Service is quick and the ambience is good too. To put it in a school grade, food should be given a 2-3. Unfortunately I can't give it 4 stars for this price. 2 people starter and main course without dessert for 90 EUR including tip, the expectations were higher

We were in Ulm on business and ate dinner at the Wirtshaus zur Brezel on four days. Everyone was very satisfied. The food is of very good quality and portion size, tastes great and is great value for money. If the path takes me to Ulm again, I will definitely come back here.

Nice welcome, warm service. Short waiting time for the food we ordered. We were there with a total of 5 people (2 adults & 3 kids). Food was also visually appealing. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste. We were passing through and can only recommend the inn.

Best Swabian restaurant in Ulm with good prices. We come back regularly. The large salad and the lentils with spaetzle are particularly recommended. But the rest is also great.

Eating very comfortably was super tasty

I asked if they offered gluten free options. I was informed by email that they of course offer gluten-free dishes. When we were there, the waitress said in an unfriendly tone that she didn't know what gluten-free was. After I asked her to ask in the kitchen, she rolled her eyes and said she was asking. Ultimately, the feedback was that they didn't actually have any gluten-free options. On the one hand, the response annoyed me because I had specifically requested it, and on the other hand, I had rarely experienced such unfriendly conditions.

The place is very nice and food is wonderful! We tried the dunkel Salvatore bier (~4.5 eur for 0.5 l), cordon blue and the dish of the day (it was the meat + pasta). Additionally order the sour cabbage and it also was nice. Highly recommended!!!

Unfriendly, lazy servers. We decided not to eat here and left after the aperitif.

Rump steak was excellent and the price was right. Rustic guest room, only a communal bench, does not allow you to stay longer.

Interesting atmosphere, mix of classic and modern. However, service was hardly present and the wait for food was long. Food ranged from very tasty to boring in terms of components. Therefore 4+2+4 stars = 10 stars as a rating. Which brings the average down to 3.3.

It was a lovely evening at the Brezel pub. The service was super friendly (always a smile on the face), the food was simply delicious (kudos to the kitchen) and the atmosphere was simply rustic (but not old-fashioned). For me as a Rhinelander, a place that I will definitely visit again on my next visit.

I went alone for dinner, they only speak German, but with a couple of words that I know they treated me wonderfully. Very pleasant atmosphere, the staff dresses in typical clothing.

Ristorante in centro, ben arredato e con un'atmosfera gioviale. Camerieri attenti e sorridenti, servizio veloce. Piatti abbondanti, prezzi medi. Abbiamo preso una schnitzel molto gustosa e il gulasch, accompagnati da spatzle. Molto buoni, solo il gulasch avrebbe potuto essere più morbido.

We've been to Ulm many times but never saw this restaurant. We passed by by chance and will definitely go there again to eat. We can really recommend it.

Nice, comfortably furnished restaurant. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was very good and plentiful. We had the Cordon Bleu and the Schwabenstreich. Both were very tasty. The Swabian Streich may seem a bit expensive, but there is a lot of variety on the plate. It was definitely worth it!

We had dinner here on September 21st, 2024. The dishes were very, very tasty. The ambience, the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food were a real win for us. We will be pampering ourselves with these delicacies there more often in the future. Many thanks to the staff

Schönes Ambiente, war schon öfters als Gast und immer sehr zufrieden. Mein letzter Besuch im September: Käsespätzle mit Salat: Wer als Bayrisches-Schwäbisches Lokal, Käsespätzle mit Mozzarellakäse macht... und dazu den Beilagensalat mit Oliven und Peperoni serviert... Geschmacklich nicht schlecht, das esse ich gerne bei Südländischer Küche - nur leider- Thema (Bayrisch-Schwäbisch) verfehlt! Meine Kritik wurde von der Bedienung gehört und weitergegeben, jedoch ohne Reaktion. Schade.

We were seated inside, probably the only ones there, as everyone else was sitting outside & so we had to wait a bit before we could place our order or pay. We ordered cheese spaetzle. They tasted good, but for me personally they were a bit too firm and not enough cheese

We used to eat here frequently before the pandemic. Now we wanted to offer friends something good - and unfortunately we weren't completely satisfied. The focus is on quantity instead of quality; sometimes the two waitresses walked past without a sideways glance, so that some requests could only be expressed with a long delay.

Very salty beef meatballs. Nothing special. I didn't like the beer either. The ambience outside was very dark. Despite the nice weather, umbrellas or covers were put up. As a result, it was dark and there was no real beer garden atmosphere.

Ordered a normal Kaiserschmarrn on Saturday. Get the slightly more expensive extra Kaiserschmarrn with almonds and raisins. In principle it doesn't matter but I only noticed it while eating. People with allergies could be in for a nasty surprise with something like this. My husband had an ice cream sundae and it was really great value for money. All in all OK.

We were thrilled with the children's portions, a little cheaper and completely sufficient. We can recommend cheese spaetzle and the potato salad.

Very solid and tasty food. Good middle-class Bavarian cuisine is more apt. Chic atmosphere, large terrace at the front and a slightly smaller one in the courtyard. Direct connection to the hotel. very clean location and generally a clean restaurant. Food and drink were prepared very quickly. All 6 people were served their drinks at the same time and then their food! We started eating together! 3x plated aspic, 2x with fried potatoes, 1x with bread 1x Schlutzkrapfen, 1x turkey schnitzel with spinach spaetzle. The food was generally rustic and traditional. The portions are more than enough! Service is very friendly and attentive. All in all, highly recommended! We'd love to come back!

We went to this restaurant with 3 children and we were all very happy! A nice little card with a coloring picture for the children and very good food for us adults too. The dish of the day for 13.90 euros was great value for money!

Excellent service after eating at the table for 10 minutes people often ask if you need anything else. The interior is luxurious and outside there is a beautiful beer garden with a flat screen. Recommendation.

Restaurant belongs to the Hotel Roter Löwe. There is a large Buergarten in the pedestrian zone area and a small one in the back yard of the hotel. Food is good middle class and certainly fresh. I had the beef patties and sensational potato salad, really delicious. The next evening I had the beef broth with homemade Maultaschen, which was also very tasty.

Unfortunately, this good restaurant has suffered from the impact of Corona, the associated lack of staff and the desire to make up for what was lost. The taste of the food was good, but served so carelessly it looked more like a canteen, and that for a hefty price of almost 13 euros. *** After two years I was there again. Friendly, well-kept, and the small portion of roast pork is really small. God knows it won't kill you. But it is really expensive.

The food here is really delicious. There were 6 of us here and we had different dishes. The roast roast is on point, the schnitzel or turkey schnitzel is tender, the salad is fresh, simply good food. Just like it should be when you go somewhere to eat. The food came quickly and the staff was friendly and concerned about our well-being. What I like is that you can order the portions in different sizes. If the weather is nice, you can also sit outside and now that the European Championships are on, you can comfortably watch football thanks to a flat screen.

Overall quite ok. The waitress seemed more and more annoyed as the evening went on. There is no butter with the pretzel. If you order this, there is only a small pack like you know from breakfast. Had the Cordonbleau with fried potatoes. Tasted very good. Beer is also available by the glass. I didn't find the atmosphere very comfortable.

Food and menu really very good. . There are only clear differences in the controls. . The lady about 2 weeks ago was really on the ball, very friendly. This time the young lady was probably not in the mood at all. I really thought about going again. It would actually have been 5 stars so there is a 2 star deduction. .

Nachdem wir für unseren Ulmaufenthalt ein Zimmer im dazugehörigen Hotel Roter Löwe gebucht haben,nutzten wir den Abend für einen Besuch in der "Brezel"!Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.Schöne Auswahl an vorallem bodenständigen Gerichten .Aber auch Vegetarisches.(Der von mir gewählte "Spargel Stuttgarter Art "war sehr gut zubereitet.)Aufmerksamer ,freundlicher Service im ansprechenden Rahmen. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Beautiful inn in a traditional ambience in the middle of Ulm city center. We got a hot meal in the early afternoon. Both dishes were delicious. Friendly service and fair prices. Everything fine.
