The laughing server is drunk and then brings the wrong drinks
After 2 beers and a white wine the bill comes to 48.50, perhaps in the middle with the corresponding ambience and service, but something like that will never happen again
It was in a four-star hotel, with a nice environment, live music, and a nice atmosphere. The appetizers provided by the kitchen were good, and the beef liver pate bread appetizer was also delicious, but the price tag of 21 euros was very empty, and no one would order it alone. For the main course, I ordered beer-braised Wagyu beef, a piece of pure lean meat. The stew was very bad but also very dry. It was impossible to tell that it was Wagyu beef. The cheese polenta that came with it had no cheese flavor. The other main dish was pan-fried sea trout. It was quite thick and the meat was very dry. It might have been fried too thoroughly. The dessert crème brûlée was okay but nothing special. Overall, it's pretty good, and the price isn't too expensive. I think it's more about the environment or the Michelin name. I would not recommend it to those who focus on food.
Unfortunately I didn't come here often, but I loved it beyond words!! The food was just honest! It was a small menu, but with soooo delicious food at really fair prices!!! The staff was always super friendly. Even though I was rarely there, it always felt like I was having dinner with friends. The ambience wasn't that cozy, but everything else made up for it!!
We think it's a shame that the restaurant has closed. There is hardly anything so delicious, friendly and affordable anymore!
We wish the entire staff all the best for the future and say thank you for the great time!
Ein Koch mit Leib und Seele, hier wird auch außerhalb der Karte gekocht...man muss nur danach fragen.
Ich bin total begeistert von der Qualität des Essens, und freue mich schon darauf, wieder dort Essen zu dürfen.
Unfortunately not like it used to be. It's a shame for such a traditional restaurant. Lukewarm Nuremberg grilled sausages, rock-hard pretzels and more expensive than in other Nuremberg restaurants. What a beautiful place this was - once upon a time.
Local German restaurant recommended by a friend
There is delicious cider
Apple juice is delicious too
The onion soup is thick but quite salty
The pork chop salad is delicious!
BTW the waiter is very enthusiastic❤️very good English
We ate in the restaurant on February 15, 2025. The ambience is unique, the restaurant is tastefully decorated and everything is very, very clean. However, either the information between the waiter and the kitchen is lost, or everything is taken in half-heartedly. Because the food was not delivered as requested. Kaiserschmarren was also ordered without powdered sugar. Apparently the waiter noticed, so we put it back in the oven and we had to eat our Kaiserschmarren dipped in melted sugar. A very cheap number for such a posh restaurant.
Really a shame!
I highly recommend the Krabba-Nescht. It's a great place to stop after a long hike in the surrounding area. Reservations are essential. The food, ambiance, and service are excellent. You can also mention dogs when making a reservation.
