McDonald's in Calw

I have to say, and I mean this seriously, in my opinion this is the best McDonald’s in Baden-Württemberg that I have been to so far. I think the building is modern, the food feels “cleanly” prepared (if you know what I mean) and the staff is very nice too.

Sometimes very long waiting times. Also with McDrive. “Fast” food works differently

Things have looked friendlier since the renovation

Newly remodeled in October 2024. Slightly small parking lot. Sometimes longer waiting times. Ordering possible via app. Inside there are also the usual machines for ordering. In the parking lot there are two HPC charging points for electric cars with CCS plugs.

Despite the lack of activity, employees seem totally overwhelmed, drinks have recently been prepared and placed on an open shelf without a lid and instead of 2 cheeseburgers, 2 chicken burgers ended up in the bag, the children don't want to eat because of the spiciness.

The food was good as usual. But the new design after the renovation just looks cheap...

Absolute disaster since the renovation. There are endless waiting times and the food is cold. I'm going to Heimsheim now. It always tastes good! I don't come here anymore.

How can you confuse mayo with ketchup???? If you order 3 times mayo at the drive-thru, it will also be registered. In the end we see far too late that the incompetence is at such a high level and they simply slap ketchup in instead of mayo.

They would have rather demolished the store than rebuilt it! 90% of the staff cannot speak German. Every order is incorrect and vouchers no longer work since the renovation!

Despite the new renovation, unfortunately it was still a total disaster from ordering to delivery. Taking the order was catastrophic, employees speak poor German, and when you point out problems to them they become unfriendly and bully you! You can't even redeem the existing coupons here and for 5 days you have been assured that it will work again tomorrow... In addition, things were mixed up and forgotten. So unfortunately there is absolutely no improvement, other fast food providers have this much better under control

The best McDonald's I've ever been to

As far as McDonald's is concerned, I think the food is ok. Service is actually okay, although at the time of the review October 4th, 2024 it is being remodeled, but the app still accepts orders. This is cheese and leads to unnecessary driving. Ambience is typical McDonald's. So far it's clean, but I wouldn't move in with my wall unit. Let's see what it looks like after the renovation.

We are more than disappointed with this store, I'm not the kind of person who doesn't give you a second chance, but we've already ordered something there to pick up a few times or ordered directly from MC Drive and always, really always something was missing. We usually did a check on site but unfortunately not always. Then you don't even get your money back but only a voucher so you are forced to go there again. Sorry but it's really not our store anymore.

“Warning: suspected rip-off” 😜 Today the family once again treated themselves to the regular monthly calorie sin. I was a bit surprised at the price for our standard menu (4 people) compared to previous months. Ultimately, the customer pays 7.5% more for our standard menu with the franchisee of the Calwer McDonalds branch compared to the franchisee of the Heimsheim, Leonberg and Böblingen branches. Only in Nagold do the same increased prices apply as in Calw, as the operator is the same. You can easily understand this using the McDonalds app. Since when has this been the case? I just noticed it today. Background: the franchisor (possibly McDonalds Germany) probably only gives an RRP for the products. The respective franchisee is allowed to set his own sales prices. On the way back from our summer vacation this year, we paid significantly more for our standard menu (Illertissen branch). Otherwise: the products we sell are mostly good. We find the staff to be very friendly, attentive and quick. The interior ambience is currently suffering somewhat due to an upcoming renovation...perhaps that is also the reason for the price increase? Pure speculation on my part 😬. Because of the convenient location for me, I still say “see you next time.” However, I reserve the right to adjust our visit frequency 😁.

It took forever for the (almost cold) burgers to be at the table. There were no more paper towels either... 👎

I ordered some cheeseburgers and a McChicken menu here. The fries were freshly made and surprisingly tasty. Despite the store being full, the service was very quick, which is a positive thing. Unfortunately I have to deduct a few points from the ambience because it wasn't clean. It was also very noisy as there were lots of small children screaming which made the stay uncomfortable. I would recommend taking the food to go and eating somewhere else rather than staying at the eatery.

So this will be the last time I've been here. A complete waste of time. I wait 15-25 minutes for my food every time...even if it's only 2 cheeseburgers!

The food is delicious, but I have the feeling that the burgers are getting smaller and smaller but more expensive. Nevertheless, we like to go to McDonalds every now and then. Tables unfortunately sticky.

My second and last visit to this store. On my first visit I waited 35 minutes (for two drinks!) and the second time I waited around 15 minutes even though there wasn't much going on. The staff is totally listless and/or overwhelmed. In addition, the ladies at the counter obviously don't even speak German well. After asking twice about oat milk, I was too stupid and left. You could at least know the products you sell.

For the fourth time the order isn't correct. I thought I'd try it again after 2 months, but then I can't anymore, and it's not clear at first glance that it's not correct. I ordered the Big Mac Bacon TS and got a double. I doubt anyone is reading this, in case that was the last time I ate at this establishment.

Went there today, ordered things to take away because everything was full. As soon as we got home, we unfortunately discovered that 1 Bic Mac was missing (order 216).

Fully meets the requirement. Fast service and good food. Of course you have to check the order and contents, but you have to do that in every McDonald's or fast restaurant.

I am a regular stand customer, and today I have to give a big compliment to the manager in Calw, Mr. Ali, a real host, always with a big laugh, every time I come, the sun rises, Mr. has open eyes as a manager, you can see how he really appreciates and leads his fellow human beings, a spiritual care behind the McDonald's corner 🤗 behind every happy employee there is valuable leadership, staff always quick and friendly, food very, very tasty, thanks to all McDonald's members in Calw who make this space possible, even with one Laughing in your face ☀️🙏🙏🙏

Over the years, no more fast food and more low food. It takes forever to get your food if you can call it food.

They always forget something, either sauces or whole burgers. At least 3 out of 10 orders go wrong.

Service seems chaotic, I noticed that customers repeatedly had to request missing things when ordering tables. Today the ordering terminal worked without any problems, otherwise it was often broken.

I waited forever on Mc Drive. No Answer. Then I drove forward. They couldn't take my order there either. Then I ordered from the restaurant. They then forgot my fries there. Bad performance.

Well, it's a McDonald's, the Mc Drive lady was very nice. The vegan chicken is delicious, conveniently located

By far the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever been to, there wasn't a clean table. But there wasn't much going on, you could have cleaned.

The food was very good and fresh...the staff was too hectic and only focused on this due to an upcoming event. We were sent from A to B because we were only allowed to sit in certain places because of the event and then we were sent to the wrong place and had to move again........the same thing happened to other guests.. ...that's rude...we won't go there anymore.

As a vegetarian you are really lost. Exactly 1 nugget out of 20 was McPlant, the rest were “real”… That’s not possible.

Be careful with Mc Drive!!! You definitely have to check your order here. Today it happened for the 3rd time that a part of the order was missing. Twice it was a cheeseburger, today it was the Hamburger Royal Cheese. Very annoying because you have to drive back from home to file a complaint. Luckily, when I reported the complaint, the hamburger was handed over to me without any fuss. Thanks for the apology and the quick insight. But there is still significant room for improvement here.

In the MCDrive you have to look at your order carefully, there are often some things missing. When you eat in a restaurant, something went wrong, you paid for extra meat and didn't get it. We wanted to speak to the boss, but he made no effort to speak to us. No interest in customer feedback or anything like that.

For me, McDonald's is a reliable place when it comes to quick and tasty food. The atmosphere is typical of a fast food chain, but the friendly staff and clean facilities make the visit pleasant. What I particularly appreciate is the consistency in the quality of the food. The burgers are always freshly prepared and the fries are nice and crispy. My personal favorite is the Big Mac, which always tastes good. Prices are fair for what you get and service is usually quick. Overall, McDonald's offers a solid experience for a quick meal. Five stars from me!

Toilet like the last pub. No matter which McDonald's they smell, they always stink

You wait forever in the drive-in and somehow we always had problems with our stomachs last time...this place has become so bad...we definitely won't be coming back. It's always easy to drive in 20 minutes. The record was already over 1 Hour...that has nothing to do with fast food anymore...

Something seems to be going wrong in the processing of orders for 2 months. This was the third order in a row that was handed over to me incomplete at the drive-thru. Once an MC Crispy was missing, then 6 pieces of chicken nuggets and yesterday both 6 pieces of chicken nuggets, ketchup, mayonnaise and sweet and sour sauce were missing. A total goods value of approx. €15. Nobody is perfect and mistakes can happen. But not 3 times in a row. It is disappointing and extremely annoying to arrive home with an incomplete order. After all, it was paid for. The missing items have been listed and calculated on the invoice and the order summary. Either there is a technical problem or it is poorly controlled. I therefore recommend checking the order for completeness on site. Then it's not too late to claim the missing things.

Just like you know from McDonalds. With McCafe. I like coming here. In summer you can sit outside. However, there is a lot of traffic around. If you don't mind the noise, you can look at the cars driving by. The access to the drive-in was quite good considering the narrow conditions. However, there may be obstructions in the parking area if the number of visitors is too high.

As always, arrived home and half of it was missing...that's so annoying that you weren't able to give out a complete order once. Everyone should avoid eating.

Zum Essen muss man bei McDonald's wohl kaum was sagen. Wirklich gesund wird wirklich schwierig. Bin durch den McDrive. Sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter, kurze Wartezeit. Mit dem Handy (Visa) zahlen wie immer kein Problem. Da könnten sich andere Läden teilweise noch etwas abgucken.

Obwohl sonntags wirklich gut besucht, gab es einen rasend schnellen Service für unsere Menüs. Perfekt war, dass die Apfeltaschen dauerten und perfekt als Dessert geliefert wurden. Auch hier vermisse ich immer die britische Variante, Apfeltasche mit Vanilleeis/Softeis...

Wer von einem stressigen Tag eine Entschleunigung erfahren möchte ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben. Der MC Drive ist absolut der langsamste den ich bei MC Donalds kenne. Auch wenn wenig los ist, kann man hier gut und gerne 20 min einplanen. Anmerkung, heute wurde mal das Fleisch Patty beim Big Tasty vergessen, lecker Brötchen mit Salat und Soße 👍

Essen wie gewohnt bei McDonalds. Service ist gut. Mitarbeiter sind überwiegend nett. Leider ist die Einrichtung durch Vandalismus zum Teil beschädigt. Finde es sehr schade, dass es Leute gibt, die anderer Leute Sachen kaputt machen. Muss das sein?

Ich besuche diesen Mc Donalds seit er Eröffnet hat. Es wird leider fast immer etwas vergessen (McDrive). Sei es die Soße für die Pommes oder Sonderwünsche wie zb ohne Tomaten, wird selten beachtet. Nach Erhalt der Bestellung immer kontrollieren! Und wenn man im McDrive bestellt, hat man meistens auch nur eine halb gefüllte Packung Pommes. Vor Ort sind die Pommes Packungen immer voll gefüllt aber im McDrive nicht, weil man es durch die Verpackung nicht sofort sehen kann? wer weiß.... Sauberkeit und Funktionalität der Toiletten lässt auch immer wieder zu wünschen übrig.

Es könnte etwas sauberer sein, außerdem sind die Wartezeiten wirklich etwas lange gewesen, obwohl fast keine Gäste da waren. Die Bestellung war ansonsten perfekt und frisch. Es hat nichts gefehlt und alles war dabei, das bekommen andere Filialen so leider nichtmehr hin.

5 Leute sind im laden muss 14 Minuten warten und das Essen war kalt

Essen kalt... Alles! Tische alle dreckig und die wenigsten abgeräumt... Tablet-Ablage bzw. Mülleimer alles voll und somit nicht nutzbar! Leider hier in Calw beim MC Donalds fast immer so!

Letzter McDonalds ever. Preise und Auswahl sowieso ein Witz. Dazu lange Wartezeiten obwohl kaum betrieb. Produkte fehlen und kalt. Wenn ihr kein Bock habt eure Arbeit richtig zu erledigen, dann bleibt doch bitte einfach Zuhause! Wir arbeiten für unser Geld und erhalten dann so ein dreck von euch.

Der Lieferant war nett und das Essen prinzipiell gut, die Pommes waren nur kaum gewürzt (Ambiente lässt sich wegen Lieferung nicht wirklich bewerten)

Obwohl wir sehr spät (1Uhr) dort waren war es noch sehr voll...dadurch ein wenig chaotisch aber trotzdem sehr nettes Personal

Der einzige Grund, warum ich diesen Müll an Essen essen musste, war, dass kein anderer Ort so spät in der Nacht geöffnet hatte. Das nächste Mal bleibe ich lieber hungrig

Heute mal wieder im Calwer MC Donald Es war wenig los. Trotzdem mussten alle Gäste ewig warten. Bei uns waren es 23 Minuten. Das Essen war dann noch durchweg kalt. Es war keine Servietten dabei. An einen Terminal ging das EC-Cash nicht, was passieren kann. Man könnte es aber deutlich kennzeichnen und nicht nur auf dem EC-Terminal ein kleiner kleber. Echt traurig. Immer wieder schlechte Erfahrungen in Calw. Leider interessiert es dort niemand.

Wir waren gestern mit unseren 2 von drei Kindern im McDonald's und haben alle die ganze Nacht den Eimer umarmt. Unser grosser Sohn war ein paar Stunden später mit seinem Kumpel und dessen Mutter auch da und denen ging es genauso.

Nicht viel los aber 20 Minuten aufs Essen warten geht gar nicht!!

Bekomme mein Essen immer kalt irgendwie als würde es schon ne halbe Stunde rumliegen und wenn es Richtung Abend geht sieht der MC wie eine Müllkippe aus die Gäste sind richtige Schw… lassen alles liegen und das Personal kommt kaum hinterher

Ich war dort wegen meiner Tochter. Eine richtige Katastrophe, Musik viel zu laut, Dreck liegt überall essen papier auf Boden, Tische und Bänke dreckig und zerkratzt nicht aufgeräumt. Essen fasse ich nicht an seit Jahre. Versprochen NIEMALS

Leider nicht so sauber wie ich es gewohnt bin. Einige Automaten zum bestellen oft defekt. Essen war wie gewohnt ok.

Parkplatzsituation sehr schwierig, da viel zu klein. Aussenanlage ein Witz, fast nichts da. Lange Wartezeit am Drive-In. Aber: sehr freundliche und ruhige Dame bei der Bestellannahme und das Essen war super warm und sehr lecker. Das ist das wichtigste.

Massenabfertigung mit Hilfe von Technik , wahnsinnige Preise. Das Personal muss man sagen, war trotzdem freundlich.

Katastrophe! Toiletten sind dreckig. Boden so klebrig dass man kaum laufen kann, Personal unfreundlich, beschränkte Auswahl an „gerichte“.

Ein McDonald's wie jeder andere auch. Ich habe aber den Eindruck, dass die Leute hier etwas gelassener waren.

In diesem Mc Donalds arbeiten nur Leute die wahrscheinlich zu dumm sind ihren Kopf zu nutzen alles falsch ausgegeben Cheeseburger bestellt ohne alles mit allem bekommen ….Milchshake schmeckt nach Kuhpisse mit Zucker und das ist nicht das erste mal die sollen dicht machen
