Thuringian home cooking - very tasty, home-style. Roulade and dumplings are great. Service very friendly. No long waiting times. Parking difficult.

Anyone who has been here will be happy to come back. We have never been disappointed. Anyone who likes schnitzel will even learn to love it. A great place for body and soul.

We were eating there. Service friendly and attentive. Food was very good. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately, parking spaces are a bit tight.

Es wurde uns im Vorfeld viel Gutes berichtet...aber leider waren wir enttäuscht...bei meinem vegetarischem Gericht fehlte das Salz gänzlich und war etwas abgekühlt....mein Mann hatte sich für das Eusbein entschieden....viiiiiel zu groß und teilweise das Fleisch trocken....Ambiente war gut, leider nicht so gemütlich wie das alte "Alt Waren"...Bedienung freundlich...Getränke lecker....aber wir müssen nicht noch einmal wiederkommen....viel Glück für die Zukunft

Food great, service flop. The food here is really good, fresh, tasty, not overpriced, I can only say good things about it. AAABER the service...oh dear. As soon as it gets fuller, food is forgotten and drinks aren't refilled because no one has time to take proper care of the guests, which is a shame. But what's really bad is the attitude of some employees, you immediately feel bad when you ask for a second napkin, that the good guy didn't roll his eyes, that's all. Especially the "younger" smaller man on the terrace has an impossible way of dealing with guests. You don't actually want to come back, despite the really good food. A pity.

Great location, quick and friendly service, the food may be judged by others (20€ for a Viennese style schnitzel or a few cheese spaetzle 16€ is slightly off), we only had something to drink. Prices are still moderate, but the small lake view makes up for it all. The large interior also feels cozy, although it can get a little louder when there are a lot of visitors But you always like to come back here for a cool refreshment

Typisch kölsche Spezialitäten im Brauhaus-Stil. Küche haben wir schon besser in anderen Brauhäusern erlebt. Aber war auch nicht schlecht - eher Durchschnittlich.
