A wonderful evening with excellent food, truly friendly and attentive service, and beautiful decor. A fantastic atmosphere! And the Christmas decorations with their many fairy lights made everyone's eyes light up, not just the children's.

This evening, the two of us (with a reservation) dined at Franz Xaver. Nice atmosphere, very good roast pork (albeit rather small portions), friendly and attentive waiter/waitress. As we were about to leave (the waiter politely informed us that the table would be needed for new guests in a few minutes), the junior manager/owner shouted across the entire restaurant towards our table, "The table is needed now!" Since we had already paid, I asked him to finish our beers in two minutes, which he arrogantly refused. His behavior unfortunately completely ruined the overall impression; a little respect and courtesy would be advisable.

Business lunch – excellent service, excellent food – we were significantly later than planned (40 minutes) due to a prior meeting, but they held a table for us after we called ahead. The restaurant was full when we arrived. First time there, and we would definitely go back!

A very nice inn with a charming atmosphere. I was initially a bit worried on the way there, as the inn is right next to railway tracks. However, it was wonderfully quiet inside, and we didn't hear a thing from the train during our entire visit. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive – it couldn't have been better. Now, let's talk about the food. There were two of us, and we ordered Wiener Schnitzel with parsley potatoes and Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions) with Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle). Both dishes were beautifully presented. The spaetzle were delicious, and the roast beef was incredibly juicy and tender. Unfortunately, that's where the praise ends, because the gravy from the roast was a complete disappointment. It wasn't a packet sauce, but I expect a homemade gravy to be rich and glossy. Sadly, it was very bland and lacked any shine. As for the potatoes, some were very good, while others tasted like they were leftovers from the day before. The potatoes were a mixed bag. The schnitzels were truly embarrassing. Two schnitzels covered half the plate and looked incredibly delicious, but when you cut into them, half the meat was gone. The weight of the meat was a maximum of 120g, which is outrageous in itself. At first, I was tempted to order dessert, but I have to say, if someone sends out food like that at those prices, I don't want to spend any more money.

Saturday evening, 8:30 p.m., no hot food because "the manager is no longer interested." Then a lady is called "my love" by the staff. A complicated journey, never again!

Making a reservation was completely straightforward. Upon arrival, we received a very warm and friendly welcome, which immediately created a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail and an inviting ambiance. The menu offers a good selection – there's something for every taste. While the prices are on the higher end, the quality, service, and atmosphere absolutely justify it. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return.

Pancake soup had an unremarkable taste, chanterelles were smothered by an unremarkable, overly rich white sauce, and the wine spritzer was very thin.

I still can't believe it. A Wiener Schnitzel for €32.00 straight from the deep fryer, the breading just crumbled off. The same thing happened with the fried chicken. The 0.1 l Crémant for €7.90 had also been open for a few days. If we hadn't had Oktoberfest vouchers and the waiter hadn't been so incredibly friendly, I would have complained. This sort of thing doesn't happen anymore, even in the worst village pub.

A restaurant made for us! The chef is fantastic! All of our dishes were outstanding! I've never eaten such great Tafelspitz. And everything was beautifully presented – what more could you ask for? The service was top-notch. Fast, friendly, and helpful. And we also really liked the ambiance – inside, that is. The beer garden looks nice, but it was already closed in October. At first glance, the Franz Xaver seemed rather expensive, but we changed our minds because the value of the food (large portions and good quality) justifies the prices. It's a shame we live on the other side of Munich, otherwise this restaurant would probably be our regular. Highly recommended!

Even though we live in Deisenhofen and come here regularly, it's always something special. The seasonal dishes, the very friendly service, the cozy atmosphere... simply wonderful!

As we have done many times in recent years, we came here to redeem our leftover Oktoberfest vouchers for dinner. We naively arrived without a reservation, but after a short waiting period, we were able to get a table despite the restaurant being full and peak season. Compliments to the restaurant manager and his entire team; the service was super friendly and professional throughout the evening! The ambiance was super cozy, and the dishes were all top-notch. This makes traditional Bavarian cuisine and hospitality paired with a modern interpretation a real delight. Fran Xaver is definitely a recommendation. We'll definitely be back :-)

We spontaneously went there today and received a very warm welcome. We had a 7-year-old with us, who was treated very kindly and was personally brought in from outside for dessert by the waiter 🤗 Even the little ones' wishes were fulfilled. The food was incredibly delicious and the portions were more than generous – even the children's portion. We would love to come back.

Very friendly service, very good food, reasonable value for money. While the beer garden is a standard beer garden with typical beer garden food, the restaurant is really very good.

A genuine Bavarian quality inn. It's ideal for bringing guests from out of town, if you want to show that Bavarian cuisine can be truly friendly, attentive, and delicious. Haberl Gastronomie has it all, including every year at the Oktoberfest, where the Oachenbraterei is the best tent in terms of gastronomy. The reservation system is also great. A voice assistant is available when you call, followed by a text message with confirmation.

First of all: the service and ambiance are great, but the food is crucial, and our experience here was only average. Since this is a "classic" Bavarian restaurant, the classic choice: roast pork and cheese spaetzle. The cheese spaetzle were served with dry, cold, hard, tasteless fried onions; the cheese wasn't a spicy mountain cheese, but rather the opposite: tasteless; the crust of the roast pork was also cold and completely dried out, not bonded to the meat, but simply placed on top. Doesn't a proper roast pork have a crust that should be bonded to the meat, smothered in sauce, and tempered like the meat? For us, yes. After this experience with these two dishes, it was all too un-Bavarian for us, and we won't be coming back.

Arroganz hoch 10! Obwohl uns im Biergarten vom Koch höchstpersönlich versprochen wurde dass wir im Wirtshaus etwas essen können wurden wir dort ultra arrogant mit unserer 3 Jährigen Tochter abgewiesen. Eine Schande für Oberhaching dieses Wirtshaus!!

So when we arrived at the restaurant yesterday, October 3rd at 12:50, we were already aware that we probably wouldn't get a seat on a public holiday without a reservation, but we still wanted to give it a try. We asked the older waiter, about 48 years old, dark, short hair, about 1.70 tall. (Image attached, which I deleted from my device) Whether he still had a table for us. Very hectic and visibly under stress, he said... "But this one until 1:30 p.m.," which is about minutes. Then I just said, well if the kitchen can do it, we'll definitely be able to do it, right?. The waiter's answer: you know it's a holiday? And left the room for the tavern. I looked at my wife and we didn't really know what phase was. He then gesticulated wildly again in a clearly irritated voice and said again: Do you know that it's a holiday? I now have 16 new guests... Today is a holiday... You have to know that... After this repeated unfriendly attack, we got up and left. We have rarely experienced something so unfriendly. If a table is only available for 30 minutes, as a condition of a good location you should ask whether you want something to eat or maybe just coffee and cake and then decide whether it fits with the 30 minute time slot or not. Instead of offering a table and then disgusting the guests out again. I have the greatest understanding when you are stressed in the catering industry. But to be ordered like this three times is beneath all dignity. We had the idea of ​​possibly even hosting our 60pax company celebration in the Alm, but we have to refrain from doing that for now. I hope that with this message we can help to significantly improve the service.

wir kommen immer wieder gerne in dieses urgemütliche Wirtshaus. Kleine, aber sehr feine Auswahl an Speisen. Das Essen ist sehr schön angerichtet und richtig lecker. Dimitri, der uns bediente, war wie immer äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da fühlt man sich als Gast wohl! Früher wurde ein sensationelles Brot gereicht. Schade, dass es das nicht mehr gibt.

We wanted to have lunch on the way through. Unfortunately, due to the rude attitude of the waiter, we had to continue walking on an empty stomach. When someone works directly with people, they must be able to control their nerves and not offend guests. Besides, no one expects a waiter to be able to do magic. We wanted to eat at 3pm on a Sunday. The inn was completely empty except for two tables. The waiter said everything was reserved. That's a disgrace. Never again.

Ayant des Gutscheine de la tente Ochsenbraterei de l'Oktoberfest à utiliser, nous sommes allé déjeuner au Kugler Alm. Belle salle, bien décorée. Très bon accueil, soupe à l'oignon correcte, superbe Tafelspitz. Nous reviendrons, au printemps cette fois, pour profiter du cadre et de la terrasse.

I would have liked more choice on the menu, the roast pork we had was good, there was extra sauce, coleslaw and a relatively small dumpling. For the children there was a children's menu with 4 dishes to choose from The service was attentive and friendly.

We celebrated our wedding in July at Franz Xaver and can only report positive things. We had a great day. The service and kitchen team did a great job. Very nice beer garden with a large playground for the kids. You have to bring your own food and drinks. Half a chicken cost €12.90 without any side dishes, which I personally found a bit expensive. But I also come from a village, probably normal in big cities. But everything tasted good. I highly recommend it.

Addendum ; Unfortunately, the recent visit was not such an experience. June 24th. There were 2 dishes to choose from, it was a birthday invitation and very embarrassing. It's a shame. After the renovation, eating out again for the first time. Ladhauscarme with modern coziness, a pleasant place to spend a nice evening. The staff, very attentive and friendly, patiently explained the new menu. We immediately decided on the 5-course meat carousel, which sounded very interesting. Great service and very tasty modern Bavarian cuisine!

Went there on a Friday evening and the place was relatively empty. There was a greeting from the kitchen, which was very good. The portions are relatively small. The map is also quite manageable. The service was mixed, initially good, but around 9:30 p.m. you clearly noticed that you would like to call it a day.

Too bad! Actually a nice alternative to the beer garden next door if you want something a little more upscale. The food tastes good, but portions are very small (goat cheese salad with 1/2 slice of cheese roll, spreads to share with 3 small slices of bread). Unfortunately, the service, which is completely overwhelmed, doesn't make it feel upscale at all. Overwhelm and understaffing can of course occur. With an empty restaurant and a beer garden about half full, it's hard to understand (I know the industry very well myself, around 20 tables with 2 waiters should be possible). Even if the employees are new, a lot would be forgivable if the service was at least friendly and courteous. Waiting over 40 minutes for a cold starter (which you then had to go in for) without asking or apologizing. Appetizer board to share but no plates. Water to share but no glasses. Main course roast for several people, but not everyone gets a plate, waiting for minutes for the plate... Everything took a long time, including clearing away, and no one ever asked for anything in between. Positive: Undressed clothes are picked up past the very long queue. Potential guests next to us were then sent away very rudely because it was too full (the beer garden wasn't even half full). We adapted the umbrella ourselves for the shade we specifically wanted. For a cheap restaurant it would be borderline, but at €17 for a starter you would at least expect good service. So it's rather embarrassing if you want to invite people to a celebratory event.

Unfortunately, when the beer garden is half full, the staff is so overwhelmed that no more seats can be allocated, and this is pointed out in an unfriendly manner. So you will be asked to leave immediately.

We were there very early, so we had part of the place almost to ourselves. The service was very attentive and friendly. The greeting from the kitchen was unique, very good bread and Landjäger from our own ox. All the dishes were very good, you have to like the vegan dish, so perhaps a vegetarian version makes more sense. Certainly pricey, but very nice for a birthday party. Thanks to the whole team

Six of us were at Franz Xaver yesterday because we remembered it well from 2019. Unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. First we had to wait 50 minutes for the crémant we ordered, the gentlemen at the table got their beer after 40 minutes. Starter and main course were okay. The not so good impression continued with dessert: there was a piece of plastic in the Kaiserschmarrn, the raspberry sorbet was missing vodka and instead of that Chocolate mousse was served with a chocolate ice cream scoop. After we asked the waiter about it, he replied that he would think of something. What that was, however, remained unclear. Overall, the service seems overwhelmed and understaffed. Very unfortunate!

Igazán csendes és otthonos, sok parkolóhellyel. Az étel nagyon finom és különösen jól tálalva.

Durch einen Artikel in der Süddeutschen Zeitung sind wir auf das Wirtshaus Franz Xaver aufmerksam geworden. Der erste Eindruck, eine schöne äußere Fassade, setzt sich innen nahtlos fort. Sehr geschmackvolles Ambiente, gediegen, elegant und hochwertig. Gott sei Dank ohne den sonst leider viel zu oft anzutreffenden bayrisch- kitschigen Schnick Schnack. Der Artikel und die auf der Homepage veröffentliche Speisekarte ließen einiges hoffen. Eingangs wurde ein leckeres und knuspriges Sauerteigbrot mit „karamellisierter?“ Butter auf den Tisch gestellt. War für mich neu, dass man Butter karamellisieren kann. Der Service freundlich, unaufdringlich und kompetent. Aber wie ab und zu anzutreffen, auch hier Licht und Schatten. Das pochierte Ei mit Sucuk- Sauerkraut, ohne Beanstandungen, aber eben auch nur ein pochiertes Ei. Deutlich besser da die Entenessenz, kräftig- aromatisch (leider nur lauwarm) mit Wan Tans und einer köstlichen Füllung. Darunter Shiitake Tartar und Scheiben von Shiitake Pilz. Das Ochsen- Flanksteak in feine Tranchen geschnitten, sehr zart, auf einem „Blunzenbrot“. Das Brot mit Blutwurstfüllung, geschmacklich grenzwertig, mit einem etwas unangenehmen, leicht beißenden Geschmack. Nur probiert, dann aber liegen gelassen. Als kleiner Gag obendrauf, frittierter Grünkohl, witzig. Franz Xavers Schnitzel mit schöner soufflierter Panierung, zart, der Kartoffelsalat etwas zu trocken, eher belanglos, das können viele bayrische Wirtschaften besser. Sehr gut, auf der Karte sind von fast allen Gerichten auch kleinere Portionen zu haben, vorbildlich. Wiederbesuch? Mein Fazit: bei einer Anfahrt von ca. 40 Kilometer muss ich nochmal darüber nachdenken.

Wahnsinnig gute Küche: Waller blau, Sauerbraten und die Desserts waren hervorragend. Die Bedienung war auch Klasse. Ich fand es für die gebotene Leistung wirklich preiswert und komme bald wieder.

wir waren erstmals im franz xaver.der service erfreulich gut und interessiert.kleine karte-aber ausreichend- meine sauerkrautsuppe-süppchen war gut-etwas zu weing für 9.00 euro-trotzdem gut-das greichte brot sehr gut-die butter-ok- meine frau ass den saibling und war sehr zufrieden-ich den sauerbraten, der leider kalt war-zudem das rotkraut zerkocht-ober darauf dann das fleisch-ok. um das ganze ein rand mit einer flüssigen nichtssagenden eher tunke-war vielleicht nur decco. und nicht definierbar die spätzle hatten das problem das haselnüsse an den spätzle waren,die leider bitter waren und im gaumen enien ingesamt bitteren geschmack zeigten. insgesamt ein reduziertes erlebnis-die einrichtung macht spass da zu sitzen. die portionen sind mittelprächtig ok-man soll nur nicht meinen dies sei der weg zu einenm stern-sondern eher zu einer guten landhausküche.

Das Essen war heute wieder sensationell. Sowohl der Geschmack als auch die Optik ließen keine Wünsche unerfüllt. Franz Xaver ist sicher eines der besten Restaurants im Süden Münchens. Nicht zu vergessen ist dabei der Service! Jeder für sich ist dabei in seiner ganz persönlichen Art liebenswert und 100% professionell. Hier stimmen auch die Kleinigkeiten. Vom selbst-gebackenen Brot mit karamellisierter Butter bis hin zum fein gedeckten Tisch.

Nach der positiven Bewertung in der SZ waren wir natürlich neugierig auf dieses Restaurant. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön gelungen, die Tische haben genügend Abstand. Parkplatz vor der Türe. Der Service war anfangs sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, reduzierte sich aber mit zunehmender Gästezahl auf das gerade noch zumutbare Maß an Beachtung. Die Speisekarte bietet eine kleine, aber gute Auswahl an Gerichten. Leider war die Umsetzung der Speisen nicht wirklich gut. Keiner von uns war begeistert. Das Schnitzel enttäuschte, da das Fleisch hart war und sich die Panade sofort löste und lasch auf dem Teller lag. Dazu gab es eine winzige Portion guten Kartoffelsalat. Das Ochsen- Flanksteak entpuppte sich als vorgeschnittene Fleischstreifen. Es wäre schön, wenn das auch so in der Speisekarte beschrieben wäre. Der Waller war geschmacklich gut. Die Beilagen sehr überschaubar. Leider waren alle normalen Portionen recht klein geraten. Dafür waren die Preise hoch. Das Wein- und Bierangebot ist gut. Insgesamt ein befriedigender Restaurantbesuch, aber keinesfalls ein Highlight.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, sehr guter freundlicher Service, tolles Ambiente, Preise angemessen. Wir werden bald wiederkommen!

Hier wird einzigartig gekocht! Jeder Teller ein Kunstwerk und die Speisen schmecken fantastisch. Hier ist ein richtiger Profi am Start, bitte weiter so!!! Gerne wäre ich in den Genuss des Karusells gekommen, bitte macht das doch nochmals, mit den kleinen Tellern/Tapas wo man von vielen probieren kann. Ich empfehle gerne weiter, 5 Sterne sind definitiv zu wenig!!!! WOW

Ein Geheimtipp in Oberhaching. Ausgezeichnetes Essen. Gemütliches Lokal. Manuela Schmuck und Carsten Mayer kreieren wunderbare Menues. Viele Speisen gibt es als kleine Portion, weshalb man sich eine Vorspeise oder einen Nachtisch erlauben kann. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Preis und Qualität passt.

Nachdem wir erstmalig im September hier zum Mittagessen waren, stand schon damals fest, hier reservieren wir zu 1.Advent. Sowohl Ende September, als auch jetzt waren wir von der Kreativität der Küche begeistert. Augen- und Gaumenfreuden gleichermaßen - von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert! Auch der Service war sehr gut. Der Weinempfehlung sind wir gefolgt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Leider war die Raumtemperatur sehr niedrig, so dass wir gefroren haben. Die Temperatur unseres Essens, insbes. des Fleisches, war auch nicht perfekt, sondern sowohl die Entenbrust als auch das Reh kalt. Schade! Die Beilagen und Teller warm. Wir haben dies auch der freundlichen Servicemitarbeiterin übermittelt und sie wollte dies auch in die Küche weitergeben. Unser Eindruck (kaltes Essen) bestätigte sich auch im Gespräch mit den Gästen an den beiden Nachbartischen. Dennoch kommen wir wieder, weil wir noch viele Gerichte probieren möchten. Schönes Ambiente, sehr gutes und außergewöhnliches Essen. Preislich gehoben, aber der Qualität und Auswahl angemessen. Wenn man drei Gänge bestellt, bekommt man mindestens 5, da Zwischengänge nach Auswahl der Küche passend zum gewählten gereicht werden. Super schön eingerichtet, irgendwo zwischen modern und urig! Gerade für Feierlichkeiten wie Geburtstage super geeignet.

Mickrige Portionen zu Wucherpreisen. Minderwertige Qualität. Solche Preise kann man in der Maximilianstr. verlangen, aber nicht im Wald, wo sich Fuchsen und Hasen gute Nacht sagen.

Gehobene sehr gute bayerische Küche

Dieses Restaurant ist meiner Meinung nach viel zu überteuert. Das Essen war nicht mein Geschmack. Allerdings ist die Atmosphäre sehr schön und die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich.

Nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Besonders schön dass es auch kleine Portionen gibt.

Hervorragendes Essen, ein fantastischer Kartoffelsalat, wirklich reichliche Portionen und ein freundlicher Service machten den spontanen Besuch zum Genusserlebnis. Besonders hervor zu heben, die Kinderfreundlichkeit. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen ist hervorragend, die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend. Ein Besuch lohnt sich!

Wir waren hier zu Mittag, selten haben wir so gut und frisch gegessen, selbst meine Frau (Veganerin) war mehr als überrascht, die Aubergine!! Traumhaft, gerne wieder! Ein Dankeschön auch an den hilfsbereiten Kellner Mirek

Wir kamen mit hohen Erwartungen aufgund eines Bericht einer Foodbloggerin hierhin . An der Location selber waren wir schon knapp hundert Mal vorbeigeradelt. Uns erwartete jedoch von A bis Z "Der Knaller". Fast fehlerfreie Gerichte von einer Kreativität und Geschmacksfülle, die anderswo erstmal lange gesucht werden muss und weshalb wir normalerweise lange Anreisewege auf uns nehmen. Besonders erwähnenswert die VIER umfangreichen Amuses, nach denen man fast schon satt ist. Ich hatte danach noch 5 Gänge. Das war fast nicht zu bewältigen. Es blieb aber trotzdem nichts auf dem Teller - so gut war es. Ich versprach, NIEEEEEE MEHR etwas zu essen ....und wenn, dann nur noch dort ;-)

Wir waren in diesem Jahr schon in einigen Restaurants mit ambitionierter Küche, aber das war ein absolutes Highlight. Wir hatten ein Fleischmenu ("Karusell") und ein vegetarisches (Gemüsekarusell). Ausnahmslos alle Speisen waren vorzüglich, die Zutaten perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Wenn ich eines herausheben soll, dann das "Distelgmias" dessen Zusammenstellung und Aromen mich einfach begeistert haben. Aber auch der Maibock als Hauptgericht war vorzüglich, ebenfalls die Desserts. Die drei Gänge die wir gewählt hatten wurden durch die verschiedenen "Grüße aus der Küche" dann eigentlich fünf. Auch die offenen Weißweine, die wir im Glas hatten waren sehr gut. Eine kleine Kritik: der offene Rotwein war mind. 3-4 Grad zu warm (es war ein heisser Abend). Als Hobbykoch begrüße ich sehr, dass die Zutaten auf der Speisekarte det. aufgelistet sind, so kann ich mich auch mal daran versuchen, aber das Niveau nat. nie erreichen.
