Schöner Biergarten, kaltes Essen, unverschämte/unfreundliche Essensausgabe, ein Schatten früherer Zeiten, nicht mehr zu empfehlen

We had a nice Sunday lunch here... Huge place with lots seating and live uhmpa band. The food was good and lots to choose from (self help) If it was any closer to home, id be back more often.

We love this place. Living 5 minutes away by the bike, we visit very often in the summer months but unfortunately the food prices are starting to get a little crazy and I fear Kugler will have to become a treat rather than a regular thing. Tonight we had 1 large Brezn, 1 portion of Obazda and 1 half chicken and it was over 27€. Not saying that the prices aren't fair but are too much to come so often. That's a shame but we'll continue to come, but it might be more often for a drink before going home for food. Still love the beer garden though

Beautiful Biergarten a little outside Munich. Great atmosphere and location, and usually less packed than the large Biergarten in the city.

Was there for dinner yesterday. Had spare ribs from the ox. Unfortunately the rips weren't a highlight. It tasted a lot like ox fat and I think the freshness was manageable. Then ordered a schnitzel to take away. The conclusion in the evening was sobering. The breading was twice as thick (not an exaggeration) as the paper-thin schnitzel. And the potato salad consisted of many large chunks and didn't see any salt or vinegar. Sorry guys, that was nothing. Greetings to the pastry chef. The cheesecake was very tasty. Because of that and because of the really attentive waiter, we get three points.

A really nice and cozy beer garden with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is okay, but by no means anything special, it rather gives the impression that there is a lot of warmed-up stuff out of the bag, which actually bothers me. This statement primarily refers to the schnitzel and the sauce of the crusty roast. The lard noodles, on the other hand, are simply delicious. Let's talk about the staff. Everyone was consistently friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. However, I recommend being careful at the checkout as I was given incorrect invoices several times. Sometimes something was missing and sometimes there was too much. Overall a good beer garden with mediocre food.

It's very nice to sit there and there's even a vegan currywurst.

We love to spend the evening here on a warm dry day. We recommend "Steckerlfisch" or rainbow trout. 😋

Whenever we come to Munich, we of course go to the Kugler Alm beer garden, one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Munich. A cool mass, with a tasty Obatzden and a crisp pretzel, that's always possible. even in the middle of a weekday in late October. Just lovely.

Super nice beer garden. Delicious food. The playground could be overhauled, the fence at the back needs to be closed again. Otherwise very nice. The children are having fun. The parents are happy. Steckelfisch is also delicious, but you always have to wait forever because, in my opinion, he always puts too little fish on it and starts grilling it too late, which is annoying. I recommend the beer garden to all my acquaintances and friends and we come here very often.

Beautiful excursion destination, accessible by bike from many directions. Supposedly the Radlermass was invented there, when the beer threatened to run out, the landlord at the time mixed it with lemonade. Typical beer garden and also many different seating areas in the garden. We recommend the extract freshly fried in fat.

A nice place. Everything was as expected. Prices are moderate. There is a children's playground and parking.

There were a lot of delicious vegan dishes. And it wasn't a boring coconut curry, but typical beer garden dishes. We had potato salad, vegan currywurst with fries, mushroom goulash with potato dumplings and Schupfnudeln.

Very expensive beer garden if you have to get everything yourself, half a beer 5.50 is already at the limit, spare ribs over 18 € is exorbitant. Then it's better to go to wawi

A very family friendly beergarden. Definitely recommended for 3-7 year olds. It's located in the Forrest and very easy to reach by bike or car

Very nice place to sit with a playground. Unfortunately terrible food. The spaetzle for children could be thrown straight into the bin. Crusty roast also lower level. A pity.

Beautiful beer garden, just as you would imagine, with large trees that provide shade, good food and very family friendly! Of course, the children like the playground best. We have also always been lucky with the parking space available. We will stop here more often on our way through ;)

It's a nice beer garden for everyone. Children have a lot of fun here, nice playground. Actually a great place where you can easily get to by bike. The food is okay if you accept the slightly higher prices and aren't too picky. The beer tastes good.

Beautiful green space. Lots of tables well positioned in the shade, play area for children. The food is fantastic, the service very fast and the cost is low. You can use the catering service there or bring everything from home. Beautiful for a day with family or friends. A magnificent discovery... before leaving again.

Nach Essen war uns nicht Das damalige Essen hatte uns sehr enttäuscht. Uns wurde ein kostenloses Essen beim nächsten Besuch angeboten. Was bis heute uns nicht machbar gemacht worden ist.

The Kugler Alm offers a beautiful beer garden with a diverse selection of food and drinks. However, due to its popularity, you should allow enough time as it can take some time to get a seat and your food. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth visiting and staying in this beautiful place.

Es hat gepasst! Kinder unterwegs auf dem Spielplatz am Wald. . Die hatten ihren Spass In Ruhe gegessen. Hendl top. Da hat sich seit letztem Jahr etwas geändert. Sehr saftig. Brezn wie immer resch, wenn viel los ist Da wird regelmäßig neu aufgebacken. Mit Obazda und Radi dazu. Tip Top Schmalznudel, wärs süß mag. Frisch gemacht. Empfehlung. Very nice stopover if you are traveling by bike. Food okay (the pulled out/lard noodles are very delicious), drinks great, very nice staff. And the ambience is very pleasant because the whole beer garden is not too big. Clear recommendation!

Super nice atmosphere. Highly recommended, especially with children, large playground right next to the seating area makes relaxed beer gardening possible even with small children. Good value for money for food, although half of Munich cycles here on nice weekends, the prices have not yet reached the level of Munich beer gardens. Excellent!

Kugler Alm beer garden is a top location after work or on the weekend. Everything fits together here: the cozy atmosphere, friendly and fast service and delicious food. We'd love to come by again 😎👍🏼

Nice beer garden with a nice ambience. Easy to reach by car and bike. Of course there are not endless parking spaces. Also perfect for children, as there is a really nice playground. Of course nothing is cheap there, but not exaggerated either.

Very good beer garden. Spacious, has a large selection and is easy to reach by bike. I would especially recommend it for families with children aged 3 to 10 as it has a large playground.

We like to come here often, with the kids, after work or as a stopover while hiking. However, I now leave the beer garden again if I see a gentleman with a shaved head and no empathy or knowledge of gastronomy working in the restaurant. Possibly also due to poor language skills, but all of his colleagues are wonderfully refreshing and friendly. Even on days when it's not busy, this gentleman manages to ensure that not even the children want to order anything and we move on. It's a shame... Great beer garden otherwise

I have known the Kugler Alm beer garden since 1995 and I used to love it many times. Yesterday on April 14th, 2024 I was very disappointed, for €9.90 I got three quarters of a pint of beer, I waited an hour for a Steckerlfisch and in the end I didn't get one because I only had cash. As a replacement, I bought a literal portion of Obatzda for €8.0.

We like being here, the food is good, the people are friendly. Unfortunately, last year all the dog owners stole the dog bowls, so there is only a hidden, glued-up dog bowl behind the second cash register where no slightly insecure dog can drink in peace. Must be intentional. If you want to annoy anyone other than the guest, I don't understand. When we asked for some water, we were told no. We had to buy water for our dogs and then fed them in a plate in an emergency. I doubt whether that is really better. Apparently the others bring it themselves. Was very disappointing. That's not hospitable. A pity.

The ambience is nice. The food is bad. Chinese and English people - all non-locals - could feel comfortable in the typical Bavarian atmosphere. Real Bayern against somewhere else.

Simply good. 😀 If you like beer gardens, you should definitely visit this one. Great ambience, very tasty 😋 food and legendary "moved outs" at prices that are no longer cheap.

A really nice beer garden and great for children! The ambience itself is very pleasant. Unfortunately the food was really subpar. The vegan currywurst was quite okay, but the spaetzle with sauce was horrible and the spinach dumpling was also rather poor. Way too soft and hardly any taste. It's a shame because it's such a great place. So, bring your own food 😅

Einer der schönsten Biergärten im Großraum München! Viel Platz mit Sonne und Schatten, super Essen und ein großer Spielplatz für Kinder. Dazu super auch per Fahrrad durch den Perlacher Forst zu erreichen. Die Schmalznudel/Auszogne ist legendär!

Nettes Ausflugsziel alles luftig und schön. Beim bierzapfen sind sie nicht die schnellsten so dass am Wochenende längere Wartezeiten entstehen können

Ich habe den Biergarten besucht. Dieser hat sehr schöne Plätze. Die Sitzplätze befinden sich auf einer Wiese, aber auch auf Kies und es gibt Bierbänke mit Lehnen. Speisen kommen aus der Region und es wird auf Herkunft und Qualität geachtet, toll dafür zahlt man sehr gerne mal etwas mehr. Speisen können natürlich auch selbst mitgebracht werden. Es gibt einen großen Spielplatz neben dem auch direkt Sitzplätze sind. Ein wunderbares Ziel für einen Ausflug aus München mit Weg durch den Perlacher Forst. Ich war begeistert.

Für eine Familie mit Kindern - traumhaft :)

Das Essen haben wir selber mitgebracht, sonst haben wir die Getränke und Kaffee dort gekauft. Es ist nur zum Empfehlen! Es gibt sehr viele Tische mit Stühlen, oder mit Bänken. Die Toilette ist auch sehr sauber. Die Kinder haben da auch Spaß, weil mehrere Spielplätzen vorhanden sind. Es ist optimal für eine Familienausflug!

Super schöner Biergarten mit ganz viel Platz, große Auswahl an Speisen, Spielplatz vor Ort. Essen kann auch mitgebracht werden. Jedem zu empfehlen.

Schönes Ambiente an einer idealen Radelstrecke: geradeaus durch den Wald von München aus

Absolut super liebes Personal, vom Ausschank, zur Kassiererin, zum hübschen, sympathischen Abräumpersonal. Hier fühlt man sich sehr wohl und herzlich willkommen. Ich hatte meinen Autoschlüssel im Biergarten verloren. Dank dem super Team hatte ich ihn nach zwei Stunden wieder bekommen. Danke! Ich war sehr glücklich! Hier fühlt man sich wirklich sehr wohl. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen, vor allem die Schmalznudeln schmecken sehr gut. Die Plätze sind schön schattig und der Spielplatz groß.

Am Rande des Perlacher Forstes unter altem Baumbestand

War seit Jahren mal wieder dort. Für mich der beste Biergarten.

Sehr schöne Anlage und ideal gelegen für einen kleinen Ausflug mit dem Rad. Parkplatz dafür ist ausreichend vorhanden. Mit dem PKW kann es schon passieren dass man keinen Parkplatz findet. Der Spielplatz für die Kinder ist richtig schön und die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt. Bier gibt's Späten was etwas Geschmackssache ist und das Essen ist auch eher Standardkost plus ein paar Spezialitäten wie Steckerlfisch und Ochsenfetzen aber alles in allem ein sehr gutes Angebot. Wir kommen hier gerne mit Kind oder Freunden vorbei. Kinderstühle gibt's wohl seit einiger Zeit keine mehr vor Ort - besser selbst etwas einplanen. Auch ideal für kleine Feiern wenn man sich selbst den Picknick Korb packt.

Sehr gutes Essen und gepflegte Getränke - auch, wenn derzeit nur der Biergarten geöffnet ist.

Sicher eines der Ausflugsziele überhaupt für Radfahrer. Fünf Kilometer schnurgerade auf bestem Asphalt locken Horden von Radfahrern. Seltsamerweise keine Skater. Ist das in München out?

Sehr großer schöner Biergarten, leider hat das Personal deutlich nachgelassen, das Essen wird hingeklatscht, die Kassiererin mault rum wegen nix. Mitarbeiter Schulung? Heut ist wenig los, also auch kein Stress, warum dann so unfreundlich? Der Getränke Ausschank war freundlich wie immer.

Klasse Biergarten, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, stimmige Preise, immer wieder gerne. Speiseauswahl sehr vielfältig , vom Hähnchen bis zu Spareribs alles dabei.

Früher war die Kugler Alm ein toller Biergarten, auch heute ist das Ambiente schön. Leider begegnete uns sehr unprofessionelles, unfreundliches Personal, das Essen ist unterirdisch geworden. Convenience Food, wirklich ungenießbar. Die Mitarbeiter gehen weder auf Wünsche noch auf Anmerkungen bzgl. des Essens ein, das ist einfach nur unverschämt. Sehr schade, aber wir werden nicht wiederkommen und können den Biergarten auch nicht mehr weiterempfehlen.

Mit einer größeren Gruppe wollten wir gemütlich zusammen sitzen. Leider haben wir dafür die Biertische ein wenig verrückt. Der Besitzer hat uns während des Essens dann mehr als unfreundlich dazu gedrängt, dies wieder umzustellen. Dadurch war die komplette Stimmung dahin! Sehr schade, da dies absolut unnötig war. Zur Krönung haben wir dann auch noch gesagt bekommen, dass wir gerne NICHT nochmal kommen zu brauchen. Der Biergarten war mal gut, ist aber leider absolut unterirdisch geworden! Es gibt bessere/freundlichere Biergärten in der Gegend...

Der Biergarten ist so schön, aber die Essensausgabe ist dermaßen unfreundlich geworden, dass man nicht mehr hingehen möchte. Die Zwiebeln zum Obatzda werden nur unwillig und auf wiederholtes Bitten hin auf den Teller geklatscht….Schade-aber vielleicht spricht es sich rum und irgendwann verbessert sich wieder etwas.
