The food was as usual at KFC - good standard, as you would expect from system catering. The taste is absolutely fine, there’s nothing to complain about.
As for the waiting time: Even though it wasn't busy, it took a while for the order to be ready. It didn't bother me personally because my Tesla was charging right at the station in front of the door - so it was a good time.
What was a bit irritating, however, was that the waitress called up numbers other than those shown on the display as “ready for collection”. When I asked, I was treated quite rudely - a little more customer friendliness would have been desirable.
Overall ok, but there is room for improvement in terms of service.
Many parking spaces are easily accessible. There are also charging stations for electric vehicles.
For us it was a stopover on our hike around Oberstdorf and Obermaiselstein. Usual McDonald's quality. Quick and easy.
There wasn't much going on this Sunday. Well strengthened and warmed up, we continued our hike after the visit.
Were back today after a long time!
Food was cold and sat on the counter for a long time. Tables and floor very dirty! Very loud and screaming children. Sorry, I have absolutely nothing against children!
When we ordered the iced tea was watery and the Cola Zero had sugar. When we complained on the phone we were threatened with a report. My girlfriend has problems with her blood sugar...
This McDonald's is unfortunately a disaster. There are several problems there:
- Cleanliness
The tables and floor are 90% completely dirty. They apparently don't think it's necessary to wipe down the tables and pick up food from the floor. I don't even want to choose the restroom there.
- Service
Table service is regularly canceled there. Then you have to go from the table to the counter, and in our case, that was 100% free, because the food wasn't ready despite calling your number. With luck, you'll get it brought to you. If you complain, you're first asked if you're sure, or it's denied or argued.
The highlight was a burger; ordered without cheese, but of course, it had cheese on it 😂👍
When I returned it and complained, they just said, "It's not that bad." After a discussion, they took it back and brought a "new" burger. It wasn't exactly new, but... which brings me to the next point:
- Hygiene
I received the same burger back, only someone had scraped off the cheese. And I'm sure of it, because the heavily smeared packaging made it easy to recognize. There were still cheese residues on it.
I didn't dare eat it, as I neither knew how the cheese was removed (picked off with bare fingers?) nor had any confidence that other "additives" hadn't ended up on it.
In the evening, things seem to be very strange at this McDonald's. The staff would rather stand outside in huge groups with friends or family than work. This group of people also doesn't seem to be able to admit to making mistakes, and they certainly don't want to hear anything about regulations and hygiene standards.
To be honest, I'd rather go without my soul food from McDonald's for the time being... What a shame.
We ordered a takeaway there because we had to go to another city right away. The first two Happy Meals were absolutely right, but there was a problem with the third one: the sauce was wrong (it was supposed to be curry, but they put sour cream instead, which was not in the order at all), there was no drink at all (although it was supposed to be a vanilla milkshake). It was very unpleasant, because the money was paid, and the order was not only wrong, but also not complete.
McDonald's support contacted me and sent me a coupon for the Happy Meal that had a problem. Pleasantly surprised!
