Viele uns unbekannte Gerichte aus der vielfältigen Küche Äthiopiens. Das äthiopische Bier wird in einer Nussschale serviert und schmeckt sehr fruchtig. Die Linsensuppe war ziemlich scharf, die frittierte Teigtaschen etwas zu scharf frittiert. . Der gemischte vegetarische Teller war wirklich lecker - er ist sogar vegan. Achtung - man isst es ohne Besteck! Das dazu gereichte äthiopische Brot ist total lecker: säuerlich und würzig, saugt ideal alle Soßen auf. Zum Schluss hatten wir noch einen äthiopischen Kaffee - für uns etwas ungewohnt. Vielen Dank an die Bedienung, die uns gut beraten hat.

Go here for some good Quality ethnic Ethiopian delicacies.We ordered the Ethiopian teller which is a mixture of all their dishes.The taste was out of the world.Injera the bread was really tasty.All those food reminded me of Indian food which is similar in texture and taste.The service and atmosphere were really good.Highly recommended.

Despite being on the main street, the restaurant is actually quite quiet in the Rohrbach district of Heidelberg. We had reserved and could choose, inside or outside. The inside area was far too dark for us, so we got a table outside in front of the restaurant. The service was really very nice and answered all of our questions about the food in detail and very patiently (African cuisine was new territory for me). The sambusas for the starter were extremely tasty, we had the version with minced meat filling and I was also thrilled with the flatbread injera for the main course. All dishes including dips and sauces had a pleasant spiciness. For me the highlight of this evening: the traditionally served coffee with incense! The price-performance ratio is good, with a small drawback: payment is only possible in cash.

We had a really great evening, the food was outstanding, the service was really friendly and all in all it was just right. I will definitely come back and can recommend the restaurant without reservation!

Bejte is our first address when we want to eat Ethiopian food in Berlin. It is very cozy and warm and also child-friendly. There is really delicious and diverse food, even for vegetarians. Tej and Buna (honey wine + coffee) are also highly recommended. We can highly recommend it.

Food was OK but not particularly, we expected more, the service was good, it just took a bit of time, the furnishings were very simple or even non-existent

We ordered via Lieferando. Of the 3 mixing plates, 1 was forgotten. Upon telephone request, a subsequent delivery was assured. After more than an hour the call was made again, but unfortunately no one answered the phone. My food never arrived, so I can't judge the taste.
