Staff is super friendly and incredibly accommodating. The restaurant offers a warm, cozy ambience. And the food is absolutely delicious. My friend and I had a lovely evening dining there and we'll definitely be coming back 😊🫶🏾

We ordered two appetizer platters, lamb and fufu with spinach, and it was absolutely delicious! The appetizer platters allowed us all to try a lot. The highlight was the Ethiopian coffee at the end! 10/10

That was a wonderful dinner. I had the Sebeta menu. The flavors were so varied, and the dessert, yogurt with dates and honey, was also incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant. The people who work there were also very friendly and attentive. I would happily go back.

We were thrilled with the service. Very attentive, friendly, and ready with good recommendations. The outdoor dining area is beautifully decorated, and the interior is equally attractive. There are several African drinks to choose from. The food was excellent, with a selection that caters to a wide range of tastes. All in all, we would gladly return!

A very pleasant outdoor atmosphere, with authentic Ethiopian food (in my opinion). Add to that the friendly and personable service, and you feel completely at home.

We enjoyed the food. The service was very attentive. We highly recommend Restaurant Sebets. The prices were reasonable. It's a shame we're not from here.

We've been waiting for 10 minutes, but we're still 20! We'll be there in 30 minutes before our bus! The restaurant was completely full, but we had a professional service and were very friendly! We're still waiting for Essen! The waiter would have to wait a few hours, but Essen would have to be friendly, but we wouldn't be happy :) We're still waiting for our stay in Frankfurt with this restaurant! Goodbye! If I could give 10 stars I would give 20! We only had 30 minutes before the bus! The restaurant was completely full, but we were served incredibly professionally and quickly! The food is incredibly delicious! The waiter himself offered us to take the food with us, but it was not necessary:) Next time our visit to Frankfurt will start with this restaurant! Delicious food, good (large) portions. The service was super friendly. We were there with two young children (2 and 4), who were incredibly enthusiastic and enjoyed their meals. They even made some small adjustments for the kids. Absolutely fantastic!

Everything is delicious with interesting spices! Tip: On Thursdays, there's a dinner buffet with about 12 dishes, including four meat options, plus soup and dessert. Drinks are quite inexpensive (for Frankfurt).

If you preferred to eat Teff Injera, they charge you 4.5 euro as an extra. In addition to the actual price you ordered. For me it looks over exaggerated 🤣

I have been there many times. I particularly like the Sebeta menu because it contains so many different Ethiopian dishes. But the other dishes are also very tasty. The Ethiopian coffee is excellent. The service is very friendly and competent. I can only recommend this restaurant.

I happened to walk past the restaurant and used my hunger as an opportunity to try some African food. The decoration is simple and appropriate and the ambience is pleasant. The service was very nice and couldn't have recommended anything better. A mixed platter for one person. You again I was very full and was able to try different flavors and intensities. Just right for me. The price was also reasonable. I'm sure I'll come back and take someone else with me. 😊

Authentic Ethiopian Restaurant!

We are absolutely thrilled! Everything tasted incredibly delicious. We had the mixed platter, which we always order in African restaurants because we like to have all the highlights on the plate at the same time. The young man who managed the restaurant alone that evening was understandably a bit overwhelmed, but in an incredibly friendly and charming way. He was very friendly and accommodating, which made the whole evening even better. We also really liked the ambience. The atmosphere was relaxed, all the guests were in a good mood, people smiled at them and immediately felt welcome. We definitely want to try to come back at least once a month. A real heartfelt restaurant.

Wow! Simply delicious!!! We had the vegan platter with teff injeras (as they are gluten free). It tasted absolutely excellent. Every single dish on the platter was incredibly good. We became aware of Sebeta through the Schlemmerblock and can only warmly recommend a visit. The service was very accommodating, the food was really tasty. We'd love to come back when we're in Frankfurt again!

Price-performance is great. Service is sometimes a bit confusing (depends on who is there). Attention: not suitable for business meals, the team can cook, but no receipt for entertainment.

First time trying african/Ethiopian cuisine and it was amazing. Super nice staff and the food was full of flavor.

We had a mixed plate (very tasty!) and a chicken dish (unfortunately it wasn't to my taste, some of the spices didn't suit me) but would still come back and just eat something different. Really nice atmosphere and the waitresses were really nice, pure African feeling. The African beer was also an experience.

Go here for some good Quality ethnic Ethiopian delicacies.We ordered the Ethiopian teller which is a mixture of all their dishes.The taste was out of the world.Injera the bread was really tasty.All those food reminded me of Indian food which is similar in texture and taste.The service and atmosphere were really good.Highly recommended.

There were four of us eating and we had reserved a table. The restaurant wasn't at full capacity that day. The air in there had been very stuffy and we had to wait easily 20 minutes before we could place the order, but good. Unfortunately it took at least 30 minutes for the drinks, but we waited about 1.5 hours for the food after ordering. The food was very manageable and there was very little on it. We found it a bit bland and needed more seasoning. Unfortunately, it wasn't as spicy or spicy as we had imagined. Unfortunately we were very disappointed.

Very good, varied, unknown to the palate but definitely homemade food with a totally friendly service. If you need to slow down and feel full at the same time, this is the right place for you!

The restaurant is located in a walking distance form the main train station. It has a chill and welcoming atmosphere and most importantly the food is delicious and full of flavors. I recommend their lunch buffet.

The two of us ate there and had the dish with many different varieties. It was very tasty and the portions were also sufficient. The service is very nice. Small flaw that the service only speaks English. But that shouldn't be a reason not to eat there. This was the third African restaurant I have visited and the best so far.

Nice personel. However, the food wasn't really to our liking. Unfortunately the location was a bit too dark, but still comfortably furnished.

I have seen many Ethiopian restaurants in Europe. For example, I have eaten at Ethiopian restaurants in Stockholm, Sweden, Paris, France, London, England, Rome and Milan, Italy, Copenhagen, Denmark, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Oslo, Norway. But I have never come across a restaurant as cool as Frankfurt's Sabetta restaurant. I enjoyed the beauty of the house, the hospitality, the location and most of all the food. If you come to Frankfurt, you won't regret it. By the way, I didn't ask about their nationality, religion or political affiliation. Because I don't need it. It is nice to see an Ethiopian restaurant that works according to European standards.

Very nice restaurant with very hospitable staff where you immediately feel welcome. We had reserved a table but wanted to sit outside, since the tables outside were all occupied, the restaurant got a table for us. The food was very good, so we will definitely eat there again. All in all a small restaurant that we can only recommend.
