I try to evaluate it objectively. After all, the standards and prices in the restaurant are significantly higher than in the pub next door. The first thing we noticed was the strong smell of cooking and fish in the restaurant. That wasn't pleasant. I also find it difficult to rate the service. I'll put it this way: the young man was a bit overwhelmed in his technical aspects, but at the same time very nice. The young woman was obviously a very well-trained service worker, but unfortunately she seemed too arrogant at the beginning. This wasn't just unpleasant for us. In hindsight, that turned out to be the case and everything was fine. A tip for the young lady at the counter. The (beer) glasses should be brought to the table on a tray.😉 To eat. We really enjoyed it. When it comes to tuna, more care should be taken to ensure that no hard/tough fibers are processed. Something else about the ambience. The toilets are in the basement and as a guest you ask for a coin or pay an extra euro. This is extremely uncomfortable!

We fulfilled my wife's big wish to eat at Tim Raue Restaurant's 2 star restaurant here! ❤️ As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly and in a very friendly manner and escorted to our table. We had already discussed for a long time whether we would both decide on the same menu or not. The right choice was for everyone to order their own desired menu: I had the “Kolibri X Berlin” and my wife had the “KOI” menu. Both menus were sensationally delicious! 😋😍👍 The service was incredibly attentive and very, very friendly. It was an incredible and very beautiful and very, very tasty evening! A very big thank you to Tim Raue and his team! 🫶

As a guest of the Rutz restaurant in Berlin, I can confidently say that my visit there was unforgettable. From the moment you enter the elegantly decorated interior to the highest level of service - everything here makes you feel special. The menu is a composition of masterful dishes, prepared with the utmost care and attention to the smallest details. The dishes are not only beautifully presented, but also incredibly tasty, bringing your taste buds to true ecstasy. The service is perfect - every waiter is professional, polite and knows everything about wines and dishes. The wine list is impressive, offering a wide selection of excellent bottles that pair perfectly with the dishes. The atmosphere at Rutz is elegant, but at the same time pleasant and casual, which makes the time spent here pass very quickly. This is a perfect place for a romantic dinner, a business meeting or a special occasion. A visit to the Rutz restaurant is not just a meal, it is a real culinary experience that stays in your memory for a long time and leaves an indelible impression. It is worth visiting this place and enjoying the unique taste and atmosphere.

Unfortunately, Balthazar 2 no longer exists as we knew it. The owner has changed. There is now only Asian cuisine and you have to like that. The ambience is visually no longer what it used to be. Everything dark green and gloomy. It's a shame that one of our favorite restaurants has been lost again.

We visited the restaurant expecting a special culinary experience - unfortunately these expectations were only partially fulfilled. Access to the restaurant was already a challenge. For guests without local knowledge, it is difficult to find the entrance because there is no signage or information. This deficiency is unnecessary and creates a confusing first impression. The food was generally good, but not to the standard we were hoping for. A highlight should be the “crispy octopus”, but unfortunately potential was wasted here. Instead of a creative preparation, the octopus was simply breaded like a schnitzel, which seems unimaginative and not very refined, even clumsy. What was particularly disappointing was that the octopus itself was severely overcooked - a faux pas that shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this caliber. Unfortunately, the service was not at the level that you would expect for a restaurant of this standard. Overall, the service staff didn't seem attentive and didn't seem particularly trained. So we waited a whopping 30 minutes for the main course without anyone apologizing for the delay or asking if we needed anything else. What was even more noticeable was that the staff never noticed when glasses were empty - we always had to actively ask. A real annoyance was the reaction to the request for a dessert menu: the waitress answered us with her mouth full and an unpolite "yes", which unfortunately reinforced the impression of unprofessional and unhospitable service. The atmosphere in the guest room was attractive and modern, although simply and functionally furnished. A big negative point, however, is the acoustics. With the noise level and the echoing background noise, we felt more like we were in a train station than a restaurant. The seating concept didn't convince us either. The tables of six, which bring guests from different groups together, may seem sociable, but they are less suitable for a relaxed, intimate evening. The desire for some privacy is made much more difficult by the table arrangement. Overall, we're left with a mixed impression: Solid cuisine, but with room for improvement - especially in terms of service, which doesn't do justice to the ambience and prices of the restaurant. More sophistication would also be desirable in the preparation and concept of the dishes. The ambience could improve significantly through improved acoustics and more individual seating design.

Die kleinen Häppchen waren bei jedem Gang ein neues Erlebnis. Angerichtet wurde jeder Gang auf sehr kreative und liebevolle Art, optisch wunderschöne. Dabei war jede Speise durch die Kombination von Elementen, Geschmacksrichtungen und Texturen ausgezeichnet. Zusätzlich zu der von uns bestellten Gangfolge gab es vorab zwei ganz wunderbare Grüße aus der Küche, und sogar noch nach dem Dessert ein weiterer süßer Gang mit diversen Kunstwerken. Alles war sehr schmackhaft, einige Stücke stachen besonders positiv hervor. Wir haben nicht die Weinfolge gewählt, sondern Aperitif und Wein von der Karte bestellt. Der Service bei uns am Tisch wurde durch mehrere versierte Kräfte gestellt. Alle waren sehr freundlich und vorbildlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Abend genossen. Ein großer Dank an das gesamte Team.

The vegan menu was a complete disappointment. It failed to bring out the flavor and texture of all the ingredients. Especially the beetroot dish was canned texture and full of sauce. I'm angry that I spent four full hours trying to eat this food. The service and taste of Alleno Paris, which I went to in July last year, was great, and it was painful to sit here today. The service of the staff was distracting and far from friendly.

Sounds promising, but it doesn't hold up. The oysters and mussels were wonderful, but the rest was unfortunately disappointing. The ceviche was boring. Very small plates, but high prices. It seems uninspired and random, with no real common thread. The service was too arrogant for me. There was no recommendation or advice about the wine and the plates were carelessly placed in a very strange sequence. If the tipping expectations are not met, you as a guest will be treated condescendingly. That hasn't happened to me in a long time. I expected a lot and unfortunately I'm not sad that I can't do it again here.

We were looking for breakfast options and couldn't really find anything, so as non-hotel guests the Strandhotel Fischland was very accommodating and we were able to enjoy a very good breakfast there. Friendly service. Recommended 👍👍😃

The food as an imaginative, creative invitation to the palate - which could still rave about what it tasted the next day. Kudos to the chef and his team! The mix of different consistencies and taste explosions - in skilful proportions. I can't say anything about the wine journey, as I prefer to take a water journey while eating. The service was attentive, friendly and accompanied the meal without distracting from it. I was missing a small spoon to be able to fully enjoy some of the tiny things. I would also have liked a small menu card to take away with all the dishes. In order to be able to remember them better - to be able to order them again in the future if necessary / to be able to wish for them - because there are many courses - I would be more than happy to be able to enjoy them again. Thank you to everyone who created such a magical moment with their skills and work - which will remain in my memory for a long time! See you soon!

A very nice evening, great and surprising dishes with unusual combinations! Very good and attentive wine accompaniment by the nice sommelier! The only criticism: the meat course (crispy suckling pig) lacked an "opposite" to the sauerkraut to create some tension... and the dessert had more chocolate crumbs, otherwise the taste of the pickled radishes predominates... but these are just small things do not detract from the overall impression! The card was still very new at the time...
