We were looking for a restaurant that had both a classic authentic feel and with great authentic food. Researching online, we were recommended this location. It lived up to our expectations. We did sit in a corner “behind” the bar. For more atmosphere, I would have preferred to sit with the bar visible. Price was great too. It will take a long walk or trip with the S-bahn to get here from the center, but it’s worth it.

A great restaurant in the heart of Munich. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and quick. The prices were completely reasonable. The quantity was insane, with portions so large that it was almost enough for two.

We ate here every day of our three-day stay because it was simply delicious and cozy. Our children also wanted to come back every evening. The kids' menu was great at reasonable prices, and the adults were also completely satisfied.

I haven't been a guest at the inn yet and, based on my experience with the service, I definitely never will be. Last Friday my mother-in-law was out with my two-year-old son in the Ruhr when he got severe stomach pain, wouldn't stop crying and didn't want to ride his balance bike anymore. My mother-in-law then asked in the restaurant in question whether she could store the walker bike in the inn for about an hour, as there was no way she could carry both of them home. The employee then replied that this was only possible for paying guests. He saw how desperate my mother-in-law was with my crying child in her arms and then became rude when she dared to ask if she could leave the bike for just a short while. I think that's an absolute nonsense and a reason for me never to want to be a guest there. She was then allowed to store the bike in the police station.

Very cozy atmosphere, delicious food (German and regional cuisine and some for <20€), friendly service, what more could you want?

Gladly again. Great bed. Only a heater in the bathroom would be desirable. Everyone was super nice, bravo. And I highly recommend the food!!
