Excellent and always timely communication beforehand, and the food and service are truly first-class. A lovely traditional restaurant in the heart of Ulm. It's also worth noting that they take very good care of children.

We went for lunch yesterday, ordering from the daily specials. There's nothing to complain about: excellent value for money. Excellent service, very friendly and attentive. The food and quality of the food are top-notch. Clean facilities and restrooms. Unfortunately, we had parking issues, but overall, it's absolutely recommended and we'll be happy to return.

Friendliness and flexibility are paramount. The guild hall is very well located and offers plenty of space. The food and service leave nothing to be desired.

Inn with centuries-old tradition and the associated furnishings. Swabian 🍽 cuisine! I think it's important that it's open all day long from late morning until the evening, and not just at lunchtime and in the evening! 👍 So you can also stop in the afternoon just for a 🍺 drink, for example as a rest while visiting the old town, especially the fishing quarter. We also serve outdoors.

Since we were able to redeem a birthday present with a good meal, we chose the Ulm, Fischerviertel area. This restaurant was highly recommended to us. A reservation via a designated platform was necessary and worked quite well. Simply stopping by and relying on your luck probably doesn't work here. The menu is only two pages long, but there is also a large daily menu and currently also asparagus dishes. The four of us quickly found what we were looking for on the daily menu. The selection of beers was good and everyone found their favorite drink. The food was very tasty. The atmosphere here is also great. You should see this for yourself. So we spent two lovely hours there so that we could tackle the following program points of our excursion with greater strength. The food here isn't exactly cheap, as it's upscale. You should know that. But the standard menu can also be downloaded in advance. This makes it easy to see whether a visit is suitable or not. We all found the price/performance ratio absolutely OK. We'd love to come back.

Swabian cuisine, fine, fresh and finely prepared. We were there last fall, the pumpkin soup and the goulash were great, as were the Maultaschen and the onion roast with cheese spaetzle. The service was “on point” and a very nice atmosphere. All individual categories 4.5 - therefore 5 points

Not everyone seems welcome. After we politely asked for a place for two, the bar lady only responded with an unfriendly “no”. When I asked if there was anything available later, I also answered “No”. It's strange when the restaurant inside is half empty. Not exactly respectful treatment of customers. Two friendly sentences of information might help. Then someone else earned our money.

Excellent Swabian cuisine in the former sailors' guild house. Here you can find the finest Maultaschen, Knöpfle with lentils and a lot more that makes the Swabians, but also everyone else, happy. While we were still a little undecided, a waiter promised us that the sun would soon shine on all the outside seats again. We were happy to believe him, took a seat and were not disappointed in any way. The sun was shining, the food was to die for and the waiter and we kept talking. At that moment, the Ulm fishing district was the most beautiful place in Germany. ;-)

We came across the restaurant based on the recommendations here on Google and were not disappointed. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, we were allowed to sit at a table. Food came very quickly and was delicious and we were served very courteously. We'd love to come back!

Good atmosphere. The food was more disappointing than expected. I went to Germany to give my family a taste of local food, but the schnitzel and other food did not meet my expectations. It felt like reheated frozen schnitzel, and the French fries also tasted like frozen products.

The restaurant is recommended, the food was very good and the restaurant was very comfortable. However, the good impression was marred by the obvious arguing between the operating staff. A no go for me in front of guests... it's a shame actually.

We had 3 main courses. Everything was very good (ravioli, roast beef and pork loin). The quantity is sufficient and the price is right. The service was very friendly, especially to our small children. Overall, highly recommended.

We were there with 4 adults and 4 children and the waiter was more than unfriendly and super annoyed with the children. The food was okay but not convincing for the price. In the future we will visit other places where children are also welcome.

Guests not welcome! Sat around unnoticed for 15 minutes! Then when asked, the kitchen is already closed! Since when? Just now! On a Saturday and not even 9 p.m.! The website even says hot food is served until 9 p.m.!

Very nice beer garden and the best cheese spaetzle I have ever eaten.

Went there for dinner as a couple. Even though there was a large group (>50 people) there at the same time, we were served super quickly and very nicely. We felt like we didn't have to wait 5 minutes for the food and it was simply delicious. Absolutely fair price. Gladly again.

I would be happy to recommend this restaurant! Very friendly staff, the food came quickly, was very tasty and enough to fill you up. Despite it being busy, we felt absolutely welcome and there was no sense of rush. We will definitely come back if we are in Ulm again at some point. Tip: Be sure to reserve in advance on the weekend!

We were there with 24 people. A mega super service. She had the whole group in full view and served them superbly. The onion roast was top and the whole thing was very harmonious.

We became aware of this restaurant because of the good reviews and spontaneously decided to have lunch there. There were two of us and one Saturday lunchtime (around 3 p.m.) when we came in we were greeted and told that only one table for two people was available until 4:15 p.m. However, half the restaurant was empty. (Out of 15 tables, only 5 were occupied, even if the unoccupied ones were larger tables, we found that quite unnecessary..) So we were seated at a table of two in the aisle and also had quite a space problem when the food came within a very short time. The dishes were very tasty, the portions were good. We paid a total of €66 for two main courses (dinner of the day), a salad and two drinks (0.2 l blackcurrant juice spritzer and a 0.3 non-alcoholic beer). So relatively expensive. Unfortunately, this fact and the thing with the tables left us somewhat negative. Otherwise it's a nice place where you can eat well.

The food was excellent, the portions were very generous, and the price was accordingly. We were a larger group. The child got his spaetzle very quickly. The service was very good until it came time to pay. We wanted to give a tip in cash but were more or less forced to do so when paying cashless to agree to a percentage. We felt ripped off here. Maybe because we were Americans.

I had the pleasure of dining in the Gastsstuben in the Shipmen's Guild House in Ulm and it was simply fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. The food was of the highest quality – the dishes were freshly prepared and full of flavour. I was particularly impressed by the friendly service, which was always attentive and helpful. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

We made a reservation for 8 people on Friday, without any problems. The building itself looks chic and so does the guest room. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and so are the drinks. The price is reasonable. Thank you.

We stumbled across this after visiting the crooked house and the river and so glad we did! What a find, Nimet greeted us warmly and helped us choose the perfect table (she was perfect for our whole visit). Berg beer was on tap and a favourite from my family who come regularly to Germany (from Australia). Food was delicious and I was offered the leftovers to take home. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful restaurant as you would imagine. It looks really great with the wooden beams and the chandelier. Very friendly welcome and attentive service. Good day card. Food came so quickly was very amazed. It was super tasty, the vegetables were perfect and the meat was tender. All in all, highly recommended. Gladly again. For our anniversary we went to the shipmen's guild house and were absolutely thrilled. The staff was very quick, friendly, and accommodating. Our food was delivered quickly and was beautifully presented. It tasted great. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated and you feel very comfortable. We will come back and can highly recommend the guild house.

We were there on a Saturday at lunchtime, with a reservation. We got there 15 minutes early (because we were cold), but it wasn't a problem. Had a nice seat on the gallery, service was friendly, quick and attentive. We enjoyed the food. Good roast venison with freshly prepared knöpfle and fine red cabbage with a good bite. The only complaint is that the actually nice leaf lettuce that my wife got with the good spinach dumplings was a bit drowned in dressing.

It was very enjoyable to eat in a 500-year-old restaurant. The interior is very authentic and beautiful. We ate two local beers, one potato salad and one portion of maultasche. The bill came to 27.00 Euros. It was very delicious and came quickly. The gentleman who took care of us was also very polite.

Food was OK. Unfortunately there was an allergic reaction. Comments were also ignored and glass on the floor was not cleared away. Toilets weren't clean. Overall it was okay, but we expected more.

We were there on a Friday evening. The inn was full but still cozy. The furnishings and feeling in the guild house are simply beautiful! The service is also top notch! Our waitress was very polite, responded to special requests (gluten-free, other side dishes, etc.) and was always attentive. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star for the food. The Allgäuer Schnitzel (breaded) was drowned in sauce - but of course it still tasted delicious! But maybe. you could serve the sauce in a separate bowl on the plate (it would look nicer then ;)) Unfortunately, most main courses don't come with a salad. You can order the small salad for 7.50 euros. However, this is just a side salad and the price is in no way reasonable. All in all, good 4 stars and recommended!
