czystym sumieniem! CENY przystępne.Tworca pizzy ja robi na oczach zamawiającego...czysto schludnie...OK 🍕👌

Früher als Carlo dort noch Chef war haben wir uns gern mal eine Pizza geholt! Aber jetzt mit den neuen Betreiber haben wir etwas schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht und deswegen meiden wir diese Pizzeria! Wobei es sich nur um das Personal handelte nicht um die Pizzen!

Erstmal zum positiven: Der Service war gut und freundlich und die Lieferung pünktlich. Jetzt zur Pizza: Anscheinend war der Käse gerade im Sonderangebot oder die Zutaten sind so billig, dass man sie gut verstecken muss. Wir hatten vier unterschiedliche Pizzen bestellt. Geschmeckt haben sie alle fast gleich, nämlich nur noch nach dem halben cm Käse oben drauf. Entsprechend war die Pizza auch so unglaublich fettig, dass man nach einer halben Pizza zwar noch nicht satt ist, aber sich gut überlegt, ob man das davon wirklich werden will. Da die Preisgestaltung ähnlich wie bei der Konkurrenz ist und man anderswo Steinofenpizza mit seh- und schmeckbaren Zutaten bekommt, ist "you get what you pay" auch kein Argument. Nächstes mal wieder Capri!

Als die Pizza Carlo noch in guten Händen war, klappte alles hervorragend, seid dem Betreiberwechsel sind nur noch lange Wartezeiten, man muss mehrmals Anrufen bis jemand dran geht und die Pizzen waren früher heißer. Na mal sehen wie es weiter geht

Einmal, zweimal, nach dem dritten Mal - Kein mal ! Ich wunderte mich warum meine Calzone so trocken ist - die Tomatensauce fehlte komplett. Auch hatten wir eine Margherita, mit 2 selbst gewählten Zutaten, lächerlich was drauf war für so einen Preis!

Hole mir hier sehr oft die Pizzabrötchen. Schmeckt absolut fantastisch. Empfehle es jedem.

Wie immer eine gute Wahl. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für mich stimmig. Ich kann diese Pizzeria, in meiner Position als langjähriger Kunde, jedem empfehlen, der Lust auf eine reichhaltig belegte Pizza hat.

Erste Klasse. Bin vor der Lieferung eingeschlafen der Fahrer war dreimal bei mir und die Pizza war immer noch heiß. WOW! Was besseres gibt es gar nicht.
