The decor is very tasteful. The food is incredibly good. Unfortunately, the service doesn't quite live up to the same standard.

I was absolutely delighted. I had the Hummingbird menu, including the Königsberger Klopse (which were absolutely fantastic) and wine pairing. The service was professional and friendly. My personal highlight was the dessert. Thank you to Mr. Raue and his team for this unforgettable evening.

Hit up Tim Raue — really enjoyed the Asian vibe. Tried the wasabi tempura prawn and the Ikarimi Salmon — the salmon was insanely smooth and full of flavor, easily the highlight. Cool atmosphere, quick service. Solid spot.

I was really anticipating having a wonderful experience. The food that was served was wonderful, but the service stinked. We only made it through the first five courses due to the poor service. We waited over an hour to be served the fifth course while all the other tables were being served three to five courses during that time. Disgusted with the lack of acknowledging our situation I requested to settle our bill so we could leave. Without apologizing, the manager asked us if we wanted to finish the meal. I had lost my appetite and was very disappointed and so we settled our bill and left. For a restaurant that prides itself on its service the way we were treated was unconscionable.

We booked an evening at Tim Raue's restaurant with high expectations for the food and the ambiance. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment overall. There was also no wine recommendation. The final straw for me, however, was the complete lack of a non-alcoholic aperitif—nothing, none at all. Unbelievable, in my opinion. I had to make do with apple spritzer. We couldn't order a set menu on-site, only online. We both ordered schnitzel, and it was incredibly greasy, with side dishes that weren't very tasty and weren't attractively presented. There was no alternative to salad. The tableware was truly awful, in my opinion. At the end, when it came to the tip, I was given the choice between 10, 15, and 20 percent... I would actually prefer to choose how much to tip myself. Here, I was practically forced to give at least 10 percent. I didn't want to do that at all; 5 percent would have been perfectly sufficient, considering what we were served. A real shame for such a disappointing evening. The food was very poor, yet very expensive. Conclusion: We won't be back.

I am very disappointed with my experience at the restaurant. We traveled all the way from Switzerland and reserved a table with our friends from Berlin. And to be perfectly honest, I don't understand it. I work in a kitchen myself, mostly in the pastry section, of course never in such a high-end setting, in a nursing home for people with disabilities. And I must say, I usually accommodate every request when something is unbearable (and there are many), but in your restaurant, that wasn't possible. My friend was vomiting all night, and my husband wasn't feeling well either. When we asked to substitute some of the dishes, we were given a firm "no." Because they are so exclusive and have such a good reputation, we all thought we'd try anyway. Overall, the service was just impersonal, which I found very disappointing and hadn't expected. It's not about a €10 currywurst, but about a special experience and a pleasant evening. ... Dear Mr. Raue, you are a fantastic chef, "outstanding" indeed! I have heard so many good things about you from colleagues and bosses, but please, if you no longer have an overview of all your restaurants, it would be a shame if your name stood for something that cannot make guests happy.

The food was excellent, the service superb, and everything was top-notch – no question. You can tell they work with a lot of skill. Nevertheless, I felt something was missing. I've eaten at several other Michelin-starred restaurants, some in smaller establishments, where the dishes simply resonated with me more. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, but not something I would necessarily recommend.

We visited this restaurant recently and, unfortunately, had a very similar experience to another review we read online. The food was far too salty, and the only things we truly enjoyed were the dessert and the bottle of wine we were recommended. Perhaps we chose the wrong menu, but most of the dishes were extremely acidic — lots of pickled ingredients and mustard seeds — which really dominated the flavors. I personally don’t enjoy pickled or mustard-based food, so this style didn’t suit me at all. We also had three different servers during the evening. The two male waiters spoke very quietly and mumbled while presenting the dishes, making it hard to understand what was being said. We had to ask several times for them to repeat themselves, and at some point we simply gave up and read the menu instead. The female waiter, however, was great — clear, professional, and attentive. Overall, we left quite disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Dear Sir or Madam, Unfortunately, the food there is only average. There were seven courses… a reduction wasn't possible… nor was it possible to swap one dish for another. The couple at the next table, however, could only order three courses out of seven. It was questionable why that was possible for them but not for us. The food looked good for four courses, but only the fish and the dessert tasted really good. The remaining courses all tasted of lemongrass and ginger. We even left one course because it was inedible due to the overpowering lemongrass. I spoke with a woman in the restroom. She confirmed this, and her husband said the same thing. After we told the server how bad the food was after the fourth course, neither the service nor the food improved. The reaction… nothing happened, just… they said they would pass it on to the kitchen. You can eat better at the Japanese restaurant around the corner for less money. Only the sommelier was good. He should really find a new restaurant. It seems the celebrity factor is what matters, not the quality. A real shame. The 600 euros for two people without drinks was a complete waste of money.

Since the fall of the Wall, Berlin has ceased to be Berlin. What was once a sooty bastion of defiance—a breeding ground for artists, deserters, thinkers, and the notoriously nonconformist—is now a kind of theme park of eccentricity. The city wears its "creativity" like an oversized accessory: impossible to miss, yet somehow empty. In the seventies and eighties, Berlin thrived on chance and failure. The buildings crumbled, ideas flourished. It was a time when people in Kreuzberg still believed the world revolution would begin right behind Görlitzer Bahnhof—and if not, then at least a halfway decent punk band would. Today, the new Berliners stroll through those same streets: digitized, networked, self-optimized. The old bohemians have become a coworking community that drinks lattes where red wine once flowed from the bottle. And amidst startup pitches and "socially relevant art projects," one searches in vain for that blend of melancholy and defiance that once made this city so irresistible. As someone with a similar upbringing and, above all, a comparable love of Asian cuisine to Tim Raue, one can't help but squeeze in a restaurant visit during one of those occasional, reluctant trips to Berlin. And lo and behold: the KOI menu—an uppercut to the taste buds, an overwhelming knockout. Michelin-starred street food. You leave the restaurant dazed, almost ashamed that Berlin is still capable of such a thing. Conclusion: I hate Berlin—and I love Tim Raue's cooking.

An experience, not a restaurant visit! My brother and I visited Tim Raue for the first time – and it wasn't just my first visit there, but also my very first Michelin-starred restaurant. After just a few minutes, it was clear: This wasn't just "good food for a lot of money," but an experience. A 4.5-hour mini-vacation for all the senses. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was warm, professional, yet pleasantly relaxed. The entire team was attentive, friendly, and authentic. You were never condescending – on the contrary: there was laughter, jokes, and you felt completely welcome. Every single course was a small work of art: perfectly matched flavors, bold combinations, and a magnificent balance. The wine pairing was also superb – perfectly matched to each dish and presented with great dedication. The explanations of origin, character, and interplay were exciting, understandable, and made every sip a part of the overall experience. Shortly after we started, we each received our own menus, tailored precisely to our individual combinations. This meant we could always read what to expect – even though every single server explained exactly what was on the plate and how to enjoy it. When a course consisted of multiple components, there were even charming "eating instructions" indicating the best order for experiencing the flavors. My brother's allergies and special requests were accommodated naturally and perfectly – without it ever feeling like a compromise. The service was outstanding overall – professional, well-coordinated, and warm. Maja and Oliwer, in particular, made the evening unforgettable with their attentiveness, humor, and a very special gesture. You could tell that the people here work with real passion – both in the service and in the kitchen. We took breaks, enjoyed the evening in peace, and the team completely accommodated us. No pressure, no rush – just pure hospitality and enjoyment at the highest level. I went home with a big smile and the feeling of having experienced something truly special. Thanks to the entire team for an evening that was more than just a dinner—it was an experience that will last forever. And one thing is for sure: This was definitely not our last visit!

My wife and I were in Berlin for a weekend get away. This was our first 2 star Michelin Restaurant. We had high hopes only to be sorely disappointed. Food: Others said it best, the dishes lack any semblance of balance and flavors. Its either lacking any distinct flavors or is so unbalanced it is difficult to eat. They had a dish that had liquid nitrogen just for show, not sure what it added to the dish. The palate cleanser was a wonderful refreshing dish, light, sweet and refreshing, it was perfect, until you got to the bottom, there was an overpowering jalapeno, spicey flavor. We both couldn't finish our veal cheek and wagyu beef dishes, the concentrated flavor tasted burnt and salty. Take a look at the pictures, they are both small dishes, that's how disappointing it was. Service: Started out so good, she was wonderful and did her best to be welcoming. Then it went down hill, we had a conveyor belt of staff coming through with dishes, water and wine. It was just transactional and most of the staff seemed sad and tired. Decor: This is the first time I went into a high end restaurant to see a wall painting of a Berlin street with black garbage bags. Not sure who thought this would be a good idea. But I am not particularly fond of looking at garbage bags for 4 hrs. Summary: So many better places to spend your money and time as a added bonus, dinner for two was $1,000 with wine and upcharges. No idea what Michelin is thinking, 2 STARS.

Unfortunately, we only had a mediocre evening. The service generally seemed very superficial and impersonal. What was particularly unpleasant was that the juice spritzer I ordered (in a bottle) had already expired, and when I pointed this out to the waitress, I received a horrified "Oh," but otherwise no response or apology. The drink was ultimately not charged without a word—but given the price and the standards of a two-star restaurant, that's not enough. Apart from that, the food itself was great, although at times the saltiness was a bit too much. // Update: After we contacted us again via email, the restaurant manager called us, inquired in detail, listened, and apologized personally and sincerely. Very professional and fair. This is the way mistakes are handled, as I wanted and hoped for. I have therefore adjusted the rating upwards.

Excellent meal and service. My waiter Oliver made particular effort to make me feel welcome and chatted as a solo diner. Food excellent, you definitely want to substitute a dish for the langoustine - my favourite course. Apparently it used to be punchier, which I would have liked. Running the marathon tomorrow so opted for the non-alcoholic pairing, which was excellent, probably the best AF pairing I've had. Would never choose an AF wine, especially a red, but the chilled pinot noir was great! As it was busy I was sat downstairs, which was fine but lacked a bit of atmosphere or being able to see the kitchen. They did pre-warn me to be fair to them.

WEITERE KOMMENTARE IN Google

We were really looking forward to the evening and wanted to be surprised. Therefore, we chose both menus, with the signature dishes and wine pairings. Regarding the ambiance, the tables are very close together, so you can hear every word from the neighboring table. The service was hectic; personally, we think it would have been nicer to have a waiter; well, that's a matter of taste. The presentation on the table wasn't ideal either; the table was often too small, and the cutlery wasn't arranged neatly. As for the food, it was fine; you could tell that only top-quality ingredients were used, but every dish was too fruity for our taste; they used a lot of fruit, so the actual flavor of the main component remained in the background. The wine tour was unfortunately very disappointing; the wines chosen were far too fruity for our taste. There's the German wine tour and the mixed wine tour, although this one also contains predominantly German wines. The wines may go well with the fruity dishes, but overall, you don't notice anything because you're simply overly sweetened from both sides. The glasses are placed on the table, and by the time the food arrives, it's already warm. Warm and sweet. I pointed this out to the sommelier after the fourth glass and politely asked us to adjust the wine tasting. He did so and apparently charged us €20 for it. I wanted to challenge his competence, but I guess I failed. We've been to Michelin-starred restaurants many times, but we didn't feel the two-star distinction here. Bottom line: a waste of time and money.

Dining at Tim Raue was an experience that absolutely lived up to its reputation. From the friendly welcome to the final meal, we were perfectly served. The wine recommendation was excellent and fairly priced. Every course was perfectly prepared, sophisticated, and above all delicious. We went to Tim Raue as a group. Ranked 30th in the Top 50 Restaurants, the bar is already set pretty high. Let's see... The service is consistently friendly and professional. Questions are answered either directly or after consulting the kitchen. The welcome from the kitchen is one of the absolute highlights and increases the anticipation of the upcoming menu. Anyone who has seen Tim Raue on any TV show knows that he always explores the world of spices and certainly pushes the boundaries at times – exactly my thing. Accordingly, I can understand some of the criticism, but for me, it all works perfectly. The interplay of textures with surprising combinations of sour, salty, sweet, and spicy gives me great pleasure and meets my expectations. I had the "Kolibri" menu plus, of course, the Königsberger Klopse – it just had to be! Here, too, it's right on the edge, but for me, the seasoning is simply perfect. The wine pairing is a lot of fun and complements the dishes wonderfully. Now for some extremely high-level complaining: The ambiance unfortunately didn't appeal to me at all. I wouldn't take the table directly next to the kitchen again under any circumstances – you only have a very limited view into the kitchen, but you have all the hustle and bustle right next to you. You definitely don't need that! PS: The lamp that's taped to the kitchen – you probably can't see it from the kitchen, but for the guest, it's right at eye level... PLEASE! The wine pairing is wonderful, but at times it's presented rather listlessly. Anyone who has ever paid attention to cutlery and dishes in other Michelin-starred restaurants will be immensely disappointed here. Of course, the dish is the focus, but for me, Michelin-starred cuisine is a harmony of food, wine, service, and also the ambiance. The package has to be right! Would I go back? Not really – for me, Bianc in Hamburg remains the benchmark! Can I recommend a visit? Absolutely!

Compared to another two-star restaurant, I found the ambiance and service less than convincing. The service could have been more attentive and friendly overall. It seemed as if the necessary calm and care were not taken care of. For example, although our chair was held for us, the waiter seemed impatient as soon as we took off our jackets, which unfortunately made the welcome seem unnecessarily rushed. The presentation of the wine pairings was also rather sober – the explanations seemed routine and delivered with little passion. In terms of taste, most of the courses were quite interesting, but one or two dishes were not convincing and did not suit my personal taste.

Anyone who wants to get into Berlin's culinary world can do so quietly – or, like me, with a bang, right in the backyard of Rudi-Dutschke-Straße. The Tim Raue restaurant is a classic, a statement, and a place where flavors can explode. Tim himself? He took a moment, chatted a bit, showed us around the kitchen, and personally served the starters. I like his clear approach – it suits my tastes well. We had two culinary menus on the table: "Kolibri x Berlin" – with zander, pork knuckle, and fricassee – and the "Koi" menu – with crustacean broth, hake, and, of course, the infamous wasabi king prawn. It's as spicy as people's opinions about it: you either love it or you... don't. I belong to the former group. Pace, atmosphere, style – everything on point. Not a menu to daydream about, but one to wake you up to. And that’s exactly why it belongs on every culinary bucket list.

It was Wagyu beef. Probably a great product, but inedible. The chef said: Everything's fine! What else could he have done? Overall, very pretty and colorful dishes, which at some point were robbed of any inherent flavor by adding salt and wasabi. As the saying goes: You have to like it.

A real disappointment! With high expectations and equipped with a €600 voucher, we arrived at Tim Raue's on a Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. sharp – the enjoyment could begin. The amuse-bouche was seven times on one plate – promising. The quality of the individual dishes was excellent, except that over the course of the evening, the feeling hadn't developed that the spice was too spicy. The spiciness is sold as an Asian inspiration from the chef. Unfortunately, it's too one-sided and tiring for the palate. The service is very fast; no sooner has one course been cleared than the next one is on the table. Colorful plastic cutlery may not be to everyone's taste. Nor are obtrusive logos on the staff's clothing. Dessert also comes with a large cardboard flyer with a QR code, allowing you to order even more great items from the online shop. And the final highlight: After having to enter your voucher code when making your reservation and having mentioned the voucher at the beginning, the bill was presented without taking it into account (after all, it was more than 50% of the bill). Following my intervention, a correction was made, which was silently placed on the table. Especially in retrospect, the unpleasant impression remains that the focus here was not on the guest, but on business. My conclusion: There are better options, in Berlin and elsewhere.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A culinary highlight in Berlin-Kreuzberg 📍 Address: Rudi-Dutschke-Straße 26, 10969 Berlin ⸻ Ambience & Service The restaurant impresses with its stylish, urban ambiance with plenty of light, artistic decor, and relaxed yet professional service. The atmosphere is "upscale casual" – elegant, yet without stiff formality. The team – warm, charming, and competent – takes the time to explain each course, creating a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. ⸻ Cuisine & Taste – Two Michelin stars guaranteed • Asian fusion cuisine at the highest level: An exciting interplay of Japanese precision, Thai flavors, and Chinese culinary philosophy – modern, clear, surprising. • Signature dishes like "Wasabi Langoustine" and the spectacular interpretation of Peking duck delight with their depth of flavor and sophistication. • Special menus: "Kolibri x Berlin" (a tribute to Berlin's hometown with surprising childhood dishes like Königsberger Klopse) and "Koi" (innovative and seasonal). • Vegan menu: Wholesome, creative – no room for compromise, on par with the omnivorous menus. ⸻ Value for money • At lunch, there is a 4-course menu for approximately €88 (or up to 8 courses for approximately €148); in the evening: 6 courses from €188 and 8 courses for approximately €218. • The prices are worth every cent and are considered very fair considering the quality and creativity offered. ⸻ Wine & Drinks • The wine list impresses with a wide selection of superbly aged German Rieslings, clear Asian-inspired pairings, sake, and even Armagnac. • The excellent wine pairings are particularly noteworthy, such as Riesling Spätlese with wasabi langoustine or the combination of three drinks (wine, sake, Armagnac) with the duck interpretation. ⸻ Conclusion for Google Maps users • Cuisine: Exceptionally creative, precise, surprising – a great interplay of German-Asian influences. • Ambience & Service: Highly chic, yet relaxed – friendly, explanatory, and inviting. • Menus & Prices: Diverse selection, consistent price range, truly fair in relation to the quality. • Drinks: Excellent accompaniment – especially German Rieslings and exciting pairings. • Special features: Vegan menu, Saturday lunch specials, homage menus with Berlin charm. ⸻ Perfect rating (5 out of 5 stars) TimRaue is a top-class culinary experience – its cheesy, Asian-inspired compositions combined with relaxed Berlin charm make this restaurant an absolute must. Whether for a special occasion or as a highlight for gourmets – everything is just right here. ⸻ 👍 Ideal for fans of innovative gourmet cuisine who value taste, design, a personal ambiance, and perfectly matched drinks.

Compared to our last visit 15 years ago, we really enjoyed it this time: both the Berlin Hummingbird menu and the Asian Koi menu had surprising, very fine combinations. As a birthday surprise, we received a candle and a small cake at the end.

Truly fantastic food. The restaurant itself was unexpectedly "normal." The service was generally excellent. At first, everything seemed a bit rushed, as if we were rushing through the meal. And, unfortunately, when we were asked if we wanted champagne as an aperitif, I asked what other options were available. The man said, uh, yes... white or rosé champagne. We chose one. Later, looking at the menu, it became clear that there were, of course, a ton of great alternatives. People should be able to handle that.

Wow, what a restaurant. I don't think I've ever eaten so well. Highly recommended! A great mix of German and Asian cuisine. I definitely recommend the wine pairing. Each one is better than the last and perfectly complements each course.

I was really looking forward to this evening, not least because of Tim Raue's appearance on the TV series Star Kitchen, but I had correspondingly high expectations. Unfortunately, these weren't met. The ambiance was okay. I was really disappointed with the food. Many of the dishes were so salty that everything quickly tasted the same. For example, in one course, the highlight of which should have been the shrimp, I couldn't taste the shrimp because of all the salt. Especially considering the rather hefty price, I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, even the very friendly service couldn't salvage this. The only memories that remain are the salt and the awkward drinking glasses 😄

I like eating stars and this was the second worst experience. How you can even get a star with these clumsy, sweetly cheap sauces sheds a telling light on the Michelin guide, which is increasingly a counterindicator for me. A lot of money for a little marketing. It's amazing how many guests/reviewers (not necessarily identical, just who writes the reviews... 🤔) seem to have no idea about food.

I am probably not the best audience for a place like this but the price v/s performance ratio of this place is not justified. For anoyone wondering, it costs 292 euros per person without ANY drinks. Yes, it's a multi-course menu and each dish is carefully crafted but it is exorbitant price to pay for a restaurant that has a huge picture/painting of a garbage dump right in front of all the tables. Now the food was great. We were quite mind blown by a few dishes but after the 3rd or the 4th dish, the flavors started getting repetitive. But maybe my palette is not refined enough to distinguish between the flavors. But I would still rate the food quite highly. The main disappointment is the service. The main motto of the service staff here seems to be 'appear as nonchalant as possible'. Some of them were way too sassy to even answer a question properly and some of them just didn't care. I asked one of the staff members if I can remove a few dishes from this meal as this is a bit too much food for me (it's a 7-course menu) and the person said that he will check and get back. He never got back. I had to ask 2 more people to finally get an answer. There were other moments too but that's a story for another day. Major disappointment with the service was how they treated my boyfriend's birthday. So we spent 680 euros (2 people) as a birthday treat for my boyfriend and I had requested the restaurant beforehand that we are celebrating a special occasion but all they did on the day was they placed a candle with a generic message (Happy birthday from Tim Raue) on our table and gave us an extremely teeny-tiny desert at the end of our meal. I wish you guys have done a bit more. If needed, I could have paid to make this day a bit more special for him but this whole thing was a big let-down.

The restaurant undoubtedly has charm and an interesting atmosphere. Unfortunately, that evening we were placed in the basement area, where the air was quite stuffy - which noticeably affected the overall impression. The room was well lit and the service overall was competent; one lady in the team in particular made a noticeable effort. Nevertheless, there was a strange, elusive atmosphere in the room that couldn't quite be classified. As someone who has dined at a variety of restaurants all over the world - from Europe to Asia to Central America - I was unfortunately not impressed with the culinary offerings. The dishes seemed like classic German home cooking, interpreted in a modern way with influences from Japanese, French and Chinese cooking techniques. However, there was nothing that surprised or thrilled the taste. When I read the menu, I could already imagine what each dish would taste like - and that's exactly how it was. It was missing that certain something, the culinary “wow”. Given the price level, I would also have liked either the chef or the restaurant manager to personally introduce themselves at the table and ask for feedback. This personal touch, which is a given in many countries, is unfortunately still missing far too often in Germany - even in upscale restaurants. Conclusion: A place with potential, but currently still has room for improvement - both in terms of atmosphere, culinary creativity and customer proximity.

Went to this place for the first time 10 years ago and got sublime creations of understated, sophisticated flavour balances based on (Hong Kong) Chinese cuisine mixed with a bit of Germany, France and Japan. Not cheap but soooo good! Tonight, only a few dishes were sublime including the super elegant amuse bouche serving of various 'pickles'. The wines were outstanding. The service by our main server was impeccable. However, too many dishes were drowned in too intense, off balance sauces with too many flavour additions from especially the Thai cuisine. Also, some sublime produce like a bresse chicken, a duck and some wagyu beef was cooked in a way that did not honour the quality of the produce. And, the signature dishes were in general a complete tourist trap rip off in terms of price/serving size.

Service was excellent! We really felt like royalty. ~10 portions ~4h of lovely experience . Every round, they changed the entire cutlery “set". Somehow only the women waitresses were carrying the heavy trays… :( Food was nice, creative, but no tastes that swept us off our feet. The menu is fixed you can only pick 1 of 2 ver. We shared, so we tasted both. In our opinion, the price is unreasonable compared to what we got.

The food was nothing to complain about. Unfortunately we missed a corresponding service. Non-alcoholic drinks had to be asked for by brand, and sometimes items were only offered after they had been explicitly asked for. Long waiting times for drinks, even though a waiter was constantly walking past the table. No-go: the plates were not clean. I have complained about this several times. You could see water stains under the light. They said this was normal. When I showed with my napkin that this could be polished away, nothing more was said. I expect clean plates from a 2 star restaurant!

We had reserved weeks in advance and were really looking forward to it. Expectations were exceeded. Without meaning to be derogatory, you feel like you're "something better" for an evening. Service perfect, don't know what could be done better. Very friendly, accommodating, attentive but not intrusive. There is also a sommelier and his 70 page wine list 😊 There was always interaction between all employees, everyone had their tasks. The ambience is clean, stylish and very clean - in the dining room as well as in the sanitary facilities. The menu is very well coordinated. We chose KOI once and KOLIBRI once. One taste explosion after another. Very well seasoned, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who otherwise eat very little spice or salt. First there was a greeting from the kitchen, then the individual courses at a great distance and before dessert there was another little something from the kitchen. Personally, I had different expectations from the dim sum, the course didn't do so well for me in terms of taste and spices, I actually expected a dumpling, but of course it's a matter of taste. To the eye alone, all the courses were perfect. Overall, a very successful evening and a total experience for us. You can do it 😉 Here again praise for the service and cuisine. Unfortunately we didn't meet Mr. Raue.

Sounds promising, but doesn't deliver. The oysters and mussels were wonderful, but the rest was unfortunately disappointing. The ceviche was boring. Very small plates, but high prices. It seemed uninspired and random, with no real common thread. The service was too arrogant for me. There was no recommendation or advice about the wine, and the plates were carelessly placed in a very odd order. If the tipping expectations aren't met, you are treated condescendingly as a guest. That hasn't happened to me in a long time. I had high expectations and, unfortunately, I'm not sad that I can't do this again.

Brilliantly creative cuisine and someone who understands how to use "simple" ingredients well. Respect! Two years ago, we had the non-alcoholic accompaniment and have never been offered such great drinks since. The service was outstanding. Thank you very much. The various strategies in the menu have been interesting to follow over the years. Unfortunately, the harsh and perhaps annoyed, bitter tone of the owner/chef in response to the comments here irritates me. I wish you continued success!
