Well, the restaurant will be closing soon. The two of us wanted to get another impression and have a nice evening. A terrible atmosphere for a 1 star restaurant. Wooden chairs without upholstery or padded bench simple. Wooden table varnished so that it looks relaxed and at the same time saves 1500 euros in white laundry per month. Guest room noisy and too cold in winter, heating on level 5 lukewarm. The person sitting next to you at the table should wear simple, thick sweaters and not designer clothes, which are not shown here. A blouse or something similar is not possible as it would cost too much due to the temperatures. A record player plays black vinyl with very special music, often so loud that you can't hear the person sitting next to you at the table. If the music is turned down, it is quickly turned up again... The service sometimes seems thrown together or provided by temporary employment agencies. Preferably in English and poor German. All in all, you celebrate yourself in the special way of the boss in the house until the bitter end of the establishment. In terms of food, there are only 8 course menus yes or no. Optional corresponding wines. The wines were more of a mediocre accompaniment, but matched the courses. In principle, the kitchen can do more than the restaurant offers in its own way. When it ends in mid-December, the operator will rethink its concept. Too casual and “special” for a star, too expensive for anything less. Just an attempt to make fine dining trendy in Kreuzberg. Unfortunately, the spirit of the times is changing more and more quickly. Result of the evening 500 euros for two, in a special atmosphere with very competent cuisine. Others can do that better in Berlin...we felt entertained, but unfortunately not picked up.

It had just rained more heavily than ever before, and even our umbrella was soaked. We asked nicely if we could wait at the entrance for 5 minutes until the heavy rain was over. This was denied to us and we were inhumanely allowed to wait outside by the small roof. Which was very inconvenient with the strong wind and rain. After standing in front of the glass door for 5 minutes, we were allowed in, but only on the carpet. For such a nice restaurant, the friendliness and humanity are unfortunately missing.

We were able to enjoy the Spring Awakening 5-course menu and found the menu to be wonderfully coordinated. A real experience and highly recommended. We had hoped for a little more in terms of ambience for the price range. All in all, a very nice evening!

Very cozy, almost family atmosphere. As always, very good food. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Always my pleasure.

On an evening in May, which already brought with it the premonition of a sunny spring, we went on a culinary journey of discovery in the Marburg dining room. And experienced excellent dishes with balanced flavors and surprising nuances, which were excellently prepared and tasted just as well. This culinary delight was accompanied by very attentive service. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Beautiful restaurant in the middle of the Kreuviertel in Münster, which has retained its “restaurant around the corner” flair and doesn't seem aloof. On the contrary, what is sold and offered here is service at the highest level with a friendly calm. Each course is personally explained and served by the team and the respective chef. The boss also comes to see us and asks if everything is OK. The service on our day last late summer was truly as good as I have rarely experienced in my life. Attentive, helpful, personable and not the kind of person who tends to be a little tense or aloof in fine dining. Oh yes, we ate too. The pictures certainly speak for themselves. What I would like to emphasize is that the menu was perfectly tailored to summer (light cuisine) and the entire menu impressed with the quality of the products and the high level of craftsmanship of those involved. I would love to come back and look forward to my next visit to the BOK.

Everything was fabulous! A culinary delight! We were in the restaurant for the first time today and were positively surprised from start to finish. In terms of taste, the 5-course menu was very tasty and everything was perfectly coordinated. The warm and very attentive nature of the hosts is very commendable. It's a shame that we, as natives of Remscheid, only became aware of this restaurant so late. Definitely recommended. Thanks for the great birthday meal!

2 Sterne und "alles anders". Traumhafte Location, phantastische und einzigartige Speisekreationen, exzellenter Service. Und das alles sehr ruhig und unaufgeregt, obwohl es genügend Grund zum "trommeln" gäbe. HIMMLISCH

My wife and I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant! The service was simply great – the staff was attentive and friendly. We were thrilled by the food, every course was a delight for the palate. The atmosphere was also very inviting. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Very pleasant, great service, great ambience and exceptional food.

It may be that the opening times are listed online, but at the establishment they are written very small and barely legible on a piece of paper. But then you have to climb the steep path all the way up after a hike with a growling stomach and heavy feet to discover that there is only a menu for 165 euros and that the opening times are completely unusual. A small notice at the entrance would have been very helpful and would have avoided frustration and a negative review. But as it was, we had a quick snack at the snack bar across the street. In my opinion the external ambience doesn't do the price justice, but they'd rather have 150 stickers on their front door saying how highly they've been rated. The Bockwurst at the snack bar wins.

A really successful evening. We enjoyed a 5-course menu with non-alcoholic and normal wine accompaniment and were very satisfied. The compositions were very interesting and sometimes surprising. I wouldn't have thought of lobster with asparagus, but it was a dream 🤩 the pasture ox was simply world class. Nice wine selection, very nice service. Think we'll come back 👍

The restaurant, the service, and especially the delicately presented courses are sensational. The only downside is the surcharge for bottled wine.
