McDonald's in Wuppertal

The bacon tastes like it's been sitting in the corner for three years – simply disgusting. Maeckes just isn't what it used to be; it's just been slapped on like that, sadly.

My colleague was supposed to bring me two cheeseburgers for lunch. They were dried out and unappetizing. I haven't eaten at McDonald's since.

In the morning, things didn't go so well in the almost empty restaurant. The ordering computer was down. The wrong coffee was delivered with the comment that it was all the same anyway. The rolls were dry like yesterday's and the McMuffin was stale. Everything's better elsewhere... sorry, this time it was less than ideal.

We're used to McDonald's in Hilden, so maybe our expectations are too high. But today was really annoying! We were there for breakfast. We ordered a cappuccino, among other things, but the server brought us two caramel macchiatos. She refused to correct it, saying they were the same. After some discussion, we finally got the cappuccino, but unfortunately, she was in a terrible mood and slammed it down on the table. The burgers tasted stale, and the coffee was kind of burnt. Strange, considering the standards should be the same, right? Annoying.

I was there today and got myself a fillet of fish for the first time in ages…it was bone dry…the cookies were rock hard too…when I told the shift manager, she just said they were fresh…since I eat them often, I can say with 100% certainty that they weren't…the shift manager didn't offer any solution or alternative…it's just sad, considering that despite the prices, I used to enjoy going there…pizza costs less and at least you get full!!

I was at the restaurant yesterday, December 15th, 2025, around 4:00 PM. I ordered two large fries to go. When I got home, the fries were soggy and very oily. They looked like they weren't cooked properly. I ate them because I was hungry. However, the fact that I had stomach pains all night, and still do, is the reason I'm writing such a negative review. I also ordered a Big Mac, which this time had hardly any sauce on it, making the burger very dry. The restaurant was busy, but that shouldn't be an excuse for inconsistent and poor quality.

The McDonald's employees always forget my toy in the Happy Meal when I order it to go. Next time there'll be a 1v1 fight.

Can someone please stop making so much noise at McDonald's on Uellendahl at midnight? It's really getting worse and worse. Please understand, otherwise it will become a police matter. Keep it quiet!

My husband brought me a wrap from the drive-thru today, which I usually enjoy! Unfortunately, half of the wrap was filled with air. Extremely annoying. How can you give something like that to a customer? It's not like me to give a negative review, but in this case, I simply have no choice. Sorry! Absolutely unacceptable!

Disgusting employees! At least this morning! They should be ashamed of themselves! They couldn't find our online order and made fun of us and said stupid things! The order had already been paid for, and we had to leave without anything because they supposedly couldn't help it that they couldn't see the order! They're supposed to give us a refund, but we weren't allowed to reorder on the spot because the breakfast time was over by 2 (!!!!) minutes!!! That's really the worst!! The disgusting and amused looks the employees exchange with each other!! You'd never experience anything like that before.

What happened to McDonald's? Dark, unfriendly, and even the chocolate shake is inedible.

I've tried ordering my chai latte several times since last week, and I've always been told they don't have any chai latte... But why does it say that on the screen at the McDonald's Drive-In? And it's not as if I've never gotten one there before. Unfortunately, the employees there are very rude and didn't answer my question about when it would be available again... one even said it's never happened before... What now? Clearance sale, no longer in stock? Why can't you remain polite when asked politely? My last visit this weekend, although there was no chai latte for me, was the McDonald's incredibly dirty and sticky. A public restroom outside would have been clean compared to this one... What the hell is going on at this branch?

I received my order after 40 minutes. The people who ordered after me received their orders on time. When I asked them about it, they said they still had to wait. I've never experienced such poor staff.

Food was hot and prepared quickly

On the afternoon of September 14, 2025, I visited this branch. A blond, bespectacled manager was at the cash register. I had already placed my coffee order via the app and explicitly stated that I didn't want a paper cup. She replied that a glass cup would be issued automatically. Then an employee brought the coffees to my table. I explicitly repeated that I didn't want a paper cup, to which she replied that no clean glass cups were available. I was sitting in the back of the McCafé and said that clean cups were available there. The employee then made a mocking face, walked away, and told the manager about the situation. I explained that I felt like extras were always made here, unlike the branch on Wittener Straße, where the order always arrived correctly. The manager then came over and adopted a dismissive attitude, reprimanded me with gestures, told my mother and me to shut up, and then immediately brought the coffees, which I didn't want. She even told me to leave. However, I stayed because I was within my rights and expected decent service for my money. This behavior, the insults, and the treatment in front of other customers, including my child, were unacceptable. I subsequently deleted my McCafé app. For me, McDonald's is over from now on. Additionally, I always order my coffee in the app by the glass and pay more for it. Yet, I often get it in a paper cup.

Filthy shop!!! I'm surprised the public order office or the responsible authority hasn't shut this place down yet. All the tablets were filthy, with weeks of rubbish on them, the tables left unwiped. That's what happens when you cut staff. And the food was inedible. The fries were too cold, the Royal TS hamburger was squashed, cold and rancid.

The wait at the drive-thru was a disaster. Barely anything going on at 3:00 PM on a Saturday, and we waited 20 minutes at the drive-thru for a milkshake.

A large branch with plenty of employees. You get quick service, even at your table (with a table reservation). Clean and friendly!

The McDonald's on Uellendahlerstrasse has truly become the worst in the entire area. The drive-thru McDonald's was often out of stock. That's annoying enough. But what I experienced there today was the last straw. It started with the table we sat at being completely filthy, and I got my clothes dirty. My boyfriend then went to the counter and asked if someone could wipe the table. The little mouse pressed wipes into my boyfriend's hand. It was like, "Do it yourself." I'd almost finished my coffee by then. Then, unfortunately, I had to go to the bathroom. I almost threw up. The toilet seat in one toilet was completely covered in shit, and in the other toilet, the entire toilet seat was completely covered in piss. Ugh. Just disgusting. There was a thick layer of dust on the toilet paper holders. So, no one is cleaning that place regularly. My partner told me that the men's restrooms probably aren't any better. I asked myself: If the exact same hygiene standards apply to the food and the kitchen area, well then... I don't want to think about it anymore. I then went to the counter and explained it to the girl. She told me in all seriousness that she couldn't go and check it every 30 minutes. I then explained to her that the dust alone was at least two weeks old, and that I have different expectations of a restaurant, whether it's McDonald's or whatever, and that there are hygiene regulations, and asked if she was aware of them. And the place really wasn't full. But when you have to talk to your colleague all the time, you obviously don't have time for other things; the guests can do it themselves.

It's enough with the cars in the parking lot loud music it has become so bad best who if the mc Donalds in Uellendahl closes from 23:00

The tables are very dirty. They didn't bring the milkshake that was included in my order. I had to wait seven minutes at the checkout for my milkshake. I don't recommend visiting. While your friends are eating, you'll be waiting for part of your order. The staff isn't friendly.

I've been to this McDonald's several times, and the last four times, something was ALWAYS missing from my drive-thru order. So always check the orders. It's only difficult with larger orders, as there's usually more than one thing missing. The employee at the restaurant only understood half of what I mentioned over the phone regarding the missing items. Unfortunately, the fries were undercooked and soggy this time too. Maybe they should train the employees, because their job really isn't that difficult.

Very often, something is missing from the orders. If you go back, the only response you get is, "You could have checked everything at the front desk." Great customer service. Fries are often cold. Burgers are sometimes soggy. So, a normal McDonald's, which I only go to because the kids unfortunately love this fast-food garbage.

By far the slowest drive-thru in the entire region. No matter what time you arrive, and no matter how small your order, you'll be stuck in line for at least 20 minutes by car. The company's own concept is a complete disaster.

I don't go to McDonald's often, but when I do—like at this branch—there's almost always something to complain about. Mistakes can happen, I completely understand that and don't hold a grudge—but when it happens every time you visit, it eventually becomes frustrating. And when you then politely point out the mistake, they respond politely and fix it, but it doesn't always seem like they really want to address the problem. I just wish they were a bit more careful when checking orders—then the visit would be more relaxed for both parties. There's potential there, but unfortunately, consistency is lacking.

Every—really every time, with every slightly larger order; something gets forgotten! Every time. At this McDonald's, you really have to check every takeout order to make sure everything's there and half isn't missing... annoying.

Review for McDonald's, Uellendahler Straße 304, 42109 Wuppertal Unfortunately, my last visit to this McDonald's wasn't particularly satisfactory. The fries were already cold when they were served and seemed like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. The taste was disappointing. The wait time at the drive-thru was also unusually long – despite the restaurant's low occupancy. For a fast-food restaurant, you simply expect a faster service. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a positive experience. There's room for improvement in both product quality and service. 2 out of 5 stars.

It's just annoying that you ALWAYS have to check everything when you take out food. Once again, I packed the wrong burger and wasted my money.

Foreign woman hardly speaks German, pretends to be a branch manager (replaced very quickly) everything was packed up and she couldn't do anything about it! (Clearly a fraud case) People save yourself this branch on Uellendahler Straße and check your orders.

Too expensive, too slow and delicious was yesterday

Today was definitely the last time I was in this branch! Instead of a Royal TS menu, a McPlant menu was packed! Both the burgers and the fries and nuggets were lukewarm! In addition, €2.99 more was debited than would have been paid according to the coupons! In the future I will rather take my money to Burger King!!!

Worst McDonald's in the area! Eating cold fries without salt and always missing something. You can't even properly use a BigMac here. Take Bochum in the Ruhrpark as an example!!! Always fresh always hot but disgusting there. McDonald's isn't what it used to be either.

I noticed, that cleaning lady does her job extremely well. No surprise the whole restaurant is clean and cozy.

If you order via the app, the staff should also be able to pack the food correctly. But they aren't. Absolutely not recommended for McDrive, what you get packed is a matter of luck

In itself a modern McDonald. But the tables are really minimalistic and when you get up you often bump into the drink from the next table with your bottom! :p Otherwise, as with any McDonald's, there are pros and cons when it comes to food. (Sometimes the nuggets are extremely awesome and sometimes they are bland).

In the McDrive you only have to check the bag directly at the window, something is always forgotten here. But of course cashed in nicely. In the end it was my own fault, but it can't be that products are simply not packaged with such frequency, sometimes you could think that this is done on purpose.

Cold fries, old burgers just outrageous

The cashier was very nice and helpful with any problems with the application.

Ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, but I only got one double and one normal. When I complained, I was told that there was only a piece of meat missing (which isn't really true). Then the lady took my burger and slapped another piece of meat on it. “Now it’s true,” they said. And of course I didn't get an apology for the mistake.

Meet renovated and well managed

Great conditions and delicious drinks. But what's happening in front of the door is a total disaster. The whole parking lot is full, we had to park on the street. But there was almost nothing going on in the restaurant.

Unbelievable! How can you sell someone chicken nuggets even though you ordered plant based nuggets! This is just disgusting. Especially because it was expressly pointed out that you ordered plant based products after the receipt wasn't even printed out at the machine! The nuggets now end up in the trash. Something is always missing when I order something there, or I'm given the wrong one. Today I also ordered 32€ for me and my partner and instead of Shaker Fries they gave me normal ones even though the person in front of me also received Shaker Fries (which were probably mine)… I can't recommend the staff are definitely more focused in the city!

So I think that eating is not possible at all. Bread was hard and the fries were wobbly except for the sauce, which was good. There was no toilet paper in the toilet so I had to ask for toilet paper and the sink was totally clogged and there was hair on the edge of the sink totally disgusting!!! As soon as you enter the branch on Uellendahler Straße, you immediately notice that everything is right here. The branch is spacious and modernly furnished, which immediately creates a pleasant ambience. I was particularly impressed by the comfortable seating - you just feel comfortable here! I placed my order via the app and selected the “service at your seat” service. After just an astonishing three minutes, my meal was served complete and fresh. I was really impressed by the speed and efficiency. There is also the option of ordering at the terminals yourself. The operation is simple and intuitive, and you can put together your order at your leisure. There is also a drive-in. As usual, the menus are delicious and of consistently high quality. What I found particularly positive was that my order was prepared exactly the way I wanted it (drink without ice). In summary: This McDonald's branch offers everything you would expect from a quick, yet high-quality restaurant visit - from the modern furnishings to the lightning-fast service to the tasty food. It's always worth a visit!

Royal cheese - for this price you get that... Everyone can think of their part. The lady at the drive in wasn't really nice either. I rate the ambience neutrally because I wasn't there.

After a long time we felt like having a burger again. The child was also able to climb and slide a bit.

The priority is probably more on the outstanding orders and not on damage control or service. As a franchisor, I would think about what's wrong during recessions!

A very good McDonald's. The order was prepared quickly. Unfortunately, the cheese on the cheeseburger wasn't melted and I found some of it to be a bit cold. But it was still tasty. The staff was really nice. We recommend.

Generally everything is positive. As always, it is delicious and fresh and the restaurant also has a nice atmosphere with a very good location and also great opening times, which is very important. The only negative thing I found was that the staff and management could be friendlier and it's usually not clean either.

There's not much to say about a McDonald's. This branch serves breakfast and McCafe. There is also the option to sit outside with a slide for children and a digital games table inside. Unfortunately, the ordering terminals are as bad as almost always.

Well-known McDonald's in Wuppertal with a drive into a large parking lot and a large outdoor area (fenced). The inside area is also large and clean.

Absolutely bad business conduct, after 1:40 hours of waiting the order was simply canceled for no reason. This no longer has anything to do with serious gastronomy.

I ordered nuggets twice (on different days) and got meat both times.

Clean restaurant with great staff. Wish every branch was like this.
