Very good location and very good food (sauerbraten). The price is on the higher side, but not necessarily recommended in warm weather due to the location right in the center as it gets very hot.

Typical inn with delicious Bavarian food and beer. But there are vegetarian and vegan dishes. The service was quick and friendly. There is also a lunch menu. Absolutely recommended!

Our waiter was grumpy from arrival until we left. Not a smile or a question if our food was good. She misunderstood our order and therefore brought the wrong food. Seemed disinterested in what was going on and ruined our experience. There is generally a lot of noise when the room is full and definitely a place I would avoid with smaller children. I would come again if there were no other options…. The only positive was their spetsle was super good.

Service is ok, cheese spaetzle were good, but the cabbage donuts were not (doughy, without roasted color) and overall quite expensive.

We came here because we wanted wild and heard that wild is served there. Very tasty food. Salad was very large. And the deer goulash was excellent, in my opinion the bread dumplings could use more salt or the water and parsley, otherwise it was very tasty. See you next time.

Restaurant located in a modern street in Augsburg (Augsburg) and looks like a classic German beer hall. Good food, excellent beer and friendly, professional service; in particular, we were looked after by a very good Italian waiter from Turin. Prices are in line with other similar establishments in the city, around 25 euros each for a dish and a draft beer. It is a place that is definitely worth a visit if you are in town. Thank you!

Had a steak with a burgundy sauce and spetzle, I can’t remember the name of the actual dish as it was in German, but it was really delicious. Very traditional spot with an extremely impressive beer list. Would highly recommend.

Centrally located Bavarian inn serving Munich Augustiner beer. Great delicacies menu, the best seller on the menu: onion roast (one of the best I've ever had - and I've had many!). Get a place easily, even without a reservation. Very friendly and fast service. If you have several people in tow, you should make a reservation. Recommendation!

Not a comprehensive review as I only had a drink and dessert. This was very good and I can only praise the service. The only drawback is the acoustics. It was loud as everyone fled indoors because of the rain.

Since my children had a huge appetite for dumplings with sauce after a long visit to the pediatrician, I looked for a restaurant with Bavarian cuisine online and came across "Das Wirtshaus unter dem Bogen" on Annastrasse. Our service specialist Vladi was super friendly and also very funny. My two children really enjoyed the potato dumplings in sauce. I had Wienerschnitzel with fried potatoes and cranberries and a salad. The schnitzel was very tender and totally delicious, as were the fried potatoes. The salad was fresh and the dressing went very well. Big praise to the kitchen crew and the service. We will definitely come back again.

Traveling with family in Augsburg in the afternoon and decided on a spur of the moment to go to this inn. Since our father is in a wheelchair, there weren't exactly many seats available. We were allowed to sit at a large table where two people were already sitting. The food was simply fantastic! Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the afternoon even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

The food was very tasty, the service was friendly despite the extremely full house. It was very loud upstairs, but also nice. Tradition and modernity beautifully combined. The toilets were very clean and nice.

They have lunch for 12.90 with salad or soup, main course (today cordon bleu with fries) and also an espresso. Plus a whole list of beers.

Wir haben unseren diesjährigen Betriebsausflug mit über 100 Personen bei einem gemeinsamen Mittagessen im Wirtshaus Unter dem Bogen ausklingen lassen und waren mehr als zufrieden! Der Service war ausgezeichnet, die vorherigen Absprachen funktionierten problemlos und das Essen hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt, es gab auch im Nachgang viel Lob. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a lovely evening outside. The Augustiner Hell on tap is always very tasty. We had the Gustl burger five times with different cooking levels, which were queried, and once wild mushroom risotto. Everything was super delicious. Our waitress was attentive and always had a quick answer to our sayings. A successful evening. Always happy to come to Augsburg.

This restaurant has a terrace on a pedestrian only street. It was full so we repaired inside and we found it to be cozy. We had an excellent risotto with mushrooms and grilled vegetables. The spaetzle with cheese was also very good and came with a great mixed salad. We were too full for dessert! The service was very friendly and attentionate..

Top experience, our expectations were exceeded. Onion roast and Kaiserschmarrn are highly recommended. There were six of us traveling through. Our waitress, Vladi, was very accommodating and always available for any concerns. There was also a chat with the cook at a later hour. There was a much appreciated schnapps on the house. Thank you for the cozy evening in a Bavarian atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

What I thought was really great was to see that this inn had a barrier-free entrance!!! You don't often find that in Augsburg. The food was super delicious and very tasteful. It was very lovingly and beautifully prepared. All the waitresses were extremely friendly and accommodating. There was a lot going on that day. All the waitresses still remained calm.

Looking for lunch during our stopover in Augsburg, we found it in the inn under the arch. Since the restaurant was full, we were offered seats at the regulars' table. The first positive point of our visit was that we weren't just sent away, but that they tried to find a place for us. Overall, the service deserves a full five stars because we received very friendly and courteous service. The waiting times between ordering, serving the food and paying were also pleasantly short. In addition to Bavarian-Swabian classics, a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes are also offered. We chose the Swabian plate and the avocado noodles and were completely satisfied with both the taste and the appearance.

You really have to praise the service: After a fair criticism about the taste of the asparagus cream soup, they reacted very openly and immediately offered various alternatives.
