A variety of (sweet and salty) dishes on a thin, airy pancake (and also dishes without pancakes) at acceptable prices in a rustic atmosphere.

Very good food, the large schnitzel with fried egg, fries and a salad wedge and cheese spaetzle were great. The pancakes all looked delicious, from sweet to savory toppings. Large selection of different dishes. Nice beer garden and cozy atmosphere in the guest room. Very friendly and attentive staff. Price performance fits. We'll be back.

Unfortunately we cannot rate the standard of the food as the waitress didn't even let us say hello or ask a question. She abruptly said just one word - "No" - and walked away, leaving us standing at the entrance. But there were free and unreserved tables. Disgusting service! We will never go there again. Worst rating. There are much more inviting places nearby.

We had reservations and sat outside. Probably difficult to get a table during the holidays without a reservation. The pancakes were delicious, as were the cream schnitzel and the fire sausage (unfortunately only 1 sausage for that price). Fries were too hard for us. Otherwise it was cozy, the food came relatively quickly and the service was friendly.

The food was very tasty and the selection was more than sufficient. In terms of price, I also think it's okay. The conditions were also friendly. But you should reserve in advance if you want a table, even during the week.

Omg huge things you can't eat that much

The food was really good, although the "Kinderschnitzel" would have been enough food for a full grown man. The pancakes were also good and very large. The atmosphere in the beer garden is very cozy. Service understaffed, easily overwhelmed and therefore a bit unfriendly. To pay with the card you have to go in (and this is in 2024). All in all, recommended.

Enjoyed pancakes (duh) outdoors. The seats outside are very pleasant and in the middle of Ulm's fishing district. Highlight on the menu next to hearty and sweet pancakes: Dinonuggets 😀

My wife has wanted to go to the pancake house for a long time, but I've always been reluctant because, to be honest, I'm not a big fan of pancakes 🙃 Yesterday we were out and about in the Fischerviertel again, and as we walked past we took a closer look at the menu: Lo and behold, pancake-free dishes for me too 😋 So head into the really rustic and cozy dining room, which exudes a lot of charm with its dark wood paneling. The menu offers a great selection of pancakes of all kinds, whether sweet or savory. My wife then chose the “Bernese style” pancake with sliced ​​veal. I chose the beer garden schnitzel with fried egg and fries. Both dishes were really tasty and solidly prepared, although the breading of the schnitzel could have been a little crispier, as could the fries. But these are just nuances. The only real shame were the two ready-made dressings on the side salad and on the salad garnish of my schnitzel. Honestly, a simple balsamic vinaigrette is so quick to make and tastes way better. There is still room for improvement. The service was polite and courteous, but would have liked to have been at the table 1-2 times more often, then one more drink would have ended up on the receipt. All in all, a rock-solid performance for which we deserve a 4* 🙌🏻

Were there yesterday on Swearing Monday. Despite being busy, very friendly and fast service. Huge selection of pancakes with a variety of side dishes, whether savory or sweet. Price/performance absolutely top. The food is very tasty, bring a lot of hunger and it's best to make a reservation, it's always very busy.

The food was very tasty and we had a good meal. The service was ok. There was always someone there until our food came, but after that we couldn't get anyone to the table for ages. We actually wanted to walk along the Danube for half an hour before our train left. Unfortunately this wasn't possible because there wasn't a waitress in sight to pay for ages. A pity.

The pancakes are super tasty and extremely large! Many delicious variations in sweet and savory. Also traditional dishes if someone doesn't feel like pancakes. The service was friendly and very quick. It's always worth a visit!

The ambience and food were good, but the male service wasn't working at all. When we walked into the restaurant there was no staff in sight. Then we just sat down at a free table. Later the waiter came and loudly complained about us to his colleague and we were then ignored by him, but in the best way! Not a word was said to us about what we had done wrong. He was overly friendly with the other guests and jumped right away. His nice colleague then served us. In any case, we won't go there again and don't recommend it.

We were at the pancake house yesterday (July 3rd) and were thrilled. Food was excellent... But the best thing was the young lady in service. Rarely have we experienced such friendly service... fast but still very patient, courteous and always with a smile. Big praise!! We'd love to come back!

The atmosphere is very rustic. I personally find it very pleasant. The food is top. There are so many different pancakes from sweet to savory or savory. There's something for everyone. The staff is super nice. The price-performance ratio is good. We were only here for a few days, but we'd love to come back when we're in the area again. Highly recommended. 👍

Our first visit to the Ulmer Pfannkuchenhaus, certainly not the last. We had the hearty pancake versions. Once with fried bacon and cheese, once with diced bacon and mushrooms. Both absolutely delicious and at around €14 absolutely within the budget. Nice place to sit outside in the shade with a view of the pedestrian zone. The food was served after about 20 minutes by a friendly waitress.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the all-too-good reviews. We were very disappointed with the pancakes and we didn't like the taste either. I expected more for the price. The service that day was very unfriendly. 6/15/24

We first had a pancake soup, which was very tasty, then 3 large, delicious pancakes. 2 spicy and a sweet with chocolate ice cream. It was definitely worth a trip there.. but it is always full.. You should probably make a reservation

Romantic building restaurant with outdoor area and small beer garden. You should really be hungry when you eat the large pancakes, the selection is huge and everything is deliciously prepared. Something different and therefore special. The friendly service tops it all off. Prices relatively cheap, card payment possible.

Unfortunately very narrow and not suitable for wheelchairs. But food great good price performance ratio. I would come back at any time to try out the great variations of pancakes.

The visit with our American friends is unforgettable. This is one of my favorite restaurants because everything is just right: selection - something for everyone -, value for money, ambience... Always happy, just like that or with a visitor. Already recommended to many and everyone loved it!

There is a vegetarian recipe (not vegan) and it looks and tastes pretty messy and it is also very expensive for what it is. I understand that it is certainly a traditional restaurant, but in my opinion it is disrespectful and I have no understanding for it and I don't need anyone to tell me that I should just eat somewhere else. If I could, I would give 0 stars.

I am 52 years old and it was the best pancake with fresh mushrooms, bacon and onions that I have ever eaten in my life. And very plentiful. Simply recommended.

Located in the beautiful Fischerviertel of Ulm. We had a cheese schnitzel with spaetzle, but perhaps we would have been better off ordering one of the many pancake options. The beer was delicious.

It is advisable to reserve well in advance as there are not many seats in the building. However, we still got a seat at the counter which was also very good. I can really only recommend it. :D

My food (schnitzel) looked a lot like convenience products. The pancakes looked much better, but the price was too expensive (in my opinion). Interior seems very old-fashioned, the waitresses should brush up on the basics in terms of friendliness and service.

Uniquely special and yet known as a woman from Ulm. Were there again recently. It was as you knew it. No matter which pancake 🥞 it tastes really good 👍🏻 we were there as a family. I had a pancake with chicken, tomato balsamic vinegar and Mozitop 🔝 Very satisfied and always happy ☺️ Child and husband went for the first time and were thrilled 🤩 Keep it up 👏

Very good restaurant. Access is very difficult for disabled people. Steps too high and little space in front of the door. Almost impossible to get into the restaurant with a walker. The food was excellent and the service was very accommodating and friendly.

We ordered a Spezi and a blackcurrant spritzer with still water...unfortunately I got water from the tap - well, not really great! We sat at the bar because there was a really good crowd today and so we had a good view of the bar...advantageous? Well, we observed, among other things, that drinks were prepared with ice and the ice was put into the full glass with hands that had previously been in countless other places, without gloves/tongs. It's clear to us here...don't order any more drinks with ice or still water. The food was good!

I've been coming here very regularly for 2 years. And this time I had a voucher that I wanted to redeem but hadn't printed out. I told the service team that. I suggested several ways to redeem the voucher, but none were accepted and apparently they didn't have a printer on site. That's a shame and not guest-oriented at all. I do not come anymore. The food is great, but something like this is an absolute disgrace.

It's a shame that you as a customer are treated this way by the hostess/owner. We got there at 5pm. We wanted to have a drink first and then see if we could eat something there. It was also quite early. We got a table. Ordered something and then she asked if we wanted to eat. No, we didn't know that yet...well then she looked a bit difficult and we were asked to take a seat at the bar. Didn't go very friendly... then it turned out to be a pancake restaurant. We had not seen it and went inside mainly because of the beautiful building. In addition, we saw that many guests did not eat the pancakes completely. So no, we thought we would eat somewhere else. Our table was not reserved because another couple arrived and were placed there without an appointment. When we wanted to pay (by card) the lady suddenly said no, that is not possible, only possible from 15 euros... and then with a ridiculously inhospitable look. So I asked where does that say??? (We didn't have any cash either by chance) she had no answer to that and then suddenly it was possible... Really very unfriendly and actually antisocial. She said: yes for the next time then you will know.. hahahaha what was she thinking? I will never visit that place again. By the way, our bill is usually 2/3 drinks and 1/3 food. So that was well spent at a very nice restaurant further away.. Great welcome and a place arranged even though it was actually full..

Die Lokation ist urig und gemütlich. Der Service war in Ordnung. Das Essen hat mich hingegen nicht überzeugt. Das Cordon Bleu (Kalb) war leider etwas trocken und sehr fettig. Das Jogurt-Salatdressing war fade und ölig. Für den Preis von knapp 27€ hat mich das Gericht daher nicht überzeugt.

Schön, dass es so etwas noch gibt, Pfannkuchen in allen Varianten, immer wieder was neues auf der Karte, war schon oft da, jedesmal Mega lecker, toller Service und im Sommer herrlich zum draußen sitzen, reservieren empfehle ich auf jeden Fall am Wochenende, immer sehr gut besucht
