Today we had mix Max of starters again, it was very tasty. The ambience is nice. Service was very attentive. Summer or winter, we are always happy to be there.

Haksen is delicious, but a bit salty for Korean tastes...

Excellent Swabian cuisine! The service was fast and helpful. We had a peaceful dinner in the beautiful center of Stuttgart, right behind the Old Castle. Really delicious suckling pig!

Nice bar/restaurant down a quiet street, off the main area. Traditional interior & brew their own beer on site - very tasty,as usually prefer darker brew. Staff friendly & welcoming. Have various seating areas - outside, cellar area. Ordered the 3 meats & pork knuckle. Both excellent choice & lots of food - totally stuffed & prices not too expensive

We went for a goose dinner with 16 people. The pre-order was 4 whole geese with traditional side dishes. The side dishes were just red cabbage, just like it tasted, straight out of the bag. The dumplings were also ready-made raw dumplings. The worst thing was the process. First a few side dishes came, then 2 gooses cut a little, but not divided into 4 portions. It was pure battle. The next geese came much later when the side dishes were almost cold. Chestnuts were completely missing. All in all it wasn't worth the price as there are local places with more ambiance that just do it better.

Schon längere Zeit kommen wir immer wieder mal in dieses Lokal. Es ist recht urig eingerichtet und auch recht groß.Im Sommer ist es sehr schön draußen zu sitzen.Auch wenn es gut besucht ist,so ist die Wartezeit angemessen. Die Speisekarte ist reichlich mit viel Fleisch und auch vegetarisch ausgestattet. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet und das schmeckt man auch.Zu dem ganzen gibt es ein Salatbuffet mit ausreichend Auswahl.Über Preise reden wir mal nicht.Es ist überall teurer geworden.Wir werden auch in Zukunft wieder kommen. Lasst es euch schmecken!

Beautiful, rustic Äppelwoi economy. Delicious food and very friendly service. The small glass garden houses in the yard are a great idea. Very comfortable for a maximum of 8 people.

We had a reservation for 8 people at 7pm. Everyone was on time - only the waiters didn't want to talk to us. We waited 30 minutes for the cards and only then were our drink requests accepted. We had our drinks at around 7:50 p.m. and our food at around 8:30 p.m. If we hadn't been with guests, I would have left within the first half hour. The food was good and plentiful - but it's too expensive even for Hamburg standards. The restaurant lives from its history, the photos and the ambience - it does not live from its service. Overall, it was too loud and dark for me, but that could have been passed off as quaint. Overall, an evening that I don't need to repeat.

Wir hatten eine super köstliche Martinsgans mit schmackhaften Beilagen (Rotkohl, Bohnen, Kroketten und herrlicher Soße — wer Rosenkohl möchte, sollte diesen vorab bei der Reservierung bestellen). Unser erwachsener Sohn, der keinen Rotkohl mag, hat ihn probiert und war begeistert. Es war eine Freund dieses Speisen essen zu können. Gruß an die Küche. Faszinierend war der Service. Mit welcher Freundlichkeit und Ruhe die Mitarbeitenden diesen „Ansturm“ bewältigt haben. Tolles Team. Wir freuen uns schon auf das Gänse-Essen im nächste Jahr. Ein Tipp: schon im August reservieren, sonst wird es schwierig. Wobei das ja eigentlich für Corell spricht.
