The worst and slowest service we've ever experienced. They sold us a small portion of fries as a large one. When we immediately asked, they said no, it was the large portion. I don't want to say any more. Never again.

Outrageously cheap, prices have finally risen, however a hot brownie for under 5 euros is still too little when you consider everything that goes into it and that it's handed to you in the car.

The first few times we went to the restaurant, the service was halfway decent... But today, when we took the food home, we saw that the fries were all scattered in the bag and one of our burgers was missing! Not recommended! You're better off going to McDonald's!!! 😡😡😡

Honestly, the food at this Burger King is absolute trash. The Whopper and Tortilla Kebab Style were absolutely terrible, bland, clearly not fresh ingredients, and they definitely skimped on something. But that's not all. Their grapefruit lemonade—the glass was 60% filled with ice, and it wasn't even crushed, just solid chunks of ice. There was barely 200ml of lemonade. Is this even normal? Honestly, it's shameful to be so petty. 🤦‍♂️

People just can't seem to manage to serve cold or lukewarm food every now and then!

I'd give it no stars at all if I could!!!! A truly awful place. Three burgers, all three stale. Three orders of fries, all three bags cold and disgusting. Chilli cheese nuggets, cold and undercooked. Nuggets dried out and disgusting. Everything was disgusting.

On October 12, 2025, at around 6:15 PM, I ordered two meals and two additional burgers at the drive-thru. At home, two of the five burgers worth approximately €7 were missing. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident; in my experience, this happens frequently here. Given how often it happens, it no longer seems like a coincidence to me. It's simply annoying when you don't get a complete order for your money. At these prices, you should be able to rely on your order being served correctly. I hope management responds and improves their processes.

I was very satisfied with my visit. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fresh, and ordering was quick – I'd definitely go back!

The food was okay, as you'd expect from a Burger King. But having to wait 30 minutes for your food, even though it wasn't really busy...that's not fast food anymore.

Ordered at 4:35 p.m. ... It's now 5:05 p.m. and I'm still sitting here waiting for my order to be better. This is sweet, unlike fast food! Every order from the drive-thru comes to the counter because they're missing burgers and/or fries. Sometimes the orders are completely wrong! Unbelievable... everyone is completely overwhelmed. The "supervisor" also seems to have no clue.

The waiting times at the car counter are catastrophic. Sometimes you stand there for 10 to 15 minutes before the next car comes along.

Incompetent employees / too long waiting time about 40 minutes for order despite fewer customers

Absolutely incompetent and unfriendly staff. After entering my order three times and repeatedly making errors, they couldn't and wouldn't help us.

The food is delicious, but it often takes a long time to be ready. The staff are always very friendly, though. But why is the toy always sold out? It's really annoying.

Schmeckt und haben viele Sparaktionen. Auch abseits der App in der lokalen Zeitung. Allerdings ist recht häufig die Klimaanlage zu kalt eingestellt.

We waited about 40 minutes in the drive-thru, even though there were only 2-3 cars ahead of us. Our order was incomplete and already cold. The only thing that was very friendly was the lady at the counter.

Today at 2:20, we arrived at the drive-thru. First, we waited five minutes until we were called to order. Then, when we got to the second window, there were seven people standing there, without cars. They were very rude and provoked us. The window was open, and the staff didn't respond. At 2:47, we got our order, but since we were provoked, we didn't check. When we got home, the car was missing. Terrible experience, terrible staff. Oh yes, there were two or three other cars behind us that had waited just as long as us.

Nice restaurant with the usual highlights

It took a bit longer for the food to be ready. During our visit, the staff were relatively young, which seemed a bit overwhelmed. The return carts were all full and weren't emptied until the store manager (from what I thought) arrived. Otherwise, just Burger King food.

We've been here for a really long time, so we can't just describe a snapshot, but in good conscience, a kind of permanent state. The food is sometimes warmer, sometimes less, and/or good; sometimes the soft drinks are carbonated, sometimes they aren't. But what really annoys me as a mother these days is my 4-year-old's meltdowns because the toys from the King Jr. menu are almost always sold out. Surely this can be managed with timely reordering and forward planning? I really can't understand it.

You can hardly go wrong with the menus in a fast-food restaurant... everything was fresh and okay... but the very young colleagues there were a bit overwhelmed, and there was no senior, experienced supervisor/shift manager... The fact that I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a reordered Coke was completely unacceptable in my opinion...

The food was very tasty, although the cheese sauce could have been taken out of the fridge earlier. We also had really friendly service, and they even asked us if we wanted to pick up the ice cream after dinner. Clever thinking!

Super nice and friendly staff. We were there today (August 19, 2025, around 6 p.m.) and the food was, as usual, good, fresh, and hot. The staff behind the counter (2 women, 1 man—I think it was the store manager because he was dressed differently) were super nice and attentive. I think this branch is the best so far. Keep it up 🤗

I was just there with friends around 11:00 a.m. and wanted something to eat. But we were ignored and didn't get anything else. The door was even locked, and we had to ask how to get out. That was absolutely the worst.

Thank you, dear Burger King team, for encouraging me to cook for myself! I just paid 23 euros for two burgers, nuggets, and a Coke! Twenty-three, I still can't believe it. That's just outrageous. Never again Burger King.

KING REMAINS KING, until the very last second. I was very surprised and in a positive mood; my orders are actually accepted every time just before closing time. That one or two items are sometimes missing is immediately forgiven for me – and the compensation – when contacted = compensation for the damages without any ifs or buts.

Hey, just wanted to quickly share how disappointing our Burger King trip in Dorsten was 😞. We waited over half an hour for our food, and then the Coke and Fanta were completely warm 🥤🔥. The staff and management seemed completely confused 😕. When the food finally arrived, the ice cream had melted, the fries were cold, and the burger was absolutely disgusting 🍔🤢. Plus, the floor was absolutely filthy 😖. Honestly, I would definitely never recommend this Burger King again. The reviews there don't match what we experienced at all! 👎 #notrecommendable

Very rude customer service. I didn't realize right away they were calling my number since I do not speak German. Seemed like the end of the world and the chubby woman on the counter was yelling to me so that everyone in the restaurant was staring. Totally not professional and not how you treat customers.

The staff are great. The food is what you'd expect when visiting such an establishment. Only the manager seems to be a shady character. He wouldn't let us open the parasol. Even though the sun was shining. What can I say? If you want a delicious meal, you have to accept sunburn and, as a result, skin cancer. Thanks to the bro who tried.

Compared to other nearby branches, this one in Dorsten is worlds ahead. The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. After the renovation, it's also very cozy. The food is good. So far, all special order changes have been implemented. 👍

This is by far the dirtiest place with the most unmotivated and incompetent staff I've ever seen. And according to other reviews, this isn't a snapshot in time, but a permanent condition. I'd replace the restaurant manager.

The food was okay and warm, and served fairly quickly. The staff was nice. That was about it, unfortunately. Unfortunately, the King Jr. Meal doesn't come with any packaging, and the current toy wasn't there either. There were two Batman figures to choose from, which is a shame for girls. Furthermore, every table was smeared and dirty, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The chocolate milkshake was more of a milkshake that was next to chocolate, but nothing more. The tray carts were also overflowing, so we left the trays behind. It wasn't a quick snapshot; we were there with two children and two adults, so we were there longer.

We ate there on a Wednesday afternoon. It was empty; there were three other people sitting there with us. The cash register was also empty; two employees were standing behind the counter, chatting. The tables were dirty, and both carts were full of empty trays. Overall, the restaurant made a more than desolate impression. The food was okay. The chocolate milkshake I got at the end and drank in the car only tasted of milk. When I opened the cup, I saw that there was no chocolate in it at all.

Well.....it's a BurgerKing and you kind of know what to expect for your palate. What puts you off about this store is the lack of cleanliness. We looked for a clean table and couldn't find one. The other guests felt the same way. Too bad. There were five young employees behind the counter. Why doesn't one of the employees take a cloth with a little cleaner and clean the tables and pick up the cloths, chips, etc. that are lying around there? Something like that has to be seen. Really disgusting. The last visit for us for now.

Rarely crowded, staff are quick and the food is as you would expect from a fast food restaurant.

There is a service deduction because you no longer respond to customer requests. Instead of fried onions I wanted fresh onions on my burger, unfortunately this wasn't possible (this used to be possible) otherwise burgers are freshly prepared, nothing is lying around waiting to be ordered. Staff was still friendly.

Modern, well-maintained shop. We were there on Saturday lunchtime and received our food very quickly. It was warm and delicious. Highly recommended.

I once ate a burger and when I ate it I thought the sauce tasted strange. Afterwards I vomited all night long because the sauce was spoiled. Never been there again since then.

Burger King hat eine sehr große Auswahl an leckeren Hamburgern und fast food. Das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis ist gut und das Personal ist freundlich. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil wir bei ungefähr jeder 3. größeren Bestellung am Drive in Schalter falsche bzw. Fehlende Artikel haben.

We just wanted to get a little midnight snack when we were disappointed to discover that it had already been closed at 11:55 p.m. We just walked into the parking lot when we could see the employee locking the door. I find it very sad that this restaurant doesn't even stick to the opening times, I'll probably go to the competition in the future.

Food is ok, it's just Burger King and not a restaurant. The employees are friendly, but I don't feel like they're in a good mood most of the time and it's just very loud inside.

The orders are taking far too long

Unfortunately it was very dirty when we visited. Tables smeared, garbage trucks overflowing. There was probably a lack of staff.

Cleanliness and order should be the basic principle, but obviously not here.

Went to the local restaurant today...at first it was extremely difficult to find a table, it was empty, but every table was really dirty, after a while a woman came and cleaned the tables, the bucket of water looked like it had been used for 3 World War II tanks cleaned from the outside. After we received our food, which was complete and relatively quick, around 4 people had severe stomach pains about 2.30 hours later after eating it...perhaps you should inform the branch manager or even the health department.

Very nice and modern Burger King. We come here especially from Marl and order take away. The food is still warm at home (we also have a warming box). The quality is always good. Ordering at order terminals is quick and easy. Employees are all very nice!

I thought it was great. I actually never go to Burger King. However, my godchild wanted it. I have to say that the employees were super friendly and I haven't experienced such nice service in a long time. McDonald’s can really learn something from this. MEGA, keep it up!!!👏🏻

The “Maximilian” who was there at the checkout on Saturday around 3 p.m. was very helpful and offered our small children the Burger King crowns, really a very nice employee. Unfortunately the interior was very dirty and the food was a bit cold.

By far the best Burger King restaurants I know Staff friendly, food freshly warm and properly prepared even if you request something special. If something doesn't go right, there has always been immediate help.

Had a nice meal with the grandchildren when we returned from Moviepark Germany. With a children's menu, the children were allowed to choose their own toys. The children's menu also included a soft ice cream. I thought the disadvantage was that you got the ice cream right away. It would have been better to include something like a credit slip so that they could pick up their ice cream after dinner.

Unfortunately, the new Whopper is not available in Dorsten! Grill aroma? Nope. Extra charge for tomatoes? A disc that should also be standard. Ketchup is totally missing. Buns were also from yesterday. Yes, you are slipping more and more to Donald's level.

For a fast food chain, the preparation of the food or the time it is "handed over" takes quite a long time - but that doesn't just apply to this BK restaurant. Therefore not all dishes are still warm. Unfortunately, the tables were not clean and the tray return points were overcrowded.

Burger King now, my way. Tastes better than McDonald's, yes good except for the chicken nuggets, which are more...

2024: I made the same mistake and got something to take away. Soft cold food, baah. It's enough 🤮 Alt:Dorstener Burger King doesn't deserve the name of a fast food restaurant. Whether at lunchtime or around 10 p.m., it takes an incredibly long time and the food is like it just happened again: COLD😡 No thanks, wasted money 💰 on a few limp burgers and fries 🍟.
