McDonald's in Dorsten

McDonald's employees place waiting customers in the drive-in, creating a backlog of 8 cars. When you asked other customers to clear the way, the McDonald's employee stupidly attacked you from the side. The ice melted before you could leave the drive-in. The entire stay in the drive-in from ordering to leaving took about 20 minutes. “Only 1 Mc Sundae ice cream was ordered”. The term fast food takes on a whole new meaning. Customer service looks different to me. Too bad!

Our go to McDonald's when we have a concert in the Ruhrgebiet area. Food is good, store is clean and the toilets are well maintained. The service was dramatic though. We ordered through self-service, but had to pay at the cash register. We had to wait for more than 15 minutes before someone from the staff came to help us. There were 6 people in line waiting.

We had to wait a very long time for our food. Over 30 minutes! The toilets are dirty and there was no soap nor did the hand dryers work. The employees were overwhelmed with the work. The return carts were not emptied and trash was piling up. Three more employees could easily be needed here. There were no toys either. Not usable at McDonalds for once. Plan your time and take disinfectant with you, tables are not cleaned either.

Absolute, chronically understaffed, chaos shop that simply cannot cope with the sometimes high number of guests (located directly on the A31). No matter whether in a restaurant or in McDrive. You always wait an extraordinarily long time (compared to other McDonald's branches) and it often looks like a battlefield inside because there is apparently a lack of staff to empty the full tray stations or just wipe down the used tables with a damp cloth.

It tastes like McDonald's, it's the usual McDonald's food. This was the second time we were there while passing through. The first time was terrible because the few, poor employees had to deal with far too many people and their orders at the same time - they simply had no chance of maintaining order and completing all the orders quickly at the same time. All the tables were occupied, there were people standing around waiting for their food and the line of cars in the drive was so long that you had problems getting your car out of the parking lot. We would have been better off driving to the nearest McDonald's. The second time there was relaxed and everything was tidy and tidy and the salad was crisp and fresh.

Apart from the rare case that things go wrong, such as getting the wrong food, everyone is very friendly, with a few exceptions. In addition, it looks very nice there after the renovation.

The nastiest McDonald's I've ever seen. Saw several rats outside in the parking lot. Unfortunately, when we had already finished the food. In the restaurant the floor was so dirty, there was leftover food on the floor, the tables were so disgustingly dirty... the staff stood behind the counter and twiddled their thumbs. I wouldn't eat here again for any money in the world.

Very clean McDonalds branch. The employees are also very nice, and the food is typical McDonald's. The order went through the screen like in the other branches. The food we ordered came to the table very quickly.

Loading dirt. You can't eat properly here, it's just uncomfortable, dirty, unhygienic, and disgusting. For example, there were pieces in my ayran or the chicken burger was unbearable. I don’t even want to get started on the crispy chicken burger.

Unfortunately, my last visit to this McDonald's was disappointing. The staff were very rude to each other, which created an unpleasant atmosphere for the guests. We also had to wait a very long time for our food. And when it finally arrived, the quality was disappointing and not up to the typical standard I'm used to from McDonald's. Overall it was not a recommended experience.

We ordered 2 wraps and 2 lattes at the drive in. My cheese wrap was without cheese. Instead the bacon with bacon AND cheese. Unfortunately the coffee was without milk. It took forever for that to happen. I wanted to offer help 🤨

Unfriendly. It's the most McDonald's I've ever seen. The food was cold and when the staff pointed it out, they complained about it.

The dirtiest Mac Donald I've ever seen. Everything was dirty on the floor, with paper and leftover food scattered around. Cleaned tables with your hands so that you could eat at all. Clearance stations are all over the place full of trash and full tablets. Apparently no one feels responsible for this. Now to eat. Waited a long time until it came to the table and then the fries were cold and the burgers were only lukewarm. When we complained we were also insulted in an unfriendly manner. When a new burger and fries were brought to us, we were advised to eat quickly before they got cold. When a guest from the next table intervened and said that his fries were also cold and that he only got them a minute ago, he was further harassed. So I have to say that this wasn't an isolated incident, because we stopped there several times because it was on the way home, but that it was definitely the last time we were there. All I can say is you better drive on and get something to eat somewhere else.

What a regression. Only 1 toilet was available and the towel dryer does not work. Dirty restaurant and the order is not delivered properly. Really not recommended 😔

A really clean branch. The order was quickly completed and promptly brought to the table. In addition, the order was complete.

I was there this morning at breakfast time. A really nice employee at the front helped me with my order. Then suddenly it got a bit more crowded and all of a sudden she was doing the drive, the cash register and also the café!! At some point another employee came forward (supervisor) and started to “help” the nice employee. She prepared the orders on the trays at the checkout area and handed them to her colleague to bring them to the tables! I was wondering what kind of multi-talent this employee is. She was already busy in the drive and in the café. The supervisor, however, didn't move a meter! Of course, everything takes longer if one employee has to do everything while the other is working hard. Respect to the hard-working employee who always remained friendly and apologized that it took a while. The supervisor just bossed her around and gave her very rude answers. How can you treat your colleagues like that? No wonder no one wants to work there. I've been there often and have seen this behavior from superiors several times. As a guest, I find this behavior very unpleasant. I just had to get that off my chest today because I just felt sorry for the nice employee today! You could tell she was really trying to get everything done. You should be happy that you have such an employee. The supervisor should be ashamed of herself.

I've been waiting for my take-out order for more than 30 minutes while one order after another goes out at the DriveThru...

Employees couldn't keep up at rush hour (SA 7:30 p.m./8 p.m.). All tables dirty, floor greasy from the service employee's walk, no napkins, toilets without soap and toilet paper. After a nice note about the lack of hygiene products, there was only an indifferent reaction.

Dirty, unfriendly, there was rubbish everywhere, the ashtrays outside were full and there was ashes on the tables and there was another rat on the terrace. Oh yes, the floor inside is slippery (from the grease)! It was 23 degrees and dry before anyone says it was just wet! I'd rather not write anything about the toilets!!!! I've never seen anything like this!!!!

The waiting times at the McDonald's drive-thru are really unreasonable... 30 minutes +

I was there with my 3.5 year old daughter, as well as my partner and her son. It was very hot that day and the children were hungry. Have 1! We had to wait an hour for our food, which we only received after a loud fuss from me (I was extremely embarrassed, but the children had to be taken care of). No service was possible that day without drama and theater. The workforce was completely overwhelmed. The branch looked like a mess (nothing to add to the pictures of other reviews). We placed the order online before entering the store and asked to cancel my order. Was not possible because the order was “unfortunately” deleted from the system. However, I paid for everything. The food was then brought to the table cold and in multiple batches. That was an absolute disaster! I then contacted the complaint management and complained that my daughter and my partner's son were basically being held there. Apart from a “sorry and please come back soon” there was nothing. This branch may look family-friendly on the outside, but appearances are deceptive. Furthermore, the service is unacceptable. If you want to sit on such a high horse... Burger King is 15 minutes away (I'm still waiting for a clever response from the complaint management).

Took over 40 minutes in McDrive. It doesn't really have much to do with fast food anymore and to top it off, the order wasn't even complete.

Ich gehe öfter bei McDonalds einen Cappuccino trinken. Es passiert immer wieder, dass man einen Becher bekommt, obwohl man im Restaurant trinken möchte. Wenn man sich beschwert, wird das Getränk einfach genervt vom Becher in die Tasse geschüttet. Unmögliches Verhalten der Mitarbeiter und auch des Vorgesetzten, der es auch noch toleriert. Das Personal gibt sich größtenteils keine Mühe und ist meines Erachtens nicht kundenfreundlich.

One of the worst McDonalds in Germany. Despite the average number of guests, we waited about 30 minutes for our food. This was then cold... During the entire time no one cleaned the tables and floors. Totally dirty, the whole store! The toilets are the worst, dirty, smelly, disgusting! Never, never again!

They simply never manage to pack the entire order into the bag. Every time at least one thing is missing. I'm starting to suspect there's a stitch behind it.

What a disaster. The floor was littered with remnants of a milkshake and the return trays were piled up in a leaning tower. Dirt everywhere you looked. There are far too few staff and they are geared towards delivery. You MUST order through this electronic kack menu and wait for delivery. Everything is geared towards shoo-shoo. The girls don't have time to clean up or mop the floor. It's a mystery to me how you can make money like that. The visit after more than 3 years confirmed that I would never go to the MC again...

Service is bad, you have to wait forever for a little something. Open early at 7 a.m., nothing is ready before 7:30 a.m. and you wait and wait.

Just can't tell plant nuggets from real nuggets. It's happened several times now. I think it's an absolute disgrace to sell meat nuggets to people who wanted vegetarian nuggets. If you ask, you'll be told they're the right ones and that you know everything because you've been working there for 6 years... well, it's a shame, but the fact is: you can do a bad job for 6 years. And it's actually not that difficult

Solid food. Restaurant and especially toilets terribly dirty.

Motorway exit Lembeck and then you're there in 2 minutes. Normal MC but mostly very clean. The employees are usually super nice and will also help with small requests. As a gesture of goodwill, we have often received more than we ordered due to the long waiting time or received ice cream as a gift.

The toilets couldn't be locked, there was no toipa. Generally quite unhygienic.

August 31, 2024 6:00 p.m. A disaster😡 We ordered two cappuccinos with our meal. We were served these in ToGo cups even though we were sitting in the restaurant. We didn't accept them and asked for cups. The statement “We don’t have any cups” came promptly. A look to the left proved the statement to be a lie; the cups were clearly visible. We then told the waitress where the cups could be found, whereupon she walked away, obviously very upset. When the cappuccino was brought to us in cups, we slammed it onto the table without comment and with a (if looks could kill) expression on our faces. And like a flash the lady disappeared. I decided to publish this review here because it is completely pointless to contact McDonald's. There you will receive an email with the answer that the process has been forwarded to the franchisee. Here you can wait forever for an answer.

Food was below average for a McDonald's. The food came very quickly for a group of 5 but was a bit cold. What is not possible is that the toilets were dirty, toilet paper was flying everywhere and there was apparently no paper left in the women's toilets.

Eating something there on a Saturday lunchtime means waiting at least 40 minutes for the FAST food, then the orders are not complete and/or the food is cold. Nobody feels responsible for disposing of the garbage, which is why some of it remains on the tables. Unfortunately you have to give at least one star, unfortunately you don't deserve one for your performance today... 🤬

Waited 45 minutes for the food, extremely rude when we wanted to cancel the order. Reference to a large order, however more than 20 orders that came in after us were delivered beforehand. Garbage will not be cleared away - never again!

We ordered some donuts and lattes. Poor-tasting *black* (!!!) coffee was sold as milk coffee. When we asked, we were rather rudely referred to the small packets of coffee cream. Unfortunately there is no well-trained staff and they are also unfriendly. Too bad!

9 a.m. tables dirty as if the day was over. The floor is so dirty that I wonder why the wiping warning signs were put up in the first place, but they are certainly there simply because they have already become so established in the inventory. Toilets completely underground, I have no idea how wet something I was standing in. But I'd rather not know what it was! Hand dryer with so much dirt in the collecting basin that it was better not to blow your hands dry. Even the coffee spoon looked like it had already been stirred through 3 other cups.

Maybe good on other days, but today a disaster. Unfortunately the team was completely overwhelmed, the food took 20 minutes, the wrong things were delivered, but McNuggets were good. We couldn't take our rubbish away because there was a huge pile of rubbish at the disposal station. The mood changed at times and customers demanded their money back. The toilet, however, was reasonably clean. Maybe employees called in sick at short notice and the remaining colleagues tried their best, but unfortunately that wasn't so nice today.

The food was cold and a cowardly bite, not everything in the order was complete, the waste corner was not cleaned up because we could not get rid of the tray and the toilet paper was nowhere to be found, in addition, the toilet was very unhygienic Never eaten at such a bad McDonald's before

Went to eat while passing through a year ago and had breakfast today. McD is McD, but at least it's clean and again very friendly service despite extra requests just before breakfast ends 😅

Clean and tidy McDonald. Ideally located on the highway. The gas station next door is also okay. Good opportunity for a break because there is the perfect coffee from McCaffee here. And open again early in the morning. The food is ready quickest here. Excellent!

If your employee can't read, take pictures, maybe they can. ... And fast isn't always a good thing, just take a minute more and check the order again to see if everything is in there.. MFG

Early in the morning there was no one in the restaurant except us. It was dirty, there was leftover food on the floor, the tables were dirty and not wiped down. The women's toilets had apparently been cleaned recently, at least the toilet seats were up and brown from below.

On the Filet o Fish there was only half a slice of cheese per burger.

We had to wait almost 50 minutes for our food. Yes it was crowded, but for fast food it was not that fast. Also we couldn’t find a good place to park our car because the parkinglot didn’t have a lot of spaces.

They had so much to do that day that half of them were missing. But you get it if you go there

We don't need to talk about the food. MC is fast food. The staff speaks their own language, the toilets could perhaps be better checked and cleaned. Otherwise an MC like all the other branches.

The food came quickly, was fresh and hot. Very nice, dog-friendly staff. Since we are always out and about with our dogs, we are happy to come back. Better than many other branches.

Clean bathrooms. Too little parking. Sunday 6pm, party of 4, 3 separate orders. Ours came after 21 mins, the second five minutes later, and my sister in law waited 55 mins for her order!

It's a McDonald's like any other, BUT this one differs in one way from every other McDonald's I've ever been to: the friendliest and nicest people work here. All employees are always in a good mood and happy. Here you always leave with a smile

Disaster just ordered at midnight. The employees were great and it didn't take long, but when we saw how many fat rats were running around the Mcces we quickly lost our appetite. What needs to be done even faster is an exterminator immediately.

The best McDonald's I've ever been to! The shop was relatively empty and so the food came quickly. For the first time, the fries were really warm and very tasty. In contrast to other branches, the lettuce on the burgers was fresh and crunchy. The staff was really friendly!

It's just a McDonald's. It's okay. Ate some ICE CREAM there. This is excellent.

A nightmare McD 😃 Drive In took 100 years

So if the ordering machine doesn't work, the employees are unfortunately a bit overwhelmed. I actually enjoy going there regularly, but the service still needs work. Otherwise I'll have to look for another fast food restaurant.

Everything was super clean. Super nice and very committed branch manager. Cares about the guests and was always available to help everyone (definitely worth a raise ☺️) such good staff is rare in McDonald's restaurants. Thumbs up 👍 Always happy to stay here, we felt very comfortable.

Very crowded and long waiting time.

Really hard working and friendly personnel. Loved the quality of food preparation. I think they were understaffed as the trash was completely full.

"Iced Latte" in a paper cup (despite being consumed on site) with a hint of ice cubes, cappuccino was a cup of coffee full to the brim with milk and some milk foam. There were no spoons for the cup. Complaints not possible because “the machine just does it that way”. It's better to go to the gas station over there, they know that a cappuccino consists of milk foam with espresso. Btw. The toilet wasn't clean either, but was at least checked after being reported.

We were just there... it says in the store and on the internet that mcces is open until 1am. We stood in front of a locked door and everything was dark. Nobody was there at the drive-in and everything was quiet. The Avia salesman said you were open until 1pm. Outrageous. Also very outrageous that you don't update anything on the internet or anything like that..!!! Shame on you.

We were there yesterday early afternoon. The staff were extremely friendly. Part of our order was "forgotten" and the restaurant apologized with four caramel sundaes. We found really good customer service.

Pure chaos Mega, full and mega chaos! This is how fast food becomes slow food! Very long waiting times 45 minutes and longer!!! The employees deal with the anger of the customers.
