Sounds promising, but it doesn't hold up. The oysters and mussels were wonderful, but the rest was unfortunately disappointing. The ceviche was boring. Very small plates, but high prices. It seems uninspired and random, with no real common thread. The service was too arrogant for me. There was no recommendation or advice about the wine and the plates were carelessly placed in a very strange sequence. If the tipping expectations are not met, you as a guest will be treated condescendingly. That hasn't happened to me in a long time. I expected a lot and unfortunately I'm not sad that I can't do it again here.

Spectacular - the best I've eaten in a long time (especially the ceviche style salmon and the grilled peach). Magical employees and an incredibly harmonious interior design concept - I discovered this wonderful shop a month before it closed - almost feels a bit like being unlucky in love 💔... thank you very much for the wonderful evening

Overpriced store. Service should iron their shirts. Oysters were no longer fresh. Not enough quality for a wanna be fine dining shop. Water was billed for 6.50 without being communicated. No explanations of the food at the table, e.g. We ordered 9 mixed oysters and didn't know which was which. The toilets correspond to area 51 and are not of the quality you would expect. Service not up to par. Conclusion we have Expected more for €300

Very nice place and relaxed, friendly staff. The food leaves you a little at a loss. The quality is good, but it's a bit of a mess: fish sandwiches, tacos, Asian food with XO sauce. You don't even know what to order and in what order. The clear line and vision are missing and a steak for 60 euros appears on the menu next to a fish sandwich for 15. Is this a creative restaurant with star ambitions or more of a place with food truck food? I don't know it.

Unfortunately, the quality doesn't match the price and it lacks sophistication. We tried nine dishes and only liked two of them. The squid tacos were served with partly gray avocado and the blue shrimp seemed very carelessly put together. Unfortunately not worth the price. Only the king pomegranate and the oysters were worth it.

So we went there today without reservation everything was really good, but there were 2 little things that in my opinion could have been solved better. First we had the fried chicken, which was seasoned perfectly and juicy. The only thing was that I think you should put the sauce under the fried chicken since the lower part will always get slightly “soggy” because of the water condensation and with the sauce on top both sides were not really crunchy, while if you would have put it under it the top would have remained crunchy. Second part was that as far as I could hear from the team some people were missing because of sickness or something else. Because of it the waitress was quite stressed which is understandable. She tried to put everything on her self which I don’t think was necessary. Everything was really good and if the team would have been open about I think it would have been better since I think that everybody has an understanding for such circumstances. Just 2 lil thing still was 10/10.

Ambitious, but unfortunately missed. Another hyped Mitte restaurant that doesn't live up to its expectations. A lot of staff, unfortunately chaotic and disorganized, but still friendly. High prices without really being able to justify this with the corresponding quality or at least quantity. It's good that we were there, so we don't have to give in to the longing again.

There were two of us there - the atmosphere is very inviting and the service was okay Unfortunately I have to say that the starters are simply completely overpriced! The food was delicious, that's not an issue here, but I personally think a mini mini ceviche for €30 is just cheeky! Sourdough bread with wild garlic butter for €10... Well, we then ate a falafel for €7 which was very tasty.

overall pretty disappointing. only 1 of the 6 things we ordered was impressive (the raw goldforelle dish, which was both really delicious and didn't feel like a total ripoff). everything else was supposedly to share but portioned for elves. even if it tastes good, seems 2 bites of something just isn't worth 40 eur. sure there are exceptions, but that was the dominant feeling left by most of the dishes. despite it being a 200+ eur meal, we were asked to leave _exactly_ when our 2 hour slot was up even though the restaurant was like 70% empty...! felt weird. i can't remember ever being asked to leave a restaurant when it was mostly empty, anywhere, regardless of how many michelin stars or how popular or expensive. something extremely wrong with the price/performance balance of this place.

Would i go again: no Ambiente: cute hip atmosphere with a niche terrace Food: some dishes are great but many are unbalanced and have obvious mistakes Attitude: don’t accept any critic. E.g. the tarte tatin was bitter. There is little to argue about this. Already the color of the cake showed this. If the chef intended this it should have been advertised as bitter tarte tatin. It was announced as a traditional tarte tatin. After pointing out the bitterness of the tarte we heard from the kitchen “this is a tarte tatin”. A tarte tatin is not bitter it gets bitter if the sugar is burnt too much. The traditional tarte tatin has no bittnerness. The waiter told us it has to be like that. What is not correct. It is hard to understand how unwilling people can be to accept feedback. We paid the cake but did not leave a single euro tip and will never come again!

Fish, mussels, shrimps - all of the best quality. Unfortunately in very acidic sauces and marinades. That's understandable with raw seafood, but it was too much for me. Portions are about the size of tapas, so you can try a lot, but it is also quite expensive. Good wine selection. Not for people who don't like raw seafood.

Unfortunately, yesterday evening did not meet our expectations that we, as fans of Cordobar and Cordos, had for the new concept, WATER. Yesterday's meal together was planned long in advance and was a special occasion for us, but we couldn't really celebrate it properly because the atmosphere was simply not relaxed on several levels (the liquor did the trick at some point;) It started with our bar stool table: bar table with high, narrow stools - without backrest. Anything but comfortable for an evening together over 3.4 hours. More suitable for the fish sandwich snack. After all, we didn't get to do abdominal and lumbar training. When we asked if we could be seated at a table with four normal chairs, we were told that unfortunately this was not possible. Again, we weren't walk-ins but had booked 1 week in advance. Well then we just sat down and ordered a number of cold starters, including the oysters, which are probably part of the permanent offering at WATER. According to the menu it should be a blend of two varieties, Fine de Claire and Gillardeau. When asked which oysters were which, the waitress said bluntly that unfortunately there was only one from Gillardeau. Of course we didn't argue about this. After almost an hour in which we really enjoyed our cold entrées and the wine, and gradually slumped from an attempted inverted exclamation mark posture to that of a question mark, our waitress told us at 9:15 p.m. that we should please return within the next hour You may want to give up all hot dishes within a few minutes because this would be the last call from the kitchen, so to speak, and after that no more orders for hot dishes would be possible. When asked how that could be if we specifically took the second, fixed slot when making the reservation (seatings are at 6:00 p.m. or 8:15 p.m.), but not assuming that the last call would be 60 minutes after arrival is called out from the kitchen. It should also be said that WATER is a fish tapas menu, so you have to order small portions of some of them - but perhaps not all at the same time and, at 9:15 p.m., in stock. That doesn't do the food justice and the price is too demanding. However, the waitress, visibly stressed, whether by us or by the kitchen, said that unfortunately warm dishes had to be ordered now, there was no way around it. Afterwards we could stay seated as long as we wanted, dessert and drinks wouldn't be a problem either. Hmmm, well, we followed the kitchen's strange shift schedule and promptly ordered everything we thought we wanted to eat. It was also very tasty, although a second helping of one or two dishes would have been welcome... But we knew the ship had left. And finally we had dessert and the schnapps menu brought to us. When it came to schnapps, there was actually no immediate time or quantity ration, and even - upon polite request - one on the house. Last but not least, the bill, which came to just under €500 including tip. Not a snack level for 3 people, not even on Sylt. But we didn't come with such expectations. Unfortunately it was like this: somewhere between snack bar and fine dining.

It’s rare to have a restaurant nail food, service, AND atmosphere. Inswasser does that, and more. Fresh seafood served raw and cooked in innovative combinations, an amazing wine list, and near-perfect service. It’s not cheap, but certainly worth the experience.

I've always had a great time here - in the Cordo Bar, in the Cordo🌟🌟 and now in the Cordo Seafood Bar. The raw appetizers are world class. The desserts - bam! And of course you also have to try the main dishes such as mussels with sausage salad or pike perch white sausage. Wines / cocktails are of course great 🫶

Had high expectations given strong predecessors that were in the same location. Unfortunately didn't live up to it. Dishes were funky but didn't quite make sense yet. E.g. coconut icecream with tamarind fish sauce: sorry, but no. The fishy Weisswurst also didn't make a lot of sense. We didn't try the raw dishes, maybe those would have been better. Good service. Will come back and try again in a few months.

I love nothing more than a seafood bar, and this new joint in Berlin absolutely delivers. Food is absurdly fresh, the staff are young and really enjoy describing what you can expect - and there's a nice simple list of reasonably priced wines to boot. I bookended my Berlinale with visits to Wasser - and can't wait to come back and do it all again.

Simply fantastic! I have rarely eaten such good fish! The champagne sorbet was the best dessert I've had in a long time. Great, warm service. I will come back! The only thing I didn't like was that the starters and main courses came very quickly one after the other - a little breather would have been good to be able to feel and taste the dishes.

*EDIT to reply to the restaurant: My average ratings on Google are 4*+ so yes, I rarely give lower ratings. If you can't take feedback, that is fine (we still tipped generously), but I am always very fair in my reviews (check my history). And I know what I am talking about, because I have a gastronomy background myself, so no...your menu is NOT clear, your waitress told us it is a sharing concept and I don't think your prices are justified, so take the feedback or don't, but having a comeback like this for constructive feedback is ridiculous. * I was a big fan of the two previous concepts, Cordobar and the Michelin-starred Cordo before, so I was excited to try out the new concept Wasser - especially since Berlin can do with more great seafood restaurants. Unfortunately, this place has some way to go. The concept is sharing, so if you charge 10 € (!!!) for sourdough bread it should be more than 3 slices and most importantly an even number to share. The Labskaus butter was great though. The menu is very confusing split into raw, savoury and guilty pleasures. The portion sizes are all over the place. The waiter was not able to tell us how many "sharing" plates we'd need. We ended up with a bill of over 100€ and having to go to another restaurant to not be hungry. Willing to give this another try due to the pedigree but the current concept is all over the place, the service erratic and the pricing way too high for what it is.

I think the staff here is really wonderful and the food was nice but hopefully management/owner comes to realize their toilet doors are not funny nor "gender neutral" as they like to claim. It's a common s3xist joke and already disputed in places before, including Germany. I don't think I will come back until they realize their food can't overcome perpetuating tasteless stereotypes and they change the toilet signs. I also went here awhile ago and would love to hear if they've moved past these awful "jokes". The staff seemed to understand this was nonsense but can't do anything about poor management choices.

This is my favorite restaurant on the planet. From the ambience to the extremely fun and excited staff and, most importantly, the EXQUISITE food. Every time that I have come to this place I have a mind blowing experience. The cuisine is adventurous yet grounded, vibrant, colorful and bursting with flavor, and incredibly fun. Come HUNGRY and definitely make sure you ask your server to pair wine for you. The wine list is stellar, unpretentious and JUICY! There are so many places with Michelin stars that try to be laid back, cool and vibey. Cordo has broken the mold. It succeeds in being cool, fun and absolutely delectable at the same time. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We were fortunate enough to snag a Thursday night reservation for Cordo, and it was the highlight of our trip to Berlin. The atmosphere is exceptionally cozy. We were greeted by a warm and welcoming staff. The wine list is a Natural wine lovers dream, with massive selection of unique picks and a friendly staff to help guide you. Wine pairings were also available to go with the abundant tasting menu. Each dish takes you somewhere new and was well worth the $ per person. We particularly loved the desserts. I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Ein wunderbarer Abend! Wir sind den ganzen Abend im Innenhof gesessen, was bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen genau richtig war. Wir haben beide Menüs genommen, wobei uns der Gartenrundgang im Gesamten noch mehr überzeugt hat. Besonders in Erinnerung bleiben das Schmortöpfchen mit Mais und Erdbeermarmelade und die Dessert-Version von Tom Ca Gai. Einfach sensationell! Die Portionsgrößen und Abstände zwischen den Gängen waren perfekt. Hatten wir noch nie so erlebt, dass es weder zu wenig noch viel zu viel ist. Oft ist es so, dass die Vorspeisen sehr leicht und klein sind und die Hauptspeisenportionen zu groß und sehr schwer. Das war hier gar nicht so. Wir waren zum Schluss angenehm satt, obwohl ein sehr heißer Tag war. Die Weinkarte ist sehr gut. Das Glas Rotwein, das wir uns zum Hauptgang empfehlen haben lassen, war genau richtig. Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

The dinner was really delicious. The only thing for me that could be better is that between some dishes we waited more than 30mins and it was surprising considering 1 dish was bread and butter and next came 30mins later. Other than that all was great. Initial dishes are not extraordinary but it gets better and better by dish; the final 3 being the best ones that left me with a really good impression.

It was a strange night… On one hand the courses and menu was great, very precise, with finesse, perfect associations of the products and tastes. Some of the courses were inventive and surprisingly good as the ice creams with Thai sauce or the trout with the taste of habanero without the hot feeling and the extraordinary dessert Tom Kha Gai ! We wanted more surprises like those ! On the other hand : you start on the patio then you have to came back inside… killing your moment, we found fish scales and one fish bone in our tiny Perch fish not acceptable in such a restaurant and no excuse from the team, why extra buttered French roll and madeleine at the final ?, there are no story telling about the products or producers/farmers but the restaurant got a green star Michelin (what’s the point ?), the restaurant decoration is a bit old school and you don’t see the chefs or the cuisine, the service is efficient but like robots not friendly at all… Definitely not worth a Michelin star and very overpriced (it’s the price of a two star Michelin in France). So we were deceived, certainly a bad day for the team but for us too.

Amazing place! I don’t remember, where or how I found it, but it doesn’t matter: I can fully recommend it! Cordo offers two different menus, both were really good. Excellent quality, excellent flavors, well use of spices and seasoning. Amazing. I particularly liked the „greeting to Hamburg“ as there was a small cinnamon roll („Franzbrötchen“) as part of the dessert. Wine pairing is an excellent idea here. You will get great wines, well matching the food, always with a short explanation by the waitress or waiter. But that’s only one positive aspect - the service is just perfect: very attentive, very friendly, with a great sense of humor. If you’re there, take your time to admire the unique and artful decorations in the rooms. Very cool designs - some of them will make you laugh. Don’t forget: “Restalkohol is …”. My recommendation: If you can, arrive early in order to have the option to start your experience in the patio, it’s worth it. More than that, the espresso afterwards was very good. Oh, and the chocolate truffle they gave us „to go“ were such a nice, tasteful, and delicious idea. So, I guess, we will come back soon. Thank you, Team Cordo!

Menu:’Hafenrundfahrt’ : interessant, innovativ, lecker, ausser das ‘Taco’ welches einfach zu scharf war um es geschmacklich analysieren zu können, und das Brioche mit Fischfond, welcher besser durch einen gesalzenen Caramel ersetzt gewesen wäre.. Service: der Empfang war nett und freundlich, mit Sitzzuweisung im Innenhof/Garten. Dass man vor dem Hauptgericht gebeten wird den Tisch ins Innnere zu wechseln, war akzeptabel, dass der Innenraum aber eher einer Punky-Funky-Bar mit zu lauter Musik entsprach, gab dem Tischwechsel einen schlechten Beigeschmack Dass dann noch das Personal sich an der Theke traf und anstatt sich um die Kunden und villeicht um eine nette Verabschiedung zu künmeren lieber rumalberte und mit sich selbst beschäftigt war, hinterliess einen negativen Eindruck

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend im Cordo. Das vegetarische Menü war fantastisch und die Getränkebegleitung ebenso ausgezeichnet. Wir waren begeistert von der Perfektion und Harmonie. Die einzelnen Gänge waren sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Fast jeder Gang bot uns intensive, geschmackliche Höhepunkte. Einen besonderen Eindruck hat bei uns die vielseitige und kreative unalkoholische Getränkeauswahl hinterlassen, die immer perfekt zum Essen passte. Der Service war sehr angenehm: sympathisch, ungezwungen, professionell. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

We ordered both vegetarian and omnivore set menus to compare. Other than couple dishes with bacon, I prefer the vegetarian menu more. The flavors were robust and satisfying. Some of my favorite is the beurre blanc ice cream/asparagus broth, oyster mushroom/egg custard and sunchoke/black garlic crisps. We had the non alcoholic pairing which is fun and delicious at times. It’s a great experience. The pace between courses are uneven. Sometimes the flow was great but sometimes it felt like eternity before the next dish shows up. We had 7:30 reservation and informed our waiter that we need to leave around 9:50 for our next engagement. We were rushing the service in the end and wolfing down the desserts but still couldn’t get out until 10:10. So plan accordingly and leave ample time to enjoy your dinner leisurely.

We ordered the harbor tour with wine pairing. It was an extraordinary journey through the oceans of exciting tastes. The compositions were fantastic and every course was special in perfect harmony with the different wines. Service was excellent as well as the ambiente including the bathrooms. Highly recommended!

We visited Cordo in December and it was one of my favourite meals for the year. Every single course was very delicious and interesting, service impeccable and if I am sad about one thing that is that I was too full by the end in order to try the Franzbroetchen which came as a finale. Also one of the best non-alcoholic drink pairings I have had. Will definitely be going back!

Wir hatten das Menu ‚Hafenrundfahrt‘ und es strotzte nur so von eigenen, ausgewogenen aber niemals langweiligen Aromen. Turning the Cordo from a wine bar to an upscale dining place was tricky but now it works very well under a new and fully engaged team. Das CORDO ist immer einen Besuch wert. Trotz der starken Konkurrenz in Berlin, sticht das Restaurant mit seinem erstklassigen Essen, dem persönlichen wie freundlichen Service und vor allem seinen bewusst positiv gemeinten "lässigen Charme" heraus. Zwischen dänischen Designklassikern und moderner Kunst entfaltet sich ein angenehmes Ambiente, das zum Verweilen einlädt. Was Yannic Stockhausen und sein Küchenteam hier dann für die Gäste kreieren, hat mindestens den Stern verdient, den das Restaurant bereits hält. Die Gänge sind kreativ, ohne zu viel zu wollen oder zu überfrachten. Insbesondere auch die vegetarische Menüfolge und die einzelnen Gänge sind eine absolute Empfehlung. Wo es teils an Witz und Ideenreichtum in anderen Restaurants der Sterneklasse mangelt, begeistert das CORDO hier mit einer Alternative, die so selten zu finden ist. Darüber hinaus darf man sich über eine hervorragend abgestimmte Wein- wie alkoholfreie Begleitung freuen. Die ehemalige Weinbar weiß hier genauso zu überzeugen, wie mit dem Essen. Insgesamt eine absolute Empfehlung - auch, weil das Franzbrötchen als Teil der Petit Four zum Kaffee, ein Stück Hamburg nach Berlin bringt, das selbst Hamburg so bisweilen kaum zu bieten hat.

The ‘garden tour’ menu was wonderful, just like the service and the overall atmosphere. Nice music in the background. So many culinary highlights: brioche with mushroom topping, kumpir butter, variations of kale, the Franzbrötchen. But best of all: the dessert! The soft potato cake base, the richness of the cream, the crunch on the top and finished with a refreshing - slightly sour - apple sorbet. 💚 No chocolate needed to make an amazing dessert 👍

Wir waren estmalig dort und empfanden das Ambiente als wenig komfortabel. Unruhig und laut ging es zu, relativ eng die Platzierungen. Die Speisen war ok jedochschine hier mehr der kreative gedanke alsdie reale Umsetzung zu dominieren Der service ok aber nicht souverän auf Sterneniveau. Insgeamt war alles in Ordnung aber mehr eben nicht. Preislich recht gehoben.

It's overpriced for what you get... Didn't think it's up to it. Some dishes had the same base flavour! This is not acceptable in a tasting menu. Some dishes were low in temperature, having prefer them hotter. Undercooked duck, couldn't eat it...it was just raw. A dish had a badly designed cucumber ice cream on top of it...that didn't work, even for the experience! Not coming back, sorry. I like every kind of restaurant, not only expensive ones. But sometimes I like to try a Michelin when I can... Didn't quite understand why this place has a star. The only thing I can say about Cordo is that it is fancy and expensive.

Das CORDO ist ein modernes gemütliches Restaurant mit einem spannenden Konzept,dass absolut zu Recht einen Michelin Stern erhalten hat. Die Gänge waren durchweg alle von sehr hoher Qualität und jeder für sich wirklich spannend. Ein Gang mit einer Pilzcreme und Wagyu Tartar war geschmacklich eines der besten Gerichte die ich in meinem ganzen Leben essen durfte. Das Restaurant ist stilvoll und ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Service war sehr freundlich und professionell, allerdings hatten wir manchmal das Gefühl, dass es etwas kühl und unpersönlich war. Das kann Geschmackssache sein, wir persönlich hätten uns mit einem etwas lockereren Auftreten noch ein wenig wohler gefühlt. Wir hatten die Weinbegleitung zu allen Gängen. Diese hat gut zu den einzelnen Gerichten gepasst und man hatte auch wirklich interessante Weine (z.B. einen Sake). Da wir in der letzten Woche bevor es ein neues Menü gab dort waren, gab es zu min. einem Gang leider nicht mehr den ursprünglich ausgewählten Wein. Leider hat man gemerkt, dass hier etwas anderes gedacht war, die Ersatzweine haben nicht so gut gepasst wie der Rest. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Abend mit einem wirklich tollen kulinarischen Erlebnis.

Anspruch und Wirklichkeit tanzen hier leider mit zu viel Abstand. Service ok, einzelne Gänge z.T. sehr gut aber im Fluss des Abends kein Zusammenhang zu erkennen - so er gewollt wäre. Ort selbst fehlt es an Liebe in der Ausstattung und schlicht auf allen Ebenen im Detail. In der Preisklasse muss es halt überall ein Schritt mehr sein. Preis/Leistung - im Vergleich zur starken Konkurrenz in der Stadt - in keinem Verhältnis. Trotz Stern in Summe keine Empfehlung.

Die Begrüßung ist Berlin Mitte like sehr entspannt, freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Gast steht hier im Mittelpunkt und das ist auch gut so. Das Restaurant ist liebevoll in einem modernen Mix eingerichtet und man sitzt auf bequemen Wishborne Stühlen von Carl Hansen. Es gibt ein sehr spannendes und geschmacklich wirklich fantastisches Menu , die Hafenrundfahrt, das auch in einer vegetarischen Variation als Gartenrundgang gewählt werden kann, Diese landete dann bei uns auf dem Teller. Chapeau ! Sehr großes Kino. Jeder Gang war ein herausragender Genuss. Die Weinauswahl ist klein und sehr fein, die Menubegleitung perfekt abgestimmt. Es gibt auch einen nichtalkoholische Begleitung, die wir uns allerdings für das nächste Mal aufgehoben haben. Preislich kann man bei dem Niveau nicht meckern, wir bezahlten rund 200€ pro Person. Für den Spass und Genuss wirklich sehr angemessen wenn nicht günstig. Unbedingt hingehen !

Disappointed.... I have been there several times since it opened as a restaurant (before that, it was Cordo-bar = Cordoba :) ) and I was always amazed with its great dishes. This is the first time to visit since the pandemic, and it still serves wonderful dishes, but this time, it's seasoning was often overpowering good ingredients. And it doesn't justify 170 euro or so (it serves only course menu). Wine is fine but not something interesting. And also, some staff service was a bit overwhelmed. I gave feedback hoping it is passed to chef, so no need to get excited. Overall experience was not as good as before. I hope things would get better for Cordo.

Restaurante de una estrella Michelin en el centro de Berlin. Los sabores y la presentación de los platos eran correctos, el servicio agradable. Sin embargo no hubo nada que nos sorprendiera mucho ni dijéramos “guau” (comparando con otros restaurantes con una estrella Michelin a los que hemos ido la relación calidad precio no es muy buena). Teniendo en cuenta todo lo anterior, la puntuación real sería 3,5. El maridaje no nos gustó, no lo recomendamos en absoluto.

UPDATE 29.04.2022 Super Menü mit spannenden Ideen und einer tollen Weinbegleitung. Danke für den tollen Abend und den guten Service ------- Habe das Cordo diverse Male im Rahmen von "Cordo at Home" ausprobiert und war im Juli (23.07.2021) auch endlich mal im Restaurant. Tolle Location, entspanntes Team und wirklich gute Küche. Absolut ein Besuch wert um moderne Küche zu erleben und zu schmecken. Absolutes Highlight war tatsächlich das Dessert (Fichte - Nougat - Blumenkolh) - Hier waren alle Komponenten stimmig und absolut sinnvoll. An anderen Stellen etwas zu verspielt (weniger ist mehr)... Aber tolles Restaurant wo Hospitality groß geschrieben wird !

After reading some negative reviews due to the change in ownership, we were initially unsettled. However, completely baseless. Absolutely friendly service, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Also worth highlighting is the very good price-performance ratio of the surprise menu as well as the sufficiently large portions! The portions were just as big as the normal main courses a la carte. We like to eat very well and we all agreed that we hadn't eaten so well in a long time. The only small suggestion for improvement: my main course (Chickenwomanizer) arrived a little lukewarm. If necessary, preheat the plate more. But otherwise excellent. The quality of the food, the location and especially the service are great.

The food was very impressive, and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire set menu. I also really appreciated the ambience and design of the space—it was lively without feeling overcrowded, and the blend of chatter and music created a pleasant background for our dinner. However, I’d like to provide some feedback on the service, which felt quite uneven. Despite noting my date’s shellfish allergy, the staff repeatedly offered us oysters and later poured oyster sauce over a dish that could have otherwise been enjoyed without worrying about the allergen. Additionally, a glass of wine that wasn’t finished was taken away too soon, and the pacing between dishes was sometimes too long, which disrupted the overall flow of the experience. That said, we absolutely loved the food and still recommend visiting the restaurant. We hope the service improves so Hallmann und Klee can shine even brighter.
