I, Tharun Mathew from Abu Dhabi, had a very bad experience at Asiagourmet Rathaus Pankow today (March 26, 2025) at 3 p.m. My wife went to eat, and I was on the phone. She took her food and went to the cash register. She asked the counter staff member if they accepted card payments. The staff member then shouted at her and told her to sit at the table. I heard all this on the phone. Afterward, she went to pay, and the same staff member shouted at her, "Are you blind or something? Do you have eyes to see what is returned at the cash register?" All the customers witnessed this incident as the staff member shouted at my wife. My wife cried, paid the amount, and left the store without taking the food. (If I'm wrong, management can review the CCTV footage.) I feel so petty about what happened today. This is how you treat a customer??? Treating your guests with respect, kindness, and promptness should be your top priority. Have you ever seen a customer cry while eating? It's the biggest sin.. Please train your staff to greet guests with a warm smile and a friendly attitude, making them feel welcome and appreciated the moment they walk in the door. If you work in the restaurant industry, you know that each of your guests is valuable. Customers keep restaurants running, and they can make or break your business. When people come to your restaurant, you want them to have a good experience that leaves them happy and wanting more. Also, you want them to keep coming back so they continue spending money with you! I was extremely sad when my wife left your shop and started crying on the street, which is why I am posting this here. Please make sure this doesn't happen to your next customer.
I placed my order at 1:00 PM. I received an acknowledgment, but I haven't received a delivery confirmation yet. No one is available by phone! I find this sad for a restaurant or Chinese takeaway. Either they offer delivery or they remove it from their website!
Very tasty food. We had number 47 (fried sushi), number 6 with duck and number 8 with beef. We were very satisfied.
The “restaurant” is more like a snack bar 😅.
Only cash payment is possible here, but that's not a bad thing.
