Unfortunately, the service here was far from pleasant. Our waitress was extremely rude, unprofessional, and clearly had no idea how to communicate with guests. On top of that, she didn’t speak good English, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. this place seriously needs to improve its staff training. Definitely would not recommend

Food was completely unseasoned, tofu overly fried and I felt quite sick the evening and morning after this dinner. Cute interior and friendly service but that's about it. Unfortunately, not recommendable.

The pho here is absolutely delicious, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try!

I don't know why this place doesn't have 1,000 stars. Spectacular sushi, incredible Vietnamese dishes, 10/10 service, fast and friendly service, and incredible prices (cheaper than in Spain). Highly recommended, without a doubt!

The shop has been around for a while. I was there every now and then until about a year and a half ago. But then I stopped. The food had gotten kind of boring. I was there again recently for the first time in about a year and a half and was really impressed. Especially with the lunch menu. About 15 dishes for €10. They come with tofu or chicken. For €12 you can get everything with crispy chicken, for €13 with beef and for €14 with crispy duck. The portions are really generous. Much more than other lunch options in the area, some are even bigger than some other regular portions. The taste is really great. Truly delicious. The homemade lemonades are also great and the price is completely reasonable. I was so impressed that I went back two days later. Currently, if your bill is over €30, you get a dessert on the house. Things are getting better. I will definitely be coming back often and hope things stay this way. Good food, generous portions at a good price.

Schöner Standort, keine Wartezeit und so schmeckt auch das Essen. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen. Eindeutig keine Empfehlung.

The restaurant is nice, the service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, my chicken was spoiled—it made me feel sick.

My favourite restaurant in the neighbourhood ❤️ absolutely in love with this place! I know pho is the star of the show when it comes to soups, but they have a soup called Sua Dua that’s my absolute favourite, so flavourful and warm, really makes you feel like you’re in the warm embrace of a mother. The curries are delicious, and their sushi is also top tier. Normally we get takeout but I’ve eaten in the restaurant a few times and it’s lovely in there, the attention is so kind it’s such a nice spot. I’m moving away in a couple of weeks and this is one of the places I’ll miss the most! Thank you Mother’s Heart for all the delicious food 🥹

It was very tasty, but unfortunately one of our ordered starters was forgotten.

I haven't been able to eat anything here yet, but I'll definitely come here. It smelled delicious and the staff were very friendly. They were the ONLY ones around the South Star who would let you in to the toilet. Thanks for that!

The lovely restaurant Mother's Heart is located right next to the Südstern subway station. Good food, outdoor seating, and friendly service! And kid-friendly! Vietnamese food and now also sushi at reasonable prices – I love eating there often!

The food is very tasty and fresh .

When two girls politely ask if they can please use the bathroom and are turned away, people, not cool, not cool at all. As a regular guest, I have hardly ever used your toilet in all these years, so it would only be fair compensation. From that point on, even though the prices are constantly rising, we can still be found there regularly because the service is relaxed, because the service is quick, because it's good and tastes good.

Definitely surprised! The combination of fresh herbs, crunchy vegetables and tender pieces of meat was a delight. The atmosphere is particularly noteworthy. The service was attentive and quick.

Very good quality-price and, in addition, they have a lunch menu 🍽️ Authentic Asian flavor with super tasty dishes, highlighting the mango red curry 🍛 and the udon xao with crispy chicken 🤤 The staff is very friendly and they are super fast preparing takeout orders. I will repeat 💯

This place is cute! But the tofu udon dish I ordered felt uninspired — with coarsely-cut vegetables and bland, non-fried tofu. For 14 EUR, you can find some superior vegetarian alternatives in this corridor.

Had super tasty sushi. We were 9 people (4 adults, 5 kids) and ate perfect sushi without a reservation. Also delicious (slightly salted) edamame beans… Excellent price/quality ratio. Highly recommended!

The food we had was pretty good but the treatment from one of the waiters was pretty bad. Plus, we asked several times gluten-free options and the gluten intolerant person between us ended up somehow with a dish with ingredients that had gluten. Being objective food is good, but food allergies are dangerous and something not to play with

Super spicy soup and ginger tea. Quite well priced for the quantity. It was also prepared spicy upon request without losing any taste. However, the Vietnamese dance floor is borderline and almost unbearable in repeat. escape now without coffee

Good food that is not “spiced up” with flavor enhancers, delicious homemade drinks, friendly staff and fair prices, what more could you want? Very friendly shop, which, despite being very popular in the neighborhood during Corona times, pays attention to safety and distances. Update as of 7/2024: a new team has now taken over under the same name, with unfortunately rather average results for the prices in terms of taste and service, therefore fewer stars, 3 + 1/2. A pity.

The food and service are very good and compared to what you pay you get a high quality and very filling food.

It was a takeaway. The food was good, but we were eating outdoors and no chopsticks or napkins were provided, which we unfortunately found out later.

Good asian place. Big selection of dishes. They also have lunch options which are cheaper - 9€ instead of 12€. They also offer sushi as well as rice and noodle dishes.

You pay for the decorations, not the food. The sauces are all very watery, coconut sauce dishes and peanut sauce are inedible. The drinks are too expensive. They would sell 300* more drinks if the price was fairer. Very uneconomical. Food is poor value for money but edible. Everyone can cook this better at home. If you adjust the two things. 1. Sauces 2. Drink prices Then the store would always be full and I would get a 4.5 instead of a 3. Anyone who thinks the food here is good hasn't had Thai food yet. The sauce consists of sugar and water.

The food was visually beautifully presented, but I found it to be a bit bland in terms of taste. A mango lassi is unfortunately overpriced at €5.50…

The food was barely acceptable, I wouldn't go again and I wouldn't recommend it. I had summer rolls and a papaya salad, both with prawns. The prawns were small and gummy, almost tasteless. The salad was drenched in sugar and didn't taste of much else. Portions were pretty small too. The menu seems to have a lot of different options, including sushi, but the meal didn't leave me wanting to come back for more.

I have tried it few times, the overall quality is stable, the food is delicious, beautifully decorated, large portions and affordable prices. Recently the restaurant changed ownership and there were some small changes but when I tried it it was still very tasty and the quality was very good. The lunch menu offers more choice at a price of €9. There were changes to the menu, but only to make it clearer (previously the entire menu was on a large A3 platinum sheet, the text was crowded and quite difficult to see). Luckily all prices remain the same! I hope they maintain the quality and all the best!

It used to be great, hence the good reviews. New operator since 2024 and significantly worse, but more expensive. At most 2 stars… In addition: only issues receipts upon explicit request; billing is done without a receipt, even if you ask “for the invoice”. Card payment only over €10 and only with SumUp. This raises another suspicion...

I indulged in their edamame and vegan pho soup, which were both exquisite. The portion size was generous, and the tofu and vegetables were perfectly cooked, tender, and crispy. The edamame was crunchy, fresh, and seasoned just the way I like it, with plenty of salt!

According to the name of this establishment, we gathered here to honor and finally say goodbye to the heart of our mother colleague. The atmosphere made a worthy farewell ceremony possible and the food was delicious.

The dishes are of the highest quality, I've been there several times and have tried almost everything (except the desserts). Starters, soups & sushi: pretty good too. The portions are large and there is a choice of meat, seafood or tofu or other vegan meat substitutes. So price/performance is unbeatable. Very nice atmosphere. Very nice staff. Once again a successful evening - also suitable for groups, so it's better to reserve in advance.

Plastic flowers ok - but the food didn't taste like it was cooked with "Mothers Heart" - raw chicken wontangs inside, a whiskey sauce that tasted like spiced ketchup diluted with water. YIKES - an absolute no-go. But the waitress took the time to understand our criticism. We won't be coming back. Thx

Very loud, friendly staff. The food seemed like frozen food and arrived lukewarm. My dish was supposed to contain garlic and chili, but unfortunately it only tasted like salt. But the house drinks were very tasty.

Nel cuore di un quartiere molto movimentato (il che vuol dire che potete trovare anche strade chiuse dalla polizia e scene da CSI), un locale semplice ma carino, con servizio veloce e ottimi piatti vietnamiti dai noodles ai piatti con riso. Birra alla spina godibile; prezzi medio-bassi. Una immersione nella Berlino reale, lontana dai luoghi più frequentati dai turisti.

Unfortunately, the Pho soup was pretty bland. Large pieces of tofu and broccoli in broth with noodles for 12 euros.

The food was good, great selection of vietnamese (pho) and sushi. The ambience is great with plants and trees, and the server was quick and kind! Could be slightly more intense in taste (coming from someone with an asian pallette), but the food was still good nonetheless.

Not extraordinary, but very solid. Good food, friendly service. You can go there without any worries. Unfortunately there is no coffee machine and Vietnamese coffee is not for everyone.

Eigentlich mochte ich dieses Restaurant sehr. Gestern war allerdings ein Tiefpunkt. Das Lokal war eiskalt, die Tischnachbarin saß mit Mütze und Schal beim Essen. Die Servicekraft war äußerst unfreundlich. Mein Begleiter hat eine Glutenunverträglichkeit. Auf seine Frage ob in der Suppe nur Reismehl verarbeitet wird (glutenfrei) gab es eine unfreundliche Antwort. Sie wollte auch nicht in der Küche nachfragen mit der Begründung "die wissen das auch nicht". Bei mir kam der Verdacht auf, dass in dieser Küche nicht wirklich gekocht wird. Wir haben das Restaurant dann verlassen und sind zum Thailänder am Südstern.

Der Service ist äußert schlecht. Man muss in den laden gehen um die Speisekarte zu bekommen. Kellner sind komplett desinteressiert.

Vorab, ein super Laden mit sehr leckerem Essen. Dennoch möchte ich darauf hinweisen, auf deine Wertsachen acht zu geben, da ich draussen von einem Taschendieb beklaut wurde. Also, passt auf eure Handies etc. auf, wenn ihr draussen sitzt!

Angenehmes Ambiente trifft hier schmackhafte Speisen. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet, ansprechend angerichtet und sehr lecker. So stellt man sich asiatisches Essen vor! Die Bedienung war nett und sehr flott unterwegs. Wir mussten nicht lange warten auf unsere Getränke und auch nicht auf das Essen. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir gehen wir hier oft zum Mittagessen hin, da es ein tolles Mittagsangebot gibt. Es schmeckt immer wirklich gut und die Portionen machen allemal satt. Fragt auf jeden Fall nach den zusätzlichen Töpfen mit eingelegtem Knoblauch, Sojasauce und Chilipaste (kostenfrei). So kann man jedem Gericht noch einen eigenen kick geben

Tolles Restaurant! Wir wurden von Tom bedient und hatten einen wirklich tollen Service. Das Essen ist frisch und die Karte vielfältig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Very very chill and nice staff on this quit wedensday evening. I ordered the rice dish with squid and it was some of the most delicious squid i ever tasted! I can reccomend it with a nice ginger ale with ice. Follow up with a nice tea after! And you feel complete. Have a good one!

Ich mag vegan/ vegetarische Speisen, weshalb ich das Restaurant zusammen mit Freundinnen besucht habe. Es war Mittagszeit, gut besucht und daher sehr laut gewesen. Das Restaurant ist klein, doch nett dekoriert. Es gab viele Speisen auf der Karte, die ich gerne bestellt hätte und so haben wir 3 unterschiedliche Speisen bestellt. Optisch sahen die Teller gut aus, große Portionen mit Gemüse in frischen, satten Farben. Leider kann ich nur Positives über die Optik sagen. Geschmacklich waren die Speisen ok. - Udon Nudeln: sehr scharf - Tofu mit Gemüse in Whiskey Sauce: etwas "bland". Hier fehlte es an Würze. - Tofu im Tontopf (Kho Tộ): Es war eher eine versalzene Suppe als ein typisches Tontopfgericht Das einzige, was gut geschmeckt hat, war der Mango Tango, der hübsch aussah und eine Mischung aus Mango Lassi und Mango Shake ist.

Ordered unagi maki and minced meat rolls as entry. Maki was awful and pitty def no go for sushi. Rolls were yummy. Got the red curry koko with veggies and shrimp which supposed to be hot n spicy. It was completely opposite sweet and tasteless. Salad addition was very tired and unhappy. I wanted add spice but what service offered was really helpless and not spicy at all. I couldn’t even finish my dish which had zero taste even after salt rain on it. I don’t think I would come back.

The food was good and actually more than sufficient. We were 8 people and they were nice enough to accommodate us but the waiting time was way too much. But overall the food was good

Super Location! Sehr schönes Interieur, mit viel Liebe zum Detail, sehr sauber, offene Küche - also durch große Scheibe schaut man zu, wie mein Essen zubereitet wird, sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, sagenhaft leckeres Essen, die Auswahl ist zwar überschaubar aber sobald man die bestellten Speisen serviert sind...ein Traum!

Schöner Laden mit tollen Ambiente und aufmerksamen Personal. Das Essen war auch sehr gut für ein Vietnamesisches Restaurant. Mittagstisch war gut besucht, und ich war noch nach der üblichen Essenszeit da. Spricht für sich selbst!

Wir waren bisher Fans des Mother's Heart. Heute ging wirklich alles daneben. Eine völlig versalzene, lauwarme Wan-Tan-Suppe. Die angekündigten Garnelen waren nicht dabei, die Einlage sichtlich verbraucht. Der Tintenfisch mit Hackfleisch lieblos lauwarm aufgewärmt und tendenziell geschmacklos. Auf die Frage nach Gewürzen kam die Einheit scharfe Soße. Das kannten wir anders. Der "Chef" wußte mit der Situation nicht umzugehen. Wir machen mal ne Pause und schauen uns das Lokal in einem Vierteljahr wieder an, falls es es dann noch gibt.

Die bestellten Gerichte waren sehr lecker und preislich in Ordnung. Generell würde ich 5 Sterne vergeben nur ist es im Innenraum so kalt gewesen, dass eine wirkliche Wohlfühlatmosphäre nicht aufkam. Schade.

We really enjoyed this place. We actually picked it because we had no cash wand wanted somewhere that would take card payment. Fresh and tasty food and the price was reasonable. Good service, nice environment, you couldn’t ask for anything more really!
