Food was decent but not great, and the portions were small even though the dishes were really expensive for what you get. Also the cocktails were small in quantity and not good at all. On top of this service was very slow even though it was not busy at all. The place is ok but nothing more. I have no idea why their score is not worse.

Alright food, but expensive for portion size and quality. The cocktails were nothing special, despite being priced as if it was high end. Also the waiting times were long and seemingly for nothing. It took them a long time to get back about an item on the menu that they didn't even have anymore.

Food was amazingggg and the service was too. They were super understanding when our whole party only was complete an hour later than the reservation, provided wine for my birthday and all the food was incredible. The pricing is also super reasonable for they quality and quantity

We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday at Moon on July 26th. All of us (9 people) were absolutely thrilled! The food was Michelin-star quality and top-notch! The dishes were creative, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The service team was incredibly attentive, professional, super friendly, and very funny! The chef and owner of Moon was always up for a chat, explained the dishes, and was extremely approachable and friendly! We'll be hearing a lot more about MoonExquisite... I'm sure of it! A 5/5 Google rating can't fully capture how satisfied I was with Moon Exquisite, but I think some key aspects of my experience should be highlighted as below. The restaurant really stands out for its location, offering both indoor and outdoor experiences for different preferences. Seated outside by the Spree river, it’s expected to be greeted by breezes of wind that soothe minds and conversations, suitable for those looking to clear their minds or enjoy a peaceful night. Indoors, the setting showcases a polished, well-thought interior setup. I personally prefer to sit outside as long as the weather's no worse than a light drizzle. Once seated, you will be presented with a well-curated drinks menu that is designed to accommodate the dishes. I had a great time with the cocktail options, with each posing its own unique blend of flavors, like how P*rnstar Martini has a really sour core yet much sweeter extra layers. During non-crowded nights, it may be possible to request more customized drink options, thus elevating your experience further. In terms of a polished journey, this is something the restaurant strives to provide. Servers are equipped with comprehensive knowledge of the dishes, so their recommendations stay reliable and on-point. Another thing is how Moon Exquisite makes sure it always listens keenly to any customer's feedback, whether a dish is perfectly crafted or in need of improvement. This level of attentiveness and care stands out for me particularly and keeps me coming back. Moving to the main course of the night, we have the dishes. From appetizers and mains to desserts, the elements done well in this aspect are plenty: Complexity of flavors that makes many go “Wow!” out loud, the way even the smallest component is essential to the dish, or the dedication to hand-craft nearly every element. I'd recommend ordering a different set each time you visit, as the chef always knows how to keep you guessing. With all that said, I can’t wait to come back. What about you?

The place is fine and the waiters are reasonably friendly, but we found the food to be horrible. The meats (both duck and pork (which had supposedly been cooked for 14 hours) were tough, as were the vegetables. Since it was listed in the Michelin Guide, we thought paying 30 euros for a dish would be acceptable and meet our expectations, but it didn't. We were very disappointed; the waiter didn't even ask us how the food was when he saw we'd left food on our plates. We'll be back. A shame.

I ordered Pho soup without cilantro, and twice they failed to serve it without it. I definitely won't pay for this, as we would have had to wait two hours for the food. The price/performance ratio is completely over the top! I wouldn't recommend it!

We had pumpkin soup and pork belly for starters, duck for main course, and lemonade and iced tea for drinks. Not only did it taste good, but it was also beautifully presented and uniquely paired. The food and drinks at this restaurant were some of the best I've ever eaten or drunk, if not the best! The service is very friendly and attentive. You can sit inside or outside, and outside you can sit right by the river. The prices are a bit more expensive, but completely justified. We're sad that we were only here on vacation and can't come here more often; we highly recommend it!

This was fantastic. As a young person you are often seen as a burden, because they assume you can't give a tip or can't pay for the food, but here we were welcomed very friendly. The whole evening we were served by 2 young men who had the best intentions for us. For example, we were warned that it would rain and that it would be wise to go inside, but we also got a small soup beforehand and dessert for free when they learned that we were on holiday. Definitely recommended!

Lovely meal and very nice and attentive staff. Portions are delicious, however not very big and that makes the dishes pricy. Options in the menu are ok, it's not a big one, however they did not have duck, which cancelled 2 of their main dishes. Overall it's a good place with nice flavors but the price might make it an every once in a while type of place, not a regular one.

Wir bestellten Cocktails die es auf der Karte nicht gab und der Chef selbst nahm sich die Zeit allen Gästen jedes Gericht zu erklären. Was für ein Erlebnis!! This restaurant does very basic dishes you find in a low end Vietnamese restaurant only plating them nicely and mimicking service in a high end restaurant but in an in-genuine way. Besides it’s lame the waiter said he has “ A LOT of recommendations” which essentially means he recommends all the food. Underwhelming and unsatisfying overall.

Every dish is a taste explosion and you won't want to stop. The restaurant and the whole atmosphere is very cozy. It is located about 1 minute from the Rotes Rathaus subway station in the Nikolaiviertel, near Alexanderplatz and is easily accessible by public transport. You can really have a good time at Moon Exquisite. The prices are very affordable for this top quality.

An experience for the senses! The Moon Exquisite restaurant in the Nikolai district is truly a very special place. You feel welcome as soon as you enter - the service is extremely friendly and attentive. But the real highlight is the food! The Dry Age Brandenburg free-range duck is simply indescribable – juicy, tender and full of flavor. I have never experienced such quality before. And best of all, the prices are incredibly fair for what you get. Added to this is the fantastic view of the banks of the Spree, which rounds off the entire experience. Moon Exquisite will definitely be my new favorite spot in the heart of Berlin!

In addition, the portions were small, while the prices are considered particularly high in relation to the quality and quantity of the dishes. Yesterday I was looking for a restaurant that I visited with a good friend 13 years ago. I found it too, but unfortunately it was closed. However, since I was hungry and didn't want to go far, I looked at the neighboring restaurant. Beautiful colors, very stylish from the outside already. When I read that there was Asian fusion cuisine here, I was hooked. So why not, take a look inside! In the entrance area you are welcomed at the bar before service, with a classic reservation desk, a beautiful bar... the in-house ripening cabinet also suggests and promises a lot. I was promptly welcomed, my wardrobe was taken away and I was offered a place. The guest room itself is divided into two rooms and impresses with its modern elegance in dark green tones paired with some gold and subtle mirrors. Beautifully set tables with white tablecloths, cutlery and glasses. You can see the desire to offer some upscale gastronomy here. A small drawback, paper napkins instead of cloth, but more on that later. The selection of food and drinks is limited, which I find to be a good thing as a restaurateur and chef, because you can always see the freshness and quality of the products. The same applies to the operators' perspective on their concept and the desire to always be able to offer their guests good quality. Let's get to the process. As an aperitif there was the house's own rose sparkling wine, very tasty and more than fair in price for Berlin standards. Since I wanted to be surprised, I decided on a 4-course surprise menu. At €58, this is very well priced, you don't get too much but not too little either. At the start there was a greeting from the kitchen which was served here in the form of a soup... a "Tom Yam soup". As an Asia fan, I was very happy with it. I would like to make a small suggestion for improvement here...! A little bread and butter at the start or just in between would loosen things up a bit and bring more joy to the guest and more time to the kitchen. The starter was pork belly from Duroc pork, cooked sous vide for 16 hours. Very tender with a yet beautiful crust, all components worked together to create harmony. In the second course there was a wonderful confit scallop. I've eaten a lot of them, but this one was special! Butter is tender and with a world of aromas that I have never had before. For the main course, the senior service employee asked me which I would prefer... entrecote or rump steak! I said that the chef should please decide what he recommends. It came with the entrecote...I just wanted it to be medium rare! You know what's coming...unfortunately it didn't work. Nevertheless, I got it new without any complaints and it was exactly right. Here too I gave the advice that it would be better to cut the steak a little smaller but thicker! That makes it easier... to get a medium rare steak that's not even 1cm high, even I would have problems sometimes. Enclosed was a wonderfully dressed mashed potato to put in...plenty of butter and lime zest...fresh and simply wonderful. The dessert was a crème brulee with a scoop of ice cream...also a dream. The whole thing is accompanied by a bottle of Sauvignon blanc from Rheinhessen. Nice drop. This was rounded off with a degistif, where I received an addition to my order directly from the service without any charge. It was a beautiful evening that I can see eye to eye with colleagues in my profession. Conclusion: An up-and-coming restaurant with room for improvement in terms of service, but the kitchen is well positioned and you can feel a really nice and sincere hospitality here. I just wanted to try something new and ordered a three-course menu here. The first bite sent me into a taste ecstasy. The different flavors and extras that accompany the dishes come together in pure harmony. Unfortunately my day didn't go so well that day, but after dinner it was still perfect! I would especially recommend the cheesecake as dessert, juicy but not too sweet and the taste is in a different world. The condition must be mentioned separately. Very friendly, fast and attentive in what is otherwise a service desert in Germany. I can't understand the negative reviews at all, the price was definitely worth the food and service! I will definitely come back when I need a break from everyday life.

A very good reconversion of Balthazar which we almost no longer recognize. There is now a more “fusion” cuisine of multiple inspirations. Their white Châteauneuf-du-Pape is very good.

We had an exquisite meal at Moon on Valentine's Day and had the Valentine's Day 4-course menu as a couple and it was just great! Fine ingredients and a great combination of different flavors that you don't know before and simply taste incredibly delicious! Absolute recommendation, we will definitely come back!

Pork belly was great - the risotto it was served on was cold but still tasted great and there was only 3 pieces for party of 2. Always weird. The burrata was served with some fruit/crackers and enjoyed. Would have had multiple rounds of the soup if we weren’t on the go!

Es waren genau so große Portionen wie bei den normalen Hauptgängen a la carte. Wir gehen gerne sehr gut essen und waren alle der Meinung, dass wir lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen haben. Einziger kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: mein Hauptgang (Chickenwomanizer) kam etwas lauwarm an. Ggf. Teller stärker vorwärmen. Ansonsten aber hervorragend. Qualität der Speisen, der Location sowie insbesondere der Service super.

After reading some negative reviews due to the change in ownership, we were initially unsettled. However, completely baseless. Absolutely friendly service, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Also worth highlighting is the very good price-performance ratio of the surprise menu as well as the sufficiently large portions! The portions were just as big as the normal main courses a la carte. We like to eat very well and we all agreed that we hadn't eaten so well in a long time. The only small suggestion for improvement: my main course (Chickenwomanizer) arrived a little lukewarm. If necessary, preheat the plate more. But otherwise excellent. The quality of the food, the location and especially the service are great.

We drove here a little skeptically when we came to the restaurant, wow......great ambience, a lot of attention to detail.....and then Anh Hoa conjured up a variety of creations for us......a taste explosion , the Amazing.......I can more than recommend this restaurant.......We were thrilled and would love to come back......

Unfortunately, Balthazar 2 no longer exists as we knew it. The owner has changed. There is now only Asian cuisine and you have to like that. The ambience is visually no longer what it used to be. Everything dark green and gloomy. It's a shame that one of our favorite restaurants has been lost again.

It's a shame the crash after the change of ownership. No carbohydrates, e.g. bread, ordered meat 'rare', got shoe soles, everything was lukewarm. Cuvee of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon touted as a white wine. Poorly invested money
