Everything was fine at first, but unfortunately, three girls had to cancel spontaneously during a round of ten, and the owner reacted very annoyed. (Rolling eyes and unfriendly) The customer is king, that's how it is, and I find it very inappropriate. There were enough tables everywhere where more guests could have sat down. The food was good, but unfortunately we won't be coming back. Rudeness in the restaurant industry is the biggest killer. However, the other waitress and one male waiter were very, very nice, so the stars go to those two - thank you.

An incredibly great place in the middle of Neukölln: Great, compliments on so much loving and excellently implemented cooking and baking craftsmanship. French dishes and pastries are prepared with a lot of love and are very inexpensive (compared to HH) and the charm and flair of this place is embodied by the owner. A real place to breathe deeply and enjoy.

As a French, I went there thinking I’d find some quality food but honestly was very disappointed. The croque monsieur was clearly made with poor quality ingredients which is simply disappointing and also way too expensive for what it is. As a French, I wouldn’t call this a good French restaurant. This without mentioning the boss’s attitude towards her employees…

Editing the original review to reply to your reply: I provided no comment mainly because I was hoping to avoid the somewhat confrontational finger-pointing reaction that other negative reviews have received. But since that didn't work, here goes. I left the review a few minutes after leaving the restaurant. I was not satisfied and am not sure what makes you say I was. Leaving negative reviews is not morally questionable. I care both about the business owners as well as the restaurant-goers. If everybody only ever left positive reviews, they would not mean anything and would not incentivize anyone to run a good business. As for the review: On entering, I found the atmosphere peculiar. It was a tad too dark and reminded me of a school cafeteria with everybody sort of tucked away to the side. The decor was okay. The mens bathroom doubles as a storage space and that could be improved. I found the brunch menu confusing and on the expensive side. Galettes were not available. The service was utterly disorganized. Me and my partner waited a long time to get the menu and for every next step. The waiter first brought us the wrong coffee. We had to explicitly ask for cutlery after being served our food, as did most other tables. Another table also had to ask for cups after being brought just a teapot. The bad chemistry between yourself and the waiter was constantly on display and did not improve the atmosphere. My pancake with bacon and scrambled eggs initally came with very little bacon, but I do appreciate that you later topped me and another customer up with more bacon without our asking for it. The negative points above could all be offset by the food. Unfortunately, we found it average, from the taste to the presentation. Certainly not bad, but definitely overpriced for the experience. I cannot comment on your dinner options, but visiting for brunch was helpful for our resolution to cook more at home. It is with a moderate amount of anxiety that I am pressing the Post button. Nevertheless, I hope you find any of these comments helpful.

The owner is very witty, very genuine and very fun. The food is good and actually close to what one would get in France (source: I am french). It's a great spot for a Sunday afternoon Kaffee Kuchen.

Visited in the beginning of April 2024 Incredibly rude owner was speaking loudly in French with some customers as we arrived with our baby. Little did she know we understood everything she was saying about how much she hates customers with little children, and how annoying they are. The funny part? The customers she was speaking to also had a baby, too! Reading other reviews here, this seems to match her behavior pretty well in regards to being “family friendly”. We sat for 20 minutes (while the owner chatted and then had a relaxing cigarette next to the tables with people eating outside) before anybody came to serve us. The waiter, who was obviously working her first shift, was sweet and friendly, but made a couple of mistakes (no syrup in a Berliner Weisse Rot, wrong coffee) but nothing too bad. When I went in to pay, the owner was verbally tearing her a new one. Horrible, abusive behavior. If you want to support a nice local business in the Kiez, go anywhere but here!

Sehr gute Küche. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Die besten selbstgemachten Burger weit und breit. Die selbstgebacknen Kuchen sind ebenfalls einen Besuch wert.

We have been going out to eat regularly for three years. During this time, the very good cuisine has improved even further. The kitchen is excellent and always has good new ideas. The wines are unusually good and go well with the food. Everything is freshly prepared. The home-baked cakes stand up to any comparison. We remain loyal to the restaurant.

Sehr gutes, frisch zubereitetes Essen. Gute Zutaten und ausgezeichnet abgeschmeckt. Die Weine sind ausgesucht und passen sehr gut zu den Speisen. Ein Stück selbst gebackener Kuchen rundet das Menü ab.

Ich war jetzt zweimal mit meiner Frau und meiner kleinen Tochter dort und beide Male war ich bester Laune als ich wieder gegangen bin. Das Essen war exzellent. Dazu kommt, dass alle die dort arbeiten ausgesprochen freundlich und herzlich waren. Absolut empfehlenswert für Menschen die gut zubereitetes Essen schätzen.

Bezaubernd und unprätentiös! Auf der Suche nach einem netten Platz zum draußen sitzen und plaudern landeten wir in diesem französischen Restaurant. Ich hatte einen klassischen Flammkuchen, der hielt was der Name verspricht, unsere Bekannte ein Croque Madame, das ihr mündete. Meine Frau hatte zuerst einen Rosé frappé, einen schönen Cocktail und dann einen "richtigen", einen schönen Cotes de Provence. Ich, als alter Biertrinker, war mit dem Berliner Berg (wo auch immer in Berlin ein *Berg* ist) gut bedient. Ich mag ja diese "Zitrusnote" der jetzt so modernen craft-biere. Was den Abend aber so richtig abrundete war das Wirtspaar. Echte Franzosen. Die Wirtin fährt ab 12.8. wieder da hin um neue Inspirationen zu sammeln und hat uns schon für den September zu moules frittes (schreibt man das so?) eingeladen. Ich kann nur sagen: Wir werden wieder kommen. ------- Nach langem endlich mal wieder im mimosa😊 Warum habe ich so lange gewartet wieder hier einzutauchen. Per Telefon einen Tisch für zwei und moules frites reserviert. Und es war wieder herrlich. Nie wieder so eine lange mimosa-pause✌️

Köstliches Essen mit fairen Preisen! Ich besuche das Restaurant seit dem Anfang und bin nie enttäuscht worden! Meine Kinder sind auch von Maries Küche total begeistert :-) Die selbstgemachte Kuchen müssen unbedingt probiert werden! Sie schmecken hervorragend gut!! Freundliche Besitzerin und das Lokal ist sehr gemütlich und mit Geschmack dekoriert Lohnt sich total hier, zu kommen und Maries Küche genießen! Bon appétit:-)

Beautiful cafe. We went there for a spontaneous dinner before a nearby concert at Prachtwerk. Great tastes, good wine recommendation. We sat in the terrace but it also looked very cosy inside. Good for a date ;)

Bonjour, je me suis rendu il y a quelques semaines dans votre restaurant et j'ai trouvé la personne en cuisine (la propriétaire?) absolument infecte envers ses employées (remarques vexatoires, injustes, médisances). On y mange bien mais fuyez si vous cherchez l'éthique au travail !

Ich habe gestern in diesem Restaurant gegessen. Selten habe ich eine so unfreundliche Köchin erlebt. Das Essen war nicht sehr gut, die Wartezeit war sehr lang und es war sehr laut. Ich würde es nicht empfehlen!

Der erste Eindruck als wir reinkamen war: „ach, das ist ja nett hier“. Kaffee und etwas zu essen bestellt, alles superlecker und der Preis absolut angemessen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

So lecker habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen wie hier. Alles war perfekt abgestimmt. Mit Abstand besser als viele bekannten Restaurants mit deutlich höhere Preise. Ich freue mich jetzt schon aufs nächste Mal.

Bad experience. Some ridiculous rules, as you can't seat outside with a laptop because eventually would rain (!?), or request about don't plug it because the electricity consumption (!!??). I guess, maybe they just don't want people working with a notebook, but for some reason they weren't able to say it in this way. Also noisy and odorus inside when they are cooking

Restaurant Les Mimosa is one of those small restaurants that make Berlin so charming. In a French atmosphere, the restaurant owner goes out of her way to satisfy her customers. We came as a family and were delighted by the simple but refined dishes. The desserts are excellent, and the profiteroles were a special delight for the children. The wine list is not extensive but the organic risling chosen was excellent. The service is also very friendly and everything is done with heart. We can only recommend Marie's cuisine and will definitely be coming back.

Sehr nette Inhaberin und Bedienung, guter Kaffee, und was ich bisher gegessen habe, schmeckte auch. Die Preise sind in Ordnung. Wenn jetzt die Stühle noch etwas bequemer wären, hätte es das Zeug zum Stammcafé. Aber bei längerem Sitzen wird's etwas unbequem. Die Flammkuchen sind fantastisch, der korsische Wein ist sehr gut.

Dieses Restaurant stellt ein wahres Kleinod im sonst so Hippsterüberannten Rixdorf dar. Französiche wochenaktuelle handgemachte Speisen. kundenwünsche werden, wenn möglich, sofort umgesetzt. Es handelt sich um ein Restaurant mit französischer Landküche, keine Haute Cuisine, das macht es in Berlin so einzigartig und schön. Einziger Punkt zur Verbesserung, eventuell sollten sie auch im Namen und der Außendarstellung darauf hinweisen, dass es ein Restaurant ist. Durch den Begriff Café am Anfang, denkt man schnell, nur Tagesgeschäft und keine Abendkarte. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, Danke Marie

Wo die Liebe den Tisch deckt, schmeckt das Essen am Besten. Marie ist die Besitzerin dieses kleinen gemütlichen französischen Juwels im Herzen von Neukölln und gleichzeitig auch die (fantastische) Köchin der wunderbaren, mit viel Sorgfalt ausgesuchten Speisen. Schon das bloße Anschauen oder Riechen der hübsch angeordneten und farbenfrohen Gerichte beim Nachbarn weckt die Phantasie und macht Lust, es zu probieren. Das Confit de canard war ein Traum. C'était vraiment délicieux! Gutes Essen ist etwas Besonderes, das man mit der Familie und Freunden teilen kann und jeder Restaurantbesuch ist ein geselliger Anlass, um gemütlich beim Essen und Trinken zusammenzusitzen. Das Mimosa ist ein Stück französische Lebensart in Berlin.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und ich kann jedem empfehlen, sich hier einmal kulinarisch verwöhnen zu lassen. Bon appétit!

Very noisy small place. I ordered a coffe and a piece of cake. The cake was ok, the coffee took ages to show up, and when it finally came, it was wrong (with milk) so let's wait again to have another one. And...let's wait again to pay. I hope to go to pension soon so I can come back there and enjoy wasting time.

Wir wurden nachdem wir erwähnten haben das wir einen Kaffee und Kuchen essen möchten kurzerhand "heraus geworfen" mit der Begründung das sie ein Restaurant sind. Auf die Frage was das heißen soll sagte mir die Kellnerin bei ihnen könnte man nicht nur ein Kaffee trinken und Kuchen essen. Schade ich war schon mehrmals in diesem Café und es gab bis jetzt nie Probleme.

Selten habe ich mich so wohl gefühlt. Hier hat man eher das Gefühl man ist bei Marie Agnes zu Hause, als in einem Restaurant. Die Küche ist super, die Weinkarte hält Überraschungen bereit, der persönliche Service einzigartig. Bitte auf jeden Fall ausprobieren!!!

Ein wundervoller Treffpunkt mit charmant französischer Atmosphäre und exklusivem Angebot zum Schlemmen und wohlfühlen. Vom Frühstück über Mittag und Kaffee bis zum Abend folgt hier ein Genuss auf den nächsten. Extrem zu empfehlen!

Nous avons passé un très bon moment au café Mimosa le week end dernier à Berlin. Les plats sont délicieux et cuisinés "maison": pizzas, tartes flambées, salades,... et les desserts sont vraiment délicieux: fondant chocolat, tarte aux fraises,... Mention spéciale pour les profiteroles (elles aussi "maison"). Evidemment pour couronner le tout le service était très agréable. Continuez comme cela Marie!

Die Besitzerin Marie ist ausgesprochen freundlich, ich durfte sogar mein IPhone mit ihrem Ladekabel aufladen. Die Preise sind fair, die Qualität der Speisen (wir hatten das Käse- und das süße Frühstück) war fantastisch. Wie gut die Früchte geschmeckt haben, hat mich umgehauen, wie kann das im November möglich sein? Wir kommen gerne wieder! Merci!

Asked for gelato to go as I saw outside on the menu, we were told we can have it at the table too. Went on to sit down, then the other waiter informs us we can’t order just ice cream at the table… We go back inside prepared for takeaway - then guess what? We are refused service! Unbelievably rude.
