McDonald's Restaurant in Wuppertal

Well, I was there today with my friends for dinner after a carnival party (we were dressed up). There was loud talk about my friend about how “hot” she would look. When she came out of the toilet, the employee and his other colleagues told her that also said personally. That was really very unpleasant. In addition, the curly fries, like nuggets, just tasted old and disgusting. Wuppertal itself is beautiful, but none of us will ever see the store again.

The burger was cold and doesn't look fresh

Unfortunately a long hair in the BigMac, totally disgusting, was very disappointing. You really lose your appetite.

First of all, I would like to clarify that overall the staff at this McDonald's is of good quality and the service is friendly. I actually have nothing to criticize about “people”. But that's exactly what underlines my real problem: This McDonald's is now like Germany - the "system is broken" and no matter how good the people are, they can no longer save it. Originally there were four old ordering kiosks in this McDonald's, and later four new ones were added. Actually, the new terminals work ten times faster than the old ones. But three of the four new order terminals have now failed, so only one is still working, but it no longer prints receipts. So you have to remember what you ordered or keep your order number in mind. Three of the old terminals are still in use, but one of them also doesn't print receipts, so customers have to remember their orders here too. This is how you see: If the system collapses into chaos, even the best team will no longer be of any help.

Last time the employee simply ignored the customers for a few minutes and cleaned up (worked after all)…

Not recommended. Massively understaffed, paying in cash is seen as a nuisance, there is another way to keep things clean. Then I'd rather leave my money somewhere else

This McDonald's is not very clean. You have to be careful where you sit, many seats are dirty.

I was there last week at Anatolia Geill's and had a pizza and it was really tasty. Plus the workers were cool and nice, I think it's good when I go out to eat there

What has been annoying me for years is the man at the toilet. Since he's been here, I hardly ever go there anymore. I used to go there just to go to the bathroom and then it became a menu that I bought. This guy turns normal peeing into a customs job, a search to get into the White House, like you're a heavily armed gangster on the Mexican border. Dude, I just want to pee. Getting across the German borders is easier than going to the toilet at McDonald's. I don't want to be forced to spend a fortune on something that shouldn't cost anything. And since the menus have already become unaffordable and always give me diarrhea because it's simply inferior stuff, I just don't go there anymore because the 50 cents on top are really too much for me.

I’d say this is your usual McD. experience. Quick preparation times, usual selection. Friendly staff, not the most clean, but okay. Has a kids corner, a Mc Café and ordering machines (of which a few don’t work). It’s a bit loud, but I guess that is to be expected. If you want McDonalds. It’s as good as any other.

The machines don't work properly and orders are sent out incorrectly. An ice cream with chocolate lentils and caramel was ordered, we got it with peach sauce, instead of giving new ice cream, caramel sauce was put over it. Dangerous for people with allergies.

First of all, as always, it is very tasty and fresh. The staff was also friendly and nice and the restaurant also has a nice atmosphere with a great location in the middle of the city, which I find very, very important. What is also important are the opening times, which are super good. So in general everything is positive and therefore everything is ok. A great restaurant.

It is always a lot going on. This means the business can quickly become messy BUT I always see someone working on it. Everyone is super nice and customer-oriented. I already know a few McDonald's. From Cologne via Koblenz to Trier. This is by far the best. From the server and team, all business should be like this.

This is by far the dirtiest McDonald's we have ever been to, everyone had extreme stomach aches and diarrhea afterwards. The whole table was dirty and the floor was really dirty and sticky. So if you're in the mood for a gastrointestinal meal then this McDonald's is the right place for you.

Never again ! The food there is very tasty and recommended, but as soon as you want to ask the staff a question, they do NOT let you finish, they do NOT listen carefully and are NOT familiar with what is on offer, whether through the mobile app or without! Nice new Mäckes, food is good, service at the bottom drawer, I drove 15 km one way, ordered food at the terminal, and specifically asked if everything was in it, YES it was. When we got home, the sauces for the nuggets and a Bigmac were missing. I wanted to call there, it didn't work, only the area code was on the receipt, they're not stupid, they do that to 10 customers a day and they've already got €60 in their pocket. But I'll come by again and then God bless you.

Nobody has time in this shop, it's all about sales and the food is therefore average, certainly nothing more. It's also very loud.

A bit disappointing: menu extra due to... Ordered glow-in-the-dark glass and then the glasses ran out! Unfortunately, this was not indicated on the display and not on the terminal either. If we had known this sooner, we would have eaten something different! Otherwise it was Meckes as usual.

I've had this opinion for years that this is one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to and it's confirmed every time I visit. The food is typical McDonald's, there's nothing wrong with it. That's OK. The kiosk machine for ordering is absolutely old. Adding a burger takes what feels like forever. I wanted to add a cola, but after 30 seconds of loading I got an error message. Tried 3-4 more times, always the same. You cannot pay contactless. No receipt was then printed because there was no paper... I don't know of any other McDonald's that has these old machines. Invest in your store! Ordering went relatively quickly yesterday because I was the only one waiting. But it also happened before that I waited over 30 minutes for my food, and not just once! And then the order was often wrong, but they then corrected it. And there weren't many people waiting. If you're pressed for time and want something quickly, it's better not to go here.

Ordered from Lieferando, waited 50 minutes and then they claimed the order had been delivered, which it wasn't! The Lieferando employee said there was a problem with the restaurant and then the order was simply canceled. Absolute disgrace for this restaurant to lie so boldly.

The scanners in the new ordering terminals have not been working since the beginning and have been for months. Apparently they don't want to fix that either. Contactless payment is not possible with the old terminals.

Unfriendly... you don't respond to your wishes. You tell the employee who speaks broken German and barely understands you... that you want to eat the hamburger royal ts without onions because you are allergic... The food came... I ate the fries and then decided to eat the 🍔 burger. I opened my burger and wanted to add ketchup sauce to my. I then discover that the onions have been pulled out and a juicy curl of hair was sticking out of the corner of my burger... what do you think I put on it? Of course I complained and they boot me a new menu. I politely declined because something like that spoils my hunger and my stomach at the same time... what if I haven't opened the burger, for example? Without knowing, would the burger taste good with the curly hair? And these filled onions.... Allergy is not without it. I mean, some allergies can even lead to death... in any case, I really don't believe in negative feedback, but something like that was too much of a good thing for me so I'm now letting my anger out freely and at the same time I want to complain.... such unreliable employees have no desire to do their work for people who are hungry and buy food and only want good service, unfortunately there is nothing to feel or taste here!!!! But it was sad that I only give McDonalds in downtown Essen 1 star, which is already too much!!! I won't be coming back!!

Für eine Filiale dieser Größe und in Wuppertal sauber. Bestellung war leider nicht komplett und falsch, ich musste nochmals zur Abholung, den Rest holen.

Ein Standard McDonalds. Man bekommt schnell was man bestellt und es schmeckt.

Daher habe ich muss ca. 5 Minuten auf die Bestellung warten müssen. Alles in allem echt gut. Und die Wartezeit konnte ich in einer sehr angenehmen Umgebung verbringen.

Essen wie immer. Ambiente typisch. Mitarbeiter auf Zack. Kamen mit einer Gruppe von 25 Leuten. Waren in 30 min wieder draußen inkl. Essen.

Da muss man mal für Ordnung sorgen , bei gewissen Kunden , ansonsten gut bis auf die etwas längere Wartezeit.

McDonald's bietet schnellen Service, freundliches Personal und eine vielfältige Auswahl. Die Sauberkeit im Restaurant ist beeindruckend. Ein Minuspunkt für meinen Besuch war, dass der Desinfektionsspender leer war, was in Zeiten erhöhter Hygiene wichtig ist. Trotzdem bleibt McDonald's eine zuverlässige Wahl für eine schnelle Mahlzeit mit angemessenen Preisen.

Essen ist ok. Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett aber leider etwas überfordert. Es kam schon sehr oft vor das bei unseren Bestellungen immer etwas fehlte oder falsch war.
