Completely overwhelmed. You can only order at the terminal, and one out of four doesn't work.

A very unfriendly young man with curly hair. He refused to take my order at the cash register, only at the vending machine, even though the store was empty.

The food was pretty good so far. Unfortunately, the wrap was completely dry in places. It would have been better if the sauce was spread over the entire wrap instead of just in one spot.

The staff was overwhelmed and extremely poorly organized. Long wait times, missing items from orders, full clearing carts, and dirty tables and restrooms made this one of the worst McDonald's we've ever visited.

Now I know why I don't like going to McDonald's. The fries are cold and all the tables are filthy. The waitress cleaned our tables after we told her to. But no other tables were wiped down. They should be inspected. Truly disgusting. Regards, I.C.

We had a lovely stop at McCafé. The man there was very nice to us and the dog. The coffee is delicious.

Not for the elderly. Ordering is only possible via computer. We couldn't manage at all. No help in sight. The bottom line: nothing to eat or drink. :-(

The most uncoordinated McDonald's I've ever experienced. The food sits on the counter for a really long time, piling up, and an order is ready every five minutes. We waited almost 30 minutes for the food to be served. A woman from the McDonald's team spent the entire time shouting and arguing with the other employees. 2 stars due to the incomplete order. Slow food from McDonald's...

The food was okay in the end, but I had to wait far too long. After about 15 minutes, I politely reminded them of my order, and then, after another 15 minutes of waiting, I demanded my money back. This was ignored; instead, they started preparing my order. No apology, no refund, and the wrong sauce for the nuggets, so I had to contact the unfriendly staff again.

I highly recommend the Lembeck/Dorsten truck stop on the A31! The Meckes is a great place to stop for a break!

Very long waiting times, more than 40 minutes... that's not normal. If you're serving fast food, you have to be served quickly. That means more staff are urgently needed, especially on Sundays when it's a school holiday.

Clean customer service area, clean restrooms. There's a separate family area, which is also pretty cool. The food came quickly and was hot. The staff was especially friendly.

I was there once, and it was so busy and crowded. We just wanted to quickly go to McKinsey's to get ice cream in the evening, but the wait was long, which was unusual for ice cream. The ice cream was delicious, as always.

We were shocked by this McDonald's. The staff was severely understaffed and overwhelmed. There were no clean tables. We wiped ours ourselves. There were stacks of tablets at the tray return.

This branch should revisit the word "fast" in the word "fast food." It wasn't very busy; there were three cars ahead of me at the drive-thru. We waited an unbelievable 40 minutes for our food at the McDrive. The shift staff were completely overwhelmed. When we got to the counter, we watched the employees creeping through the area in slow motion. It was unbelievably bad.

It was busy. We waited more than 30 minutes for two junior bags and two milkshakes. The kids' fries were unfortunately only lukewarm when they arrived. All the free tables were dirty, and when the trays were returned, the trash piled up so high that the table next to the tray was also full of trays and trash. The soap in the men's restroom was empty and the hand dryer was dirty. There was one toilet paper roll in the women's restroom, and there were no towels in the accessible restroom. I don't even want to know what the mess in the kitchen looked like.

Restrooms weren't maintained, and staff couldn't keep up with cleaning even though it was relatively quiet. The Sprite mix wasn't right and tasted like water.

Here are a few key points: Cold food, burgers all mixed up, wait time about 15 minutes, tables and chairs greasier than a deep fryer, toilets worse than Bahnhof Zoo... endless chaos and dirt, the staff could use some deodorant.

Conveniently located near the highway. Nice service, unfortunately a bit slow. Convenient opening hours. I ordered lattice fries, but they were out of them. Then I ordered curly fries, and the curly fries had a lattice fries inside them. How can that be? Is the McDonald's in Rhade or Lembeck?

I've rarely seen such a dirty McDonald's restaurant. It was a Sunday evening (8:30 p.m.) and the place was about half full. Aside from some guests simply leaving their trays, they weren't cleared either. There are fries and empty ketchup/mayo packets all over the floor. I wanted to order something here today, July 26, 2025. The man behind the counter said I couldn't order anything verbally anymore because there was a new law at MC. If that's true, that's it for me. And friendliness doesn't work!

The food was terrible, and the staff was too. I ordered a burger without pickles, and they gave me one with pickles. That can happen. They'll ask for a different burger, only to remove the pickles and give them back, but all the pickle flavor was still there.

One of the dirtiest McDonald's ever. It really wasn't busy, but the tables and floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days.

My friend's lap was accidentally spilled by the staff while being served. It can happen. What's even worse is how it was handled: She wasn't offered anything to clean up, the table wasn't cleaned, the food tray, which also got spilled with Coke, was replaced, but the tray was replaced, and no compensation was offered. This makes us very dissatisfied! In general, this restaurant was not clean. Anything can happen, but please handle the situation differently.

The dirtiest McDonald's I've ever been to. Trays of food were still on the tables. Tables hadn't been cleaned. One person was serving the food. The food wasn't good either. The fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. The rolls were even drier than the flour they use to make them. The inside was full of wasps. We ordered table service and had to pick it up ourselves instead of having it brought to us. The numbered signs weren't picked up. All in all, the restaurant was filthy. The service was poor, and the food wasn't anything to write home about. I definitely won't recommend this McDonald's. It's better to keep driving.

We were there on a Sunday evening at 11:00 PM and had to wait a very long time for a small order! The whole thing was not recommended! The restrooms were in a very poor condition! We will never eat here again!

An empty McDonald's inside, cars are backed up at the drive-thru because no food is being served. The employees are standing around with four people, talking and laughing. They waited 20 minutes for three cheeseburgers—a must.

Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to place an order at the counter. Several people confirmed to me that they don't accept orders at the counter, without giving an explanation. This is somewhat disappointing, as McDonald's website clearly states that ordering at the counter is also possible. I hope for clearer communication in the future.

Burger orders were "forgotten" several times at the drive-in... the first missing order, they say, it can happen. But this many times in a row is unusual. Older employees at the cash register and service are very aggressive towards customers and towards each other, they are just barking. Come back here after 4 years and nothing has changed at all, ask for a sling for the drink on the way, they say it can only be for milkshakes, food got half and had to wait 5 minutes for the other half

Dear McDonald's team in Rhade. I notice again and again when I drive through your drive-thru, place my order, and am asked to pay, that I'm always missing 1 or 2 cents. As a customer, I find it uncomfortable to ask for a 1 cent change when it's missing. That cent doesn't matter to me, but today it happened again. My order was as follows: - 1 double Big Mac meal for €11.99 I paid for this meal with a €50 bill. I was then asked if I had €2 left, probably due to a lack of change, which is fine up to this point, but to give me back €40 again instead of €40.01, as if it were completely normal and natural, is not OK in my opinion. As I said, I want to make it clear: I don't care about a single cent, but rather the frequency of this problem. ``` By that, I mean, McDonald's doesn't give me anything for free, so why would I give away money so casually again?????? I also think that if this happened every day, all day long, a lot of money would accumulate, which I would consider embezzled. My only response to a phone complaint was "I'll talk to the employee." Not recommended. Despite complaining, we received the McSundae in a McFlurry portion size. They said they could weigh it. Since we had a McSundae and a McFlurry (both without sauces), we could clearly see that the McSundae was too small. Very annoying and unfriendly to customers.

An absolute disaster. You're constantly waiting for your food. Last time, they completely forgot about it, and we only got it after asking several times. Then an employee became abusive and rude. It's incredibly dirty. The owner and MC should rethink their concept.

We ordered two double-pack meals and had to wait 25 minutes for our food. They couldn't serve four burgers in that 25 minutes. We received three. One McDonald's Classic was brought to our table after another five minutes. Fast-food restaurant?! When we arrived, two McDonald's employees were standing in front of the entrance with two visitors/friends. When we left the restaurant, these four people were still standing there. In my opinion, the time management and employee motivation there are poor. •Employees wait about 50 minutes in front of the entrance. •Orders don't arrive quickly enough. •Tidiness and cleanliness could be better. Conclusion: There is room for improvement. The other reviews point to similar problems with the McDonald's branch.

This staff is the worst. They talk to each other at full volume throughout the store, so that you could hear every conversation even in the furthest corner. When I wanted to pay, all they said was, "Wallah... take care of THAT guy." I'm not that guy. Manners are an art.

We can't agree with the other reviews. We were there for breakfast and were completely impressed. I'd say it was the cleanest McDonald's with the best service we've ever been to. Super attentive, friendly service, and fast, freshly prepared, hot food. 5/5 :)

When employees shout loudly for help in front of customers, that says it all. A confused mess. Missing orders. Long wait for four burgers (25 minutes). Clownish atmosphere. Mc Cafe closed. You can't pay at the counter and are fobbed off and sent to the touchscreen. Supposedly no cash register, but the EC machine lights up without a problem? Why isn't it removed? We were dissatisfied and this branch did not leave a good impression on the whole. Not recommended. Food was OK.

I went to McDonald's for the first time in a long time and had the Chicken Big Mac. It's tiny, and for the price, you really get nothing. Burger King is much better, and the burgers taste better, too. Service took a long time, but that can happen sometimes.

Pfff how bad...we waited an hour for our food. The tables were full of trays full of garbage. Only 1 person who brought the food around, kept the garbage cans and had to serve the coffee corner. The food tasted very good!!

Trash cans overflowing, tables dirty, no soap in the restrooms. Yes, it was busy, but I just have to have more staff during peak times. Other branches can handle that, too.

The food tastes the way it should. It's always nice and warm. Recently, it was very busy, and when we met, I actually forgot about it. A burger. So I called the village, and the lady immediately and calmly sorted it out with me. Everything was great!

Ordered at the drive-through. First, they didn't want to give us a drink, even though we had ordered and paid for it. Then, at home, we noticed that the MCM meals didn't come with fries, but they did have sauces, albeit some of them were wrong. To top it off, the Happy Meal toy was missing. If at least the employee had been friendly, it could have earned two stars.

I've been to many McDonald's restaurants, but this one was by far the dirtiest 😱 and disorganized. I wouldn't give it a star for service and ambiance. Once again, the Coke was low, almost non-carbonated, so only 3 stars.

We had to wait quite a long time for our takeaway order. Everything seemed very hectic and chaotic. A not very friendly employee rudely told another customer that orders could only be placed at the terminal and not at the counter. Our fries were very light, undercooked, and underseasoned. Of course, this only became apparent when you unwrapped them. We won't leave the A31 at this location next time.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the store. The waiting times are really unreasonable and the staff is very rude and the entire area doesn't seem hygienic.
