Ordered this mushroom pancake. The Pfannkuchen in itself was tasteless, the tastes only is from the Beilage. But the mushroom with onions and creme was just amazing. May be I will come back to try a sweet pancake. May be may be not.

We were here for the first time today, my boyfriend and I, and we were satisfied! The onion roast with cheese spaetzle was delicious, but the beef was a little tough. The salad was also delicious. The atmosphere, interior and location are very good. Only the prices are perhaps a bit too high. Everything else was great!

The only thing I found stupid was that I couldn't pay with a card because the device was apparently broken. So I had to ask my companion for money. Unbelievable but true. Telephone reservation. Conversation with the employee on the phone. Would like to know the name of the employee in order to be able to make a reservation if necessary. Because the 8 of us would have liked to eat something here and otherwise it would be difficult to get a replacement on the weekend. I quote: I don't say my names, none of us do that on the phone... Speechless about such outrageousness, we won't eat there, not at all!

We were spontaneously in Ulm and asked if there was anything else available and the ladies made it possible. According to my husbands, the food was great. Unfortunately I was only allowed to eat one soup but that was great too. We notice and the inn. Hmmmmmmm top top!

It was fully booked as I came, was lucky to get a table spontaneously. Very nice concept and a good portion. Overall, it was not bad, but I gave a deduction as the filling was unfortunately a bit too salty… (I will update review again if I come again)

We managed to get a table despite the house being full. Super friendly service. Large selection in the menu, not just pancakes. Pancakes, whether savory or sweet, have a sufficient portion size and we all enjoyed them very much. We are happy to recommend it 👍

We were a bit curious and went there! Totally full! Sat at the bar! Service team super nice and attentive! The food was delicious! However, I think 17 euros for 1 pancake with chopped strips is a bit expensive! A salad with it would be great!

Two steps to the entrance. Therefore not wheelchair accessible. A really nice restaurant where you can eat from afternoon to evening. The menu is varied and everything is very fresh and delicious! When I'm back in Ulm, I'll go here again. Toilet very well maintained Tourism and tourists like to stop here, so there may be longer waiting times. But that shouldn't be a problem.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was excellent - every dish was fresh and prepared with attention to detail. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for an evening with friends or family. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Price-performance ratio also fits. I can't quite agree with the good reviews. The pancakes from me and my companion (cooked ham and cheese & Swabian bacon pancakes) were really nothing special. The careless arrangement was particularly disturbing (sausage and cheese slices slapped on top, tasteless bacon cubes fried into the equally tasteless dough). With a little more love and spice you could get so much out of this, and that's what you can expect given the prices. The service wasn't unfriendly, but overwhelmed. We won't be coming back.

But you should reserve in advance as it is always full. The food is delicious and plentiful. Would love to come back. We were at the pancake house yesterday. The food was delicious, but the service was terrible from the start. The staff were unfriendly, seemed annoyed and didn't create a feeling of well-being. The empty plates were also cleared away even though not everyone had finished eating yet. They were also treated rudely when paying, so I didn't tip for the first time. So we definitely won't go there again.

Firstly, I had the feeling that I had been pressured into ordering by the waiter. Then when the food came and I later discovered a hair in the pancake, I called the waiter and showed him the hair. He then offered me a coffee as compensation, which was unacceptable. He said that I still had to pay for the food with my hair. AN INSURANCE. NO RECOMMENDATION

The Ulm pancake house in the Fisherman's Quarter belongs here like the Eiffel Tower belongs to Paris. Definitely a must for pancake joy (and if you don't like it, there is also schnitzel). There are huge portions with different taste explosions from sweet to definitely everything is included. See for yourself, it's worth it.

We had reservations and sat outside. Probably difficult to get a table during the holidays without a reservation. The pancakes were delicious, as were the cream schnitzel and the fire sausage (unfortunately only 1 sausage for that price). Fries were too hard for us. Otherwise it was cozy, the food came relatively quickly and the service was friendly.

Unfortunately we cannot rate the standard of the food as the waitress didn't even let us say hello or ask a question. She abruptly said just one word - "No" - and walked away, leaving us standing at the entrance. But there were free and unreserved tables. Disgusting service! We will never go there again. Worst rating. There are much more inviting places nearby.

The food was really good, although the "Kinderschnitzel" would have been enough food for a full grown man. The pancakes were also good and very large. The atmosphere in the beer garden is very cozy. Service understaffed, easily overwhelmed and therefore a bit unfriendly. To pay with the card you have to go in (and this is in 2024). All in all, recommended.

My wife has wanted to go to the pancake house for a long time, but I've always been reluctant because, to be honest, I'm not a big fan of pancakes 🙃 Yesterday we were out and about in the Fischerviertel again, and as we walked past we took a closer look at the menu: Lo and behold, pancake-free dishes for me too 😋 So head into the really rustic and cozy dining room, which exudes a lot of charm with its dark wood paneling. The menu offers a great selection of pancakes of all kinds, whether sweet or savory. My wife then chose the “Bernese style” pancake with sliced ​​veal. I chose the beer garden schnitzel with fried egg and fries. Both dishes were really tasty and solidly prepared, although the breading of the schnitzel could have been a little crispier, as could the fries. But these are just nuances. The only real shame were the two ready-made dressings on the side salad and on the salad garnish of my schnitzel. Honestly, a simple balsamic vinaigrette is so quick to make and tastes way better. There is still room for improvement. The service was polite and courteous, but would have liked to have been at the table 1-2 times more often, then one more drink would have ended up on the receipt. All in all, a rock-solid performance for which we deserve a 4* 🙌🏻

Were there yesterday on Swearing Monday. Despite being busy, very friendly and fast service. Huge selection of pancakes with a variety of side dishes, whether savory or sweet. Price/performance absolutely top. The food is very tasty, bring a lot of hunger and it's best to make a reservation, it's always very busy.

The food was very tasty and we had a good meal. The service was ok. There was always someone there until our food came, but after that we couldn't get anyone to the table for ages. We actually wanted to walk along the Danube for half an hour before our train left. Unfortunately this wasn't possible because there wasn't a waitress in sight to pay for ages. A pity.

The ambience and food were good, but the male service wasn't working at all. When we walked into the restaurant there was no staff in sight. Then we just sat down at a free table. Later the waiter came and loudly complained about us to his colleague and we were then ignored by him, but in the best way! Not a word was said to us about what we had done wrong. He was overly friendly with the other guests and jumped right away. His nice colleague then served us. In any case, we won't go there again and don't recommend it.

Our first visit to the Ulmer Pfannkuchenhaus, certainly not the last. We had the hearty pancake versions. Once with fried bacon and cheese, once with diced bacon and mushrooms. Both absolutely delicious and at around €14 absolutely within the budget. Nice place to sit outside in the shade with a view of the pedestrian zone. The food was served after about 20 minutes by a friendly waitress.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the all-too-good reviews. We were very disappointed with the pancakes and we didn't like the taste either. I expected more for the price. The service that day was very unfriendly. 6/15/24
